Describe one communication experience this week.
• Animal’s name & species

• What surprised you?
I connected to a species which is so common here and which I have never tried….birds, and specifically, a blackbird. Years ago, I had done an exercise on spirit guides, and a blackbird came through. After Brownie’s passing, I had asked the blackbird for help, and on certain days, one appeared. There have been a few instances where one has come very close, though usually they are on tall trees. I asked for a message, and seemed to get an affirmation that it is indeed a guide, and suggests that I dive deeper. I’m not sure what that means, or if it was my imagination, so I have to introspect. Perhaps it has something to do with the investigate step of the Ho’oponopono process taught by Val.3. Celebration & Gratitude
What are you celebrating this week?
Share one thing you’re grateful for and one win, validation, or breakthrough.
I am grateful that the weather improved today and we had a dry, sunny day. The incessant rains due to cyclonic conditions over the last few days led to huge problems for the dogs.4. Discovery of the Week

Platinum Member1) I listened to two of Joe Dispenza’s meditations from his Becoming Supernatural series. One focused on the future self, and the other was the pineal activation meditation. I did both of these a long time ago, so it was nice to revisit them again.
2) I connected with two animal clients this week: a pug in spirit named Ruby and a cat named Kyle. With Ruby, many of the questions revolved around whether she remembered certain things from her life, such as having puppies and the day she was rescued. What I noticed was that Ruby seemed a little detached from some of these questions. I think this may be because she passed five years ago and lived to be 16 years old, so I got the sense that some of those memories or details were no longer as important to her. With Kyle, his guardian shared that he had recently started grinding his teeth and pawing at his face after eating. When I tuned in, I was immediately drawn to the upper left side of his mouth and picked up on red, inflamed gums. I also felt that a tooth in that area was sensitive, although the gum inflammation came through first. My impression was that there may be an infection in that area. Everything I received during this session flowed really well, and I felt very confident communicating with him.
3) I am grateful that I was able to take care of my flat tire issue and that I noticed it while I was at home rather than when I was out somewhere else. My validation this week came from hearing other animal communicators’ experiences with animals in spirit. I found that others have had similar experiences with the types of questions and themes that tend to come through during spirit sessions. It was reassuring to know that it isn’t just me and that other communicators have noticed similar patterns.
4) My new insight this week is to continue being open-minded during spirit sessions. Even the small details I receive may end up being significant confirmations for the guardian. I also received a huge confidence boost from the health case I worked on this week. Usually, when I do body scans, what I receive isn’t always 100% clear. During this session, though, I was drawn very strongly to a specific area and began picking up information right away. It helped reinforce my trust in what I am receiving.
5) Yes, I connected with Beau and received feedback.
6) This week, I’ve noticed that I seem to be answering people’s questions before they even ask them out loud. I also had a feeling that a certain client was going to reschedule, and sure enough, they did. Another time, I was thinking about someone, and they texted me shortly afterward. I had been waiting for their response for two months, so that was a nice surprise!

Platinum MemberACCOUNTABILITY CHALLENGE Week 24th – 30th September
1. MEDITATION
This week, as well as the daily chakra meditation, I did Val’s Meditation on Mindfulness. Funnily enough, right at the end a word came into my mind: HLATA. I googled it and found the meaning – to wash, from Xhosa, the language I spoke or at least understood a bit when I was a baby in a South African village.2. ANIMAL COMMUNICATION
With a biggish group of house martins sitting in a row on a telegraph line right in front of my window. They told me they’ve been training for the long migration flight and now they’re ready to leave. They seemed quite regimental, all lined up like that, and then – in a flash – they all flew off, totally in unison. Then I understood that their training involved not only getting strong and skilled in flight but also to move together almost as one sole unit, for protection and safety.
Also, I’ve been playing with my pendulum!! (Only on 2nd lesson so far). I practiced cleansing negative energies and restoring beneficial ones, on 2 dogs, aged 15 and 12, and one cat, aged 19, to help with health/pain issues, and they all told me they felt very nice afterwards, as well as yawning, licking and chewing etc in release. While I worked on her, my cat chatted to me, remembering different events we’ve lived through together. She also told me that another of my cats wants a little more attention from me, which makes sense as he’s been meowing and waiting for me to stroke him before joining the others for meals. (He’s feral and doesn’t come in the house, though I’ve told him he’s very welcome.)3. CELEBRATION AND GRATITUDE
I’m celebrating that my dog who was poorly is still very much with us. Also, that my toolbox of ways to help is expanding and evolving. I’m so grateful to be here. It is really leading into new dimensions!
Practicing with the pendulum again, but this time on my rescue mare who is still recovering from deep trauma in her early years; afterwards she went into an almost trance-like state for about twenty minutes at a time when she is normally busy grazing not sleeping, and when she eventually came out of it, I could feel her deep love and gratitude towards me, which was magical and made me feel really warm inside.4. DISCOVERY OF THE WEEK
I experimented with Ho’oponopono, first I need to learn how to spell it!!!
We live in a converted barn next to an old farmhouse and for some time I have felt uncomfortable at night with just one corner of the living area. The ‘story’, imagined or otherwise, that came to me insistently is this: about a hundred years ago, a servant girl called Mary who lived and worked with the household of this wealthy farm, fell in love with a labourer from France who came there looking for a job. She got pregnant and he abandoned her. Heartbroken and terrified of the disgrace, Mary hanged herself from a beam in that very corner of what was then the barn.
I did the Ho’oponopono with Mary and all the participants and contributors I could think of, and I THINK – HOPE – the presence is gone. It definitely feels more peaceful.5. FAT/ANIMAL PRACTICE LAB
I’ve communicated with two animals from the lab this week, awaiting feedback.6. INTUITION DEVELOPMENT
I did the ‘What makes for a Great Life’ exercise with a dog from the practice lab, and his answer was so wise it inspired me to ask one of my own dogs, who also gave a wise and very sweet answer, which completely resonated with me, knowing his personality.
I’ve also practiced body scanning, on myself and my animals to see what comes up. I need to practice much more, I don’t think I’m very good at it. My strongest clair is definitely hearing a voice in my head, and sometimes claircognizance. I hardly ever experience a physical feeling in communications; mostly it’s a voice. I definitely need to work a lot on the others. -

2.Frog-It hopped over to me and then away from me. It jumped all over the lawn. No water in sight it could reach. I was surprised to see the frog since it was so out of place hopping on the front lawn.
3.Celebrating Layla getting her fecal transplant to help with food allergies. Happy with allergy test results that are helping. Grateful for Archangel Ariel and Archangel Uriel helping Layla with her healing. Grateful for my friend Christine who talked to Layla and gave me some advice.
4.My discovery was the frog on dry land. A totem maybe with a message?
5. No, I have been too stressed over Layla’s diarrhea and the fact we may have to sell the house because money is running out.
6. Watching the trees changing color in our area and guessing which one will be next.

2 Animal Communication
Gracie is an unknown crossbreed, possibly part Staffy. She is sweet but excitable six-month-old female with one blue eye and one brown eye. When we meet, she tends to jump up and around me. Now that she is getting bigger and stronger, I get pushed (in a friendly way) hard by her, and I could lose my balance. Her guardian sometimes finds it difficult to manage her pulling on the lead, which could cause problems for both him and those around her.
We often unintentionally meet in a large, quiet area outside of a building, where the guardian visits. I suggested using a training lead to give her more freedom to release some of her energy while still allowing her guardian to maintain control. He agreed to obtain one. Her guardian wants the best for Gracie, as he did with his previous dogs.
I used a method that came naturally to me, as it has in other similar circumstances. I connected with Gracie and communicated with her about the situation. She never took her gaze away from my hand as I raised a clenched fist with my forefinger extended and slowly drew an imaginary line towards the ground. Her demeanour and behaviour changed noticeably. The guardian’s friends commented that they could not believe Gracie’s reaction.
3. Celebration & GratitudeTo Charlie – the person I occasionally bump into, but don’t know very well, was willing to trust me with his beautiful dog – Gracie and took on board my suggestions
Grateful to Tuxedo Princess and Tabby Princess
4. Discovery of the Week
Trust myself. Be in the moment – present, and I can do this work. it often feels so natural to do so
5. Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Practice Lab
Received, but not fully read the feedback from Mel.
6. Intuition Development:
Walking along a quiet canal path on a warmish day, with little sun, to observe my surroundings and tune into the various noises from waterfowl to nearby streets to barges. Thankfully heard the sound of a bike behind me in time for me to give way – bikes are often ridden too fast on the often crowded footpath…. aaagh

Platinum Member1. Which meditations did you do?
Heart wisdom meditation
Grounding meditation
Quieting thoughts meditation2. Which animal(s) did I communicate with? What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience.
I connected with Sue S’s Scarlett, and shared in the forum. I then connected with JoJo’s Cinder’s-in-spirit, which proved to be a very deep and meaningful conversation. Unfortunately, I couldn’t share in the forum, as when I clicked on the link it took me to someone else’s page, so I’ll share what I got here:
I connected with Jo Jo today and had a wonderful conversation. Jo explained that she is an old soul and her purpose is and was also whilst in physical form a connection between worlds – life and spirit.
She told me that she has had another life since she was with Jo-Jo, but was not -I’m not sure whether she meant not long with her, or not long ago with her. She said she helped Jo Jo with her connections when he was alive, but she was less experienced then. He still helps her now, as a form of Gatekeeper, protecting and allowing the energies she needs to come through. She said JoJo was quite Spiritual.
She seemed to really see me and told me I need to work with my gatekeepers too. I know who they are, but I need to give clear direction and decide whether I truly want to connect or not. She said I’m currently only opening the doors half, way, ready to shut them again when I get scared. I can’t truly connect from a place of fear. This isn’t something I can be half in, half out of, so I need to make a decision to commit if I truly want it to happen. I can absolutely do it. She said she can help me and that is her job, so if I want the help let her know. It was an amazing connection.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one & celebrate a win.
I’m grateful that Beau was chosen as the FAT this month and for all the fabulous conversations people have been having with him.
I’m also grateful to JoJo’s Cinders for her direct, yet supportive advice.
4. Discovery of the Week.
Instead of simply asking what you discovered, I’m inviting you to go deeper.
Ask yourself questions like:
• What NEW awareness did I gain this week?
• What surprised me?
• What did I validate?
• What challenged my assumptions?
• What experiment did I try?
• What mistake taught me something?
• What breakthrough did I have?
What new question am I now curious to investigate?
I’ve been finding it tricky balancing all my commitments and managing to find time, without barking dogs, to sit and practice my communications. Many have been therefore quite short and I don’t feel I’ve been picking up a lot, so I’ve been starting to doubt myself again. This time I decided to test my communication by choosing another animal to communicate with straight after the first. This time I had a much deeper and meaningful conversation, which showed me that I have to remember sometimes the animals might not want to say too much, or particularly care for the conversation we’re having.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
I tried, but not getting too much. I’m trying to just be calm with him instead.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? What changed because I practised?
I Connected with a traumatised dog that had just been rescued, but separated from his buddy who was considered a dangerous dog and was taken away to be euthanised. The dog was completely shut down and had been carried into the rescue on a sheet.
I connected and listened to his fear, explained what would have happened to his friend and that it would have been peaceful for her and I did some Hooponopono healing with him. A couple of days later I saw a picture of the dog interacting with a staff member. -

Platinum MemberThank you for letting me share my Reflection this week.
The meditation I practiced was Meditations on Mindfulness: Releasing Thoughts. I really like the practice of coming out of the meditation with a smile. I had never thought to do that before.I had many voices in my mind when I sat down to communicate with Beau this week: Maybe I’ve had too much coffee to do this? I have no idea what I’m doing. Whatever comes up won’t really be valid or believable… yadda, yadda, yadda.
I was reminded that some animals want to communicate with us just as much as we want to communicate with them—even animals who don’t really know us.
I was surprised that this week, whenever I would do a walking meditation, the image of Beau would come to my mind. I remembered the first time I saw his photo during the question-and-answer Zoom call. In my mind, the video “played”: he would come up to me and nudge me with his nose.
It wasn’t until I finally had the courage to sit down, set an intention, and ask to talk to him that he let me know he had been waiting for me to communicate with him. He let me know that he knew I was nervous, but he reminded me that I knew how to do this, too, and that he was going to help me. He would just need a minute of my time—as long as I was completely present with him for that entire minute.
I doubted that he really only needed one minute, so I calmed myself down and verified it using muscle testing. That was when I realized that, just as big things can come in small packages, big moments can happen in small amounts of quality time.
I was able to calm down so much that I could hear my heartbeat, and then I could hear and feel our hearts beating together.
Once I finished the communication, wrote up my experience and pressed “send” to share with Mel, I received a text.
The text was from my friend’s son-in-law. He knew I was interested in purchasing his secondhand vehicle, and he wanted to let me know that although it was advertised on Facebook and there had been some interest, he wanted to sell it to me at a reduced price if I was still interested.
The surprising parts of the experience are many, but here are just a few: the timing of the text; his three-month-old son’s name is Bo (pronounced the same as Beau); the vehicle is black, just like Beau’s fur; and I had just enough savings in my bank account to purchase the vehicle—with $200 and a few cents to spare!
I cannot walk away from this moment without knowing the importance of that single, heartfelt, fully present moment with Beau. It was a gift on so many levels.
I am celebrating purchasing a new-to-me used vehicle that will now be nicknamed “Beau”.
The validation for me is that no matter how nervous I am, or how much I worry that I’m not communicating the “right way,” I need to keep showing up. Animal teachers like Beau will help teach, coach, and guide me. I’m not alone in this.
I also practiced the Everything Is Energy Intuition Development Exercise. After taking a breath and closing my eyes, I tuned into the energy around me in my almost-finished tiny home. At first, I saw everything that still needed to be done and felt like there wasn’t enough.
After shifting into love energy, as promised, magic happened.
Suddenly, I noticed what I did have. I shifted into gratitude. Images of all the people who had helped us with the construction came to mind, as well as the first dinner we had in this space just the other night.
The solar batteries, which had sounded like annoying noise before the shift, now sounded like the energy of the sun charging our batteries so that we can have electricity.
I even appreciated all the effort I had made to get where we are so far.
It was amazing how many images came to me with crystal clarity. It was fun.
Thank you Mel and Team Heart School

Platinum Member1. Meditation: Gentle hypnotherapy and gentle movement and dance on my walks with Ezla. The trees still helping me tune in and feel myself and receive universal life force flows flowing with more ease when I hug them and share the love.
2. Animal Communication: I had a nice but brief conversation with a spider while taking a work break outside. He seemed to be enjoying the light and sun like I was, but mostly I wanted to remind him of the dangers of hanging out on the sidewalk. I talked with musk ox and I couldn’t help but notice and comment on all the dried poop on his fur and also my worry about his hind leg dragging. I wondered if he found his body awkward or heavy. He seemed to think I worried too much and he was perfectly fine as is. He walked over to the fence and gave me the sweetest gaze — lots of heart in those eyes. He then took a pee and I told him I appreciated how relaxed and easygoing he was. And wish that for myself. When I went to the lake a few days ago, geese were flying north overhead and honking. I said farewell. And the ducks are still hanging out and not in a rush to go. I told them how much they inspire me and help me tune into my inner duck, like all the ducks I have known, they are really good at emmitting a frequency of spaciousness and beingness.
3. Gratitude:I am grateful that Sebasti gets to be animal teacher this month. She will have a lot to say I think.
4. Discovery: Sebastian is super fiesty this week and I love to see her this way and so I make sure and get the toys out, though not enough — I make sure and process any guilt promptly, hear Sebasti’s guidance that life is really good, and I of course do my forgiveness work (it’s worded a little bit differently then the way Val teaches, but kindred to it). Mama Kitty’s breath is heavier this week and her ear is angrier and bleeding and her pain is evident with her arthritis this week yet she is still so interested in life and food and cuddles. Ezla is still staying out overnight at now below freezing. We are both happier this way and so I love to see how burly he is, even though he is for sure a senior kitty.
5. FAT:I did not connect again.
6. Intuition: I am hearing that voice that calling that volumeless sound that tells me yes or no or go or stay. I feel very in sync with my intuition and also gentle with myself when my intuitive knowing cannot be followed on certain things in its fullest expression, due to circumstances/timing etc. I still know and I honor the knowing. And make a point to take some sort of aligned action tailored to what is doable at this time.
