Platinum MemberHI! Kay raised a great question about how to get permission to post her pet(s) for the Handout if she doesn’t feel like she can communicate clearly enough yet.
She brings up a very important point. Many students have felt the same way, but they went ahead and tried it and felt great when they discovered that they were able to communicate and get permission. For other students who got stuck, they simply asked us and we did it for them, and all is well.
Barb and I have discussed this issue in some depth, we’ve decided to drop this requirement entirely.
Now, you can post pictures of your pets in the Animal Teacher Handout as you wish, given the instructions.
Whether the animal does or doesn’t want to communicate, they will then act as a wonderful teacher for other students. Most pets are happy to help and talk eagerly when asked. Others are more reluctant or resistant. That’s normal and to be expected, and is a great learning experience for students.
The great news is, as you grow your skills with the beginning and advanced courses, and use the more specific Heart of the Conversation 7 Step Blueprint course, students can feel empowered to know exactly how to approach those animals who are reluctant or resistant so they can enjoy a successful conversation. The Heart of the Conversation Blueprint course teaches you how to ask the right questions in the right way and timing to get the best possible result.
Where it is most important to have the pet’s permission is with the Featured Animal Teacher of the Month game. The pet has to be willing to have the entire class talk to them in the Live Q&A Monthly Call, and to be available for all students during the month. Their person also has to be available to give feedback and support for other students in the Forum and also participate in the Live Call too.
This fun and powerful game is only for Gold members since it’s one of their bonuses.
Silver Members are encouraged to communicate with the Featured Animal Teacher and get feedback/support, but they are not eligible to present their pet for this game. Please remember you can upgrade to Gold for more personal attention when you need to.
Love,
Val
