We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!

To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.

Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.

Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them. Enjoy!

      Hi Sandi,
Thank you for offering Wendy as an Animal Teacher.

I’m connecting with Wendy as I write this. When I first saw her picture I got the sense that she’s super sweet and concerned about people when they’re upset. I also got that she’s your best friend (or one of them).

I also get that she’s very friendly and gets excited and loves when you talk to her verbally. She also likes when you talk to her telepathically.

She says she has feelings. She also says she’s pretty content in life and happy.

I asked her if she has anything to say. She said she loves to go on walks. She also likes to play in leaves after they’ve fallen from the tree. She also said, “red.” I asked if there is something she likes that is red. I got that she has a red leash she likes.

I also got that she loves to run. She says she also likes to comfort you when you’re sad or upset somehow in some way and does a great job at comforting you.

She said she also knew the other dog in the ATH who you have listed as being in Spirit.

She said she likes to go on errands and places with you and likes when you have friends over. She loves when your friends give her attention.

She said she loves to snuggle and cuddle with you and that she sleeps with you and loves that.

I asked about her food. I got that she eats dry food and canned food chunks that have gravy or sauce. I also got “pizza” and I think an image of a slice of pizza. She also said, “ice cream” and an image of I think vanilla soft serve ice cream came to me.

She said she loves music and enjoys when you dance and sing to songs and when you sing to her/for her. She loves the energy! She also said that she has a happy dance and sometimes likes to dig or used to like to dig.

She said she has doggy friends, one of them being one of your friend’s dogs.

I also got something about a man being around.

She said she loves to swim! She also likes playing with tennis balls and sent me an image of a tennis ball. I also got that you used to play tennis???

She said you like to drink coffee or tea and sent me an image of a dainty cup (like an English tea cup).

I asked if there was anything else. She said, “no,” but that I can come back and talk to her again any time. I said, “Thank you. I’d love to talk to you again!” She said, “Let’s do it!” I said, “Let’s!” I thanked her for talking with me again and she thanked me for talking to her. I told her I love her and I petted her head and gave her a kiss. She licked me and walked away then started doing a scooting run while chasing a ball.

      Hi Martha!
Thank you so much for connecting with Wendy! You did a great job. The easiest way for me to give feedback is just to copy/paste your results with my comments in parentheses. 🙂

All of the following was very accurate:

I’m connecting with Wendy as I write this. When I first saw her picture I got the sense that she’s super sweet and concerned about people when they’re upset. I also got that she’s your best friend (or one of them). (Yep, I call her my “sensitive girl”)

I also get that she’s very friendly and gets excited and loves when you talk to her verbally. She also likes when you talk to her telepathically. (good to know!!)

She says she has feelings. She also says she’s pretty content in life and happy. (Yay!)

I asked her if she has anything to say. She said she loves to go on walks. She also likes to play in leaves after they’ve fallen from the tree. I also got that she loves to run. She says she also likes to comfort you when you’re sad or upset somehow in some way and does a great job at comforting you. (Yep, and yep :))

She said she also knew the other dog in the ATH who you have listed as being in Spirit. (Aw, I’m glad)

She said she likes to go on errands and places with you and likes when you have friends over. She loves when your friends give her attention. She said she loves to snuggle and cuddle with you and that she sleeps with you and loves that. 🙂

She said she loves music and enjoys when you dance and sing to songs and when you sing to her/for her. She loves the energy! (Also good to know!! 🙂

She also said that she has a happy dance and sometimes likes to dig or used to like to dig. (She used to dig when she was a pup and she definitely has a happy dance.)

She said she has doggy friends, one of them being one of your friend’s dogs. (Interesting!)

I also got something about a man being around. (My husband/her Dad)

She said you like to drink coffee or tea and sent me an image of a dainty cup (like an English tea cup). (I do drink tea. The cup suprised me since I don’t use a dainty one)

(Sounds like her. LOL)

On these, I didn’t resonate quite as much.
She also said, “red.” I asked if there is something she likes that is red. I got that she has a red leash she likes. (She has a pink leash (close) and a red snake. Maybe pink is red to her?)

I asked about her food. I got that she eats dry food and canned food chunks that have gravy or sauce. I also got “pizza” and I think an image of a slice of pizza. She also said, “ice cream” and an image of I think vanilla soft serve ice cream came to me. (She doesn’t eat dry food. She gets fresh meat and rehydrated veggies. It does make a gravy though when I add her supplements. She does get doggie ice cream. The pizza puzzles me!! LOL)

She said she loves to swim! She also likes playing with tennis balls and sent me an image of a tennis ball. I also got that you used to play tennis??? (She does have play balls though not specifically tennis balls. I’ve never played tennis. Swimming surprised me as she didn’t seem to like my parent’s pool but we can always try again. :))

All in all, very good and the majority was really accurate. Again, thank you for reaching out to her. I really appreciate it. (And I’m sure she did too). 🙂

      Hi Sandi,
Thanks for the feedback! I apologize for not responding to you sooner, but I didn’t know that I you had responded until now.
Anyway, I’m happy I was accurate on things! As for the “red”, maybe she was talking about the red snake. Maybe pink looks red to her, too. Cats and dogs don’t see colors exactly as humans do.
That’s great you feed her so well! In terms of the pizza, maybe she was saying she’d like pizza?? However, pizza isn’t healthy for animals. I’m not sure what I was getting on the dry food.
As for the tennis balls, maybe she was telling me about the balls she has. Maybe I misinterpreted on the tennis part. In regards to swimming, if she didn’t like the pool, maybe she was telling me something other than liking swimming-what I’m not sure. I wonder if she likes to swim, but if chlorine in pools bothers her and if that’s why she wasn’t interested in your parents’ pool-assuming there was chlorine in it? I’m not sure. Maybe she is interested in swimming, but not entirely sure about it or how to swim?

Anyway, thank you for the feedback. Wendy is such a wonderful and sweet girl! Give her a hug for me!

      Hi Martha
I had a short but awesome conversation with Wendy just now. It was a short one as this is the very first time I have tried this and I was nervous. She was great. She said she loved connecting with new people. She was so excited to hear that this is the beginning of my journey and that she could help me.
I told her of my fears and doubts and she was super persuasive in telling me to trust my self and not to doubt. She was soooo excited about this and was doing her happy dance to know she was helping me. She kept saying over and over “Don’t Doubt, Don’t Doubt Don’t Doubt”

So I will continue on with the process and try some more. I am so very new at this that I am progressing very slowly–but Wendy is such an amazing spirit and so excited and supportive. I could feel her energy and excitement. For me, this was huge. Give her a hug from me.

      Thank you Wendy and Martha
