To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Developing ALL your intuitive abilities is important. You have many Intuition Development Lessons available in your student members account, under the Welcome Module. These are not games, they are exercises and lessons especially designed for our communication students. Do not use an intuition game app.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what did you do to practice growing your intuition?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!
Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email Moderator@ValHeart.com
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

#1 I am starting to meditate on my own more. I usually do guided meditation but now I am starting with a quick meditation and continuing on my own.
#2 This week I connected with my daughter’s friend’s childhood dog that had recently crossed over. Her dog, Daisy, was the center of the family for many years. It was such a beautiful reading. Daisy talked about what a great life she had and how lucky she was to be in a family who showered her every day with so much love. Then she talked about how sad it was for other dogs that never get to feel what love feels like. She thought about the dogs that come to heaven and feel unconditional love for the first time. They may not know what that feeling actually is. She was going to befriend some of those dogs so they will know what they are feeling is pure love and that is what they will feel from now on.
#3 I want to celebrate successfully giving my kitten his antibiotics twice a day for 10 days. It wasn’t easy but he relinquished control and almost seemed to like it half way through. 🤪
#4 I’m wondering if my training thus far will allow me to communicate with my brother who I recently learned has Lewy Body Dementia. I have not tried as of yet. I plan to give it a shot next week.
#5 Yes I did connect with Keely. He is a kind, happy, content and athletic dog. He enjoys being outside and playing with sticks. He loves his family and on occasion likes to be the center of attention making his family laugh. He has a lot of wisdom behind his gorgeous eyes.
#6 I am trying to keep my “Gut” or intuition in the forefront of my mind and lean into it when It emerges. The other day when I was volunteering with the Equine Therapy program, an adult rider, Mike, with disabilities was taking his lesson. Neurologically he had body movement which seemed to be hard for him to control. At one point in the lesson he was asked to look at Donkey’s in a paddock to his left. His head was swiveling back and forth. People kept urging him to focus and look at the Donkey’s. Right before his personal assistant was going to physically turn his head toward the Donkey’s, in my mind popped up “already saw the Donkey’s 5 times’ ‘. I interrupted his assistant and told him that he was off duty during these lessons and he probably saw the Donkey’s each time his head turned that way. So I don’t know if that was Mike saying it in his head and I heard him or if it was me getting frustrated on Mike’s behalf and thought to myself “He probably looked at the Donkeys each time his head turned that way. He just couldn’t communicate outwardly.

This week I went through your article Meditations and Exercises. I realized that at least 3 times a day, I do active meditations, where I slow down and become more conscious of what I am doing.
Also I did your Stress Busting and quick connect meditation. I did it at the moment when I was distracted, feeling that I needed to jump out of my body and it really calmed me down, even if it was only a short time of 5 minutes, I was really grateful for that.
And I still practice yoga and started to run with my daughter and our two dogs. I just love it. And as I have 11 horses, I often go trail riding or just spend time with them, or play with them at liberty, which is great.
I was very grateful for the feedback from Terianne and Sophie as this was my first time communicating with animals from the picture and I was so happy for that. This week I connected with my 3 year old shagya arabian mare Kira, who told me she feels ok, that she is well, just needs more attention and activities and plays with me. So I started to play with her more and when I am fully present, she is just gorgeous!!! I really enjoy time with her and then feel so happy.
This week I am grateful for so many things. I am grateful that I realized how much my family loves me. I am grateful that I have so many teachers and angels and healers and protectors around me. I am grateful that my husband is also trying to become the best himself he can be. I am grateful that my husband started to be interested in animal communication and we can talk about it and feel it. I am grateful that I could spend time with my children skiing in the mountains. I am grateful that we are healthy.
I was discussing with my husband if it is ok to communicate with an animal who is sleeping. I have a feeling that when we are connected heart to heart, soul to soul, then it is all the same, it works any time, if the animals want to talk to us. So maybe that is the question.
Today I ‘ve done a lot of work on myself, exercising joga, walking my dogs, reading some of your articles, writing this week’s accountability and now I need to leave and go to work which I love as I work with horses and people, spending time outside. Also in the evening I go dancing with my husband so I try to connect to Keely tomorrow and write it to my next week’s accountability. Looking forward to it.
This week I read your articles: Don’t use games to develop your intuitive ability, What to do if your scores on the exercises are below average, Let’s begin Developing your intuitive abilities and 5 simple steps to developing your intuition. My answers are:
What is the first simple step to developing your intuition? Centering myself and getting quiet.
What are you already doing? At least 3 times a day centering myself, breathing consciously, feeling my heart beat, feeling the ground beneath my feet, being fully present.
What will you do now that you know all 5 steps? All 5 steps:-))
Which appeals the most to you and why? All of them. Centering myself, connecting with my heart and with my gut (I like it), connecting with the idea, object and asking questions and then waiting for my intuition to kick in.
What seems easiest to do, and what seems harder to you from where you are in your journeys right now? The easiest are the two steps I’ve already done, but I feel I can do all 5 steps easily
Make a note in your journal and think about how knowing and doing these things can help you communicate with animals. It is good to realize all 5 steps, it seems to me that I do all of them unconsciously. It helps me to be on the same wavelength as the animal is. -

1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
This has been a very stressful week starting from the 1st when Tikli suddenly stopped eating to passing on the 5th. I just could not still my mind to meditate, so the only thing I did was to practise Ho’oponopono which did give some measure of peace.2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with? Briefly describe what happened. What did you discover or learn from the experience? Post at least one.
I was constantly talking to Tikli to reassure her especially before and during the vet trips.3. Name one (or more) thing you want to celebrate or feel grateful for. Post at least one.
I am so grateful for the support of Val and the community especially during this very difficult time.4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
How do you still yourself to receive answers from an animal during a crisis? I see that Evelyne has posted a similar question for the next call.5. Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? What did you discover? If not, why not?
I had spoken to Keely before she was chosen FAT, but had not been able to post.6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuition? Post at least one.
I am afraid I could not do anything specific this week, though I was trying to tune into Tikli. -

1. Meditations this week: 4+ x breathing, 2 or more mindfulness, 1 guided/relaxation
2. Who did I talk with: FAT, Keely. She is kind and gentle. She likes being a teacher and feels honored to be teaching us this month. I saw greens and blues around her – possibly aura colors or maybe colors in her physical surroundings. She shared with me that she does not like either slugs or snakes – not sure which – maybe both? She does like running. She said I should run and play because it’s fun.
3. Gratitude: This weekend we adopted a bonded pair of kitties who had been rescued from a hoarding situation. They are beautiful black/gray kitties who are 3 years old and 9 months old. They are currently living in our downstairs bathroom during their adjustment period. We are hoping they will become good companions for our 11-year-old Max (cat) who lost his brother 3 months ago and seems to really need a cat to do cat things with, especially at night. I am very grateful these new kitties, Shasta and Lexi, are in our life.
4. Discoveries/Questions – As I think many others do, I have trouble knowing whether I am connecting with my own animals or projecting what I think they are feeling and thinking. I know that’s why we practice with other people’s animals but I do want to keep learning so I can more confidently and accurately “talk to my own kids.” I’m not sure if there is a question or discovery in there. I guess I would ask if there is anything specific to do to develop that skill but I think this club and the courses are probably the answer.
5. FAT: I did speak with Keely today. See answer to question 2.
6. Intuition exercises: Selecting colors with eyes closed, being my cat and sensing what he was experiencing as we played with a fishing pole toy, also “What’s in the Box?” That was fun and surprising that I got as much as I did. I had sensed muted colors, warm, hard but not too hard, and an oval or circular shape. I wrote down that if I had to guess, it would be a turtle. It was a travel-sized, dark blue, distinctly flattish, oval bottle of lotion. -

1. Which meditations did you do
Sound and focussing Meditation for a few minutes most days . Stress Meditation x 2
2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with
A female brown, black and ginger toy poodle called sage. Her first visit to a post office. She was quiet, well behaved, inquisitive and curious as to what the people were doing. Being small her dad picked her up for safety but also so she could see more of her surroundings. While communicating, and stroking her, sage kept licking my hand, her eyes sparkling as I explained (mentally) the mechanics and procedure of being in line waiting to be served by a member of staff at the counter. Also had a conversation with her dad who informed me that Sage, a puppy, was attending training sessions, doing well and he doted on her.
3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful for Tuxedo Princess and Tabby Princess, neighbours cats are in my life.
Grateful that slowly the sunrise is getting earlier and sunset later by a few seconds each day as we pass thru winter. I don’t ‘function’ too well during dark winter months4. Questions and/or Discoveries
Question. How best to inform the guardian that their actions/behaviour, that has been witness by another person or the animal has informed the communicator, was inappropriate/harmful towards the animal without causing friction and keep the communicator’s credibility
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Not yet
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
Coloured pens from bag – selecting a particular colour of pen I’d chosen, te.g red, to take from the bag e.g red. Also letting the pens inside the bag to tell me their colour e.g blue. Got a couple right – so work in progress.
Generally used intuition, sense of knowing that 2 events planned and in the early stages would not happen. Several days later events discarded

Which meditations did you do?
I basically did the stress busting meditation and I continued to do the Ho’oponopono2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with?
Not conciously or purposedly but evidently I did connect with one of my wonderful dogs in spirit. I was told 20 years ago by an animal communicator (back when I first became familiar with this) that he wo0ud come back, but not me. That I didn’t need him anymore. Well he is back , in a litter of rescue briard puppies. There was a puppy that I immediately wanted as soon as I saw his picture. Then Landmark flashed into my mind and I knew that was him. Then Landmark appeared to me that night in a dream.
I wanted that puppy! But alas it was not to be. He was meant for someone else. I told a friend about these puppies and she wanted the girl and she was accepted for one as was I. But I had to decline. Friend drove to Texas from Iowa to get her girl. But when she got there, the girl was not for her. NO connection. But my boy ran to her, climbed onto her lap and started giving her kisses. She also felt it was Landmark. The person that was fostering them said well he has picked out his owner. The best possible outcome. It wasn’t the right time for me to get a puppy, but he went to a good friend and I know he will have a great home and I will get to see him sometime….Ah, trust the universe.3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful for this class, grateful that Sabrina is making great strides in her reactivity, grateful for all that this class and Sabrina is teaching me.Yesterday morning 3 things happened that upset, annoyed me. Sabrina wouldn’t eat breakfast again- She is so picky about her food and I waste so much money trying to find something that she will eat and also worry about her not eating enough, then she came in with muddy feet – not her fault. The moles are destroying the yard and all the grass. Then she began barking at the neighbors and I figured that was her fault. Then later we went to Lowes and she was so happy, bouncing around and grinning from ear to ear. Made me laugh. I thought dogs live in the NOW and here I am still mad about something that happened an hour ago. So I had to laugh and let it go.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
Renewed insight about letting the universe decide things
And question: How do we find the meditations? I have the hardest time finding that and when I do it is by accident. On the dashboard where it lists it, all that does is take me to a page trying to get me to sign up for this course. 🙂5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Not yet.
This has been a difficult week. A lot going on in my personal life and big decision to make and also my son in law fell from 10 feet at work and severely injured himself. awaiting surgery until swelling goes down. Recovery will be 3 months, full recovery 6 months with probably a 40% disability. So other things took priority.6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
I worked with the cards. I pulled 2 cards and looked at them, then I felt each one seperately to discover what each color felt like to me. Then put them back and drew one and held it in my hand with eyes closed and studied the sensation, then chose the color and was correct!I also worked with my pendulums on an important question. It kept telling me one thing, but I tried to defy it and do what my heart wanted, finally let the universe have its way and by the next day realized that was the right thing to do as everything turned out best for everyone.

1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Soft Focus Exercise
2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with? Briefly describe what happened. What did you discover or learn from the experience?
I went back to my brother’s house hoping to connect with his recently rescued cats. I greeted them both from the heart and I felt they received it. One of them made himself more physically available to me, but I still wasn’t able to receive anything from him. I wasn’t sure if it was my inability or his guardedness that prevented the conversation. The other one stayed hidden most of the time.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate or feel grateful for.
I am grateful my home didn’t experience any water damage from the downpours we have been having. I wasn’t so fortunate last year, so after the worst of this storm passed us by, I took time to feel grateful.
4. What questions and/or discoveries do you have about communicating with animals this week?
How do I know when I am unable to communicate with an animal if it’s a blockage in me or if the animal just doesn’t want to communicate at that time?
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? What did you discover? If not, why not? You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
I am looking forward to speaking with Keely at this week’s Q&A session.
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuition?
I did lesson #9: Clairaudience & Conscious Music Energy.
I listen to 5 healing audio files each day that contain tones with different frequencies to bring my body into balance. I used these files to do this lesson and it was amazing the tones & instruments that I heard for the first time when I really “focused in” as directed in the exercise. One of them had the sound of moving water in the background that I had never heard before. I thought I had been absorbing the music before, but this exercise took it to a whole new level. -

1.Yes but not as regular or as deep as I felt I needed – there were just too many people around for too long this week. .
2. I practised with my cat in spirit. I felt she was ready and willing to guide me – with a council of cats behind her. I apologised for all my mistakes and that we had had an unsettled life with lots of moving around. My life was very chaotic then. We moved houses and countries.. She reminded me that she had her own karma too, and that all is well now. I can’t get this verified but I am learning how important it is to believe and acknowledge.
3. I want to celebrate that I think I’m beginning to realise how important belief is and how important it is to act on that belief – perhaps we cannot say we believe until we have acted upon it. .
4. My discovery: I’ve just grasped that we really a have to believe in what we get! I can’t explain it – I just get it now.
5.I haven’t practised with the FAT again this week but I did get feedback from last week and I was very accurate. I think the thing that made the difference was my deep intention to actually do this.
6.I’ve been trying to intuit answers before other people give them – not as accurate as last week. -

1. Meditate
I did lots of short meditations. Prayer, healing, candle light, one or two guided. I did my best to support Tikli and Nita.2. Communicate with an animal
I connected with Tikli, though I was concentrating on healing more. I got that she didn’t want to go, that she still had some business to do around.
I communicate a lot with my dogs, as since Monday, Bebe has fallen ill. His liver blood count are elevated combined with trachea infection… I also suspect the spleen might be involved.
I feel a little destabilized right now to get in this state in a conversation.
3. Gratitude
I am grateful for all my friends.
4. Question and discoveries
I saw interesting questions for the call on Saturday this week. Nothing else. Though I am not sure I will be able to attend.
5. No conversation with FAT yet.
6. Intuition
Before the storm in my life, that Bebe is unwell, I have discovered that the conscious breathing exercise, mentioned in the Club Lessons, I had done in the last 2 years, not realising that is an exercise by it’s self… -

1. Which meditations did you do
Ambiance Meditation and Extended Awareness Meditation several times
2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with
A Magpie bird. It kept making itself known, squawking and hopping around near me. Quick chat to say he’s beautiful. The plumage glistening in the sunlight. Magpie said, Not everyone thinks they (Magpies) are beautiful and that have a bad reputation which the birds don’t like. Reassured the bird.
Numerous times over a few days a group of crows or rooks kept arriving, squawking, settling on ground and rooftops for a few moments then disappeared when I acknowledge them. They either want to send a message or make me aware they are around as its not often we see them. Understand a crow, maybe my totem. Need to check further
3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful that I have seen colours (blue and a green), twice recently emanating from animals whilst completing a communication. Wonder if this was the animal’s aura.4. Questions and/or Discoveries
See Q 3 Would the colours I saw emanating from the two animals, be the animals aura. I not seen anything like this before
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Yes. Posted in forum
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
Ambiance exercise when moving from one room to another. Letting sub and conscious mind inform me of the differences to the rooms
