To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email Moderator@ValHeart.com
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

#1 I start my day with a 20 – 30 minute meditation. I also have been meditating outside, using my Love Tuner whistle in the backyard for increased vibration levels.
#2 I spoke with a SeaGull with a hurt foot. He kept targeting this one woman who worked in a large complex. She would feed him away from the other birds. He told me how he would wait for someone to throw food (or leave food) and there would be a fight for scraps. When that happened, he would go to another human and beg for food and eat it quietly away from the others, without having to fight for his food.
#3 I want to celebrate that my dog, Sophie, has a lump which is 95% a fatty tumor!
#4 How long will it be before I can communicate with my own animals? Especially when it comes down to issues of health. I can talk to other people’s animals but when it comes to caring for my own, I can’t get critical information for the safety of my animals.
#5 I have not had a conversation with this month’s FAT.
#6 I have been isolating one sound in particular and canceling all other sounds. Tinnitus sure doesn’t help.

1)I am slow getting the hang of the site. I didn’t know there was a meditation module available. I do sit in the morning and do short meditations. usually I focus on the in and out breaths and imagine the interruptions as a balloon to release. It’s not every day but I mist of the time I find time to do quiet time and read inspirational stories or books as well as doing affirmations
2) I had a session with a client couple about their dog, who was having shyness issues. Also they had another dog who helped out tremendously. First dog was Mary and the second one was Roxie. I felt that Macy was off-it felt as if her nervous system was on overload. Super sensitive. The woman of the house was intuitive and had a lot of anxiety and felt she drew in energies. That was also an influence on the overall situation. I felt that there was more I could offer the situation but did not know exactly how.
3) Gratitude- For the birds that come in to my yard and wherever I go. Had a red tailed hawk fly in front of my car a couple of days ago. Breathtaking
.4) Discoveries…. to revel in the energy of animals who are so helpful and strong. 5) I did communicate with April’s FAT- did not hear feedback but nevertheless I appreciated the presence of a sweet soul being recognized.5) I have not done any of the intuitive exercises. I haven’t found them yet on the site. Again -i have had a little trouble navigating things. -

1) I need to be better about doing daily meditations. This was finals week at the school where I teach, so it was an insane week of grading and talking to students. I’ll work on meditations for the coming weeks. Today, I did the second meditation Val posted in our course package, a seven-minute meditation.
2) I talked with Scarlett the cat, the featured animal teacher. I had a hard time hearing from Scarlett and I sensed that she was frustrated about something (maybe my inability to make the strongest connection). We talked about a favorite pastime: lying in a beam of sunshine. I asked how she came to live with Sue and called her Scarlett’s “mama.” Scarlett corrected me and said Sue is her friend, which seemed like a cat thing to say! Sue had mentioned a unique way that Scarlett had come to live with her, so I asked about that, but Scarlett didn’t seem interested in talking about that. She said that humans have busy minds, but animals don’t spend a lot of time thinking about the past.
There were a lot of animal and mental distractions that kept coming up, but I didn’t give up. I learned that I don’t have to be in perfect silence to do this work, that I can do it with the rhythms of life. Still, Scarlett told me I needed to learn to quiet my mind. I’ll keep working on it!
3) I’m so grateful our semester is over. This has been a tough one, for a number of reasons, but I developed a daily writing practice during this semester and I’m so thankful for that.
4) I’ve discovered that even when I feel a “block” I can hear something. I haven’t heard back from Sue for feedback yet, so I’m looking forward to learning if I got anything right!
5) I connected with Scarlett. She seemed like a generous soul, but she was choosy in whom she trusts.
6) I’m still trying the crayon exercise, but I think I’m going to move on to a different exercise and come back to this one when my intuition is stronger, as Val suggested.

1. Which meditations did you do?
Heart Wisdom Love meditation along with meditation music. Animal Reiki meditation for my pups and neighborhood animals who need it. 20 min sessions every evening and mini meditations during the day.2. Practice communicating with at least one animal, what did you discover from the experience?
I communicated with Scarlett (FAT) (Oh my, you’ll have to read that journey of discovery on her FAT page! 🙂 ) and with a dove. For the dove, usually the doves fly away immediately if someone comes near them but this time a dove landed on the fence right above me. I started talking to it and then it flew right above my head, close enough to move my hair, then landed next to me again on the fence. I was near the bird bath so I asked it if it would like water. I held my hand right next to the bird bath and thought the dove was going to land on my hand but it flew right next to my hand, drank some water, flew right at my head again like it was saying hi and thank you, and then flew away. Never has that happened before! I am loving how the wild animals now come so close to me, so trusting.3. What are you grateful for this week?
I am so grateful for Dakota and her partnering with me to practice together with each other’s babies and to help each other strenghten our AC abilities (I will work on chatting with your other babies very soon, Dakota!). I am grateful for Val and this school and all my classmates and animal teachers. I am grateful for every AC experience I have had and look forward to those yet to come! And I am so grateful that Scarlett and Sue helped me understand some new experiences I had when communicating with Scarlett! That was an exciting time!4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week?
When the wild animals come near me and show me they are more trusting of my presence, I was at first worried that if I allowed it, it would give them a false sense of security and they may start approaching other people, who may not be so nice. But as I stay still and just BE with them, I sense they have a knowing already that I am different and mean them absolutely no harm, and they do feel safe coming near me. I can also feel that they know better than to approach others who are not AC’ers. I just realized that this week and it warmed my heart. 🙂 I also learned this week that mastering meditation in all sorts of situations (like in noisy situations, busy/chaotic situations, etc.) is key, not just when sitting in certain positions, with eyes closed, etc. I learned that you can meditate with eyes open, standing up, for example. I learned that mastering meditation in these various situations will help in enhancing the Animal Reiki practices, too. Val’s podcast with Kathleen Prasad in the Animal Reiki course helped open up that whole new world to me (the LAL method).5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Oh my gosh, yes, I reached out to Scarlett and posted my conversation on her FAT forum post. I experienced things never before experienced so that was a very valuable AC with Scarlett. I want to give her my full attention so I will reach out to her again, hopefully on a much clearer channel. I think we had another animal join us, wanting in on the fun (found out it may have been Izzi-in-spirit, Sue’s sweet heart dog!). 🙂 That AC with Scarlett helped teach me some important things that help grow my AC abilities. Sue was a huge help to me in helping me to understand and interpret everything that happened.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
The Clairaudience and Trust exercise – Scarlett and Sue helped me on this one! And still working on the color crayon and conscious breathing exercises. -

4.Wait for the answers, they take time in coming.
5. Tried with no success.
6.Clairaudience overview and first exercise and clairaudience and nature exploration. -

1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Twin Hearts meditation, meditations based on The Great Invocation and Om Mani Padme Hum. Val’s meditations: Stress busting, Mindfulness releasing thoughts, extended awareness meditation (the last two by turn).2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with? Briefly describe what happened. What did you discover or learn from the experience? Post at least one.
I spoke to ATH Kola and posted.3. Name one (or more) thing you want to celebrate or feel grateful for. Post at least one.
I am grateful to Val for pushing me to go back to practicing.4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
Is it a good practice to speak with an animal, then go back after an interval and then put the 2 communications together? This is what I usually do, and not sure if this is advisable.5. Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? What did you discover? If not, why not?
Not yet, as I always prefer to do it for the first time following Val’s guidance.6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuition? Post at least one.
I carried on the practice I did last week of using photos (of my dogs!) instead of cards…I keep them face down, then try to guess whose photo it is, if there is one or more in the photo etc. Unfortunately there’s only 50% accuracy now, so I will persist till it improves. I also followed the suggestion in a later lesson about greeting all animals, as I meet dogs, goats and monkeys on my walks. -

1. Which meditations did you do
Stress Busting meditation several times.
Friend sent me a few mediative music videos that I enjoyed listening to. I remained focused on the music for several minutes at a time which was good for me. I tend to fidget, loose focus if meditations are too long
2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with
A beetle on the path in my backyard/garden. I asked the beetle to turn around and walk towards me if he/she could hear me, which it did. Thanked and complimented on his/her glorious colours of iridescent green and purples.
3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful the lighter evening are getting longer, however I feel it won’t be long before the lighter evening get shorter, specially as were’ now in the 5th month of the year
Am always grateful for any animal that wants to gain my attention and those animals I communicate with
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
The Intention to communicate with an animal is vital. I sometimes find, once I set my intention I connect almost instantly with the animal that I pass in the street, even just for that moment only, Therefore am getting less obsessed and possibly more relaxed about not preparing, e.g meditating, being comfortable etc before communicating with an animal when I am about and about
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Not yet
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week.
I guess the time of day, before checking with a clock. Not wearing a watch for some time has enabled me to be more aware of time in general

1. Meditations: Breathing, Guided, Soft Focus
2. Who I talked with: Shelly C.’s Cubby – in spirit. Cubby was a little dog who left his physical body many years ago. He was so excited to share how much fun being in spirit is – all the cool places he can see and things he can do. He wanted me to encourage his mom to talk to him so he can share with her. I sent a detailed email to Shelly since her dogs are not posted, yet. I was impressed with actually feeling his excitement and energy. By the end when I was expressing my gratitude, I found myself smiling and soaking in the good feelings.
3. Gratitude: I am grateful for my coaching session with Val where she helped me get out of my head and actually feel my pets’ energy.
4. Discoveries: As I am learning and doing more and more with AC I am seeing how other parts of my life are being positively impacted. The things Val teaches are like another facet of what my wife has learned through years of meditation and shared with me. I get the teachings more now because they are focused on animals, so feels more tangible to me.
5. FAT: I have not spoken to our FAT yet this month, but plan to during this upcoming week.
6. Intuition Exercises: Picked up a claw sheath and tried to tell whose it was by feeling its energy, continued with Bonus lessons from the Beginning Foundations course, worked with Val for 30 minutes visiting with mostly Jasper and a little with Max.

1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes. I have been doing extra because work has been very pressured and it’s the only way I can stay serene. I had a wonderful moment one morning where I suddenly understood that I had to just keep walking my path, without fearing the next step or any sudden bends in the road – just to keep going, to keep adapting and no need to fear. This is huge for me – fear of the future has been such a constant shadow in my life and I’m feeling it lifting.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I haven’t communicated deliberately with an animal – just time pressures – but I did communicate with the apple tree. Or rather she communicated with me. I was sitting outside by the tree trying to be calm and enjoy the sunshine. I then gradually felt a sense of love and being embraced and reassured by this tree. It was just beautiful. And I didn’t feel the need for words to validate it all. This is progress for me.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I want to celebrate that I’m moving forward in my life – thanks to animal communication! This isn’t a huge glorious leap or revelation – but a gentle step by step going forward. Before animal communication a I was just stuck, scared and desperate.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
My little moment of enlightenment in meditation. I explained above.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet and I may not be able to join the call on Saturday – which makes me sad. But it may be unavoidable – I’m still trying to get free. But I will catch up the call.
6. This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
Not really. -

#1 Which meditations did you do?
Didn’t feel these went so well this week, they were much shorter than usual and I was very distracted. I kept noticing and observing
#2 What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I talked with Storm (cane corso) during and after her labour. So much to be said here and I need to post a question for Saturday. Finding this situation hard to be an objective listener and to not filter with my opinions.
I briefly connected with a horse named Cas who is losing weight, pretty sure he feels like something going on in his oesophagus and stomach but I feel a bit helpless with suggestions as the horse is under veterinary care and a scope has showed nothing.
#3 What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
Finally getting some good weather!
Really starting to notice synchronicities in my day-to-day life and things just working out
#4 Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I have some deep set beliefs I need to shift about myself to be a better communicator
I need to believe the messages I receive and trust myself, and the animals
I need to diarise my planned communications and stick to it
#5 Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
No, honestly I don’t know where the week has gone
#7 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I have got a deck of cards and am doing the red or black. I felt more what I am after, sometimes the info just dropped in. Not very often but will keep practicing! Also found that my lean in was not accurate
