Martha has volunteered to host her cat Hawkeye as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). I am sure you will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold members will have an opportunity to connect with Hawkeye along with Val on the next Q&A call Saturday, June 9. We encourage all of you to connect with Hawkeye now and through the month.
Tune into Hawkeye first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Hawkeye feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Hawkeye ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Have fun!
Many thanks to Martha for offering to host Hawkeye as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Martha and Hawkeye sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

Hello Martha,
Thank you for offering to host Howkeye to be our teacher!
I just spent few minutes this morning to say hi. He has warm energy. He felt calm for a moment but then he showed me him jumping around like almost avoiding a mouse that is running around the floor. I asked what it is. I don’t think he knows what it is for sure. He showed me some sort of light coming toward him and that startles him so he jumps. He is not too fan of that. It’d be great if you could shed light on what he showed me here.
He also showed me some sort of green blob that he is sitting next to. He is not guarding it but he is fond of it and when I take it away from him, he feels uninflated a bit. He likes to be near it and makes him comfortable.
I wonder if these make any sense to you?
Thanks,
Chigusa -

Hello Chigusa,
You’re right on about Hawkeye having warm energy! He has warm energy and is very loving. He is also a fairly calm cat. He does sometimes get a bit rowdy and wound up though. That’s when he’s full of energy! A side note: He’s in his resting/napping time at the moment and after I wrote, “That’s when he’s full of energy!,” he lifted his head for a few seconds and then put it down!As for him running around in response to a light, I’m not sure what that is. When he showed you him running around in response to the light, did he show you as it was happening? Was he doing that earlier this morning?
As for the green blob, I think he might be talking about the pillow on the couch. He spends time on the kitty condo that is next to the couch and not far from the pillow. Where the green is coming from is the pillow case I think. The pillow case is currently green (and was this morning). It’s the one I sleep with (I sleep on the couch), so that might be why he likes it so much. I didn’t realize though he likes it as much as he does! Does he like it because it’s the one I sleep with and because it smells like me?
Thank you for connecting with him and letting me know these things. I’d love to “hear” more about why he likes the pillow so much. I’m also interested in what the light is that he doesn’t like. If you could ask him and let me know that’d be nice, particularly for the light so I can perhaps do something about the light he doesn’t like.
Great work, Chigusa! I look forward to hearing more!

Hello Martha,
I followed up with Hawkeye this morning.
I’m still trying to lean the art of asking questions, so I’d be interested to find out what you think.
As to the response to light, I am not conclusive on whether or not he actually physically does that or just his feeling. Or perhaps that happened in the past but not happening now… When he showed him jumping, I did get much more feeling.I got a sense that he may have been talking about vacuum cleaner there. Though funny thing is that he tells me it is a cat as well?? I’m wondering your vacuum cleaner somehow resembles cat to his eyes either physically or the way it moves? I’m guessing it either has a light or maybe it is a bit shiny so he thinks it is a light coming to him? I am getting the sense that he doesn’t stay around when you vacuum, though, perhaps he walks away? I’m not really confident on this one and curious to hear your feedback so I can ask him again if this is totally off…
As to the pillow, I don’t think I am explaining the concept of smell and you sleeping very well to get an answer, but he likes it because it is soft.
Thanks,
Chigusa -

Hi Chigusa,
In regards to the vacuum cleaner, you’re right he doesn’t like it! He doesn’t like it at all! The vacuum cleaner is almost like two parts…one part has the bag, the cord, the button to wind up the cord and the button to turn it on and off. It’s also red. Then there’s a tube that connects the red part and the other part that vacuums up the dirt, dust, hair, etc. The red part does have a part that lights up orange. I’m not sure about the vacuum moving like a cat.
I got to thinking later on the day of your first message. I wonder if maybe he was referring to the first (and only time) I’ve played with him and Serenity since I adopted him with the laser toy. Could it be that that he’s referring to? He didn’t seem real interested in it from what I remember and it let out a red light to created the red dot.In regards to the pillow, that makes a lot of sense. It is soft and he does lie on it a lot. Sometimes it’s almost as if it’s his pillow!
Great work with the pillow! I’m interested in the other part you mentioned. Could it be the laser red dot toy?

Hi, Martha,
During our Q&A call today, I got another interesting info I wanted to pass onto you to see if something rings a bell.
At first, when I tried to connect with Hawkeye, I literally got a busy signal. 🙂 I waited a while and he said to wait a moment. I think he was quite busy talking with many other people, perhaps. Then I got my turn.
His energy felt red to me. I tried to follow up with the light and vacuum cleaner but he showed me another image of him eating a bird! I tried to get clarification with him because I don’t think he is a kind of cat that catches and eats bird. Also, I didn’t feel any bad energy from it. I think what he was showing is some sort of feathery toy that he likes to grab with both paws and maybe pounce on it with paws and use mouth when he does that. I think it looked like a live bird to me when he showed it to me. Does he play with something like that??
The other interesting communication was when during Q&A, Val was talking with Serenity. I followed along with Val and I got a “Yes” answer about him being the culprit, but I think I was still connected with Hawkeye. When Val said she was still connected with Hawkeye, I realized I was doing the same but I just didn’t realize that. Good take away from today’s class for me.
I got the same info as Val got about not wanting to go into the litter box. I didn’t get about the smell, but I got something about he didn’t like something in the litter box that was green. Something chemical, maybe? Did you temporarily use different cat litters when he pooed outside? I felt he didn’t like something about that…
I still need to follow up with Hawkeye about the laser, but I did think about that when he first showed me lights and I dismissed it and didn’t dig deeper because I felt “well, that’s too obvious.” Well, my ego talking that prevented me getting clarification, I guess. 🙂
Thank you for letting me have very intriguing conversations with Hawkeye! I think he is doing very good job helping me where I need practice and really appreciate that!!
Thanks, Chigusa

Hi Chigusa!
When you say you got a busy signal, I’m curious how that works. Did you hear it? Did Hawkeye send it to you? They have a lot of toys. They have one with feathers that used to be part of a wand toy until Hawkeye chewed the string off. Now it’s just a feather toy and he plays with it and carries it in his mouth when it’s out on the floor and also uses both paws to play with it! When I vacuum I pick the toys up and usually put the feather toy in the play cubes (two are red). Lately though when I vacuum I forget to put the toys I put in the play cubes back on the floor.
There is also another toy that’s mostly red that says, “Dynamite” on it and has catnip in it! It’s an old toy now and might not smell like catnip anymore.Lately there have birds that hang come and perch themselves on top of the bamboo “fence” I have on the balcony to keep the cats on the balcony so they won’t go into the outside world!
Do you think he was referring to any of those?
As for him not eating birds, you’re right! He doesn’t eat birds.
That’s awesome you were connecting with Hawkeye when asking him if he pooped outside the litter box and you didn’t even know you were doing it! That’s so cool!
In regards to the cat litter, about a month to a month and a half ago I started using a grass seed cat litter (it’s made from grass seed I think, but it’s a tan color) in with the usual cat litter. On the package it says it’s 99% dust free and doesn’t have any added chemicals. He only pooped outside the litter box that one time. I am planning to switch them to grass/grass seed cat litter completely soon. I hope they will approve!
As I sit here thinking about it, I wonder if perhaps he didn’t want to poop inside the litter box because maybe there wasn’t enough available litter to cover the poop. He likes to cover his poop and pee clumps. As for the red laser dot toy, it could have been your ego butting in. It’s easy for the ego to come into the picture!
I’m glad Hawkeye is helping you with your skills and is letting you practice with him! You’re doing well. Feel free to communicate with him whenever you two want!

Hello Martha!
Thank you for your continued support!
Re: busy signal. I received it as just knowing and busy signal was what best described what I received in human terms. I did not hear signal or nothing like that.
When I communicate with animals about a same topic multiple times, I get this “I’m done talking about that” sort of block and I’m running into those with Hawkeye. Though I think part of it is my ego telling me I cannot get more info that blocks me so I will try to push forward but I did something different today because of this blockage and I still wanted to continue the conversation with your wonderful Hawkeye.
BTW, curious how your litter box situation is going? I felt the new cat litter feels soft to Hawkeye. I didn’t get the sense it is good or bad but that’s what I felt. Mount of soft stuff under his feet.
Because of the Q&A call, I was curious about the relationship between Hawkeye and Serenity. The reason was that I had 2 dogs who never got along physically but I knew they were connected spiritually and were helping me and my husband on their own terms. One passed away recently so the problem is no longer there and we never really were able to get that resolved, but we learned to live with them to avoid conflicts.
Anyhow, I was asking Hawkeye what he feels about her and he was hinting me to connect with Serenity. It sounded like you had mentioned her in the past so I was looking for her picture in forum but couldn’t find one. Is she a dark colored cat? Since I wasn’t sure about connecting with Serenity without your permission, all I did was to feel her energy to get the sense of relationship between Hawkeye and Serenity and this is what I got. I felt that she is the shy one and Hawkeye is more of a confident and pushy one of the two. And I got the sense that those two are representing/mirroring two sides of you, one confident one that is wanting to come out and the other shy one that is fighting not to. Does it resonate with you somehow?
Thanks,
Chigusa

Thank you Martha for giving us the privilege to listen and learn from Hawkeye this month. I tried to communicate with him but he was a bit reserved and wanted to keep at a distance. He told wanted me to try again at a later time and that he wanted to know more about me before he opens up. That surprised me so I am sure it will be an interesting conversation when we have our next communication.

Hi Jo,
I wonder why he was reserved and asked you to come back later. He didn’t talk much with you the first time you communicated with him either. He said, “Are you talking to me?,” if I remember correctly. Was he busy doing something at the time you communicated with him the most recent time? -

Hi Chigusa!
That’s interesting about the busy signal and how you translate it into human terms! I understand about the “just knowing” thing…I’m like that, too.You asked about the litter box situation. The new cat litter is very soft and I can see where it would feel soft under the feet. I like it a lot better than the other kind I bought for them. I think they both like the smell of it, too!
Them mirroring me makes sense. I have a shy side and I have the side where I want to open up more and be friendlier more. That’s interesting Hawkeye said for you to connect with Serenity.
I’d love for you to connect with Serenity! Some of her is dark. I’ll attached a picture of Serenity so you can see what she looks like and communicate with her if you’d like. If you communicate with her, I’d love to know what she says 🙂

Hello Martha!
I connected with Serenity this morning. Thank you for giving me permission to connect. She had a lot of interesting things to share…
She showed me 3 “modes?”(hot sure how to name it)
First one is color green. It is something flat and she sits on it to be on the lookout. She is calm but she is on alert and in sitting position. This mode is her curiosity.
Second is color blue. It is sort of a box that is about size of her head that she puts her head inside. She feels calm, still, relaxed, sort of the world goes away and is in her zone. This mode is more of a intellectual, learning, sort of. If she was a human, I’d have associated this with books.
Third is on top of you chest. She likes to lay on top of your chest and that makes her happy? I saw her curled up and feeling of love.
Does any of these make any sense to you? I feel that the box is more of a metaphore…I also asked her about her relationship with Hawkeye. It almost felt like she doesn’t acknowledge him as being there for the most time. I felt, spiritually, they get along well, but physically, it felt like Hawkeye sometimes pushes her button and Serenity cannot tolerate it anymore. But for the most part, it felt like she keeps her distance and it is fine.
Let me know if there is something that resonate with you that I should follow up with Serenity or Hawkeye to dig deeper on.
Please thank both Hawkeye and Serenity for me and give them a very long stroke along their bodies. 🙂
Thanks, Chigusa

Hi Martha, I connected with Hawkeye briefly to introduce myself and ask if we can talk tomorrow. He said OK.
Is he around 3 yrs old? His energy feels light and joyful to me. I got that when he plays he can be rambunctious
but if he doesn’t know you he is very shy. I asked him if he has a message for his mom he perked up and said
Yes, tell her she is doing much better than she realizes and to be patient and let it come. I look forward to my next conversation with Hawkeye.-

Hi Chigusa! In regards to her “modes”, I currently have two pillows that each have a green pillow case on them. One is currently on the floor. Serenity has gotten on one of them before, but I’m not aware of her spending much time on them. I also have a green towel that gets rotated with other towels that go in her carrier. There are times where she spends time in the carriers and on the green towel when it’s the towel in the carrier. Sometimes she’ll be calm and on the look out. Other times she’s sleeping/resting. I think the carrier with the green towel (when that’s the towel in the carrier) is what she was referring to when she was telling you about green.
As for the blue box, until recently I had a shoe box that was mostly blue. I had it on the floor for the cats. I threw it out though recently because it didn’t seem like it was used much by the cats. I hope I didn’t do the wrong thing by throwing it out!
Until recently I didn’t really have a chest. I got one a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t seen her spend much time on it, but I have seen her on it I think as well as another chest type piece of furniture. I’m not aware of either cat curling up on it, but they do explore on it and Hawkeye stretches out on it when I’m scooping the bedroom litter box. I wonder if maybe when you were talking with Serenity about the chest if Hawkeye joined the conversation. lol.
It’d be interesting to know more about Serenity’s “modes” you mentioned.
As for the next part you said, “‘I also asked her about her relationship with Hawkeye. It almost felt like she doesn’t acknowledge him as being there for the most time. I felt, spiritually, they get along well, but physically, it felt like Hawkeye sometimes pushes her button and Serenity cannot tolerate it anymore. But for the most part, it felt like she keeps her distance and it is fine,'” she seems to not really acknowledge Hawkeye as being there most of the time. I’m glad to know they get along spiritually. Sometimes Hawkeye does push her buttons or irritate or annoy Serenity or simply do things she doesn’t want him to do or doesn’t like (it’s not a constant thing like this though) it seems as well as sometimes startle her. I’m glad to know that it’s fine though. With the new furniture and the layout of the furniture being different, that seems to have brought in a new energy and that seems to have affected their relationship a bit in a good way.
I’m curious, when you connect with Serenity, did she recognize you from when you connected with her back in April?

Hello Martha,
Since this is end of month, I wanted to connect with both Serenity and Hawkeye to thank them for wonderful conversation we had. I hope I could check back with them occasionally it is OK with you.
Did I connect with Serenity in April? I don’t remember doing so but I didn’t start doing journaling until recently (even then, I am still terrible at them) so it is possible I did…
Serenity felt very “bubbly” today. I felt she was very happy I communicated with her because she felt a lot of attention was going to Hawkeye.
As to modes, I feel the green towel feels right to me. As to blue box, as I mentioned, I felt it was more of a metaphor and I continue to feel that way. Today, I felt like it is an environment where she feels secluded from the world and it feels good to hide there sometimes. Does Serenity have such a space? If she does, I think she wants that be safe and kept for her.
It is interesting that you thought chest was chest of drawer! I meant it to be chest as with your body. I thought maybe Serenity meant the chest of drawer so I checked and I still felt it is your chest (body). She had no particular feeling to the chest (furniture) and it was just neutral feeling.
I also connected with Hawkeye to thank him. His energy felt rounded and happier than before. I felt he benefited a lot from this month and I feel he became more rounded because of that, whatever it means…
It was very nice to see both of their energy very warm and rounded. I really thank both of them and especially, you, Martha for giving us great feedback and encouragements. It is very important for us to be able to validate and adjust our communication and I really thank you for taking time to do that for us!
Thanks,

Hello Chigusa,
Thank you for all the connections you’ve had with Serenity and Hawkeye. I would love for you to connect with them any time you’re interested and one or both of them is interested. As for connecting with Serenity in April, I think you did. She hurt herself in April and I reached out to the Animal Talk Coaching Club on Facebook to help her. You did some healing work. I am so grateful to you for what you did for Serenity then as it really helped her in combination with the other healing work that was done from one or two other people in the Club. She got fully better shortly after the healing work and shortly after the healing work was also out of pain I believe. The veterinarian said he didn’t see anything wrong with her either when I took her to the vet office to be examined. So, thank you so very much, Chigusa. I don’t even know the right words to fully express my gratitude.
Thank you, too, for talking to Serenity when she felt like a lot of attention was going to Hawkeye. I appreciate that. Hopefully she gets chose to be the FAT soon!
I worry, too, that Hawkeye isn’t the right kitty for Serenity because of how he is so clingy to me. Serenity isn’t a clingy girl, but I worry that Hawkeye being so clingy to me isn’t good for her and that it takes away from time just for her and me being alone together when she wants that time. I worry, too, that when Serenity hangs out under the futon to have time to herself I think, and at times center herself, Hawkeye bothers Serenity when he’s on the other side of the futon cover that drapes down tot he floor and is there. I worry, too, that other things Hawkeye does make him not the right kitty for Serenity. Val said that, “they’re working it out,” when it comes to living together. I’ve considered returning Hawkeye to the rescue I adopted him from, but I don’t feel that’s right for him. I wish Hawkeye could be less clingy and change some of the things he does so he’s right for Serenity. I of course want what is best for Hawkeye, but I also want what is best for Serenity. Serenity is one of my best friends and one of my soul mates. I love her infinitely for eternity.
That’s good to know about the green towel. I think it’s more the carrier that she likes than that specific towel. I think she likes all the towels I put in the carriers. Maybe the green towel came to her mind first. You asked about if Serenity has a place where she feels secluded from the world. Yes, she does! At one point those places were under the bed and under the futon. I recently got a new bed and the delivery people have yet to put it together. So, the secluded spot now is the one under the futon. I think she goes there to be by herself and maybe to center herself, as I mentioned earlier in this reply. As I said though, I worry about Hawkeye interfering with Serenity’s time to herself and centering herself time when he hangs out on the other side of the futon cover.
As for Serenity liking my chest (body), she hasn’t spent much time near my chest (body). She doesn’t care for me picking her up and holding her against my chest. She has gotten near my upper body, not a lot though, while I was lying down before. I hope that if I start sleeping on the new bed that she’ll lie near me on the bed. I think she might. What did she say she likes about being near my chest (body)?
As for Hawkeye’s energy feeling happier, that’s great! I think he enjoyed talking with people, helping them, giving them advice, and sharing his wisdom. As for the rounded part, I’m not entirely sure about what that means. Maybe it’s like being a well rounded person???? Whatever the case, it sounds great! LOL!
I’m happy to hear that they both had warm energy when you connected with them 🙂
You’re more than welcome for the feedback! I understand completely of how important feedback is. I also want to thank you again for connecting with my kitties and, even though I don’t have the words for expressing my gratitude for it, thank you for the healing work you did on Serenity in April.
You’re also more than welcome to connect with Serenity and Hawkeye any time you want and one or both is also interested in connecting with you. As long as I’m aware you connected with either or both kitties, I’ll most certainly give you feedback.
Hugs to you!
Martha -

Hello Martha,
Yes, I now remember connecting with Serenity! Perhaps because we connected previously, she jumped into letting me know seemingly “personal” information right away without much of an introduction. I should keep that in mind when I encounter an animal that I connected before and see if that might be the case!
As to Hawkeye, I totally understand what you are going through. I had two dogs until one passed away recently. They never got along, they tolerated each other. It escalated pretty badly to a point where older dog had to go to emergency room due to a conflict. We eventually learned how to avoid the situation and we are glad we didn’t let go of either one because they were both here to be part of our lives in their own reason. I also believe them being in conflict was somehow a lesson for us, though I don’t know what that might have been… Perhaps I will find out eventually, that’ll be fun to find out. 🙂
Maybe the chest thing was a metaphor, too? Like your heart space? Isn’t that beautiful if it is? So I choose to believe it is. 🙂
I’ve let them know that they are welcome to knock on my door whenever they want to chat with me as well and/or they have something to relay to you!
See you around in the club circle!

Hi Chigusa,
First of all, I want to offer my sincere apologies for my delayed reply. I hope you accept it.Yes, perhaps Serenity felt comfortable sharing with you seemingly “personal” things since you two had connected in April. You weren’t a stranger to her.
I’m glad someone understands me! I’m sorry, too, about your dog passing on. He/she is only gone in physical form though and you can still connect with him/her. His/her soul is onto its next journey and that’s beautiful. As for my cats, neither of them will ever get violent with each other. I’m thankful for that! In regards to your dogs having fought and it being a lesson for you, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case. Once you find out the lesson, it’ll probably all make sense! 🙂
If the chest was a metaphor, like my heart space, yes, that is beautiful! Very beautiful! I choose to believe it’s a metaphor, too 🙂
Thank you for welcoming them communicating with you whenever they want! That’s so sweet and very kind of you! I hope they do!
Yes, see you in the club circle!

Hi Alicia,
He just turned 2 years old. His birthday is June 4th! As for his energy, yes! It is definitely light and joyful! When he plays he is very rambunctious. Yes, he is also shy when he doesn’t know someone. He hides. Recently a lady came to get some items I wanted to donate to a rescue’s sanctuary and to the rescue’s yearly yard sale. Hawkeye hid when the lady was here, but he also came out after a bit and let her pet him. I don’t have people over much (and haven’t ever to entertain), but I think Hawkeye would be shy and hide, but later on come out to check the person out due to curiosity. Thank you for delivering the message to me! That makes me feel good 🙂 It really means a lot to get messages about animal communication from animals themselves! I also look forward to your next conversation with Hawkeye!
Also, give Tina a kiss for me! -

Conversation with Hawkeye
Hawkeye is talkative today. He says he has a purpose with you to further your journey in communication. He says he is an excellent teacher and he is aware there are issues with the other cat. He says she is territorial and she has been there longer and there is friction between them. I asked if he can make an effort to have less conflict with her. He said he would. He is grateful for the opportunity to mentor us and he has a lot to teach. I said cats are very intelligent and he said yes we are. I asked if he has a message for his mom and he said tell her I love her and am excited for this adventure. I paused to write what he said and when I attempted to reconnect he said, “yes, yes I am still here I have been waiting for you.” Lol.
He has a youthful and wise energy.
I gave Tina a kiss for you. She sends her love. ❤️ -

I tried to connect with Hawkeye during today’s Q&A but kept getting the face of a baby lion with round ears coming between us. No clue why. i really wanted to talk with Hawkeye!

Hi Alicia!
I’m glad Hawkeye was talkative during the Q & A Call today. That’s interesting he has a purpose with me to further my journey in communication. I didn’t realize he has that purpose, too. Maybe Serenity also has that purpose.Serenity has been here longer than Hawkeye has. I recall a time when Serenity was being territorial and possibly another time or two, but I’m not sure. Maybe Hawkeye senses more territorialness than I’m aware of. Sometimes he is a bit mean to Serenity which makes me worry.
I can see where at times there is friction between them. Thank you for asking him to make an effort to have less conflict with Serenity. I really appreciate that 🙂
I believe he has a lot to teach, too, and can see where he’d say that he’s grateful for the opportunity to mentor you all. He’s a grateful kitty. I think he is wise from his heart (not through old age). So, yes, he has a youthful and wise energy—that’s a good way to describe his energy.
As for him agreeing that cats are wise, that’s funny!
Thank you for passing the message to me about him saying he loves me and is excited for this adventure 🙂
That’s so funny when he said he had been waiting for you when you came back from writing! That makes me laugh!
As for Tina sending her love, awwwwwww! Love to her, too!

Hi Claire!
I don’t know what the face of a baby lion with round ears coming between you and Hawkeye was all about. Do you think you can ask him? I’m curious about it!

During today’s Q&A I connected with Hawkeye and I got that he is a very alert, wise and confident cat. He is happy to be our featured animal teacher of the month and he said he is ready to teach us about confidence.

Hi Ana!
Yes, Hawkeye is a very alert cat! He also is wise–in a youthful way (not from old age). In regards to him being confident, he is confident all the time I think! When he has confidence when jumping up onto the counter and then misses, he waits a bit and jumps again. He’s always confident and doesn’t let anything break his confidence! I think he’d make a great athlete!I’m not surprised he’s ready to teach us about confidence as he is extraordinarily confident himself!
Great job on connecting with him!

I love the photo of Hawkeye (also loved the photos of Binky, Novia, and Tina). He’s poised and confident and seems Mr. Serenity himself. This is my first attempt with a FAT and first using steps 1-5: attunement, breath synchrony, giving and receiving, merging hearts and minds, and re-cognizing each other. But it was only 6:00-6:08 pm DCST, and then I lost focus.
Hawkeye seemed to say he was available and, when I asked how he was feeling, he said full because he’d just eaten. Canned or kibble?, I asked. Both, he said.
How did you meet Martha? Yesterday, during the FAT contact session, I had the impression of a cat walking with a woman with bare legs below the knee. Today, there seemed to be other cats in the picture–shelter cats in an open space and not confined to kennels. That addition may have been because you mentioned donating supplies to a shelter and because a picture of the shelter where I adopted my male cat came to me. No reply to my question about where he had lived before.
Hawkeye said we could meet again and we bumped foreheads. Oh, am I just making all this up?

Hi Carol!
Where is DCST? What time would it have been in the Pacific time zone?Hawkeye used to eat canned and dry food. He now eats only canned food as far as cat food goes.
You’re right on about him having been in a sanctuary situation. He was in a cat sanctuary briefly before going to the rescue’s enclosures at a Petsmart. Before the rescue got him I think he had been at a kill shelter.
I look forward to hearing more about your talks with Hawkeye! I’m also interested in what tie you talked with him to see if it’s a time when maybe I fed him.

I was abbreviating Daylight Central Standard Time, but I guess now that’s not a standard abbreviation. We live in Waco, Texas.
Were you or a woman around you wearing pants that ended around the knee when you adopted Hawkeye? The image was only of one pair of lower female legs walking, a floor, and a cat but I didn’t see any particular colors for any of these elements.
Distinct from the image, I saw or felt a light red color around Hawkeye.
I’ll try again later today or this week. Thank you for your feedback!

Hi Carol,
When I adopted Hawkeye there were two other women at the Petsmart enclosure. I was wearing pants so my legs were fully covered. I don’t remember if the other two women were wearing anything that showed their legs. I adopted Hawkeye in October and it’s still warm here in October. It’s possible one or both of them were wearing bottoms that showed their legs.I didn’t recall a light red color when I adopted Hawkeye. Howeverm I looked at the picture the adoption counselor took of Hawkeye and me when I adopted him and there was a red cabinet or something that I put Hawkeye in the carrier on for the adoption counselor to take our picture!!
I wonder why he gave you the red image.
Good work!

Hi Martha, I connected with Hawkeye and he had a few things to say. He told me how wonderful certainty is and that us humans should practice that by believing in ourselves. He also said be confident in who you are, stand tall and be sure to take lots of cat naps. He also said that stretching is very important and it helps to reduce stress and anxiety. He loves to listen to what is going on when you think he is sleeping. I loved talking with Hawkeye and will come back for more wisdom, advice and smiles. Thank you for sharing him with us this month. Lots of hugs, Jo

Hi Jo,
Thanks for coming back and talking with Hawkeye. I’m happy he was more talkative this time. As the saying goes, “Third time’s a charm!”.I love the wisdom Hawkeye shared with you! That part about taking lots of cat naps is so cute! Cats are experts at taking cat naps 🙂
It makes sense what he said about standing tall, believing in oneself, and being confident. He definitely does those things. Even when he occasionally falls when jumping up onto the counter, he still believes in himself, stands tall, and is confident in himself! He doesn’t let failures stop him 🙂
That’s hilarious that he loves to listen to what’s going on when I think he’s sleeping. What a funny guy! I wonder what he thinks. I don’t do much that’s exciting, but I guess he still likes it!
Please do come back and talk with Hawkeye any time you both want to!
Hugs,
Martha/Marty -

Hi Martha, Thank you so much for the feedback. I had to come back to Hawkeye to tell him how his wise words gave me the courage to reach out and use some healing techniques. I moved forward and “stretched” myself with certainty and confidence. In my conversation with Hawkeye he communicated that he is feeling very confident and extremely important being able to talk to all of us. I asked him about how he said he listens to you when you think he is sleeping and he said that everything you do matters to him and he doesn’t want to miss a thing. Lots of love and hugs…Jo

Hi Jo! I’m sure Hawkeye felt good when you told him about his wise words helping you to become more confident and reach out with healing techniques. I think that’s great you did that and that he helped you be able to do that! As for feeling important and confident from the people talking to him, who wouldn’t feel important 🙂
That’s so sweet that everything I do is important to Hawkeye and that he doesn’t want to miss anything! Thank you for telling me that!
Feel free to talk to him anytime you both want to. I enjoy you telling me about your conversations with him 🙂

Hi Martha,
I tried to connect with Hawkeye from 11:20 to 11:30 am today, Th 6/14 Central Daylight Time (what a howler before: of course Central Time can’t be simultaneously Daylight and Standard!).
It seemed when I greeted Hawkeye, he stood up and stretched. I asked if he slept in bed with you. I may have communicated that my six cats come and go during the night; there’s usually two or three with me most of the night. What I seemed to get was that he likes to sleep near your head because he likes your hair. I said one of my cats, Madeleine Claire, who has long since passed, used to bite my hair off–enough so that my hairdresser thought the bitten-off strands were actually new growth. Also got that Serendipity sleeps at the foot of the mattress.
Hawkeye said he was happy living with you and liked taking care of you.
-
06/14/2018 at 8:41 pm #51301Martha BreedingPlatinum Member
Hi Carol,
That’s so funny about Madeleine Claire biting off your hair! Haha! When I was growing up we had a cat who liked to chew my aunt’s hair!Hawkeye sometimes sleeps with me. I sleep on the couch and he sometimes sleeps along my back. Where he sleeps when I’m sleeping and don’t wake up is something I’m not sure about. Until last night (which was the first night with the new furniture), sometimes woke up in the morning and Serenity was on top of the kitty condo by my head. With the old couch, at times they would be on the couch cushion and be near my feet or Hawkeye would sometimes be near my head.
I hope Serenity will sleep on the new bed with me. It’s not ready yet though to sleep in.
I wouldn’t be surprised if around the time you talked with Hawkeye if he got up and stretched.
I’m happy he’s happy living with me. That’s sweet he likes taking care of me. It’s funny he thinks of it that way, but in terms of things outside of food/bathing/etc. that I do for myself, he does help take care of me 🙂

I asked about his kitchen and eating arrangement. I saw a kitchen with white tile and a island in the middle with four legs like a butcher block. I saw him eating wet food there and there;s dry food elsewhere. I also sensed he’s kinda indifferent and arrogant. Not like human arrogance but I don’t need any of you i can take care of myself.

06/14/2018 at 10:39 pm #51305Martha BreedingPlatinum Member
Hi Gina,
I didn’t get that message before. I’m so sorry! I don’t know what happened.
As for kitchen, the floor is white, but it’s linoleum. It’s pretty small and doesn’t have an island. However, I’d like very much to have a tile floor in the kitchen and an island! I wonder if what you’re getting has something to do with my future kitchen! I have considered moving (but I don’t know to where or when).Hawkeye and Serenity have a mat in the corner of the living room where sometimes I put their wet food dishes. I tend to put their dishes on the living room table or on the couch or futon. There’s not a set location. They used to eat canned food and dry food, but Hawkeye needed to lose some weight so I stopped feeding them dry food.
I’m interested in the tile floor and the island in the kitchen. I wonder if that’s in my future. I also wonder if that’s from Hawkeye’s past if he lived somewhere other than the shelter and rescue. Do you have any more information about that?

Thank you for clarifications and corrections, Martha. My first cat, Persephone, in the early 1990s told animal communicator Anastacia Gourley (then of Leverett, near Amherst, MA, and now of Crozet, near Charlottesville, VA) that she, Persephone, was supposed to be the baby but that she had to tell me everything that I should be doing! She would walk me to the bathroom when I got up in the morning and wait outside, then walk me to the kitchen to get her breakfast. She would eat kibble on her own, but I had to spoon-feed her wet food (put a little on a spoon, which she would lick off). Cats take command of their households (at least from their perspective).
All the best to you, Serenity, and Hawkeye with the new furniture! -

Oh my gosh! How cute! Cats’ mentalities can be so funny at times. She believed she was supposed to be the baby but felt like she had to tell you what you should be doing!!! That’s hilarious! I love it that she wanted to be spoon fed, too. That’s adorable! Did she meow at you a lot when she wanted something or if she just felt like chatting?
-
06/20/2018 at 9:38 am #51402Carol Schuyler (SKY ler)Inactive Member
I’m disappointed I don’t remember more about Persephone’s voice. She recognized about two dozen words I said. Even though she wasn’t chatty like some of my other cats, she was controlling and possessive (she was an “only” cat who didn’t let me adopt anyone else). As soon as I put my backpack down when I came in the door, I had to hold out my hands for her to sniff. She controlled with her eyes and the thoughts behind them–as a veterinarian observed. Too many stories about that, and Hawkeye is the FAT.
Hawkeye seemed available to me between 10:10 and 10:20 CDT today, 6/20, after I did two of Val’s meditations from Course 1. I got the impression that he was enjoying patterns of sunlight and shadow through closed or mostly closed eyes. Maybe he was on or close to the balcony.
Because one of my cats was on the Mac table with me and loves to be brushed, I asked Hawkeye if he liked brushing. “Not especially.” Same with if he liked to lap-sit.
He seemed to indicate that you were not at home with him but that Serenity was somewhere nearby; he didn’t seem interested in her location.
I asked him the color of the new couch. When I didn’t get a reply, I Googled how cats see color and found this article by vets specializing in how animals see: https://www.businessinsider.com/pictures-of-how-cats-see-the-world-2013-10. There are photos comparing how humans and cats view the same scenes.
But, then, of course, I was out of the space with Hawkeye, so it was thanks and bye.

06/23/2018 at 4:37 pm #51496Martha BreedingPlatinum Member
Hi Carol! Persephone sounds like a funny girl! As for Hawkeye, it’s definitely possible you talked with him when he was on or close to the balcony because I had the balcony door open on the morning of the 20th.
I actually haven’t tried to brush Hawkeye, but I have a feeling he wouldn’t like being brushed! You’re right that he does not like to sit in my lap. He’s definitely not a lap kitty. Maybe he’s too big for my lap!
I was still at home at the time when you talked to him that day, but I went out later and met up with family. Also, on Monday I was gone for a long time spending time with family (some of the same as on Wednesday). They all came from out of state.
As for the color of the new couch, it’s brown. That’s interesting about how cats see colors. So, it sounds like they actually can see more colors than what many humans gave them credit for in the past. I wonder where brown falls though in terms of colors cats see.

Hi Martha!
Thank you for sharing Hawkeye With us! He is wonderful!
So excited and greatful for this opportunity!Looking at his Picture I first got a feeling of a gentle, almost feminie energy, a kind and at times tentative soul-as if he has to check out before making a move. When being in «check-out mode», I could feel a preassure in my upper chest, a feeling of worry and a bloating or bubbling sensation in the belly.
When asking him to talk to me, he jumped in with an energetic, joyfyl movement, eager and attentive. He surprised me there. I got the feeling of a happy, playful cat. He showed me a Picture of a buzzing flie, and tickeling feeling inside the mouth when the fly was trapped and moving. I guess he likes that feeling, because it made me laugh. I got a Picture of his front paws over his nose. When asking him to tell me more, I got an itchy sensation in the upper part of the nose, like a sensation of sneezing. I’m not sure what that was about! Asking him about the feeling of worry I heard the words «waiting» and a «lot happening at once». Then he was off before I got the chance to thank him and say goodbye. Such a sweet and gentle boy!
I hope something here made sense to you Martha. This is my first experience in «public». Please have that in mind. Thank’s again!
With gratitude

Hi Kirsti!
I’ve never been to Norway! I’ve seen pictures though. It looks like a beautiful country!
Thank you for connecting with Hawkeye. That’s so funny about the fly! That made me laugh, too! There have been flies in our apartment at times. Now is fruit fly season, too. Do you know what a fruit fly is? Now that it’s fruit fly season there are a lot of them. I wonder if he ate one of them recently?! Whether it was a fly or a fruit fly in his mouth and tickling him, that’s so funny! As for the gentle and feminine energy, I think perhaps my other kitty, Serenity, was connecting with you. That makes me laugh, too, and smile! Serenity is very gentle and very feminine! Serenity also has a tentative soul and quite often checks out things before she makes a move. She’s a cautious girl.
You mentioned about feeling pressure in your chest that was a feeling of worry and a bubbling or bloating sensation in the belly. This concerns me. I don’t want either of them to have pressure in their chests or to be worried. I don’t want them to be bloated or have a bubble in their bellies either. Perhaps they worry about me when I have anxiety??? Hawkeye I think feels that his purpose/one of his purposes is to help me with my anxiety. Perhaps Serenity feels that way, too. In regards to the bloating in the belly, Hawkeye is somewhat of a big boy and slightly over weight I think. Sometimes it looks like his belly is a little bloated. Vets have never said anything about his belly though.
In regards to the pressure, worrying, and Hawkeye’s belly, I know you said he said something about “waiting” and that a lot was happening at once. I recently got new furniture and people were coming to get furniture I was getting rid of and also donating and also bring the new furniture. I also was gone gone from home for a couple of days for a long time last week to spend time with family from out of state. I hope he hasn’t picked up on when I’ve wondered if he’s not the right cat for Serenity and if it would be best if I were to return Hawkeye to the rescue I adopted him from. I don’t think that’s the right thing for him though and wish he would make some changes about himself so we could all live happily together. Hawkeye really is a great cat and very sweet who I could learn a lot from and already have learned from. I’ve asked Val about my concern about Hawkeye not being the right cat for Serenity, and Val said, “they’re working it out.” I have various concerns about him not being right for Serenity (being clingy to me, hanging out on the other side of Serenity’s secluded spot, not playing gently with her, and some others) (I mentioned some things in my most recent reply to Chigusa if you want to check it out). Do you pick up on anything more regarding him being worried? Is there anything I need to do?
I’m not surprised he was eager to talk with you and energetic when having the opportunity! He is a happy cat with warm energy. He gets bursts of energy and is a very curious cat. He has a young energy physically at times. I’ve been told he’s wise. I think he probably is, but also inside has a youthful energy.
In regards to the sneezing sensation, I don’t know what that was about. That’s funny though! Maybe he felt a sneeze coming and wanted to tell you about it! LOL!
I just told him that you intended to say “good bye” to him and thank him and that you said he’s “such a sweet and gentle boy”. He truly is a sweet boy. I’d like him to become gentle (at least with Serenity)!
Thank you so much for connecting with Hawkeye (and Serenity even though you didn’t realize it at the time!). I hope my feedback helps. If you can, let me know more about the feeling of worry.
Meow,
Martha -

Hi Martha!
Thank you for responding so nicely.
Norway is a beautiful country with it’s variety of wonderful placec to see and explore. Absolutely worth a vistit.Yes, I definatley know fruit-flies. The norwegian ones come with a mute buzzing, at least in my ears. Anyway…good luck with the fly-season! They’re presence can be intense at times.
Thank you for sorting out the energy-mix for me. Makes me wonder if there can be different energies from pictures compared to a «live» conversation. For instance if pictures holds the energy from when it was taken? Might be a question I can bring to the forum!? I recently had a similar experience with a dog. Looking at her picture, the feeling of sorrow was owerwhelming. I met her in person a week later. The density of gref felt more at ease and calmer then.
Back to Hawkeye. The preassure in the chest was present at the first moment I looked at the picture. (not when I talked to him «in person») It felt similar to anxiety or a feeling of worry which lead to the bubly feeling in the belly. I got the impression he wanted me to understand the connection between feeling of worry and a «worried belly». He also might be picking up on your worry? The «waiting» part was about something not being at ease or sattled down. Could it be he feels your consern and is waiting for a decision to be made? If you deside to keep him, can you let him know?
After reading your reply yesterday, I tried to connect with him again. He helped me feel a wonderful, heartfelt connection (I have only felt the same feeling toghether with a horse that was very dear to me) saying «this is how it feels to be truly connected». I was moved to tears. It might be the same thing he will do for you? Turn the worry into truly connection and a feeling of peace. I hope that feels right to you!
When looking at the two cats toghether, Serenity was turning away from him. Hawkeye seems to try to get her attention in any way he can. Is it possible he does not know how to relate to her and needs a litte guidance? Can you tell him to be more calm approaching Serenity? Or maybe show him how to calm his energy down when he is too eager? Even though he acts out with a boosty energy, he still gives me the impression of insecurity. Does that make any sense?
Thank you again for this opportunity! It means a lot to me!

Hi Kirsti!
First of all, I want to offer a heartfelt apology for my delayed reply to you. I hope you accept it.Maybe someday I’ll visit Norway 🙂
Fruit flies in the U.S. don’t make a sound (not one hat I hear anyway) either.
As for your question about energy from pictures and energy from live conversations, that’s a great question! If you ask Val, I’d be interested in the answer!
Thanks for letting me know about the pressure in Hawkeye’s chest and feeling of worry or anxiety. I imagine the pressure/worry/anxiety you picked up on was from my not knowing whether to keep him or not. I tried to talk to him once this evening. He said he was sleeping. I talked to him again and told him that he, Serenity, and I are a family and I’m not going to return him. I told him he stays. He understood and liked “hearing” that. I’m happy and glad about that! If you happen to talk to Hawkeye again sometime, please let me know if you pick up on the pressure you picked up on before and the anxiety/worry feeling.
I love the feeling you got when you connected with Hawkeye again! That’s so beautiful. I would love it if he does that for me. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has and I haven’t picked up on it yet. He does get very affectionate with me.
Since I’ve decided he, Serenity, and I are a family and he stays, I will turn the worrying into truly connecting with him and having a feeling of peace. Thank you!
In regards to what you’re saying about both cats, that all makes sense. I have tried to talk to him and tell him to calm down, be gentle, etc. when interacting with Serenity. Maybe he just needs to be told some more or reminded of how to interact with Serenity. Maybe he needs to be talked to in a different way than I have to fully understand. Thank you for leading me to these ideas!
I welcome you to communicate with my kitties anytime.
Hugs from Los Angeles,
Martha

Hi Martha, I spoke with Hawkeye. This is the conversation.
Me: Hi Hawkeye my name is Alicia
Hawkeye: I remember you. We spoke before.
Me: how are things going? It’s been a busy month for you.
Hawkeye: yes it has been exciting for me and I am very grateful my mom decided to do this. I have enjoyed teaching people
about communication and cats.
Me: Can you tell me what you consider to be the most important advice for us?
Hawkeye: I want everyone to realize how important practicing is. Not whether you get every detail right but how much time you spend doing it. This gets you more familiar with the process and then it feels more natural. When it feels natural you won’t overthink things and try too hard.
Me: Wow, what great advice. Thank you very much !!
Hawkeye: it’s my job as your teacher.
Me: Anything else?
Hawkeye: Take a deep breath, relax, lean into the process and enjoy. Your efforts will be rewarded.
Me: can we talk again? This was fun.
Hawkeye: yes of course. Bye.-

I agree with Hawkeye about it being important for us to practice and that getting all the details right isn’t important, but getting comfortable with connecting and talking with animals is. I think it will become more natural the more we connect and talk with animals. I’m happy he has enjoyed talking with everyone and helping them! It might not necessarily be easy at times to take Hawkeye’s advice about “Take a deep breath, relax, lean into the process and enjoy.” I hope to do those things though when I can, and I imagine the more I do those things, too, that the more natural they’ll become. I’ve started to to have less of the, as I call it, “hamster on the wheel thinking” which I think will help in order to take Hawkeye’s advice. I’m happy that he’s expressed an interest in talking with you in the future! Anytime you’re both interested in talking, you’re more than welcome to do so. I’ll give feedback any time as long as I’m aware you connected with him 🙂Thank you for connecting with Serenity and introducing yourself to her, too. I love that she was so happy about talking with you that she was purring so much that you could feel the vibrations from the purring!!!!! That makes me so happy!!!! I love when she purrs 🙂 You’re also more than welcome to connect with her any time you and she both want to connect. I’ll give feedback, too, as long as I know you connected with her.
Meows and Purrs,
Martha

I tuned into your cat Serenity just to introduce myself and ask if we can talk in a few days. She was purring so much that I could feel the vibration of it. She said she would like that so if it’s ok I would like to communicate with her also.
Thank you for all of you and Hawkeye’s contributions to our learning experience this month. -

I tried connecting with Hawkeye while I was posting my accountability. I keep getting weird stuff as in unexpected. Not baby lion this time but I couldn’t get past a feeling of wistfulness. Like he was feeling undervalued for his brave, true heart. He feels his magnificence is being overlooked. He is being measured against standards he considers irrelevant or less important than the gifts he has to offer–his perception, courage, and willingness to overlook human imperfections.

Hello Claire! First of all, I’m very sorry for my delayed reply. I read your message though after you posted it (long before replying right now). After reading it I told Hawkeye things I thought might be good to tell him since you said he felt undervalued. It makes sense that he might have felt that his wisdom was being overlooked and that his forgiving qualities were also being overlooked. Thank you for bring this to my attention. I told Hawkeye that I he’s handsome and I love how wise, forgiving, etc. he is. I’ve told him that other times after you mentioned his feelings of being undervalued, too. Hopefully he doesn’t feel undervalued now!

Hello Martha,
After reading the latest exchanges with and about Hawkeye, I wanted to talk with him again–that winsome personality, those handsome looks! What I write below is as if I’m receiving accurately, so I’ll leave off expressions like “it seems” and thoughts of “that’s ego-brain.”
Hawkeye said he remembered me and he had time to talk (Th 6/28, 9:15-9:30 Central). I asked if he had anything he cared to say and received a blank. Remembering your game on Facebook about his most distinguishing feature, I asked if he liked to wag his tail. Yes!, he said. Me: When do you wag it most? H: When Mom’s around.
I was kneeling scrunched down in front of him, so a human is less intimidating to a feline. At some point, my eyes got itchy so I palmed them. That caused me to perceive black glitter against a teal background. Or did it have something to do with Hawkeye? At some point, he put a paw over my right hand.
Me: What do you want, Hawkeye, to make your life here better? Another cat? H: No!
Me: What then? H: To climb higher. (A request for a tall kitty condo?)Me: Do you have advice for everybody? for me? for both? I lost focus and left. A few minutes later, though, I checked if he’d reconnect. Me: I’m sorry, I asked you for advice but forgot it already. Were you saying what you thought of God?
(I have problems with the concept of a God who is all-knowing, -powerful, and -good because of the breadth and depth of animal suffering, e.g., creating or allowing the food chain.)
H: Brightness. An image of a field of white glitteriness.
Me: Your advice?
H: An image of outstretched arms circling towards each other.
Me: Thank you. Good-bye. (Then I remembered that “Good-bye” is short for “God be with you.”)
Thank you, Martha, for sharing Hawkeye with the group.

Hello Carol,
First of all, I apologize for my late reply. I hope you forgive me.
That’s a cute answer from him about his tail! He does wag it at times. Since it’s not a long tail (it’s only about two inches or so in length), it doesn’t look like a wag fro cats who have a longer tail or from a dog with a long tail. It looks more like the tail wiggles lol.Perhaps Hawkeye would like a cat tree. Recently I got a fairly tall chest of drawers that he enjoys being on top of. If the cats and I move to a bigger place I’ll be sure to remember that he’d like a cat tree. When I read your message (before I’m replying to it now) I thought about where I could put a tall cat tree now. I don’t know where I’d put one. I hope that when the cats and I move it will be soon enough that he can enjoy the cat tree and that he won’t have lost interest in climbing!
I’m not surprised about the image of white glitteriness and open, outstretched arms you got from him. He’s a very happy, loving, warm, and forgiving cat.
One day I got to thinking about your first communication with Hawkeye with the baby lion’s face. I wonder if that’s because lion’s are thought of as strong, courageous, and somewhat king-like and if that’s how he sees himself (except smaller than a grown lion-hence the baby face).
I’m sure Hawkeye has enjoyed connecting with you. Feel free to connect with him anytime you both are interested!

Hello Martha
I finally connected with FAT. Hawkeye told me the following: I like it here but I would like more playtime. Feeling alone. This was on Sunday, 4.15pm Eastern time. Likes strings and balls to play with. Hawkeye is a bit skittish. Likes to look out of the windo. Doesn’t like the litter box but I am a good girl. Dry food only but knows there is more food for me to eat. Momm is working all day. My heart hurts sometimes (emotionally). No other pet here. I am alone. Love sleeping. Highlight of the day is when mom comes home.
I didn’t read the other notes. Curious what I have perceived correctly.

Hello Manuela,
I apologize for my delayed reply. I hope you forgive me.Hawkeye loves to play! I think he would like me to play with him more often. I feel badly for not playing with him more often. He, my other cat, and I played this morning!
He likes balls and strings, yes. He likes other toys, too.
When other humans are around (which is only when it’s necessary), he is a bit skittish, yes. I’m curious though how he is when it’s telepathically. How was he when you connected with him?
Yes, Hawkeye likes to look out the window.
I didn’t realize Hawkeye doesn’t like the litterbox. Hawkeye is a boy. Did he say why he doesn’t like the litter box?
Hawkeye at one point got dry and canned food. Now he and the other cat do not eat dry food. They get canned cat food, organic chicken, and organic coconut oil.
I’m actually home a lot of the time. There is another cat. They’re not very close though. I’m sorry he’s emotionally sad. I didn’t know that he’s emotionally sad. What would make him happy?
At times when I come home he greets me. Yes, he loves to sleep 🙂

Thank you, Martha, for replying to my 7/06 post. It was reassuring about his “to climb higher” and your tall chest of drawers and eventual tall kitty condo. Thank you, too, for the invitation to connect with him again sometime; I feel a tug at the heart even remembering our brief communications.
Claire Druault Druault in her 6/09 and 6/28 posts mentioned the lion’s face, not me. But I appreciated her new way of seeing him.

Hi Carol,
Sorry about the mix up on who said the part about getting a picture of a baby lion. Anyway, yes, if you ever feel the tugging at your heart, feel free to connect with Hawkeye. If I know you connected with him, I’ll give you feedback.

Hello Hawkeye, this is Barb from the animal coaching club. Thank You for talking with us this month!
I talked to you in June when I asked you your favorite room to sit. Can I ask a few more questions? I have not listened to other’s conversations so please forgive me if I ask a question you have already answered.
Ok
Do you have a favorite food to eat?
I like tuna fish.
Do you like to play?
I like my feathered toy.
Do you have a favorite place to sleep?
Martha’s pillow. It’s soft and smells good.
Do you have anything you would like to tell us?
Be calm. You get more answers that way.
Thank You! Hawkeye.
He is happy and so willing to be a companion and very content.
He is comfortable in his role as domesticated kitty. He has had lots of lives as a cat.-

Hi Barb,
That was a cute conversation you and Hawkeye had. As for his favorite food, it might be tuna fish. I haven’t given him tuna fish often (I’m concern about the mercury in the ocean being in tuna fish). I did give him tuna though before and he liked it.Hawkeye loves to play. He has feathered toys he enjoys playing with very much. Interestingly enough, Hawkeye got up on the futon with me and then moved to one of the kitty condos.
Until the kitties and I got our new couch, yes, he liked to sleep on my pillow. Lately though he’s enjoyed sleeping on the new couch. I wonder if maybe he likes sleeping on my pillow the most out of all the places to sleep.
I like his advice of being calm and that it leads to more answers! I think that’s true with a lot of situations. I love the wisdom animals can share with us humans!
He is very happy and content and makes a wonderful companion! He’s my boy!
I’m happy he’s comfortable in his role as a domesticated kitty 🙂 He seems to be.
I As for his past lives, I wonder how many were cats.

Hi Martha,
I’m practising being at one with an animal – I’m doing the beginners course with Val online. I’ve read some of the other people’s comments. When I asked him how he felt about other cats he showed me a picture of a grey and white cat – it fits with the picture of Serenity. He seemed to really love her like a sister and licked her in my image. He enjoys chasing flies – is that true? He showed me pictures of stretching out in the sunshine, but outdoors in a dusty barn-like environment. He also seemed to love chasing flying insects by a river. He has a very kind and nurturing spirit, almost like a mother figure, but has yet to grow into it. I’m not sure if any of this is real or accurate, but I will keep practising. Thank you both, Martha and Hawkeye,
from Rosemary -

Hi Rosemary,
I’m so sorry for the late reply! Please forgive me.
Serenity might appear like that in the picture. Serenity is actually white, black, brown, a little bit of tan, and perhaps a little grey (but I don’t know if the black and white combined make the fur look grey).
Anyway, I’m glad Hawkeye really loves Serenity. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does really love her. They’re not bonded though and he sometimes scares Serenity a bit. A lot of the time they not close to each other (in proximity). I think Serenity prefers to keep her distance. There have been times when they have licked each other, but the licking didn’t last long.He enjoys chasing flies, but doesn’t do it often. Perhaps Serenity was the one telling you about enjoying chasing flies. She chased flies a lot when she was about one or so and sometimes still does. I’m not sure who was talking to you them and I know that sometimes animals might jump in a conversation a human is having with another non-human.
Hawkeye doesn’t lie in the sun much that I’m aware of. The three of us live in an apartment. Maybe the barn part was from a previous life. Or maybe the barn part was him saying he’d like to have a barn he can be near. Maybe he was saying that there’s a barn in our future.
I don’t live near a river. However, I’ve considered us moving and thought about perhaps living by a river. Maybe Hawkeye knew I was considering moving us near a river.
I can definitely see Hawkeye becoming kind and nurturing like a mother figure! Sometimes he’ll follow me when I’m anxious to see if I’m OK.
I love the name Rosemary. I named one of my mom’s cats Rosemary.
I invite you to connect again anytime you’re both interested. If I’m aware you connected with him, I’ll give you feedback.
