We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them. Enjoy!

My impression of him is that he is beautiful, content but inquisitive spirit, friendly, but has a spit fire side as well.

Yes she is a “beautiful, content but inquisitive spirit, friendly, but has a spit fire side as well”. She does assert her boundaries with another cat with this spit fire. With me, she doesn’t use the “spit fire” 🙂 all sweetness. Yes, for the most part she likes to be stroked and pet, but is also very elusive with anyone but me, until she feels trust with the other human. Even others whom she has previously allowed into her space, are not automatically allowed to pet her/be close to her, on subsequent encounters (the distance your felt…). This has not always been the case. I will leave it there for now. Love to hear her express to you that she loves to eat and be in the sun. We use to live in the sunny desert, but now we are in a forest hidden cabin in Alaska. I bought treats yesterday, after reading your comment about the treats, as it had been a few days since extra treats! She seems to love most of the food (mostly raw but dry too) but she is not food focused. I got to witness (and be part of in moments) her birth almost 10 years ago, wow! Cute kitty
I loved sharing this with Sebastian by telling her that I read about the conversation with you on our forum. Fun and connecting!

Thank you for offering your animals for ATH!I wanted to re-start doing practices in more regular bases and just started with A who you happen to be. 🙂 I wanted to say hi to one of the animals in your household and was drawn to Sebastian.
While I didn’t have any conversation, here’s what I sensed and need your input if you are willing…
I sensed that he is a bit complicated cat… I felt he sometimes have aggressive behavior but that’s something he is doing to protect something at his soul level. His “cat” energy was big and felt like defensive, almost, but his “spirit” energy was so small. Like in hiding.
My question to you is if he has any behavior issue that you can share with me? And if you are willing, I’d like to dig a deeper on it to find the source behind his feeling small…

Chigusa, YES Sebastian (a she) is a bit complicated. Yes sometimes aggressive behavior but only towards Ezla, as a physical protection based on past experiences with him when he first entered our lives about 7 years ago. There is reason for her self protection and I honor her boundaries for self, however, something deeper has taken over the logic/function of her behavior with Ezla. He is pretty chill and calm but he has chased her in the past and she doesn’t want that. I like that you said, “but that’s something he is doing to protect something at his soul level.” I agree and would love to have you help Sebastian and gain more insight. I spoke with her about it and I feel like she feels very open to your loving support, though she does hide from strangers at first. This actually has not always been the case. I would Not call her energy for the most part defensive, however, just with Ezla … and over time this has affected her overall energy and soul expression. Yes in hiding, though not from me (generally) or mama kitty or nature time. I feel and witness her brilliant spirit and soul shine, but, much of her nature is muted or dampened by her aggressive interaction with Ezla. Way more I can tell you here. But perhaps I will leave it there so that you can see what you get? Much appreciation for your support with sweet Sebastian. I would absolutely love for you to “dig deeper on it to find the source behind her feeling small.” 🙂 thank you Chigusa!!

I checked in with Sebastian this morning and here’s what I gathered. Let me know if there’s anything that resonate or seems off…I first apologized for me assuming her as he based on the name. She didn’t mind.
She showed me when she first encountered Ezla. Was Ezla there first and Sebastian entered your lives later? That’s what I got. She didn’t feel welcome at the very first sight.
I asked Sebastian what she feels like when she sees Ezla. My hairs on my back of the neck stood up…Ezla and Sebastian’s energies are like N and S of the magnet. They are not resonating with each other. It is neither good or bad, they are just different. I sensed that you, Angela, are pretty empathic, is it right? It seems that you are able to adopt the vibration of others easier so when you are with Ezla, you are more like Ezla’s energy and vice versa.
I think Sebastian reacts to Ezla more aggressively around you. Is that right? Though by now, this has become a habit it doesn’t matter if you are there or not, it seems…
And Sebastian came to your life to carry out her “purpose” and she feels Ezla also has his purpose that is sort of fighting against each other. They are after the same “job” per se. But in Sebastian’s mind, Ezla is “winning” so she feels sad and small. She is very powerful being but Ezla reminds her of “I’m not good enough” mentality that she seems to have picked up from somewhere which is pretty humanistic thoughts.
Angela, do you have jobs (spiritual) for Sebastian and Ezla? Is it possible you might be wishing for them to serve the same purpose, even if you have set different jobs in your mind? If so, can we set really, really clear job that is not in conflict with each other’s soul’s purpose? They both came to serve, but they cannot serve the same role at your household.
Does this make any sense?

I’ll respond properly when I have more time in town on internet (no good receptionlaptop internet at my cabin; too many trees ha)! I am very interested in tuning into your insight on her aggression w Ezla and to offer feedback on where some key details are off and therefore tuning into Sebastian’s frequency may be off. Thanks so much for opening your heart, time, + spiritual wisdom to communicate w Sebasti Kitty. I feel that she will benefit greatly from this attention to what weighs on her heart. to be continued asap…

Chigusa continued! So Sebastian was part of mama kitty’s last litter that I got to witness and be part of. Ezla with his clipped ear (fixed feral) decided to make his home with us about 6 years ago. I will tell more of this story soon. Connection was not kosher in the beginning but as we moved into HIS hood, and he decided to enter my van (which i had my cozy little home in a beautiful spot) at will and was generally very sweet, I witnessed the possibility of not just coexisting but him joining us. He chased girls, like playing, but not, because they did not like that. I am a fierce mama bear protector warrioress energy and so I did not sit back and allow that; but I did provide space for transformation. Eventually unity occurred and they have even groomed. They still all cuddle fairly close. Sebastian and Ezla will sleep and relax right next to eachother. However, she will rush up and guard her space and yes I am a part of it. Ezla is very happy go lucky kitty and is aggressive only in the sense that he is a wild wily playful male kitty who wants to play. He does however, push the boundaries of that which we are transforming. More to share, in time. I want to jump to another topic though…Sebastian was badly injured and had her anus and vagina restructured as it was torn completely through but nothing inside damaged thankfully. Her right hip was also operated on. With forest air and ample energetic and spiritual healing support from me, and with her siblings (three male kitties/best friends/now unfortunately not with us as we got separated and mama kitty being her healing helpers, and with vet’s amazing help, she pulled through quickly. She has however, if i have the timing right, been way more introverted since then. More there, but that would be really awesome to explore this Chigusa! This was before ezla. Shoot my times is up and will exlore more with you i hope soon. Oh I did want to mention one thing about the roles. Ezla is protector of the perimeter/brother warrior and I feel she accepts this and likes this as long as he stays out of her immediate space. She is energetic wise one and tells us what we need to know. There is plenty to discuss there 😉 Mama Kitty is the head kitty in charge 🙂 On a spiritual level though, I will not be choosing there spiritual purpose, as it is not mine to decide. They are there own brilliant expression of that without my interference. I can guide this expression though in terms of their kitty life.

Sorry it took me a while to respond back! I had a few new people come to me requesting communications so my morning (when I do ATH practices) were taken for that.It is funny that it almost reads like I got Sebastian and Ezla confused. I did see that one was there before and there was some initial period where things didn’t go as well. Good to get that clarified so I know which one I am actually connected to!
I decided to talk with Ezla. I thought about posting on Ezla’s page but since we are already talking I’ll avoid duplicating information. Ezla seems like a nice cat, but what’s interesting is that I got his spiritual side has 2 faces. One is very grounded and huge ball of energy that sort of stays put. The other is like a smoke that’s going everywhere. When his energy is in the ball state, I felt very overwhelmed. I wonder if that’s what Sebastian feels sometimes…? It seems to explain (at least in my mind) that because Ezla has two energy state, Sebastian is not always reacting because one of those is not threatening.
I checked with Sebastian on the surgery. I’m sensing that she is not in pain, but she told me something in her tummy don’t feel right and doesn’t feel like herself. I felt a sort of like an emotion/energy soup that has its own mind. Does she move a bit awkward on the hip she was operated, still? (Though I am not feeling it is not that noticeable.) I sense that it relates to her tummy energy.
I’d love to work with her some more on this to see if I can balance her energy out and see if it helps her, but I want to make sure you give me the blessing.
I didn’t talk with Mama Kitty but I probably should do that at some point, but out of time this morning.
Oh, sorry I miscommunicated about purpose for spirit. I didn’t mean for you to decide. Let me think more about how to say it properly…

Thanks for all the insights. Yes about Ezla, that resonates. And I sense every now and then a mild (like you said) but impactful-energetically hip inflammation with Sebastian. Tummy issue interesting; please investigate that and then I’ll share a little more too. Yes on healing work, sounds really lovely for her.

I’ve decided to have a Reiki session with Sebastian this morning to address the tummy energy issue I had mentioned and you have given me the blessing to work with her on. When I connected with her, her energy was very tingly and didn’t feel good. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean bad so I checked in with Sebastian to see if she wanted that feeling gone and she agreed.Without going into much detail as it will be lengthy, we went from the top of body, balanced there, mid and went to the tummy area and here’s what she communicated with me.
Is there any memory that is not coming out of love when you think of the event that resulted in her surgery? If so, Sebastian wants you to let it go. She has forgiven and she has let go. However something is keeping that energy intact and I sense that it is coming from outside of her, possibly you. Does it resonate in any way? It is possible it doesn’t because it could be a deep rooted issue that you might not have realized yet.
That said, I worked with Sebastian so that she can separate that feeling from her own feeling. Once I did that, she started growing a beautiful red flower inside her tummy and it started growing and growing. Expanding loving energy and emanating it from her tummy.
I know when you mentioned the event, you mentioned of the loving care she received. Just remember that she has received and you have witnessed love because of the event. It is a great lesson of love. Such a blessing…
Before I said good-bye, I asked Sebastian what she wants to tell you. She just sent me “love.”
I won’t be surprised if you feel outpouring of love when you hold her, or you might not feel anything. But I hope you can believe it is there.Love and light,

Hi Chigusa. Yes I always feel an outpouring of love with and from and to Sebastian. We cuddled this morning, as most mornings, and I actually had a dream before waking where she was speaking to me audibly and I can’t remember words but it was very upbeat and actually I think related to another really fun dreaming I was having. Thanks so much for the healing session. I actually attuned my kitties to Reiki years ago, so I feel they Reiki me too! I’ve been on a lifelong healing and embodiment journey since I was a very young teenager and so I very much understand all the language you speak. The red flower sounds lovely 😊 I don’t have a memory as far as anything out of love resonance during her injury and healing. I can say with total knowing that I was fully present with her and her experience, the pain, the sadness, the fear, the transformation, the grace, the blessing, etc. So I don’t resonate with that part of your message. That said, the deeper love is always a beautiful message… more soon off o work. I will contemplate your words more later and also, would you mind telling me what time the session was. Curious if it timed in with my dream of her talking!!!

Chigusa, I am almost certain that my dream with Sebastian talking (can’t remember words but energy was upbeat) was exactly when you were communicating/sharing Reiki with her. I wish I could remember what she said in the dream! For her sake, for my sake, and fir your sake, I will still contemplate your words that don’t initially resonate as far as memory from event, and see what I can uncover and heal and release… I take the challenge 😉 because I know it is an opportunity for deeper awareness and healing for all concerned. Thanks for your powerful connections with Sebastian.

Angela, I am very impressed you are willing to at least give it a chance! Many people are quick to assume message was wrong and dismiss things that don’t resonate. It might be that I was wrong, but what if it wasn’t? What if it was a key to opening up new possibilities? I get chills just by thinking about it! I’m glad I was able to relay messages from Sebastian. 🙂

I’m connecting with Sebastian as I write this.
It’s funny, because when I clicked on another animal’s picture, it took me to Sebastian. (I just got “San Sebastian.”) Anyway, Sebastian was a bit surprised I came to talk to her since I had clicked on another animal. I just was going to tell her the reason why, but she said she knew.Anyway, Sebastian said she lives in a good size for her two-story home with a great size back yard, with a porch or covered area or something, and an area that leads to outside your yard where she can explore the woods. She said there’s a garage she likes to go in, too.
She said she doesn’t mind the car much and sometimes likes to sleep on or in the car when it’s in the garage.
She said when she’s hungry she has a special meow. She says sometimes she gets on the counter, but not always for food.
She said she loves treats. She said she likes fish, too. She said she loves the snow and to walk in it a little bit when it’s not too cold (the snow and outside) and not too high. She said she loves to watch it fall from the sky while sitting in a window or sitting by the door.
She said she likes to play with ice cubes in drinks.
She said she likes music-your music but not too loud.
She said she likes TV time-where you watch TV on the couch and she comes and gets in your lap, next to you, or lies on you while needing your chest and purring while you rub her/pet her.
She said there’s good energy and you have good energy.
We said we’d like to talk again. She wished me a good weekend and I wished the same to her. I thanked her for talking with me. She said, “You’re welcome.” She also sent me a visual of a smiling cat that was her smiling. I told her I love her.

Hi Martha! Yes the same was happening with me when trying to connect with Ginger; I let Barb know and the glitch is solved. It was funny though. Well my cabin is a tiny 12X20 cabin BUT it really does feel spacious and it is two story (top story is tiny loft for my bed). The “yard” is a definitely great size because it is just acres of forest between all the different homes in the neighborhood and area that I live. The front porch is covered. And yes she does explore those woods, but does not explore her terrain as extensively as she use to and that is partly due to weather in the winter and partly due to her dynamics with Ezla who is a roamer. The garage she may be referring to is the wood shed, or possibly the neighbors large boat shed which she seems to be very interested in lately! She does seem to have a special hungry meow :). She does get on the counter all the time, usually to get water that I have near the sink, even though I have the water bowl on the floor ;). She loves treats for sure. She likes fish, usually. Sometimes she isn’t interested, hard to say why. She does like to walk in the snow. Aaah so sweet to hear she likes to watch it fall from the sky. Hmmm, ice cubes in drinks, not sure about that one because I don’t have ice BUT I did go through a period (a couple years ago) where I drank baileys with ice cubes and the cats did definitely dip their paws in! Glad she likes my music; I need to turn it on more, because I can tell it can be soothing to them when I choose relaxing stuff. And yes she is very sensitive to the volume, more than the others. I haven’t watched anything on my laptop lately but when I do go through those phases she loves to be near with Mama Kitty. Glad she likes the good energy. :)) Thank you Martha for your communing with Sebastian. She seems to really be liking the recent communications.

Hi Angela, today I decided to try to connect with all of your 3 cats to approach them as a group for practice.
-I feel Mama kitty is number One and is the One to connect with first, kind of asking permission to be with Sebastian and allow her to be part of the conversation, Ezla is number 2 and Sebastian number 3. so this will be the rank of the clowder.
– I feel Sebastian not feeling so good and I feel some sadness. she comes close to me and is purring.
I am asking what is making her sad? i don’t really get what it is….
– I am struggling to find the right questions to ask her and talk about her bladder,etc… but it is difficult for me to get to converse…
– I asked about advice for her person? I feel “don’t mind the small stuff”
– I asked about advice for me to attract my new partner? I feel “be yourself”
– I started to want to relax I feel tense for answers and I start thinking how I like to work with the archangels and how they are so direct and not chatty and this is the way I am I realized …

big yes, and happy again, she feels much better now and so did I.
– about bladder, possibly some blood in the urine, and was part of her bladder removed? is it even possible to do that???? this was coming up in my mind and I am not sure if it my intellect again filling the gap???
