To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.

1. Meditations?
Still doing the active meditations throughout the day where I clear my mind of busy thoughts and just “be” while doing whatever it is I am doing. Meditated to the Ho’oponopono video I use from time to time to help clear me of anything I may have picked up this week, as this was a bit of a hectic week at work. I also said a Ho’oponopono prayer to the animals who suffer and are in dire situations. And of course, still using the heart love wisdom to keep myself in the space of love. Staying in the love space constantly really does help in SO many ways.2. Communicate with at least one animal?
My pups. I am trying to take our AC to the next level and have more detailed conversations. I am understanding more about how they are feeling and what they want/need. One of my pups rings a bell at the back door when he wants to go outside but he is also trying to use that bell to communicate other messages to me. I can now tell the difference even though the ring sounds the same. I instantly know if he is saying he wants out or needs something else. For some reason this week, I didn’t encounter as many animals as I usually do, and my favorite backyard squirrel hasn’t been coming by much. I think the change in weather may have something to do with that. And I am wondering if my squirrel is nesting because she has been taking some fabric I cut up and put back there in case she needed it. Maybe she is having babies and that could be why she hasn’t been by lately. 🤔 🥰 Even though it has been quiet on the animal visitor front this week, I do still chat with every one I do see.
3. Grateful for?
I am grateful for my continued AC growth, for discovering more truths, and for increasing my knowledge. I am grateful that I continuously stay in the space of love. Doing that helps me to be more open to different things, helps me to ensure everything I do is done from a place of love. I am so grateful for all the vegan/cruelty free options available now and how I have been able to replace everything I use with those options.4. Questions/discoveries?
I am always sad when I hear of an animal going back to spirit (even though I really shouldn’t be because they are in a much better, freer place), but for some reason hearing about Kaden (Erika’s pup) heading back to spirit really got me. I never had a chance to talk to him while he was here, but I feel like my spirit knew him. Maybe it was because we had him in our love circle on our call meditations and we all bonded then. Or maybe it is because I am stronger in my AC now than ever before and I sense his spirit without having met him officially. I don’t know. But I do know that this shows how we are all truly connected, on a spiritual level. My heart goes out to Erika and her family. 🩷5. FAT communication?
I didn’t get a chance to reach out to Ashton this week, unfortunately. Busy week at work caused me to be more tired in the evening.6. Intuition Lessons/Exercises?
The exercises I have been doing to strengthen the clairaudience and clairvoyance have really been working well. (I have been focusing on distant/less obvious sounds and focusing on what is in my peripheral vision.) I find myself now much more aware of things I normally wouldn’t have noticed. I am starting to get used to the heightened awareness and not as jumpy as I was when I started these exercises. I am going to keep at this a while longer because it is helping in so many ways. -

1. Which meditations did you do
Stress busting, breathing exercises and quieting the mind
2. What is the name (or species type of the being you practiced communicating with
Female sister cats – Pandora and Kassandra who had been separated for a while. Did they want to be together again.
Pandora stated that Kassandra was a bully and is sad about the situation. Respects her sister. Wants to play but is afraid of her and K will hurt her, so best to stay away
Kassandra stated she likes her sister – Pandora but she has no manners. Also sad at the situation. Am no threat to her. I am the older and she – Pandora, doesn’t like that.
There seemed a semblance of the situation with the guardian who would look within herself. Also will reintroduce the cats slowly
3. What are you grateful for this week
Hectic week is almost over. Have a couple of quieter weeks planned to hopefully slow down, do more on various aspects of Animal Communications
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
Need to take time for myself. Been busy and hectic few weeks which often happens. Realized more and more it’s due to helping others with their problems and situations. It is not helping me with my animal communications and life in general
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
No.
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
As usual at various times I ask my intuition ‘will this be good for me’ and act on the answer.
Guessing the time. Getting quite good at it now. Continue to focus on heightening my seeing and hearing beyond what is called ‘normal’ e.g. hearing a train passing between stations that are located at least 10 mins walk away thru residential area -

1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Twin Hearts meditation, The Great Invocation, Stress busting and Heart wisdom love meditation. I realize that I need to do the latter more often and regularly.2. What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I spoke with a dog, Daisy, from the ATH page. My conversations are still very general (following Val’s guidelines during the call) but I need to go deeper.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I’m grateful that Sunny is doing better since Val’s communication and healing during the call. Also that another dog who had developed skin issues is healing well with my alternative treatment, as I took a chance to avoid the vet’s chemical medication.4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I’m curious to know if humans can mirror their animals, as I seem to develop a sore throat when Sunny has a throat issue!5 Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not?
Not yet, will do so during the call.6 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I am continuing with last week’s exercise on clairaudience, as I tend to be impatient and proceed too fast before consolidating one practice. It’s also because I enjoy imagining scenes the way Val guides in the ambiance meditation. -

1. Which meditations did you do?
Outside mindfulness exercise – focusing on everything I could see, hear and feel, whilst out in nature.
The heart and extended love meditation.
o Dropping into my heart everytime I need to calm or try to refocus.2. Which animal(s) did I communicate with?
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I’ve tried connecting with wid animals and Patty’s Shiloh this week, but I’ve had a lot going on and I’ve struggled maintain my attention.
I’m starting a new job today, which I’m nervous about, so hopefully that will be one of my stressors out of the way, which should help me focus better next week.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
My supportive husband.4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
After last week’s communication with Jasper, where my feedback matched another animal friend of Dakota’s, I wonder if deceased animals can channel other animals through if they feel that they need to communicate, in the way that we can connect with animals through a connection with their people.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Not this week. I’ve had so much on.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I attended a mediumship course this week, where I practiced using my ‘clairs’ and extra senses. I’m also still trying to use my body as a barometer to feel into when making decisions. -

1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes. I’ve been doing extra every day in an effort to push my life forward.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I practised with Elsa – not deliberately. She was playing with a ball by a tree by the river and I couldn’t get to her to ask her to come back because of the water – it was definitely time to go home. I had been calling for over 20 minutes and she just kept playing with the ball. So I calmed, went quiet and spoke to her through my heart and she came straight away!
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
That I had actual proof with Elsa that was just undeniable!
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Its my lack of self belief that stops me going forward with this and I’m seeing this through the extra meditation I’m doing.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
No I haven’t. Work is busy and sleep is a struggle at the moment so I’m a bit frazzled.
6. This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No – although I do seem to be using it more unconsciously these days. -

1. I’ve done the Stress Busting meditation and the Heart Wisdom Love meditation several times.
2. I’ve communicated with Smokey and Nicholas to see how they like their new food. It’s much better for them and should be tastier. They confirmed this. I didn’t have time for anything deeper.
3. I am grateful for my best friend. Her birthday was this past weekend and I went out of town to help her celebrate. She’s the main person who encouraged me to begin animal communication and I appreciate her and her positive role in my life.
4. I’m curious about why all my animals that have been communicated with seem to have headaches. That seems odd to me. Do I live on land that needs to be cleansed of negative energy? I hope to take this up with Val when I have my one-on-one with her, but that may be a little while.
5. I spoke with Smokey (and speak with him every day, ha!). I find him harder to communicate with than Nicholas, since I know him a lot better and don’t know what’s my “normal” communication and what’s telepathic.
6. I’ve come back to trying to feel colors with crayons. I’d been away from it for awhile and I felt really disconnected, but my results were great this time! I don’t get that, but I’ll take it.

1. Which meditations did you do?
I meditate daily for 35 minutes or more to a guided meditation by Hemi-sync. I like it because it stops the “chatter” and provides many good affirmations. I currently apply them to my work with animal communication, I look forward to finding the Meditation Module. I’m still finding my way around the site!
2.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I, of course try to communicate with my four dogs and four cats at home with intermittent success. However, I work part time in a pet store and get some opportunity to practice there (when I’m not helping customers.) I had one special moment with a cockatiel. I walked past her cage and felt an overwhelming sense of sadness. I wanted to cry. We were in the store alone so I was able to have a conversation with her. I asked what was wrong and she said she wanted to go home (she was only a few months old). I explained that was not possible but she would find a new home where she would be loved. The conversation went on for a little bit and ended with her saying it was nice to have someone to talk to. That is the most success I have had! I discovered that I can feel animal emotions and carry on a conversation with them. I immediately fell in love with that bird and wanted to take her home but realized she would outlive me! A few weeks later she was sold and I believe she went to a good home. I don’t have as much success with the rats, bunnies, or gerbils but I’m working on it.
3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
Oh, My! I’m grateful for so much: My home, my husband, my animal companions, my plants. I don’t know where to start. I guess this week I’m particularly grateful that the bruises on my face have cleared up, although I’m still sore. I tripped and fell and landed hard on my face on the Saltillo floor tiles in my home. I looked like someone had beaten me up. It was particularly hard going to work. Those who didn’t know him thought my husband had done it! But the bruises are clearing up and I look human again! I’m also grateful I didn’t break my nose.
4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
It’s harder than it appears. I took Penelope Smith’s course before I started here, and really thought I’d be talking to all animals all the time by now. I realize I’m too mental and I’m blocking the messages. I have a lot of work to do, but I am determined. I want to open that door and perhaps, put my skills to work in the pet store. I’m still trying to find my way around the web site and figure out what is expected of me (I joined August 30). I don’t even know what questions to ask yet! Most of the time animals are not responding to me, occasionally a physical response that tells me that they hear me. One time my cat told me to “leave me alone, I’m napping.” And another cat confirmed that he is indeed handsome. So I know it’s working, I just need to hone my skills
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
My initial reaction to Smokey’s picture was shock and pain. I didn’t know why. I looked at the picture longer and only felt pain and abuse from the past. Later I went back to the picture and sensed that Smokey had trainers that had beat him with a strap if he didn’t do what they wanted-jump over things and go in circles. There was a woman in particular that beat him with a strap. I asked why he didn’t just do the things they wanted if it would stop the beatings. Smokey got indignant and I sensed an element of pride. I “heard” “you are just like the others.” I apologized but the communication broke down and I felt uncomfortable so I “left”.
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I did the first four intuition exercises then got lost in the site. However, I feel I have some undeveloped intuition. I know when my husband is calling, when a package is about to be delivered, I answer my husband’s questions before he asks them. Little things like that. I just need to focus and work on it. Now I can’t find my way back to the classes or the dashboard. But I have my Word document and the accountability site so I will go ahead and submit.-

Karyn, I know that conversation with Smokey must have been uncomfortable. I encourage you to keep trying! I’m really interested to find out what Val gets from him on the open call. I think it’s going to be fascinating. He’s a real character and I want to know more about him.
Love and light,

1. Meditations: Breathing, Mindfulness
2. Who Did I Talk With: Shasta cat – working on understanding when she wants to play vs when she wants love.
3. Gratitude: I am very thankful that I got to spend time with both of my adult children today. It is so energizing to reconnect with them.
4. Discoveries: Shasta is not coming downstairs very much after Kola tried to steal her treat and growled at her. It is going to take a lot of time and patience for her to trust the dog again. I am working on at least getting her to come downstairs when Kola is outside.
5. FAT: I have not spoken to the FAT this week. I am still dealing with the back pain I’ve had for the past few weeks and feel it really interferes with my ability to connect so I haven’t tried.
6. Intuition Exercises: I have to admit I have not been consciously doing much AC work since my back problems began. I’ve been working with our animals – training, making play structures, brushing and other normal, daily activities. My wife discovered that ever since apologizing to Shasta for accidentally stepping on her tail (or something like that), Shasta has been much more affectionate with her. I believe that Shasta feels important that my wife reached out to her in a special way. I’ve been observing their relationship.
