We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Patricia,
Thank you for offering Pistol as an animal teacher. I’m connecting with Pistol as I write this.
Once I linked up to his energy, Pistol came to me and rubbed his head on my face to say, “hello”.
He said that when I first connected with Sky and got that Sky was a pistol (in terms of his personality) that it was actually Pistol saying, “hi” and trying to come into the conversation. I told him I was sorry I didn’t talk to him. He said that it’s okay and that he has a message for you: He says to not try so hard with the kittens-the one who is more hesitant in particular. He said to trust in them and to also trust in Sky because he’s helping them. Pistol said that he’s helping them, too, when they’re there and even when the more hesitant one isn’t there because he’s connecting to him with energy. He’s trying to help him get over his past life of being trapped. Then he said, “That is all.” “That’s all I have to say about that.”“Moving on.” “What would you like to talk about?” I said, “How about you tell me about yourself, your life with Patricia, or whatever you want to talk about?”
He said he’s not a pushy cat. He said he’s very patient and like to eat anything-not finicky.
He asked me what I think of his eyes. “Do you like them? Aren’t they exotic?!” I told him, “Yes, Pistol, I love your eyes! I noticed how unique and different they are! I love your eyes!” He said, “Thank you. I love yours, too!”
I asked him what his favorite food to eat is. He said pate: lamb, chicken, or fish-salmon or white fish-cod.
He said he loves treats with cheese in them or catnip! He loves to smell catnip, too and roll around in it. He said, “Hint, hint, Mom!”
He said he’d liked to have another cat around in a physical cat body to snuggle with and he sent me an image of him bathing a grey kitten. He said he likes the daddy role. “Let’s keep the kittens! Okay, Mom? Let’s keep the kittens!” ” I have names for them” I got that the grey one has “Rose” in her name. I’m not sure though if this is a cat my mom and I had who was grey who I named Rosemary though coming into the conversation. I think it might be her saying, “hi.”
I said, “Tell me about your home.” Pistol said there’s a lot of white and that you like white. He showed me a visual of white walls and a white couch. I’m getting there’s a white picture frame, too-wooden or porcelain or some kind of material that’s breakable.
I said, “What else can you tell me.” Pistol said, “That’s all for now,” and that he was going to take a nap. I thanked him for talking with me and told him to have a wonderful nap. He said, “Thanks.” Love to Pistol!

OMG Pistol is soo funny!
” He asked me what I think of his eyes. “Do you like them? Aren’t they exotic?!” I told him, “Yes, Pistol, I love your eyes! I noticed how unique and different they are! I love your eyes!” He said, “Thank you. I love yours, too!”he might not feel he is pushy but HE IS!!! when I go to the kitchen he dashes over and stares at his cabinet with food and scratched it to open. He looks skiny in the Pict but don’t let that fool you. its the angle. HE is chubby !
he does sit at his food area very patiently at times. he is a very lovely cat.he is not a very friendly cat to all and I think having the three kittens has helped him be more compassionate friendly and lovable to others and kittens. They play together and groom each other. They have brought that out in him. he was not like that with Sky.
Rainbow always is looking for Pistol for grooms love and play and Pistol really is not very much like that. Will tolerate some but will bite gently and go away.
I asked Rainbow ( the GREy one you saw ) why you continue to pursue Pistol if he clearly does not want you near? he cuddles but surely is not used to so much love. these kittens are all about the groomng and love bombing. Ill send you pictures.
She responded. “its not for me its for him. I do it for him”
these little girls are breaking him with love.I do have white walls and a off white sofa that I have for years.
He eats any thing fishy exept people food. Loves the tuna and fresh food.I will get more cat nip for him. thanks MArtha.

I am new to the forum and am practicing connecting and talking with different animals. I had the pleasure of reaching out and connecting with Pistol. He was happy to speak with me. I got the impression that he is a very proud kitty and walks with his tail held high. He seems to know that he is very handsome. He told me he is about 8 years old. He prefers to be inside but likes to look at everything happening outside from the window. He does not care much for playing with toys as he would rather nap. He can sense when you are sad and he worries about you because he loves you very much. He is a very happy kitty and such a joy, thanks for sharing him!

Pistol is very proud at what he does which is to be a healer and my protector. very handsome! I tel him al the time. soft fur. He is about 9 but I dont see him that way. see him younger. he has rejuvenated when I brought in kitten from the street. he does not like to go out unless under my supervision or late at night htat no one is out.
he does take care of me when I am sad. always taking care of me and how I am feeling. he has this load vibrating purrr like a diesel. Healing.Thanks for communicating ! Loves from me and Pistol,

Hello Patricia – Here is a record of a Conversation with Pistol February 21.
It starts with stuff about me. Then the second half is about you. Pistol seemed to lead most of it.Regarding the arthritis in my hip:
Let me have a look. And he did an xray. The bones are crumbly. You need muscle to hold it apart. Your muscles are so clenched with fear and this keeps out the oxygen. Your bones are dry and exhausted. He shone a dewy green light. You’ve been fighting for 50 years. Stop fighting. Be you. Be flow. You are flow. Allow it.
He showed me a strong skeleton, strong and climbing.
Take a higher perspective. You are earth bound and heavy. Clear and lighten your energy. Get rid of old stuff you don’t need. Cleaning. You have a new phase, a new life. Not shackled by needs and urges of reproduction.
Elsa got her fear from you. Clear yours on a large scale. Hold her, clear her. Love each other. You are well suited. You have served each other well. Don’t fall into bad habits. Keep good self-disciplined habits of thinking – be optimistic.
Immerse yourself in your own life. Connect your body and your spirit closer together. Others have nothing to do with you
How will you have enough? Ask the creator when you need stuff. That’s what I do. Roll, laugh, keep light on your feet. Keep practising communicating with animals. This is your thing.I saw a ginger cat.
I have had many lifetimes. I can reach people. I am a planet healer.

I’m holding her in the light. So is Sky. She is coming to the end of one thing. Starting a new cycle. Energy can be distorted at these times. Don’t lose your footing. Keep all four paws on the ground lightly. Tread lightly.
It is good to share. Put these words into practice.
When you finish, you can separate your energies and seal it with a sacred symbol.

change the way you see your self to heal. he is telling you that you are powerful to change your physical by letting go of past and seeing yourself healthy. It seems you are in another part of your life now.
change your story and the rest will follow.
change your reality.
remember to ask for help. Universe / God is always there for you. Tap into the source.I do feel like Pistol and Sky take care of me emotionally always. I am going to another part of my life. I feel the change for the good.
