      3. Upon completion, you’ll receive an email to schedule your session with Val for communication coaching, intuition development, or animal work.

For detailed instructions, see the Welcome Module in your student dashboard.

      The 6 Weekly Questions

      1. Meditation: What meditations did you do this week? Use the Meditation Module for guidance.
      2. Animal Communication: Describe your interaction with an animal (name, species, and key discoveries). Use the Featured Animal Teacher page for practice.
      3. Gratitude: Share at least one thing you’re grateful for this week.
      4. Questions/Discoveries: What questions or discoveries did you make about animal communication?
      5. Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Pet Connection Practice Lab: Did you communicate with this month’s FAT or another Animal Teacher in the Lab? If yes, who did you talk to? If not, why?
      6. Intuition Development: Which lessons or exercises did you do? Avoid intuition game apps—use resources from the Welcome Module.

      Accountability May 28 – June 3, 2026

      1. Meditation: I continued the Meditation on Mindfulness Releasing Thoughts from last week, as I found it challenging. Prior to this, I didn’t realize how much chatter I have going on! Intentionally practicing this for another week helped me to more easily release those thoughts.

      2. Animal Communication: I communicated with Smokey (male horse, living), whose human is Elizabeth Burton. I am not familiar with horses, and was a little unsure. But, I remembered something in one of Val’s courses from her cat, that what I need in the moment will come to me. That made all the difference in the world with how I came into the session.

      3. Gratitude: I am grateful that, when I asked to be guided to the perfect animal teacher for me in this moment, that I was guided to Smokey. I am not familiar with horses, and this stretched me outside of my comfort zone so that I continue to grow.

      4. Questions/Discoveries: That we truly are spiritual beings in different forms, and that when I communicate, I am communicating with a fellow spiritual being.

      5. Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Pet Connection Practice Lab: I communicated with an animal from the Pet Lab: Smokey (male horse, living), whose human is Elizabeth Burton.

      6. Intuition Development: I did the Quiet Mind, Open Heart and I actually used it to start my communication session with Smokey!

      1) I did a walking meditation on the beach when I went to visit the coast this past week. I also did the heart wisdom love meditation when connecting with animals.

      2) I connected with two animals this week. One was a follow-up with a dog who has a hard time getting along with one of her other moms. I felt there was some past life connection going on, where their roles in that lifetime clashed with each other. So, it seems like they are bringing some of that into this lifetime. The guardian opened the conversation and asked if she would be happier somewhere else. This time, I did get a strong desire that the dog would prefer to be in a one-person household. She was sharing a lot of jealousy in this session and does not want to compete for attention from anybody. I got an image of an older lady living by herself, who would be highly suited for the dog’s preferences. I also connected with a 3-year-old male cat who is acting out and biting and scratching his mom. I got that the cat really wants to be outdoors and roam freely and independently. I got that in his previous home, he was mostly outdoors, and he misses that. He feels like he has a lot of energy to burn off and feels agitated staying at home and watching other cats around his property. The guardian also asked if he would be happier somewhere else. I did get that the cat would be happier living in an environment where he can embrace spending time outdoors.

      3) I am grateful that I got to enjoy a couple of days on the coast. It was nice to have a change of weather and feel the cool ocean breeze.

      4) I have been watching this series about animal communication and business, and how I really should specialize. I think for me, I am most excited when I get behavior cases to work with. So, I think I need to specialize in behavior cases, which bring me the most joy, especially when we can see a noticeable shift with the animal.

      5) No, I did not connect with our new featured animal teacher yet.

      6) I tuned into my body this week to see what foods or supplements would be most beneficial for me.

      1. Meditation: What meditations did you do this week? Use the Meditation Module for guidance.
Twin hearts, I am, The Great invocation (during the special full moon practices), Heart wisdom love connection, Metta blessing and mindfulness.

      2. Animal Communication: Describe your interaction with an animal (name, species, and key discoveries). Use the Featured Animal Teacher page for practice.
I spoke to Debbie’s Mikey and posted, awaiting feedback.

      3. Gratitude: Share at least one thing you’re grateful for this week.
I am always grateful for Val’s guidance and wisdom, as in the last newsletter, to start even with small steps. I have a limitation of wanting to do everything and too thoroughly, so sometimes wait for the ideal time and circumstances. Val’s reminders are perfect! In fact, I’m making a list of the ones that help every day.

      4. Questions/Discoveries: What questions or discoveries did you make about animal communication?
I have a couple of questions regarding communicating with an in spirit animal, based on inputs from the FAT page, and have posted for the next call. Do the colors in the aura reflect the spirit animal or when it was in the physical form? Does an animal that has reincarnated remember the previous life and human?

      5. Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Pet Connection Practice Lab: Did you communicate with this month’s FAT or another Animal Teacher in the Lab? If yes, who did you talk to? If not, why?
I have noted some of the points Tikli communicated, and hope to clarify with her later.

      6. Intuition Development: Which lessons or exercises did you do? Avoid intuition game apps—use resources from the Welcome Module.
I have been trying the Morning messages daily ritual practice, but unfortunately, I don’t seem to get the message straightaway, but sometimes later in the day. I am also writing down an intention as Val teaches, as well as what the Buddhist monk suggests: Today is going to be my peaceful day!

Meditation: Chanting, Val’s guided heart meditations, some silent, and some breathing.
Animal Communication: I’ve been practising with a friend’s cat who has been a bit desperate about her stress and health and vet visits. The good thing is that my friend’s feedback is very blunt and clear – so this has really helped me see where I’m going right and where I’m going wrong. I think I’ve been settling for weak connection. This cat has shown me to spend more time at the beginning between the meditation into my heart space and beginning the conversations. Sometimes it happens immediately but I’ve seen a difference in my confidence in receiving when I do this. Also, this is showing me to not rush to interpret into rational ideas but allow more space for things that may not seem relevant at all. I thought one picture the cat sent me was a pleased reaction to me deepening my level of respect for her during the communication. Actually the picture was of this cat golden and glowing and radiant. I think in hindsight it was a reaction to the healing I did in the previous communication. It’s also helping me build my confidence back since it has been very low.
Gratitude: I’m so grateful for this cat and her guardian who have taken the time to feedback very bluntly and keep exploring what I got with the reality of what the cat was going through.
Questions/Discoveries: Don’t rush to put things into words!
Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Pet Connection Practice Lab: I haven’t this week.
Intuition Development: I’ve been practising feeling into my body more and more to pick up my reactions to things happening around me.

      1 Meditation:

Listened to chanting meditation. Quieting the mind – releasing negative thoughts – urgently

      2 Animal Communication

Guided a fly to the outside world that had been caught in a net window curtain.

I communicated with a sparrow that flew past me to land near my feet, where it stood looking at me as though waiting for something beyond my gentle acknowledgment of the bird. The sparrow may have wanted food, but the interaction was brief due to people passing.

      3 Gratitude:

Grateful the searing heat has subsided, but now, typically in the UK (we can have several weather conditions in one day), we have rain, at the start of the meteorological summer – that should be warm weather and longer daylight hours.

      4. Questions/Discoveries:

Does a cloned animal retain the memories, feelings, and experiences inherent to the original animal?

5 Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) OR Animal Teacher Handout

      No

      6 Intuition Development:

Use intuition daily in decision-making. Guessing the time – getting more accurate.

      1. Which meditations did you do?
      Dropping into my heart,
      Heart meditation
Mindfulness, whilst sitting out in nature watching and listening to the birds, animals and trees.
      Quiet expanded awareness meditation.

      2. Which animal(s) did I communicate with? What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience.
I connected with Dakota’s Kola-in-spirit and shared in the forum. I picked up a strong masculine energy with her and got some clear images that Dakota did not recognise. As the images were so vivid could I have been connecting with another animal? I set my intention to connect with Kola, but wonder if I am still picking up some static.
I connected with Beau and saw an image of an old horse drawn carriage being pulled by a lovely looking horse. I then got a view of travelling as though I was inside the carriage passing trees. I saw a sandy looking dog, possibly a staffie breed, but it quickly changed into several breeds, before showing me Marley, my old Alsatian. I believe he was maybe showing me his past lives. I then saw images of a sandy footpath, which I didn’t recognise, so wondered if I was then linking to his dream, as he was asleep and we’ve been away this week, walking on beaches.

      3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
A lovely week in nature, relaxing and connecting.

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I discovered that Beau’s predominant communication method is clairvoyance, which is an important discovery in terms of helping me connect with him more effectively.
If you connect in with an animal who is sleeping, how likely are you to connect in with their dreams, rather than their reality and how would you know the difference?
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
      No

      6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I’ve been practicing expanding my awareness and trying to pay more awareness to my clairvoyance, which feels more like a dream state at times.

      Meditation:
Heart Wisdom Love Connection – several times this week! This has really been my go-to meditation.
I also do EFT tapping every day to help center my body and process emotions.

      Animal Communication:
On Sunday, I had a session with a returning client (my first one!). She was very concerned about her cat eating out of boredom and gaining weight. She had some other worries as well. It was so interesting, as we talked more — I almost felt a bit “murky” there at one point. I think I was picking up on her guilt, which then she expressed later in the session. She holds a lot of guilt from animals she’s had in the past. She’s been very concerned with those things happening again with her new boy Kevin. Consistently, I’m finding that while the animal may have some issues – there is also such a strong soulful connection. I feel like she is learning alongside Kevin; such a clear message came through “you are not repeating the past.” I felt like they both needed to hear that. I could really sense the soulful mirroring between them.

Today, I was honored to be part of an end-of-life session with a client and her dog. I was careful not to ask the dog too many questions, while also wanting to share comfort and reassurance to her mom. I had such an amazing feeling at the beginning of the session, one I hadn’t felt before. I felt like this dog’s energy was wrapped around my body. When the session began, her mom talked about being enveloped in her energy. It was profound to feel that together. The whole session was touching and I did feel emotional, but I remained grounded and present.

      Gratitude:
I am very grateful for the fellow animal communicator that recommended me to the client I met with today. I don’t know (yet) who did that, but I’m sending love and gratitude from my heart. Thank you!

      Questions/Discoveries:
For end-of-life sessions, how does everyone approach them? Today I felt called to not ask too many questions and to let the insights come through that were meant to be shared. With an animal that’s living or in spirit, I feel like I can ask more… but with end-of-life (especially if it’s on the last few days or day of their passing), it feels more respectful to just be present, and ask when it feels right.

Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Pet Connection Practice Lab:
Not yet! I’m so curious to find out what Sunny will share with us.

      Intuition Development:
      I finished two courses recently:
3 Easy Ways to Heal Pets Using Animal Talk & Reiki Course
The Heart of the Conversation 7-Step Blueprint Course
Next, I would like to do the Awaken Your Inner Guidance System!

      1. Meditation: Breath and presence to enhance the pleasure and goodness and gratitude. breath and presence to deal with cope and manage pain.
      2. Animal Communication: A little lizard has befriended me this week. He has shared a spirit of determination, curiosity, and I heard the word “shark.” This is a forward moving, direct and with no pretense, loving, and very curious soul. Today he communicated that he is feeling content and present. He seems to feel safe or at least curious in my presence. I saw a cardinal and a falcon yesterday while walking with my mom. Messages of rarity and blessings in the intentional awakening of gratitude and loving connection.
      3. Gratitude: I am grateful that my cats are in the care of an amazing pet nanny who creates daily picture collages and daily reports. Sebastian is not hiding and eating in her presence — wonderful to hear. I am grateful that I no longer have a migraine like a vice grip after cancelled flights and toxic chemical stress.
      4. Questions/Discoveries: I would like to commune more with the red cardinal and what his messages may be or just his vibe. It’s not always about what they have to teach me — they are just doing there thing and I happen to be there. And simultaneous I can connect and also maybe learn a thing or too. And attune to the signs and symbols of the moment. My mom loves the cardinals and we always think of her mother, Mamaw.
      5. FAT: not this week as I stay in my breath and presence during a severe respiratory virus and stressful travel.
      6. Intuition Development: Knowing when to be silent and accept “defeat” in the presence of others emotional inmaturity, say No, and move on, and clear the field for all.
