Debbie has volunteered to host her Rabbit, Thumper, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) during September 2025. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
We encourage all of you to connect with Thumper now and throughout the month.
Tune into Thumper first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Thumper feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc. Ask Thumper ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.

Hi Debbie,
When I connected with Thumper, the energy that came through felt calm, relaxed, easygoing, and very wise. He gave me the impression that he enjoys being petted, but prefers petting over being held.
I let him guide the conversation, and the first thing he shared was that he loves carrots. He also brought up something he can lick—feels sweet, almost paste-like, rather than solid or liquid. He mentioned he hasn’t had it in a while but really enjoys it. Thumper also expressed that he likes helping teach people. He said he has communicated with people before, though not in a large group setting, so he’s looking forward to the opportunity.
When I asked what he enjoys, I saw an image of him hiding in what looked like a cardboard tunnel. He also shared that he likes munching on his food, exploring, and sniffing new scents. I felt his appreciation for the warmth of the sun, almost as though he’d like more time in it. I also got a flash of a bell near his enclosure, which seemed to serve as a way for him to communicate his needs by making noise.
I asked Thumper what other foods he enjoys besides carrots, and I saw an image of a radish, a turnip, and broccoli. For treats, I picked up on a soft, cream-colored chewy one, shaped a bit like a Hershey’s Kiss.
Overall, Thumper did not indicate that he’s in pain or discomfort. He did share that he sometimes feels a little tired or low on energy, which gave me the impression that he may be considered a senior now. He noted that he doesn’t have quite the energy he once had. I sensed a little tension in his upper shoulders. For his digestion, he showed me that when his stomach feels off, he’ll eat grasses and hay because it helps him feel better.
When I asked about his role or life purpose, he told me it is to be a teacher—to share wisdom and knowledge.
For messages, Thumper wanted to share that he loves you very much and knows how well you care for him. He sent me a sweet image of himself sitting peacefully on your lap while you pet him lovingly.

Hi Tatiana, I promise I didn’t read your post until after I uploaded my talk with Thumper and was so pleasantly surprised that he showed me some of the same things he showed you! That was encouraging for me. ☺️ Just had to share because some of what I wrote looks like I may have read your post first. LOL 😄 Sending love and hugs!

Hi Titiana .. You were spot on about Thumper in so many ways!!.. He doe’s prefer petting over being picked up or held and he is a very wise, calm, peaceful Bunny!
He may have enjoyed carrots, but I don’t give him that, only carrot tops as sugar content!..
Lick something sweet like paste could be banana!.. he goes crazy over banana and sometimes it’s a small past like piece… and he gets plenty!.. maybe not to him!.. lol
Yes, Thumper enjoyed communicating with a small group about 4- 6 people before coming to Val’s class..
Spot on!.. I made Thumper a big box/ tunnel where he can chew things, forage and I throw in his pellets as well..
He does love the sun.. he use to be able to be outside in it, but not here and only sun for couple hours a day where he lays..
The Bell is right beside Thumper’s play area and where his box/ tunnel is and it’s my flight cage where my 2 birds play with a bell!
As for those foods you mentioned,.. he doesn’t get any of those, he gets more like leafy lettuce, herbs, carrot tops, pieces of apple and berries, leaves..and Banana 🙂
Thumper does have low energy these days,.. could be diet related, ..he is about 5 yrs old ( middle aged),..
Yes his hay gets him feeling better as I’ve mentioned to him before when his tummy (digestive track) his bothering him, I say, you need to eat your hay Thumper ,it will get things moving so you’ll feel better!.. It is the main source of fiber that really is important for his digestion.
I can picture Mr. Thumper being a teacher!.. He is wise and full of knowledge.. very intuitive!!
Thumper loves laying on my arm and give me kisses, we cuddle every evening and every morning a specially and he goes to sleep while I just give him rub a do’s :).. He sometimes purrs with his teeth and that’s when he is happy and liking the pets!!

Hi Debbie,
I’ve just had a brief, i itial converaation with Thumper. His energy feels old and wise and his fur feels velvety.
I introduced myself and asked if he wanted to talk. He asked what about, so I told him I’m learning and not always sure what to talk about. Did he have anything he wanted to share. He asked why I want to communicate with animals if I don’t know what to talk about, so I explained that people make decisions on behalf of animals, but I know they have their own thoughts,so I want to give them a voice. He told me to slow down then and practice just being. I talk too fast and don’t think about what I want to say. It’s ok to take it slower.
I asked if he had a mate and got ‘no’ but he likes being the only rabbit. More snuggles for him. I got the word ‘snugglebunny.’
I asked if there were any other animals living with him and got that there had been once, but not now. I felt a hint of sadness with that. I had a thought of a cat in my subconscious.
That’s all I got for now, but will try again another time. -
Hi Melanie.. You did great!! Mr. Thumper is about 6yrs old and he sure is wise!.. He told somebody, he would like to be a teacher!
His fur is like velvety soft like angora fur and flies threw the air and sticks to eyelashes..lol
Thumper did say he wanted to be a teacher, so letting you know to slow down your thoughts and just be, shows you too, he is wise and you picked that up!!
Snuggle Bunny big time!!.. Mr. Thumper and I cuddle every morning and every evening pretty much.. It’s my favorite thing to do with Mr. Thumper :).. I also call him “My ray of sunshine”
The kitten you saw (had to think back), was when I fostered one for a short time for our rescue group, and he was in Mr. Thumpers pen area as I had free roaming birds and Mr. Thumper would sniff noses between the bars on the pen!.. I never knew he had any attachments to the kitten!.. And I am happy to hear that he is good with no other Bunny as I didn’t know if he was lonely and wanted a buddy as I heard that bunnies need a companion!..so that made me feel good he is happy being the only snugglebunny! 🙂You did great!.. Thank you for connecting with Mr. Thumper!.. Now I know why he wanted my attention and wake me up Between 12:30-2:00 am!!.. He probably wanted to say ” Hey Mom, wake up, two people talked to me!”.. lol… He wouldn’t let me sleep so I had to not have him in my bed last night and shut the door!.. Now I know 🙂

Hi Thumper and Debbie!
How cute Thumper is! I reached out to Thumper tonight, 9/5/25 at 7:10 pm US Central Time, to see if he would like to talk. I sensed male energy, so I am guessing Thumper is a boy. I immediately heard from him “6 years” so I wonder if that is his age. I also got parsley from him. I asked if he liked parsley or didn’t like it and I got that he likes it. He showed me that he likes to burrow his nose under things, he likes to hide his face. He said it relaxes him, and he feels safe when he does it.He says he likes to explore and finds it enjoyable. He likes to smell things, new smells. He showed me a yellow flower and said it reminds him of the sun and makes him feel like the sun is right there with him. He said the sun is life, he loves it. Not so much laying in the sun rays but he loves seeing it and being around sunlight.
He showed me that he likes to snuggle – I at first thought he meant with his mom, but he showed me another bunny. He said there was or is another bunny who he snuggles/snuggled with. He said it is very comforting to him.
I asked if he could share some wisdom with me and here was his message: “Just be. Feel the Earth, the Sun, embrace nature. Feel the energy come from the Earth ground and up into your feet, to your soul. It heals! Be brave and strong. Time is infinite. Nothing passes, nothing dies, it just transforms.” What a wise message!
I asked if he had anything he wanted me to tell his mom Debbie and he said to maybe give him a burrow bed or blanket, something he can burrow/hide in. I got an image of something similar to those little dog beds that have the attached top blanket where they can go in like a cave. 😁
I thanked him for talking to me and sharing his time with me. I told him I loved him and hope he enjoys the month talking with everyone! What a sweet bunny he is! ❤️ Thank you for sharing him with us this month!

Thank you so much Shelly for connecting with Mr. Thumper!!..Yes, Thumper is a boy!..6 yrs old, is actually pretty close to what I thought!.. I thought 5.. so he could very well be!
Thumper loves parsley!.. most herbs he enjoys!
Thumper loves to burrow his nose and face in my blankets and has teeth marks and scratch marks on every sheet, blanket, comforter,..pillows..lol.. He does have a bunny friend that is a stuffed animal that is a rabbit with my 2 bandanas from my last 2 dogs in spirit on him .. he feels very safe there and it’s by his box/tunnel for privacy and on soft shaggy carpet!
He loves to explore as he has full excess to all my space/ his space except the bathroom..
The yellow flower is Dandilions!… he loves them and I can see how he would relate to the sun and summer for those! Thumper loved being able to see the sun and feel the breeze where here.. he may see the suns reflection on things.. Our new home will have windows where he can look out and lay by if he chooses and more room to explore!
Wise message from Thumper!!.. funny, that’s exactly what I do most days when I can be outdoors, I meditate and connect with mother earth, and feel the love from ground up and from the sun down, surrounded by nature! .. so healing!!
Thumper transformed from a kitten when I was a young teen, he wasn’t with me long as he was hit by a car and seriously injured and we had to put Little one to sleep.. Thumper had mentioned that in the other group!

Hi Debbie, I’m pretty new at this so bear with me! I reached out to Thumper and the first thing he said was that he liked to eat lettuce. He said he likes to hop around the house and hide under things. Sometimes it’s funny if you can’t find him. He said he loves to be stroked both on his back and sides and his ears, he says it feels really good. He says he likes to go outside but only gets to go out for short periods of time and he has to be supervised as it can be dangerous for him to be out alone. He says he has his own special box to sleep in and that he feels very safe there. Safety is important to him. He told me that we need to live in the present more and not worry about other things. He seems to be self-aware and thoughtful. Thanks for putting him out there to communicate with. Denise

Hi Denise.. You did awesome!!!.. Mr. Thumper loves his fresh, crunchy lettuce, he gets that twice a day.
He loves being free roaming with plenty of places to hide and explore!.. He does hide on me sometimes and I’m sure laughing at me looking all over for him!..lol
Mr. Thumper loves to be petted on the top of his head and back, his ears and his sides of his cheeks ,he literally makes a purring sound with his teeth.
He use to be able to go outside in a dog pen but not now and it’s funny, I guess he understood me as I told him it’s too dangerous out there for him as well as a bunny disease he could get from wild bunnies!..
Mr. Thumper does have his own box that I made into a bed on top for him with blankets and a hide away with foraging material inside and he feels really safe there and warm
Funny you mentioned and others.. the word “safety” as I wonder if I gave him that as I’m always concerned about our safety where we currently live!.. I will have to rea sure him and let him know he is safe, so thank you for that!!
Amazing!!.. Mr. Thumper sounds like me!..lol.. I always say ” Live in the present moment” and let those worries that haven’t happened go!.. Well, Mr. Thumper sure is a wise old soul!..Thank you Denise for connecting with Mr. Thumper!

You and Melanie both connected in the wee hours in the morning where Thumper was trying to wake me up and kept bouncing on my bed, I didn’t know why so I had to literally shut my door and not have him sleep with me during the night!.. He was letting me know that ” Hey Mom, wake up!.. I got to talk to people!!”.. lol .. he was very excited!.. Now I know why 🙂

Thanks Debbie for the feedback and sorry for getting you woke up! I’m glad that our animal friends are understanding some of the things that we do we do for their safety and not because we don’t care about what they want. I’m sure prey animals really get that safety thing. Thanks again for your kind response.

Prey animals live most times I would think in “Survival Mode”.. same as our cats that have lost their home and we call them Feral cats!.. they end up in survival mode

Hi Debbie, during the Q&A call, I felt like Thumper was very excited to see see us all at first about being a teacher. He said I’m very wise you know. I saw an image of him on my desk in front of me, then of him lying across my chest and shoulder, enjoying being stroked down his ears and back. His energy felt laid back, watchful and wise. I picked up that he was clairaudient and clairsentient. I felt his nose twitching and tickly whiskers.
I got a sensation of him scratching and touching wood. I sensed that he doesn’t like being picked up initially, but loves the snuggles that follow.
I picked up that he is a soul mate, teacher and guardian.
I asked how he knows that I have a good connection and he said “I hear you.”-

Thumper laying across your chest and shoulder, I take it.. across your heart?.. He was giving you healing energies!
Thumper has never minded me petting him from head and down his back.. I use to groom him all the time that way as well, on his back. He is very wise and observant, he enjoys laying where he can see everything but be little hidden at the same time.
I do feel Thumper is Clairsentient, as he seems to really feel my energies and lets me know how I am doing (mirrors me and my energy!) clairaudient for sure!!.. His ears are like bunny ears!.. He picks up everything.. I feel he can hear outside the walls as well!
Thumper always likes to scratch the wooden floors before he lays there!..
I think Thumper never enjoyed being picked up as it would be related to vets, groomers or me having to give him medicine and I don’t know his story for 8mths of his life before me as I got him from a shelter!.. He does LOVE his snuggles and special snuggles for those times of stress..
I’ve always felt that Thumper is my Soulmate (Soulbunny) and teacher, as I have learned so much from Thumper more so then any of my little guys!.. and guardian/protector!.. If Thumper felt an energy off someone that I may not care for, he picks that up and will block doors, entrance ways and have his ears both pointing straight forward meaning business!.. lol.. almost like a watchdog!

Hi Debbie and Thumper,
On the class call today, I connected with Thumper and here is how our conversation went. ☺️He told me he feels good today. He feels like he is on a stage, everyone watching him. He said it makes him feel like the star of the show. He says that is an exciting feeling. He said that mom has been giving him more attention ever since he became the star this month. He loves that extra attention from mom. He said the attention is not just physical, but spiritual. He feels closer to her now. So grateful.
I went into the “be the animal” exercise with him and felt his nose twitch and his whiskers tickle. His little feet tucked under his tummy. Ears warm. Mind at peace. No mind chatter. Felt his tail wiggle. He has a calm, peaceful frequency about him.
I saw a pink color around him, soft pink, like a rose quartz color. He has a wise energy about him, strong but peaceful. He is full of love energy.
I didn’t see any blotches in his Wei Qi. Looked good, healthy, no concerns being raised to me by him. He says he is focused on his spirit energy and not physical. He said his spirit is strong! Feels stronger now because he gets to share his wisdom with all of us this month.
I then was drawn to his eyes. He told me that he sees beyond the physical visuals with his eyes. He sees beyond the physical veil. He sees our spiritual health and feels that humans can be a “mess” as humans seem to be too focused on what we “see”. He says there is SO much more than that. He says we need to let it go so we can see beyond the veil too.
I sent him my love and thanked him for another fabulous talk! ❤️

Hi Shelly!.. I have been giving Thumper more attention since being the Teacher as I was letting him know how happy I was that he gets to talk to lots of people and share his thoughts and feelings!.. and also letting him know about our new adventure, and where my energies are at!.. I’m glad he feels closer to me!.. We weren’t able to be together physically for long periods and now we’re able to spend more quality time together and talk.
Thumper is really calm and very laid back!

Today really perked Thumper up!!.. He is like the Energizer bunny right now!!..normally he rests at this time, but he is zipping around, chewing his cardboard chew toy.. very happy and at peace that he was heard and by so many!!

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for allowing me to connect with Thumper! This is what I picked up from him on the call:He approached me excitedly and said hey I remembered you from the other animal communicator teacher class. I picked up that he is shy but is open to meeting new people. Other than that he has a joyful, playful personality. He said that he used to be full of it back then with a grin. lol I felt that he is a male that is around 6 years old. I felt that he is a young soul and has been with you in 6 lifetimes. He said that his purpose in this lifetime is to help you through all of the challenges that y’all face together. Also picked up a guardian role as well. I picked up how he connects is what unique about his frequency. I picked up that his favorite communication method is smelling. He gave the hay and parsley smell. I picked up 88% life force energy for him. No holes, tears etc in his energy field. I picked up a rainbow aura that expands 5” out. His chakras/energy field are all good. He has a solid balance. However I did picked up a sharp pain(6 on pain level) on my head behind my right ear. I asked him about it, he told me that it was his and it started hurting all of the sudden. He has a nice soft feeling coat. He enjoyed being touched between his ears on his head. However, He doesn’t like being touched on his lower back. His voice sounds deep to me. His message to you is don’t worry mom, it will all work out. Just stay calm, stay grounded and go with the flow. His message for me was ease into your new life slowly and gently. No need to hurry. Also make sure to take care of yourself. At the end of the day, the relationship with yourself is the most important one. Again, thank you! He is such a beautiful soul being!

Hi Alana!.. Thumper is shy but eager for today!.. Thumper use to be full of it!… lol, from doing zoomies and binkies, to chewing all cords, holes and scratch marks on all sheets, blankets, pillow cases, to rattling the house in the wee hours of the night with “construction time” with his boxes, you would hear pounding, and loud thumps as he would really tug and pull and chew!.. get into just about everything including pulling the pee pads and paper from the bottom of the bird cage.. pull it out of the bars and see what bird seed he could eat!
Thumper is 6yrs. old! and he has been in this life time twice!!.. he was a little kitten for a short time when I was younger.. I do feel he is my soulmate.. so makes sense he’s been in a few! He has been my rock with all the challenges I’ve/we’ve been through!.. guardian for sure!
Thumper does have keen sense of smell for energies even through my walls, I know he feels and senses ..
Funny.. you got his life force at 88% and I picked up 89%!.. so life force good!
I know Thumper loves his head and his cheeks more so then his back!.. I guess he tolerates it.. (good to know)!
I have been worried in the last few days about our big move!.. So thank you for that!.. I will stay calm and ground myself, and go with the flow!.. Needed that reminder! He sure is a wise!Thank you Alana,

I got from Thumper.. Very happy when I connected and started kissing me in the eyeball.. lol,
I saw deep blues and green with his aura , not physical issues.. everything in contact. He had a low voice and sounded like an English man.

Thank you for sharing Thumper with us, he is an amazing being!
On the call he came right up to me and it felt like he was activating my heart centre, and it then looked and felt like he was kicking at something in that area with his back legs and I wrote he ‘crumbled the last of the wall’ around my heart. I am so grateful for that.
I wrote that he is the Universe. I felt clairaudience was his preferred way to connect and that he loves being held close to your chest. He came right up and I felt like I was holding him against my heart. I felt he has been on Earth before but not as a rabbit. He said to me ‘release yourself from the chains you have made. You are free, you are whole’.
I saw a huge midnight blue aura with silver sparkles. So beautiful.
I did feel something perhaps going on in his left eye and left ear when I did a very quick check in on his body. His life force was immense!! I felt 100% or near enough!
His purpose is to help people and to help them truly understand every being is equal and important.
He said to tell you that he loves you and that you need to meditate!
I also wrote something Val said – magic is sometimes in the detail and putting here just in case that was for you too.I also wrote and underlined I must connect with Thumper again. So I will keep you posted.

Here is what I got from Thumper. I haven’t read the other posts so forgive me if I’m way off or repeating things. I don’t want to get influenced.
The first thing I felt was that Thumper has a deep commanding voice, strong opinions and that good manners are very important to him.
I got that he has great wisdom to offer. He immediately asked me: How can I help you
I asked about why souls choose to come back to bodies.
He said: I’ve done this many times. It is the frisson of life. A new life each time. You get to know new people (all beings meant by this). Don’t limit your love. It really can be real and enourmous. Love is real.
He showed me himself sitting up, looking around, curious, active.
I couldn’t see his aura so I asked him to show it to me. I then saw him shining all around.
Healthwise: I think he may need some attention to his heart. His back left leg may be a bit sore. He is very sensitive. He seems to get headaches – possibly from household cleaning products.
He showed me himself hopping around and looking out of a window.
I was curious about him going outside or living inside.
He said: Being restricted is part of the mission. We are different species. Our needs are particular. It is important to realise this. Being very strong on the inside is necessary for this due to having to depend on others for care. He showed me Relaxing and trusting the universe.
He likes being stroked with one finger undre the chin, his side cheek by the ear and the back of the neck, where he is possibly a bit stiff.
He showed me he likes leaping and jumping.
He said he came to Bring Love.
His message to you: Sharing Love.I hope you can make sense of some of this.
