Margaret H has volunteered to host her cat, Simon Peanut, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) during June 2023. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
We encourage all of you to connect with Simon Peanut now and throughout the month.
Tune into Simon Peanut first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Simon Peanut feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc. Ask Simon Peanut ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Gold and Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Simon Peanut along with Val on the Q&A call Saturday, June 10. Check your time on a world clock for call time of 11:30am Eastern / 10:30am Central Texas. (The US is Daylight Savings time for this call.) Call reminder emails will also be sent to you. Call information found in your course materials.
Have fun practicing your communication skills in this supportive setting! Lots of interesting discoveries happen here.

As soon as I connected, Simon Peanut rolled over for a belly rub. Such a sweetie. I asked “Would you like a belly rub?” Then I said “Oh my, I just sounded like Val!”. I proceeded to give SP a belly rub. “Oh you’re so soft”. “Oh, listen to you purr” .
(T)You like greeting new people don’t you? Very confident and very social. You keep saying “I am the definition of a house cat”.
(SP) I walk around, I eat, I sleep, I ask for pets and attention and I get it all. I have a great life.
(T) You have some nice cat trees.
(SP) Yeah, my house is set up just for me. I’m very lucky.
(T) That is so nice. You know what else, it’s nice that you appreciate what you have.
(SP) I love my home. I love my family. Everyone is so nice. Such a happy place.(SP) Sometimes I get special treats for food. I never know when they are coming though. When they do, I gobble it up. I can never tell when I will get them though.
(SP) There is no rhythm to it. I’m happy when I get them.
(T) Is it canned food?
(SP) Yeah sometimes. I also get the crunchy treats with something inside. I like both.
(SP) I’m not fat, so she can give me treats!
(T) I never called you fat.
(SP) Other people think cats are fat and lazy.
(T) No, I have 2 cats. I don’t think they are fat or lazy. Not at all. I see cats as explorers and mighty hunters, not fat and lazy.
(SP) I could be laying on the couch and let’s say a mouse somehow got in the house, I would wake up from a dead sleep and run and catch that mouse!
(T) I bet you would!(T) What else do you like?
(SP) Laying in people’s laps while they watch TV.
(SP) I sometimes run around the house really fast. My Mom always asks me “Do you have the zoomies?
(SP) I get a bunch of energy and I run really fast in spurts.
(SP) I only do it for a few seconds and then I stop.
(SP) Then I say, “That’s enough of that! It makes me tired!
(SP) It always makes my Mom laugh though.
(SP) I am a good hunter…It’s not imaginary. Sometimes I like swatting at these things that float in the air next to windows in the sunlight. I whack it down. It’s fun. I like doing that. There are a lot of things that float in the air next to a window when it’s sunny out. People don’t pay attention to it but I do. Sometimes I just like to whack it!
I have toys though. I like them too.(SP) I am a very graceful walker. I never knock over my Mom’s things. I am very careful not to knock things over because that would make my Mom sad. I know where my feet are and I don’t knock her stuff over. I don’t want to make my Mom sad or angry.
(SP) If she takes away my special toys I get sad. But I know she is collecting them and putting them in my basket so she doesn’t vacuum them up. When she is done vacuuming, I go in there and it’s like I am rediscovering my toys.
That’s kind of fun. As long as I know she isn’t throwing them out, I’m OK.(SP) I don’t go out on a leash, but I might want to try it. It might be too scary but I’m pretty confident. I might want to try it if Mom is up to trying that with me. Not far, just outside of the doorway and smell the bushes and flowers close to the door. I’m not interested in walking down the street or anything!
(T) OK I will tell your Mom about trying out walking on a leash with you.
(T)Is there anything else that I can tell your Mom for you?
(T) No, I live a happy life. I like being me.
(T) That’s fantastic! I think you’re a pretty cool cat!
(T)Do you want another belly rub before I leave?
(T) I gave Simon Peanut a belly rub and thanked him for the amazing conversation. -

Thank you, Terrianne. You got a lot from Simon Peanut! He is very sociable. He is also what some might call a compulsive eater. He can be in a dead sleep and if he hears a kibble, he’ll come running! He is graceful and deliberate. I love that he wants to try going out on a leash to smell the flowers off the patio. I’ll try it and let you know when so you can reach back out to SP to ask about the experience.
I look forward to hearing more… -

What a wonderful cat he is! Yes, please do let me know about how it goes if he gets the courage to go out on leash.

Hi Margaret,
Here is what I sensed during my conversation with Simon Peanut:
I sensed a light blue aura close to his body. As well that he is outgoing, extraverted, happy, settled, clairaudient, with a soft and silky fur and a warm body. If I could hear him: warm tone, not too loud, but insistent.
When he stepped out of the frame he came close to me, inquiring, interested in what was to come. At the time we connected he was resting on a round light coloured cushion. He is feeling fine in his body, although he feels a bit uncomfortable at his left armpit and right elbow. Asked him why: has been exercising too energetically, may be on a cat tree?
He doesn’t really like his food. He would not say why. His favourite food: showed me a piece of pink something like fish – would it be salmon? Yes, he is quite fond of fine food. Doesn’t like dry food. Showed me again salmon which he much prefers. Asked him to show me his home from his viewpoint: a spacious room downstairs, high ceiling, stairs that lead to the first floor. He lives in a not too big white walled house. His favourite spot inside: upstairs, on the duvet (white) of his mum’s bed. Your bedroom may be located in the middle when you arrive upstairs and it is possible that another bedroom is next to yours on the left as well and another one on the right (but not sure about that). Asking what he loved to do inside: be at the top of the stairs from where he has a global view of the living room downstairs, from where he would keep an eye on what was going on as well as guard the place. Simon Peanut is not getting outside. His mum is most important to him, huge love for her. What’s important for him: sleeping, resting, watching from upstairs. What he likes to do for fun: go down the stairs very, very speedily. No other animals living with him. His best friend: you. What do cats do: groom their body, take care of their image. (I complimented him on the beauty of his fur and his amazing whiskers which I love. I sensed his look was very important to him). He loves to stay with his mum, it is reassuring and soothing for him. Doesn’t like water, is afraid of it. Simon Peanut has always lived with you. Likes to be petted. He gave me the permission to pet him, what a silky fur! His role is to supervise you, he is your protector. His purpose is to give you love, reassurance, assistance and be present at your side. Yes, he is fulfilling his purpose. Anything you could help him with: showed me again the piece of salmon. Ditto he can help you with: let go of worries, they are not worth it (take it easy), give you joy and comfort. Anything I can help him with: report our conversation to you (explained how it works on FAT page). Ditto he can help me with: sensed “friendship” (may be have more friends?). Any message for me to improve in animal communication: sensed “continue like this”. Anything else he wanted to say before I left: let’s chat again 🙂 Simon Peanut is your protector. Yes, he likes to speak with us although he is a bit afraid for our next Q&A call. Reassured him about this.I also asked him for advice for a personal thing: would it be a good thing to adopt another dog now (after my dog’s passing). It would be a ten years old Labrador named Edelweiss who already came to stay with me recently for a couple of days. I appreciate and love her very much. Simon Peanut meant that this would be great and would do me so much good.
I ended the call sending a lot of hugs and kisses.
Simon Peanut is such a wonderful being, patient, respectful, wise. He is a healer.I do hope it makes sense and please excuse any misinterpretations.
Looking forward to your reply

Evelyne,
It sounds like you had a long conversation with our Simon Peanut! Wow! He does live in a household with 6 other cats and 3 dogs. He does have his favorite sleeping places, one of which is on the stairs (usually either at the second step from the top or the second or third step from the bottom) or on a soft rug. The house does have 4 bedrooms, all of which are off of the landing at the top of the stairs. You got a good sense of the location of the bedrooms, which is really amazing!
Simon Peanut gets either fish or chicken in the mornings and dry food the remainder of the day. He heartily eats everything! Thank you for letting me know about the salmon!
I am so glad you got so much from Simon. He is such a sweet, playful, lovable kitty. I did get the message about worrying, and I am working on that!!
Let us know about Edelweiss! I’m sure Simon would like to know!
Thanks again, Evelyne. -

Dear Margaret,
Here is what I got from Simon Peanut on the call. I love his name!
Any feedback would be most welcome.
Thank you for our call together.
with love,
RosemaryI got that he is an old soul. A history in Egypt and connected with Ra the sun king.
physical: perhaps his back left hip is stiff. perhaps a little stiff around the neck – I got that he is getting older.
He is very playful. Commanding but not a bully. He has energy and loves life. He showed me himself standing with his tail up swaying proudly. He is lithe.
He showed me pictures of him playing in the grass pouncing, of him skidding across a smooth floor and moving the rug.
I got that he has a fine hunting instinct. He says he likes his food (favourite may be fish) but he prefers hunting more. He would like to catch a mouse and eat it fresh.
He showed me pictures of trees with dappled sunshine on the floor. Perhaps some kind of pine /fir trees.
I think he has been with you since a kitten – perhaps you even knew his parents.
Is there a grey cat in the family? His message to you: Chill out! (with an exclamation mark).
Message to me: Relax girl. You are too anxious. You do belong here. We all belong here. It’s exhausting to be so anxious – let it go.He said: I love being here. This is where i live. It’s important to interact with all the energies where you live (beings and things). He showed me a picture of him purring on the earth, exchaning vibrations.
He said: It’s important to remove the surface layers and be sincere and you you are. Don’t pretend in front of others. Be you.
Play is very important. He is a Master Teacher (with capitals) – really very wise and a lot to teach. He brings in light energy. He says that cats don’t teach like humans through talking but through guiding and influencing and working on energy.
I commented that his eyes were very beautiful He said: I can see in the dark but also different frequencies.

Rosemary,
Thank you for your speaking with Simon Peanut. You got a lot from him. I find it interesting that hat he is connected to Ra. I’ll need to explore that more.
Simon Peanut is 12 years old, and I have had him since rescuing him from the street as a tiny kitten. He has always been quite playful. He is commanding and not a bully.
None of our cats are allowed outdoors so the only hunting in the house would be the occasional insect that shows up.
We have 2 grey cats in the family, one who was already here when he joined the family, and the other just in the last few months.
Thank you for his message to me. I do need to chill out! It is something I am working on now that I have retired.
I love that he sees different frequencies. We need to explore that as well.
Thanks again, Rosemary. -

Hello Margaret. Thank you for the opportunity to talk with your cat Simon Peanut. I connected with Simon Peanut and this is what I recorded:
Me: Hello would you be willing to talk with me?
Simon Peanut: Yes, yes, I am very excited, I love talking to humans. It is my absolute pleasure to talk to you. What a great chance to show my wisdom so people know who I truly am – to be heard by humans – the real me, I am so pleased. Tell Margaret that I love her but I play a key role in the family that she is not aware of. I help to stabilize the family unit – to keep everyone calm. I am a facilitator of peace – a leader, that’s why I stepped up to do this. I want to help, I love to help, so thank you Angela for helping me to get my voice heard. I cannot thank you enough.Me: I love cats, I think you are wonderful.
Simon Peanut: We are, we are so smart but very much misunderstood – but things are changing because of people like you.Me: Do you live with Little Ricky?
Simon Peanut: Yes I do. I like him, but I am his leader. He is not as confident as me, I am the boss. He often needs my guidance which I am happy to give. He can be a bit anxious and needy – not like me. I am a strong, confident being. We are very different personalities but we are ok together. We all cohabit and get on because I am a strong leader and keep everyone in line. I am a natural leader, I love being the boss.I sensed that Simon Peanut is an active, confident and loving cat.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. Angela

Angela,
I am so glad you were able to talk with Simon Peanut. He is very wise, confident, and loving. I do love that he had you tell me that he is the facilitator of peace, stabilizing the family unit, to keep everyone calm. Simon Peanut is a calm, even-tempered cat. He is not one to react to any excitement.
I loved your asking him about Little Ricky. They’ve been hanging out together most days and for all day, which I find really interesting.
Thank you again, Angela, for helping him get his voice heard.

I visited with Simon Peanut for the first time today, I sense that he is a calm and self-assured cat, tolerant of but not very outgoing to other cats but very affectionate to his people. That’s all.

Hi Margaret. I had another chat with Simon Peanut and this is what I recorded:
Me: Hello, Would you be able to talk to me now?
Simon Peanut: Yes, yipee, I crave the attention, I have so much to say. As I said before I have an important job and want to be recognized for this. It is quite a responsibility you know, I am like the managing director. It can be quite stressful sometimes and I do feel the pressure. That’s why I need to relax – I want to be given lots of pats as this relaxes me and then I can release my stress. I have to compete with the other animals for attention. Little Ricky gets lots of attention, but I also want to have more attention – pats and being made a fuss of. You see I have the burden of looking after the family so I do need to relax too.
It is so great to have my voice heard, it means so much to me. I feel I am lost in our big family and underestimated at times – but it’s ok, I am very happy in my family but I would just like to be recognized more for the role I play, that’s all. I am very grateful for my lovely home and I love everyone, I don’t want to sound ungrateful. I know I am very lucky, but more pats, more being made a fuss of would be nice, that’s all. It is frustrating when humans don’t know who you truly are but Margaret is a wonderful human to look after us all. We are all very lucky to have her.Me: Have you been talking to Little Ricky about talking to humans?
Simon Peanut: Little Ricky was more anxious than I and was not as keen to do it – but I was anxious to do it. I felt it would be a marvelous opportunity and I have loved it! You people who talk to animals are wonderful, PLEASE carry on.Me: do you have any advice for me on animal communication?
Simon Peanut: Focus, don’t drift and believe in yourself – you’ve got this. Have more practice – I am always ready to help you practice, remember that won’t you.Me: Do you go outside?
Simon Peanut: No I don’t, I would love to but I realize why I can’t. I am an indoor cat, this is my territory.
Thank you so much for talking to me! if you want to help animals this is the best thing you can do.Thanks again Margaret for the opportunity to talk to Simon Peanut. Angela

Thank you, Angela. I appreciate your listening to Simon Peanut especially with regards to his feeling underestimated. He doesn’t give me this impression, so it was good to get your conversation. He is the least of all in our household to seek attention, which I interpreted as his not needing as much. So I am thankful to you for enlightening me!
None of our cats go outside, but I am up for putting a harness on Simon Peanut and trying for a walk in the backyard. It is just too dangerous for cats to be outdoors!
I do hope you will continue to talk with Simon Peanut!

Hi
Many thanks for allowing me to communicate with Simon Peanut, a lovely name and what a character who Is very kind, wise, and quite a gentle soul. Sence he’s an old soul. Calm, adorable but cheeky. Doesn’t seem to be phased by anything. Will sit and observe patiently and wait his turn. He’s a Joker/ teaser which I sensed when first talking to him
I did’t read other students comments prior to communicating with Simon Peanut. Hope something resonates with you. Appreciate the communication may involve lot of symbolism
Simon Peanut trots towards me. His image blurred by Little Rickey’s face up close to mine taking up the ‘screen’ as though he’s’ peeking out from a tv screen to gain a better look at the outside surroundings. I greet him and ask how he is. Somehow I instantly knew when seeing the dog’s face it was Little Ricky. Asked him how he is today.
LR I’m good and nice to see you again. Told him likewise. Meanwhile shown SP standing upright and tall looking at us patiently, then folded his paws across his chest as much to say, when you’ve had enough, I like to say something
LR Can I listen. Tell him it’s up to SP so dances over to SP who shook his shoulders ‘Why not. He gets into everything. Doesn’t want to be left out
LR Glances over to me with such a look on his face. That’s not true. I’m curious
M Little Ricky, can you find a place where you can sit and just listen. LR Okay and trots off
SP Sorry about that. He wants to know everyone’s business. I love him to bits really. SP lies down sprawled out on a dark wooden type of floor. Heard the words the moon is yellow
M. Is there anything you would like to tell me
SP. Now let me think. He’s smiling as though teasing. Tell mum I want more fish
M. What type of fish. SP would like fish in tomato sauce. He’s not sure if he has eaten it before. Told him I had
SP You do, his voice raised in disbelief. What, you eat cat food
M. No. it’s human food, cooked fish, sardines or mackerel covered in either tomato sauce or oil in rows inside a tin/can. It’s very nice. I sometimes have it on toast
SP. I see but I still want some
M. I’ll tell your mum but can’t promise anything.
SP. That’s fine and rolls over on his back then onto his side lying sprawled full length along the floor. Nothing else to tell me or what he’d like his mum could get him
M. Can you tell me what you do during the day
SP Sleep. We cats like our sleep. Why are you humans always awake when we were sleep When we want to have fun, you want to sleep. Briefly explained to SP the reason we humans tend to sleep when our world is dark, without natural light – a long time ago when the earth was dark and we humans went into caves to sleep to give us strength and energy to do the tasks when earth was light so we could see what we were doing
SP. So we’re clever than you as we can be awake or asleep if it’s dark or light
M. Many humans are awake during the dark doing all sorts of things as there is artificial light so they can see what has to be done
SP That’s too complicated. I prefer our way of living, sleep or not, whenever we want, so if it’s light or dark it doesn’t matter
M. Doesn’t matter to you but to humans it does and that’s the way it is
SP. Knew it. We animals are smarter than you go on, say it
M. Animals are smarter than humans but we humans are smarter than animals in many ways.
SP Yeah. In what way. He starts counting on his paws toes. 1) We only hunt and kill for food to feed our families 2) We sleep to recover our energy and strength 3) We are bonded to our families 4) We love and protect one another even those that are weak and those that cannot protect themselves
M Agree. These are noble things you do. Some humans have forgotten these things
SP. One day it will change. We need each other. This is one world for each and every one of us. In all the years the world has existed and humans come into being, you are still learning. You have much and still to learn. The trappings of the life you want, harnessing what nature and animals give you, you are just beginning to learn. Ancestors had learnt to live and learn from nature. Yes some humans still do but seems you humans have to destroy before you learn
M. That’s why we call it ‘Human nature’. To build bigger, better, to sustain the life we want that many want to aspire to
SP. Yes but why do so many of you want to destroy nature and animals for your own advantage
M. Money, greed. Humans have lots of reasons. Many are saying, no, this is all has to stop, to stop nowShown a black screen that lifted to be shown an abundance of nature, streams, trees, beavers making dams, birds flying filling in the skies, sun shining. In the distance, a funnel of soft rain falls. I begin to cry and cannot stop and cannot continue. I thank SP for his time and talking to me.
M. Tell me something so that your mum knows I have been talking to you. I’m shown a hay loft, a woman wearing old blue jeans and a blue check shirt forking hay to another person above who is spreading it about in what appears to be a large barn with large open doors. To the left a couple of stables with horses, one brown, one piebald. A grey tabby style cat slowly meanders around. Shown a kitchen of a house with white ‘cafe’ style net curtains at the window. Oak style dresser with plates on display. Outside at the back of the property appears to be lots of green space, not lawns more like a meadow or paddock with a slow meandering tinkling stream to the left of the kitchen window. Large trees beyondM. Have you a message for mum
SP. Tell her I love her. All is okay. It’s your time now, enjoy it. We are here for you. It’s been tough but you are strong. As buzz lightyear would say ‘Onwards and upwards and beyond affinity’.I thank SP. LR trots over. Eyes sparkling, his nose leads the way. Up close gives me a kiss and says, ‘Tell mum I love her.’ M. I’m crying
SP requests, wrap in green light and I added white and pink light. Wrapped Little Ricky in pink and white light His sparkling button eyes darted everywhere to catch every scene. His big smile brought a smile to my face even though underneath I could still feel the tears and my throat tight with the emotion, which seems to be more of a feeling of being upset
Thankyou for your time and allowing me to communicate with Simon Peanut, such a delight

Wow, Sandy, you got a lot! It is true that LR has a fear of missing out! It is interesting that SP told you that; made me laugh. I really found the “farm” description interesting. We do live in the city, but am lucky enough to live on almost a half-acre on a creek with lots of trees. We don’t have a barn, nor pitch hay, but we do have a large workshop that could look like a barn. I am wondering if that description is from a past life with either me or another. Something to explore. What you describe at the end, wrapping in green, white and pink light, was beautiful, though I am wondering about your feeling of being upset. I am hoping you will communicate again.
Thanks again, Sandy, for communicating with SP and LR. -

Hi
Sorry for delay in replying to your feedback. Life gets in the way at times. Had to deal with a situation with my South African Claw frog and laptop and so on
Many thanks for your feedback – much appreciated.
Glad I got a few things right or similar. Can’t explain the reason of my feelings at end of SP and our communication. Hopefully will check in with SP as soon as possible. Also I receive images that can be symbolic so hopefully check that too
Take care
Sandy

Hi Margaret!
I apologize for writing this so late! I have no excuses other than … life.
Simon, you are a gorgeous magic cat! 😉
I connected with Simon 2 weeks ago during the Q&A call. It may sound familiar to you what I have got, because even during the call I have heard similar statements but, here it is anyway at least for the fun of it, and for Magic Simon 🤗, and maybe a little also for my growth on this path.
I did not read any posts so hopefully there will be something original left… 😄
Anyway, please note that I am a novice and be gentle with me. 🙃
When I connected with Simon I saw him staying as he stays in the picture but with his eyes closed. I thought he was sleeping. I didn’t know what to do, not to startle him, so I decided to wait a little. He must have become aware of me looking at him, as his whiskers started to tremble, and his nose quivered.
He slowly opened his eyes, looked at me, but not exactly scared by my presence as a normal cat would be. Or I think, he was aware that I was connecting at a distance and he was not afraid.
He than stretched his back, he leaned forward on his front paws placing one after the other starting with his right foot, as if getting up after a long sleep. From here I deduct he is a right footer 😊After he finished his stretch he took a standing pose, and I have noticed that he was flaring his nostrils towards me, sniffing the air as if he was trying to get my scent, like getting to know me better, scanning me. When he decided I was no enemy, he approached me in no rush with tail held high and started purring. He scanned with his nose my pants, my shoes, my hands and anything he could reach. While he was busy sniffing, I felt his energy field was great and big. I felt that this Simon cat has something very special about it. While I was watching him with great interest, I realized he was healing me. His purr was low, sending deep vibrations. I sense that he knows that he is special and all he did, he did it on purpose. He knows very well what he wants to do.
I got that he prefers (or maybe would prefer?) to eat more cooked beef and chicken, but in lack he would eat almost anything else.
I than decided to return the favor and offered him some energy healing. As I have scanned him I felt something around the second chakra area. The excretory system. Something with kidneys, or urinary apparatus. According with my notes I have written kidney stones or sand, that maybe with a urine check may be cleared. Nothing serious, but something that maybe should be checked.
Well, that’s where my notes ended.
Looking at Simon Peanut again, I sense that he is a great healer for all the family. I sense that he has a purpose with you, and he appeared in your life for you, to guard and softly heal you.
As an orange Magic cat, he can sometimes prefer solitude but, otherwise he spreads his healing love with joy and keeps socializing in his own terms.
I sense he loves you very much!
Thank you Simon for your healing!
Thank you Margaret for sharing him, and for the opportunity to heal, evolve and grow thanks to Magic Simon!Lots of 💖

Thank you, Lucia! You really understood Simon Peanut, and I love that SP was healing you when you reached out to him. It is so true that he is does prefer solitude, and he does socialize on his own terms. Thank you for the energy healing and for the info regarding his kidneys. We’ll check again.
Thank you again, Lucia, for communicating with SP. I hope you take the opportunity to reach out again.

Hi Margaret,
Simon Peanut feels so curious and playful to me! He has an open, honest and excited heart, ready to watch and learn from everything!
He loves to chase things, watch others, interaction/mingle socially, playing, cuddling, to have fun and make you laugh –
to make biscuits on your knees.. He can even be impatient sometimes. He loves life.
He tells me life is all about discovery. We cannot sit still. We need more fun in our lives. He does not go outside. He is not a fan about his food? He prefers dry food – it gives him more energy than wet food – but it seems a bit tasteless.
I ask him about you – I get a feeling of being a bit held back or introverted, like something might be troubling you or that you do not understand and watch from a distance. Simon Peanut says it will be fine, that you need to trust on that. You need to keep laughing and he is ready to help you with that 🙂
His role is to cheer you up, make you laugh, encourage you to be playful and child-like.Physically my attention goes to his throat – maybe hairballs? which may cause him to breathe less easily.
And to his lower back – he feels a bit stiff there and sometimes a bit painful. It would be nice for him for you to lay your hands on him with warmth or healing.Thank you Simon Peanut and Margaret, much love to you both 🙂

Thank you, Mascha. You definitely “got” Simon Peanut. And thank you for his thoughts on me. I am an introvert. No troubles, but I am reserved and cautious. I will trust Simon Peanut. And I do laugh!! And thanks for the insight on his lower back.

Hi Margaret,
Thanks for allowing me to communicate with Simon Peanut, and sorry for this delay in posting, due to some pressing issues. I’ve not looked at any of the earlier responses, so as to remain objective, as I am still a novice.Simon came through as a vibrant personality, yet very gentle and an old and wise teacher.
He is warm to the touch, and the fur feels smooth and satiny. I could sense a soft purr and rhythmic breathing. He stands with his tail arched upwards, and there are flashes of green and yellow in his aura.
Is there a slight niggle in his right shoulder? I see a white bowl with something blue, like lines/flowers on it….does this belong to him or another pet?
He has enjoyed being FAT and talking to everyone, but doesn’t like being overwhelmed.
I hope some of this makes sense…..thanks again and love and blessings to both of you.

Thank you, Nita! Simon is very gentle, sometimes impy, and has very soft, smooth fur. I love the image of the bowl. Little Ricky and Lucy each have a bowl as you have described. I am so glad he has enjoyed being FAT.

Hi Margaret. I had another chat with Simon Peanut and this is what I recorded:
Me: How are you?
Simon Peanut: I am wonderful. It has been wonderful this month. I have released all my stress. I have enjoyed the experience so much. You humans are wonderful, I wish it could go on forever. You are helping me and all the other animals. I will be sad when you go but I will always be here for you, don’t forget that, we are bonded now. Thank you for helping me to let Margaret know who I really am, my true self. This was very important to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it has been an amazing experience for me. I hope it continues, I can be your mentor if you like. I am always talking to Margaret, I love her so much.Me: What do you love to eat?
Simon Peanut: Anything and everything. I am a big eater. I am active but eating is one of my greatest pleasures. I love crunchie biscuits, crunch, crunch, crunch. I could eat them all day, round, brown crunchie biscuits.Me: Do you have a favorite toy?
Simon Peanut: A brown felt mouse that I bat and hit along the ground and up into the air. The mouse has a long tail with something inside it (catnip?)- it makes me go wild. We have lots of toys as we are all indoor cats. Margaret buys lots of things for us, she is lovely like that and looks after us SO well. Lucky us.Me: What is your favorite activity?
Simon Peanut: My favorite activity is organizing the family, my duty – and chilling, watching over everyone, just hanging out, observing, summing everyone up, watching over my flock, my team. Also I love to get up high, roam around the kitchen looking for my crunchie biscuits. I like to spring out and give Margaret a shock Ha Ha. I can be naughty like that, I can’t be on duty all the time, it’s fun. I, like all cats, like to play tricks on my human, it amuses me – I can be mischievous, what a laugh.Me: Where do you sleep at night?
Simon Peanut: In my cat bed, I snuggle in. It is my special safe place. There are other animals who are in the same room. We all sleep and snore together. We are very content and feel very safe together and I can keep an eye on everyone. I am never really totally off duty.Me: Thank you for talking to me.
Simon Peanut: It’s been magical talking to you. I hope you go on to help many animals. Just believe in yourself. I am always here for you, just a thought away. Do not give up. Go in peace, be happy.Thank you Margaret for the chance to talk to your wonderful cat. All the best. Angela

Thank you for sharing your sweet Simon Peanut with us!
My first impression is that he is sweet, gentle, curious and very observant. He will watch for a while before jumping into an activity. When he was younger he would jump into play with any activity but now, with wisdom and maturity, he has discriminating taste and is more selective with what he decides to participate in. He showed him playing with a dangled piece of string/yarn and being somewhat interested in a reddish piece but very involved, to the point of being tangled up in, a white piece.
He said that he is a little bit older and doesn’t feel quite as spry and agile as when he was younger and that he has a rare ache or pain from arthritis but really not much to mention. He said that overall, he feels pretty good and is happy. He is also content, very content. He said that he doesn’t need to throw his body all around and into the silliness of youth. I asked his age and I received 9 yo, which seemed a bit young for the sense I got from him. Maybe that means that he thinks he’s younger than he is – never a bad thing!
What is your favorite food? I saw a bowl with white chunks of chicken or tuna. I asked for clarification and got the scent that it was chicken. It looked like what comes from a can of human canned chicken. He said that he loves the juice that comes with it.
Favorite Toy? I saw a stuffed fabric mouse.
Favorite place? He showed me lying on the back of a couch or chair by the window. He loves the feel of sunshine on his fur. He also enjoys watching the world outside (especially birds) when he is not sleeping.
I asked about a favorite friend and I got a very quick flash of a tweety bird that he likes to be near or watch.
What are your favorite moments? He showed me an image of him sprawled out, on your lap or on the couch, and being pet all over especially his back and belly but also his limbs and ears. He also showed me his nose being outlined and kissed. He said he LOVES these moments and they are very relaxing for both you and him.
Is there anything you want me to let Margaret know so that she knows we connected? Yes, I want her to know that I love her. He also showed me something, I believe it was a toy, that looked like a blue bird.or, it was blue and bird or plane shaped. It sounded like it was made of paper. He showed me him lying on his back and flipping it around and playing with it.Do you have an important message for Margaret? Thank you for taking such good care of me and loving me so much.
I got the sense that he has a sore area on his belly. It seemed more like a bruise, sore muscle or tender spot. He said it should heal.
He also said that he likes cold fresh water in his silver water bowl. It’s warm now so the water gets yucky faster ie. it warms up and collects debris quicker. I took this as a gentle request that the water be changed more frequently.
Lastly I got an image of him chasing after things like strings and dangly toys and the impression that he really enjoys doing that. I also got the sense that he is very sweet and will rub against legs and mush his face to yours (I felt him do it to me) and that he would do it a lot if he could.-

Laurie,
You got a lot from Simon Peanut. As a kitten he was all over the place, creating all kinds of games. Now that he is much older (I think you’re correct that he thinks he is younger than he really is.) he is more sedate, but he does have his moments. He loves being brushed/combed/petted; he asks me to brush/comb/pet his back, neck and chin several times a day. I’m not sure about seeing birds but it is likely that he hears them. There is a toy that all the cats like that is a paper tube with a small fabric mouse (filled with catnip) tethered inside. The tube is blue, and all the cats love playing with it. Simon Peanut loves most food, but he does love his chicken and salmon cat food, especially the juicy kind. He is a very sweet, loving cat. He does have a silver water bowl, but the dogs also will use it. I do change it at least twice a day, but perhaps I need to change more frequently, especially since the dogs are using!!
Thank you again for your insights. -
