Hi Val,
My friend Gloria asked me to post this question regarding her female dog, Darcy, who has been having problems with her left hip and leg. The leg buckles under sometimes when she walks. Gloria thinks it’s from a fall. Darcy has had chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, which have helped temporarily. Gloria was told it’s nerve damage. Can you check to see if that is what it is, and is it from falling, or is it something deeper? What would you recommend for treatment?
My next question is regarding Kemo. By now he has finished the homeopathic protocol that you prescribed for his vaccinosis, and hopefully I will be able to report that his lesion is healing. Would you check in with him to see how he is progressing? Is there something more that we can do for him to heal completely–externally, internally?
Thank you!

HI Val
I wonder if you can check in with DeeDee about her left front leg and and why she limps. It has been intermittent for a long time. The vet could never find anything wrong, then she went to the chiropractor for 4 or 5 months. Originally he said her neck and shoulder was messed up. He has straightened all that out and cannot figure out why she periodically limps. He thought it might be tendonitis and gave her a homeopathic med for that and said if it didn’t help, then he
would know that it was the bursa. It didn’t help. So he then gave her the other med for the bursa. Yes, it helped. It is not to be used constantly but only for few days at a time. It did help, but now it is not and her limp is more than intermittent but is becoming constant. I have another appointment for her on
Monday, May 23 and then will go back to the regular vet and ask for xrays. I just do not want her to go through the rest of her life in pain. Please help.
thanks

Hi Val,
I think I will be working this day but if so, will listen to the recording. My questions are: 1. I don’t understand what is going on with abused animals whose owners torture and kill them in inhumane ways. Or, strays that get targeted by people who abuse them. If animals are angels, healers, and guides, then how is it that they get subjected to this kind of treatment and have to suffer such horrors? How do these animals end up with such human monsters as their pets or targets? For years, I have carried troubled images that I can’t get out of my mind over such incidences and they weigh on my conscience. I hope to be able to release the charged emotions I have over them as I suspect they are interfering with my ability to do AC. 2. I used to feel sorry for cats and dogs I’d see or hear about in my and other countries, like the strays in third world countries that look bony and thin, or those that are kept in metal cages all their life like in South Korea and are bred for their meat, or those that are disrespected and shunned by their country’s culture, such as Islam where dogs are seen as impure, justifying the abuse and neglect of dogs. I wonder why when these dogs and cats decide to return to earth in a physical body, they would want to return to a body in which they would be subjected to these conditions? Then I read an article that made me think that these dogs and cats may have meaning to their “plights.” Whereas I was wanting to save them all and give them what I consider a good life and home, I realized that what I want for them may be ethnocentric. Can you tell me if they do in fact choose these lives for themselves in which they suffer, and if so, give me some examples of why. The only ones I remotely understand why are the ones bred for meat to provide nourishment for people.Thank you!

Hi Val,
Are we able to receive messages from non-verbal people like we do with animals? I work with non-verbal multi-handicapped students that are between 5-7 years old. I feel like it is similar to trying to communicate with our animals in a way. I am constantly trying to create IEP (Individual Education Program) goals for them. It would be cool to get real input from our students that would benefit all of us.Also a friend of mine is a singer/performer and wants to know if her kitties are ok with her traveling so much. Thank-You! George and Louis are the names of kitties.

Hi Val,
Could you check in with Cleo and ask her
1) why she keeps over grooming/licking her tummy. Is it allergy or stress related and is the medication helping her. For some reason the herbal anxiety medicine seems to work better than her allergy medicine! Haven’t been able to figure out if it could also be dust, pollen. (She started about 5.5 years ago when we moved into this apt, I thought it was the pollen from the trees around us). Her cardiologist suggested last year it could be stress related which shocked me, since she’s such a spoiled little princess with everything she could want…..
** How Does her skin feel, does it burn or itch?2) she’s also gained so much weight (16lb), is she uncomfortable at all?The vet recently gave me a new food for her to try and he swears by… I put a tiny bit in her food of raw beef and Wellness CORE but it triggered a bad reaction and she started licking off the hair on her inner back legs and I catch her biting and licking her paws and arms… I don’t know what to do to help her and I in turn feel helpless watching her. It’s taken a few days to calm down so she’s not biting as much. (The wet food he suggested is prescription diet- Metabolic which has Beef, Pork, liver but the 7th item is chicken which she’s allergic to) Yes, I know she’s allergic to chicken, I wasn’t sure if a tiny amount would effect her.
3) I know when she was a baby she had a repertory problem as a lot of kittens do, but she does this puffer fish breathing aka cheek breathing and I give her some rescue remedy and it stops~ could you ask her if her lungs are ok and why she does this. It’s a puzzle.
Thank you.

When you include pictures, please be sure to tell us the name of the specific animals so we can greet them by name. If the picture has multiple animals, please name them left to right. If you send multiple pictures, please describe the photo so we don’t call your cat by your dogs’ name. We want to get to know them and let them]=k[o=[w[us.[[[[[[[[[[[[[
\]’ Ok, this is really important. You can tell by the special m[[[[[[[ message included by my cat Rumery who supervised this entry. Getting to know each other by name builds our relationship just as it does people to people.Moderator

Hi Val
In light of what happened last weekend regarding the unneeded murdering of a beautiful silver back gorilla named Harambe, do you think we could take the time to connect with him, let him tell his story and hopefully the telling of it will help relieve him of some of the emotions, bewilderment, anger, etc at what happened. At the very least we could offer him love and ask his forgiveness for this inhumane act and for the ignorance of those that committed it.
Thanks

Barb asked me to post an update about DeeDee since was going back to the chiropractor before our call. Previously he had found problems in her neck and shoulder and one time her hip was out of place but on this last visit he could not find a problem anywhere. We discussed many things and he sent me to a local animal communicator/healer that he works with with amazing results. She immediately said Dee is full of aches and pains, that her muscles are all tight as she is trying to take on my stress (which I have since worked on and things seem to be much better here at home). She also said that the pain is not in the shoulder but the inside of her elbow which I believe as that is where she licks and chews. Said she needs a muscle relaxant but what he prescribed for her was not a homeopathic med and after reading the possible side effects I would not give it to her. Would stress and tight muscles cause her to have debilitating pain in her elbow???
So I would like your input before I take her in for xrays.
Thanks

I’m so sorry, poor pup. YES~ her elbow is a weak area so all the stress and pain can go to the weakest areas of ‘our’ bodies. I don’t think xrays are in order. Have you tried giving her rescue remedy just to alleviate some stress systems and mild pain? I can’t live without it here. (BTW you can take it too) I’m sure there are some other holistic muscle relaxers. I’ll see what I can come up with.

Duh! Thanks, Karen. Yes, I do have rescue remedy and even tried to sell some to a customer today who needed something for stress and is allergic to almost everything else she could take. Never even thought of it for Dee.
Funny how we can be so ‘smart’ about things and can help others and then when it is so close to home cannot even remember something like that. However, I was watching her tonight when I took them out for their walk and run and she may have favored her leg slightly, not really discernible and was definitely not limping. So maybe dealing with my own stress actually is helping her. Thanks so much Karen.

I have a new puppy Maddie who is proving to be very challenging when it comes to training especially house breaking and biting. We work on training every day with all the basic commands and in the mornings she is better at them. At night she becomes very nippy, frequently drawing blood on my hands and even my legs! She alternates between messing in the house or going outside to relieve herself. She can become aggressive in the late afternoon and evening. I do reward her when she does things right, but I don’t understand her Jeckell and Hyde personality. I’m starting to wonder if she belongs here or was meant for someone else? I don’t like to yell at her, I try to stay calm and assertive, but that doesn’t always work!

Hi Val! I have a few questions. I am a newbie here on the Forum, as well as being a new student.
1.) Will I, at some point, be able to communicate with an animal without having a picture in front of me? Can you commune without a picture?
2.) What are your thoughts on reincarnation? A Spiritual Teacher of mine years ago told me that humans do not reincarnate into animal form……though animals can reincarnate into human form if their soul has advanced enough, but not the other way around. What you say on that?
3.) Do animals have individual souls as well as part of a group soul…ie cats with a Diva Overseer then a soul group for dogs with a Diva, birds, bugs, ect ect. Just curious.
4.) I have a stray cat that I adopted 2yrs ago, when I took him in to vet for neutering, I was informed he had Feline Aids. I immediately told her that I thought it be best to put him down…. she pulled at my heart strings and told me he could live a long live and that he would not transmit the dis-ease to my other kitties unless through blood. I have just recently weened him off the prednisone that he has been taking since he came to me. My tender-hearted female has never liked him (still doesn’t), could it be because she can smell the sickness in him? She has not really been the same kitty since he has been here, ie not as happy and content as she used to be. I have mixed feelings about this little guy (beause of both those reasons) and wonder if he would be more content in Kitty Heaven. Or am I just projecting all my emotions into the ‘stew pot’? I don’t have a pic of him yet on the forum but if you could give me any insight into this scenario, it would help me a bunch.
Thank you so much, I Am Grateful to be here. Pamela Ferarese 🙂 Boise, IDPam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

Val,
Am I correct in my thinking: When intending to communicate with my animal friends, I simply drop into Theta Brain Wave? Being in a Shamanic State (altered state) of Reality; which is to say, so totally immersed in a ‘Present Awareness State’ that I have elevated to Higher Spiritual “Attunement”? Being fully present in my Heart Space disrupts Beta (ego) chatter from even attempting to interfere and thus remain silent. Oh, to get to a level in my ability to easily fall ‘into’ and ‘up to’ that fully AWAKE State of Awareness – when listening (with many senses) kicks into gear – hence communication will be clear! (tee hee, that rhymed). Dialog happens magically. Yes?Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.
