One of the most important things to stay on track with your animal communication goals is practice including to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below. When you post your answers 12 weeks in a row and, if you’re a Gold or Platinum member, you’ll have earned your Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val (regularly $125). (see rules below)

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared.

NOTE: Days of week have CHANGED for Accountability posting to starting on Thursday through Wednesday each week. You can post any day of the week with the changes and learnings since your post the prior week.

Do your best. You cannot copy and paste the same answers every week. They must be unique each week. If we feel you are trying to hack the system and not putting any real effort into this, then you will be asked to try again and if you miss the weekly deadline, you will have to start over with your sequence count.

Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress every week.

NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

While only posts answering the 6 Posting Questions (below) count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN YOUR COACHING SESSIONS:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Thursday through Wednesday to which you can post any day of the week, earlier is better so you don’t miss the deadline. You are invited to report on your efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening.

Post each week between Thursday and Wednesday noon (12:00 PM Eastern). We suggest you don’t wait till the last minute. Remember you can post any day of the week as long as it’s within the designated week.

Note: The system uses Greenwich Mean Time to keep us harmonized across time zones around the world in all seasons which means the system’s deadline timestamp is Wednesday 5:00 pm GMT. You can check your local time against Greenwich Mean Time using: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your Breakthrough Laser Coaching with Val. You can use your private time for animal communication coaching, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Be consistent! You cannot do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

      POSTING INSTRUCTIONS

Answer these 6 questions in the REPLY box below. Then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom.

      1. Meditate! Meditating is important to your progress because it helps you center, making it easier to connect and communicate with animals as well as release the mind chatter and increase your overall calm.

Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Practice! You are required to practice communicating with at least one animal each week (if you don’t remember the animal’s name, indicate its species). Practicing every week will strengthen and grow your communication skills. It is often easier to communicate with animals other than those in our own family, so start outside your family animals. Visit our Animal Teachers page to find a willing partner and post what you get so their person can give you feedback.

What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

      3. Celebrate! We want to celebrate you and your progress, whether you experienced outstanding success or not. A positive mindset is important so even if you had a rough week or don’t feel like you made much progress, there is always something to appreciate and be grateful for.

Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!

What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

      5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.

Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Intuition Development! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development lessons

This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

We look forward to reading about your week.

Much love, Moderator Barb & Val

Boy have I been meditating! Yikes!

I reconnected with Zuri during the Q&A call this morning and I am happy about that because I had tried previously and did not have a legitimate connection. Today I was very connected.

I connected with my friends dog, Stella who I do have a strong connection with. It was a lovely reunion. She is 11 years old and her Dad still takes her for 5 mile runs a few times a week. I asked her if her body is up to running as she is getting up there in age. She said she still likes it and her body doesn’t hurt after. I asked her how can we come up a signal so she can tell her Dad on a day that she doesn’t want to run. A picture of Stella holding up her right paw emerged. I thought that was genius and I will relay that to her parents.
After speaking with Stella I was concerned about Stella forgetting to tell her Dad by lifting her paw and communication would be lost. Val said I should have her Dad ask her before each run if she wants to go or not and that will trigger Stella’s communication by lifting her paw. Seems simple but if you step back and think about it… it’s genius and amazing on so many levels.

Last night before going to sleep, I connected with the horse that our experience together was so deep and profound it changed my path in life. I had no training and didn’t honestly know what I was doing. My body and heart just took over and I calmed down this beauty who was very agitated with so many people in her space that two student needed to exit her corral for safety. She would circle around in her corral brushing by me so gently and lovingly and invited me into her corral afterwards to hug her. The other part to this experience was when I was done, I turned around and the whole class was watching in amazement. So last nights connection came immediately. I was showered with love. We laughed over memories of her running along the fence trying to get my attention earlier in the day and I told her how silly she was. I had no idea that she was the same horse from earlier in the day. I asked her what her name was but I didn’t get an answer. I did get a flash from a connection months ago of a red barn with white fencing and a 13 year old girl with long brown hair in braids. I thanked her for her gift to me that changed my life leading me to the path of animal communication which is a lifetime dream.

This week I would like to celebrate Val’s support. Even though she is an incredibly busy woman, she makes herself available, returning emails in a timely manner. She also makes you (me) feel like I am her only student. She is focused and present for any questions or issues no matter how big or small they may be. Thank you Val! ❤️

My question regarding communicating is… I find I lose pertinent information of pieces of conversations after (immediately) the conversation is finished. Today with Zuri, I remembered we laughed quite a bit. When I went to transcribe the conversation, I knew that I was missing quite a bit of the experience. I don’t know if that is due to my short term memory or if sometimes the connection is so strong that when I disconnect I have trouble remembering all of the content. I have tried journaling during the conversation but it is too difficult for me to go in and out of the conversation connecting and reconnecting. Any suggestions?

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? Serenity and Hawkeye. Morning dove friend. Two client dogs. Also a silver fish who was in my sink.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? No exercises. 1. Meditate!
I did but this week I have felt somehow distracted… my mind has not cleared well, because I have found myself following thoughts a few times. Though mornings were better than evenings, I skipped a few.
I got to listen for about half of the gift meditation received from Val.
A few times I have seen deep violet color all of a sudden…
What’s strange is that I got a sort of sudden sadness during some days.

      2. Practice!

Rita-the dog from my work place has been better so far.
Maya, the missing girly… I have sent her again this week healing energy.
Zuri during the call, but it wasn’t much to worth mentioning.

      3. Celebrate!
I celebrate music this week! 😊 I have rediscovered a song by Whitney Houston that strongly resonated with me: I didn’t know my own strength. Also Aretha Franklin’s Ain’t no way… is popping continuously in my head, and I say a little prayer… rediscovering SOUL music… perhaps my soul needs some extra “soul” 😊

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Thank you! Nothing pressing at the moment. 😊

      5. Featured Animal Teacher! Communicating with our FAT provides the opportunity for fast feedback to enhance your learning and grow your animal communication skills.
I did connect during the call, but not exactly something to share, as I have disconnected and reconnected. Had no clue what happened, as I was waiting for the call….
I apologize Zuri! You are beautiful!

      6. Intuition Development Games! To find Club Membership resources click on the menu My Course > Platinum/Gold/Silver Membership > Intuitive Development Games

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes I have had some really awesome meditations. Processed some more feelings I didn’t realize I had. Every day for an hour or more.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

I connected with Rumery again this week shortly.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

I can finally get in my heart space by myself! And I mean really get there. It’s amazingly powerful.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

I am wondering if people are finding it difficult to connect with Zuri?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I have spent the whole week with the featured animal teacher. Zuri has been stuck to me ever since the call. She sleeps on my legs and stays up with me until I go to bed at night.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

I feel like I am always practicing something to increase my intuition. This week I have practiced a lot of central channel breathing, particularly to aid in decision making when I am unsure or not feeling guided.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      – Yes, about 30 minutes this week. Grounding and heart coherence meditations.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

      – A mosquito in my bathroom. I asked it to remain still so that I can cup it and take it outside.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      – I want to celebrate my intention coming true. I asked for something to happen that would make me determined to want to talk with animals. Intentions do work like magic!

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

      – What is the one most beneficial and proven method to heal one’s soul? I discovered that I need a lot of soul healing before I can trust myself and believe what I am receiving.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      – Zuri, yes! I tried to communicate with her during the Live Q&A Call. I asked if I may become one with her and I received “not right now”, so I will try communicating with her again and post what I receive in the FAT Discussion.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

      – I always try to intuitively know who’s calling or texting me when I hear my phone ring or beep from another room. I definitely need to review the Intuition Development exercises and practice more often. Thank you for the reminder! 😊

1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

A 90 mins online relaxation and mediation session. Difficult to fully relax. But near end of session fell asleep. Still have problems creating ‘quiet’ time. May go back to beginning and start with just a few minutes relaxation at a time

2 .What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

A friend mentioned a friend of hers was having trouble with her dogs behaviour, barking, running around etc. The guardian was extremely annoyed with the dog and possibly thinking of re-homing the dog. I explained about animal communication and I’d be willing to help if I could but not promise anything. Sent write-up, questions etc to friend to pass on. Many days later (had checked with friend several times) I received a message saying the guardian ‘wasn’t bothered at the moment’ My friend could not answer my queries or why the guardian didn’t want to proceed.
I felt very sorry for the dog. On the surface it appeared the dog was possibly mirroring the guardian – her frustrations etc or other reasons for the dogs behaviour

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      Nothing this week
      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

Need to let go of my many time consuming involvements especially helping demanding friends who will not help their capable selfish selves and very often cause pressure on my time and lower my mood
Why wouldn’t the frustrated guardian help her dog

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

No but will do. Started to prepare but then was interrupted.

      6. This week did you play one of the Intuition Games? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

Usual games. Let my intuition lead me on a walk round back streets where I rarely tread. Found 3 very nice large artificial orchid plants that had been thrown out. Took home, cleaned them and will give to charity shop for display or sell

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I continue to spend time sitting with one of my cats on my lap and attempting to communicate with him or her. I have my weekly meditation in my Unity church service. This meditation is just after the lesson and an opportunity to let the lesson “settle.”

I am also participating in Susann’s current Immersion, a series of 4 weekly zoom calls and messages between them all of which include powerful meditations.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

Our current FAT, the beautiful cat Zuri. I connected a little during the call and more later.

I see her as a very high level soul in a cat body. I sense that she is a very old, ancient, wise soul. I was looking for a word to describe her when someone else said regal. I see her as a quiet soul, not bashful at all but wisely holding her space. In a group, I see her quietly sitting and watching everything, not missing a thing.

She is a healer. As she sits in her energy field, she is offering healing to those present and to the planet itself. I also see her as a friend and companion for her Mom Lee. She and Lee go way back. They have been together for many lifetimes both here and in other worlds. They have played many different roles for each other.

The relationship is like my relationship with my cat Princess who is now in spirit. I hope I’m not projecting here.

I continue to work on communication with my own cats. The other day when Missy was on my lap, I asked her if she was happy, and what she wanted. She said more food. Roxy does tend to be a bit of a bully and greedy so may eat too much not leaving her enough. So we went to the kitchen and I gave her more food which she enjoyed. Did not eat a lot but did eat some. No competition from Roxy who had had his fill and gone to bed.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

My connection with Zuri. A good connection with her was my intention during the call. I only connecting a little during the call but much more came in this morning. And being able to connect with Missy a bit.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

I continue to have difficulty communicating with my own cats. I know them so well I always think I just made it up.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Yes. See #2 above.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? None of these exercises. The Immersion with Susann is supportive of this.

      1. Val’s meditation and random ones I found on YouTube and Insight Timer

      2. The featured cat, Zuri. I was able to pick up on her energy and presence but only got one answer to a question. She said she is very happy where she is and is treated really well. She was friendly and welcoming to me — it was really cute. I have more added to the discussion post.

      3. Ugh I’m still not in an excited state cause I keep harping on what I can’t do and feel like I’m not getting anywhere. Zuri seemed to like me so that was nice.

      4. What happens if the heart wisdom meditations are tripping us up? I can’t feel my heart beats. It’s hard when I set aside time to do these long meditations and still not able to communicate after :/

      5. I did at the Q&A call on Saturday. It was nice to meet Zuri.

      6. Tried to do the ‘What Makes For a Great Life’ one but didn’t get any answers. I picked an animal that called to me from the featured animals list and I couldn’t connect beyond the greeting so I don’t know.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?: A little every day but not much.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience? I haven’t practised this week. I have tried to spend time with Elsa just connecting but haven’t been so successful.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week. The beautiful love and generosity that animals teach us.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have? Just wondering why I have a closed reaction just after I’ve had really open communication.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. No. I couldn’t make the Q&A call because of a family commitment and I haven’t connected yet.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals? Not so much. Trying to listen and trust. Realised I receive stuff but dismiss it.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes I did every morning, I think I missed one day only. Mix of sounds to open chakras, breathing, Brian Weiss, Diane Cooper, Twin Hearts Meditation.

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

I tried to connect to a horse from a picture. Overall he felt introverted, gentle and kind but a bit wary.
I felt like he was a bit worried, ‘in his head’. Worried about a move maybe? I have not had a chance to verify with the owner yet, I would like to connect again to see if I get more information. I actually did try a second time but I felt like he did not feel like talking. So I will try again.

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

I was very happy I got a few things right from my conversation with FAT Zuri as Lee confirmed. That is encouraging.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

When I was horse riding last week I was a bit tense, I felt like I wasn’t really in control, the horse was speeding. My teacher said all I had to do was breathe and relax… I did…..and the horse slowed down also. How beautiful and simple. It was wonderful to become aware in that moment of how we share feelings and energies.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I did last week before our Monthly meeting and tried again during our call but I got too interrupted a few times and have not had time since. I will try again soon though.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

When I think of it I try to really be aware of sounds around me, searching for that sound of silence. I explored an image, imagined what I could see and hear, which was lovely as it was in an enchanted forest.

I did not manage any meditation time this week. I don’t know where the time goes, but there just isn’t enough of it anymore in my world!

      2. What is the name (or species) of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?

My last weekend taking care of my friends’ kitty while they were out of town. I have won her trust (YAY!) and after she finishes her food she comes back over to me and flops on the floor beside me and just purrs and makes bisquits. I counted down the “sleeps” for her until her people came home. They came home yesterday and she was SOOOOOOOO happy to see them!!

      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.

      Nothing new.

      4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? What discoveries did you have?

      Nothing new.

I said hi to Yuri but didn’t hear/see/feel any response.

      6. This week did you practice Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?

No time. Always open to intuitive thoughts.

      1. I’m getting back into a routine – not where I would like to be YET, though.
      2. I went to my local pet store to visit with the foster kitties, I connected with a couple of them fairly easily, but felt significantly guarded. I think remembering the other cat I connected with there some time ago who made me cry. I’ve had the same guarded feeling when trying to connect with my usual animal friends, too. I’m not sure what to do about it, will have to experiment.
      3. Sorry, nothing new.
      4. Nothing new. I haven’t even listened to the February recording yet to hear if my written question was answered during that call.
      5. No FAT yet.
      6. Still practicing intuition in daily life, confirming with muscle testing. Sometimes they work well, and others they don’t — of course.

I’m sorry this is a bit late, it’s been a very busy couple of days!

      1. Yes I meditated several times. I use different techniques. I meditate usually 10 to 15 minutes.

2.Non, although I tried with Sterchen and as I stared at his photo it seemed to change but then it was gone. I will try again.

3.I want to celebrate a visit from my golden retriever Abbey who passed over last June. She barked and I recognized the bark. I also feel I am getting closer to my goal of communicating.

      4. I need help with communicating to Layla about her up coming Holistic vet checkup. I keep telling her about what will happen but don’t know if she understands me. I think she knows more of the Egyptian language than English. This vet was not taking anymore patients until I explained about her and I believe divine guidance got her this appointment. I pray for guidance every night and thank God for each and everyday and all he, Abbey, and the angels do for me and Layla.

      5. No nothing with this month’s FAT but will try. Still blocked.

6.Yes. I bought chocolate covered jujubes. I tried to guess the color of the jujube and then cut it open to reveal the color, however I only got 3 right. I will try tonight with the Oscars.
