To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).

The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.

The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.

You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.

Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.

HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:

      1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.

Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.

      2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”

Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.

      6 QUESTIONS

Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.

      1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.

      Which meditations did you do?

      2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.

What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?

      3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.

What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!

What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.

      5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.

Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?

      6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.

Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?

We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email [email protected]

TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.

NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. 1. Meditations?
I did the spirit animal meditation from the masterclass. Wow, the drums really do set the right space and energy. I plan to do that meditation several times to find my spirit animals/totems. I am excited to discover them (even though I know they have always been there, I just didn’t know about them until now). My first meditation showed me a bird that had a thick, wide beak that looked like it could be either a crow or a female cardinal but there was no color so not sure, will try again – and I saw a horse and camel. I think when I do that meditation again, I will see my spirit animals more clearly. I also continued with the active meditations (clearing thoughts while doing whatever I am doing) and staying in the heart love space continuously. During the day I stopped and had quiet meditations for a couple minutes several times throughout the day to calm my mind during the busy-ness at work.

      2. Communicate with at least one animal?
My pups, a couple crickets, my favorite squirrel, and several birds. Fun times. 🥰 I felt love and gratitude from the two crickets I rescued at work. My coworkers yell my name and say, “grab your stuff” (they bought me a bug catching kit so I can rescue them! LOVE IT!). That is my cue to go rescue something. LOL It warms my heart to feel the love and appreciation from the critters I have rescued.

      3. Grateful for?
I am grateful for all I learned in the spirit animal/totem masterclass. I am grateful for Val and how she has taken YEARS of her own learning and experiences and turned it into quick, simple ways for us to communicate with animals. After starting to read the Animal Speak book, and seeing how detailed a lot of the practices can be, it reminds me of how Val really does make it simple for us (if we do our inner work!) and for me, she took hundreds of pages and gave us the key points chiseled down to one masterclass. Val’s meditation for spirit animals was easier to follow and I got results! I didn’t have to go through more complicated steps to reach the same outcome. These days, time is of the essence!

      4. Questions/discoveries?
This week I listened to the masterclass on spirit animals and totems. I was amazed at how the shaman drums Val played in the background during the meditation really did put me in the right state of mind to explore finding my own spirit animals. I could tell the difference in that meditation compared to other meditations. Really a powerful experience. That class inspired me to start reading the book “Animal Speak” by Ted Andrews. In his book, he talks about our imagination and how it IS a reality on some level, how it helps us create a new kind of awareness, and how it triggers higher forms of inspiration and intuition. Val is always telling us “so what if you think it’s your imagination.” NOW I get it! The light bulb turned on. I kept thinking imagination was pure make believe, but it isn’t! Putting that together finally, shows me that, yes, I imagine some things in my AC but SO WHAT. My imagination is a guide to truth, it helps lead me to truth. Just as setting an intention helps get us the answer (as Val teaches us), imagining different things helps us receive AC more quickly and correctly. Oh how I love it when the light bulb turns on! LOL 😁

      5. FAT communication?
I did earlier this month. I plan to check in with Smokey on the class call.

      6. Intuition Lessons/Exercises?
I focused on feelings this week, trying to get better control over them and letting my intuition be my guide. For example, I heard a noise that normally would have startled me, a noise that sounded like someone was in a part of the house that I didn’t think anyone was in at that time. My normal reaction would be fear, a little panic, scared someone got in the house. When I tuned into my intuition, I immediately knew that the sound was nothing to worry about. My intuition said it was fine, I truly felt a sudden calmness and the fear left. I learned that it was just my husband, and I just missed seeing him go to that part of the house. 😅 Actually noticing my intuition kicking in was a wonderful and comforting feeling. I am trying to do that more often so that I can get the clairsentience “feeling floods” to slow down a tad so I can make sense of the feelings I get. I was previously focusing on the clairvoyance and clairaudience, but the clairsentience still overpowers both, so I thought maybe work the other way around and get the clairsentience to share some space first to make room for the other clairs. LOL 😁

      1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Heart wisdom love connection meditation, Twin hearts meditation,The great invocation, forgiveness meditation.

      2. What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
This week I focused only on my dog Blackie, to prepare him for an annual vet visit, which is very stressful for the dogs (and me) as it entails a 3 hour journey over mountain roads, so a whole day’s trip. I had to talk to him constantly the days before, and on the day. I felt that he understood but still could not relax fully.

      3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I am immensely grateful for the recent sessions with Val for Sunny and Blackie…that slots were available when I needed them, and that a timely development made them possible. It was an incredible session which helped me and the boys beyond measure, and I could take an important decision. I’m also grateful to Jade for her time and patience while booking the sessions, as always! Moreover, the internet was down the next day, leading me to miss the call, but despite the weather, there was no problem during the sessions!

      4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I realized that animals can hide their symptoms and issues….I thought Blackie was out of sorts and his blood reports showed some niggles, but I would never have guessed that he was in pain or had so many issues till he told Val.

5 Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not?
Not yet, I always do so the first time during the call, so now I’ll do it with the recording.

6 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses.
This has been an unsettling week, for more reasons than one, so I carried on with the exercise on reading and imagining scenes.

      1. Which meditations did you do?
I continue to meditate daily, or at least when life doesn’t interfere. I tried a new one, Mindfulness and releasing thoughts, before communicating with Stormy. I also tried the extended awareness meditation before trying to communicate with animal teachers

      2. What is their name (of the animal you communicated with) if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I tried to communicate with Beau, a boxer, who belongs to Carol Henson. I got the feeling that he is attracted to a male in the household. I asked if he was sad and he said he was just wondering what his owner wanted and what he was doing with that box. “My owner is very kind but also strict. i love him especially when he plays with me with the ball. Life is good; I enjoy it. I even get to sleep on the bed sometimes if I’m good. I like cats. I like to chase them. “
I’m learning that I need to go deeper to have a full communication. I need a set of possible questions ready and available.

Then I tried to communicate with Jeanette’s Indy, a black and white kitty. When I asked if she/he wanted to talk, I got Yes! Yes! Yes! I told her I was new at this, was that OK and again got Yes! Yes! Yes! “Hi, I’m Indy and I like to play and jump and run. I have brothers and sisters who like to play too. We like boxes and paper and feathers. Life is wonderful. I call my owners, as you put it, mom and dad. They are great but sometimes they get mad.”

I feel like I am way off or right on…Indy “talked” very fast and was hard to keep up with. Then a bee got in the house and I stopped to get it out. When I got back Indy was gone. On to better things… I learned how different these contacts can be.

      3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I’m grateful for my knitting. I’m not that great at it, but it calms me down and centers me (almost like meditating) in addition to doing something creative. I go to a weekly knitting support class where I can try more complicated patterns and there’s a teacher there to help. I give most of what I knit to charity
I am also grateful for my plant room that’s full of plants (surprise) I love the plants and love caring for them. And I’ve tried communicating with them, asking them how much water they needed. I believe I was successful.

      4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
Can animals reach out and “see” us when we are making a telepathic connection? Or am I letting my own thoughts get in the way? (ex Smokey wanting my cookie)

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
I tried to communicate with Smokey. He said he was very happy in his home now and was very fond of Elizabeth. He also wanted the cookie I was eating. (How can that be!?) I decided to try a short meditation –the 7 minute mindfulness one—to try to get centered and block out the “noise”. I tried again to focus on Smokey. I only got that he liked to run and feel the wind in his mane.

      6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?

Intuition: communicating with animals I meet
I tried this at work, the pet store. Several dogs came in to get their nails clipped. Some were unresponsive but others were very adamant about not wanting their nails clipped. Lily, like several others, simply said they didn’t like it and wanted to go. A beagle, whose name I did not know was not getting her nails clipped but her friend dog was. I took the beagle to the other end of the pet store so she wouldn’t be in the way. She was adamant that she wanted to go back to her daddy. I also asked a rat with lots of new babies how she felt about her children. She said it was neither good nor bad. It was just a job. Several of the other rats stated rather firmly that they wanted out. I asked a jumping spider what her name was and she replied, Matilda. When I asked what she was doing, she said repairing her web that had been torn down by the people.

      Intuition: Who is calling you?
I choose Carmen’s Cricket (in spirit) because he/she reminds me of my precious cat Sammy who passed several months ago. Cricket told me she missed Carmen but things were different in the spirit world. Those kinds of relationships don’t exist. I asked if she was able to contact Sammy and she said yes and she did. She said she only had to think about him. I told Sammy how much I missed him and he said he would come back but he didn’t know when or what shape he would be in. I asked him how to deal with my grief and he said he would send me a friend. This was a powerful conversation.

      1. Which meditations did you do?
-Focusing on everything I could see, hear and feel, whilst walking to work.
-A morning meditation with Kyle Gray
      -A morning Qi Gong session
-The Heart meditation on Saturday’s call.
-Breath and heart meditation prior to Reiki session.
-Dropping into my heart everytime I need to calm or try to refocus.

Which animal(s) did I communicate with?
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I tried talking to the mice who have moved in to my mum’s house.
The first time I spoke to the little mouse in the picture I shared on Facebook and asked it to speak to the matriarch and tell her that they are in danger and must leave now. I think I was a bit panicky then, so didn’t have a proper conversation.
I tried again the next day and asked to speak to the matriarch. I felt a stronger energy overshadow the other animals as the matriarch came through and she asked what I had to say.
I explained that I was there was there with love, but that her family was in danger and needed to move out now. I felt a panic going on behind her and a sense of lots of mice scurrying around. I asked why they were living in the house and she told me it was warm and dry. I explained my mum’s perspective and why she had called in the exterminator. I explained that if they didn’t leave they would all die a horrible death from the poison, so had to leave.
I suggested a couple of places that they could go, outdoors, or maybe in sheds.
Only time will tell whether my connection was accurate, or effective, but I tried.
I’ve also tried connecting more with my dogs. I felt a connection and heard, but didn’t really get much back.

      3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
The gift of animal communication to help me try to save the mice.

      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
The sense of the matriarch overshadowing the mice was an interesting experience. Her energy was very strong, and I had a sense of the other mice in the background too, which I suspect was through her connection.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Yes, in the Q&A call. At first I didn’t think I picked up a lot, but on writing it down and hearing Martha share similar feedback I realised that I had actually picked up a lot. The feedback I received proved it to be one of my most accurate communications.

      6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
Trying to expand my awareness and stay present whilst out walking.

I talked with Smokey during the call and Elizabeth confirmed a lot of things I said
I talked with a new client dog who was scheduled to be euthanized because of her illness and not eating well. I told the humans what she wanted and they did eat and she is eating again and WAS NOT EUTHANIZED!
I Talked with a new cat client as well.

      1.  Which meditations did you do

Calming breathing exercises. Stress busting. Listened to 30 min relaxing meditation session

Terrible few week that is continuing into another week that is affecting my Ac and general well being

      2.  What is the name (or species type of the being you practiced communicating with

      Smokey – horse at Val’s Q + A session

Plus keeping connected to injured Tuxedo Princess (living with me) whose guardian still does not want anything to do with Princess – makes me sad and annoyed by guardians behaviour

      3.  What are you grateful for this week

Not much this week except Tuxedo Princess is making progress in her recovery
Grateful injured Tuxedo Princess, a neighbours cat, taking up residence in my home, is making good progress in recovery, after her accident, especially after last Friday’s setback at suddenly seeing loss of fur around 3 bloodied puncher type wounds to her injured leg that were not visible when first injured. Relief wounds now look stabilised, pink with fur growing back. a

      4.  Questions and/or Discoveries

How is the best way to engage with a guardian that is not interested ,at all, in helping their injured animal without me being aggrieved with the guardian and my emotions at the situation bouncing off the wall so to speak. Tuxedo Princess’ sister still resides at the guardian home.

      5.  Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher

Yes. During the Sat12 Sep Q +A call  Will post in forum

      6.   Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week

Nothing specific this week. Using my intuition. whenever possible  My initial instincts with Tuxedo Princess guardian proved correct.

1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I’ve done a little. I’ve gone down with Covid and have been very dizzy and unwell so not much is happening here at all.
      2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I practised with Smokey – I got some right and some wrong. It’s all to do with how much I manage to leave my thinking mind.
      3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I’m feeling really unwell and its wonderful to have Elsa here to snuggle into her fur – which she tolerates for a few seconds.
      4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
I’ve realised how attached I am to thinking. This is great – I can practice not thinking and be very happy about it now.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes – see above. I missed the actual FAT call because I have been ill but hope to catch up this week.
      6. This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, whi ch one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
No – just trying to get through the days with covid.

Rosemary, Covid is no joke! Rest well and take care of yourself. I hope you feel much better soon.
        Sending healing thoughts!

Thank you Elizabeth. I haven’t had it before – I am finding quite hard hitting! I’m finally beginning to get better slowly so all good news. x

      1. I’ve done the Stress Busting meditation and the Heart Wisdom Love meditation several times. I did a chakra balancing meditation on YouTube. This week has been a little rushed on everything and I need to meditate right before bed. That will help me be in a better state as I go into sleep.

      2. I communicated with some kind of insect when it landed on my computer keyboard. After centering myself and talking to it, it jumped from the keyboard onto my hand! It was a cute little green guy, so I wasn’t immediately scared of it (I’m getting to the love, but I’m not there yet) and I got the distinct impression it was a baby and it was lost. I asked it if it would let my husband take it outside where there might be more of its kind, and it calmly walked onto his hand and took a ride. I said a little prayer that it found a friend.

      3. I’m leaving tomorrow for a quick work conference (will be back for the Saturday call—yay!) and I’m thankful for a husband who loves the animals like I do and takes care of them while I’m gone so I don’t have to worry.

      4. See number six for a more detailed explanation, but I realized two things: that my mind and body really need a lot of rest (I have a chronic illness that hasn’t been going well lately, but I have high hopes that’s turning around) and that I shouldn’t be disheartened when things go wrong. It’s all in approaching it with curiosity!

      5. Smokey has been very cheery this week. He’s really enjoyed all the attention. He’s such a ham. My husband and I sang “Let it be” to him and I could swear he laughed with delight!

      6. I went back to discerning colors to see whether my earlier success had been a fluke and I was pretty bad at it this time. I don’t know if I was distracted or what, but that was a bit of a let-down. I refocused my thoughts and recognized that I was extremely tired. I think I’ll have better experiences when my mind and heart are fresh. I was proud of myself for realizing that!

      1. Meditation: Breathing, mindfulness, relaxation

      2. Who did I talk with: Max – helping him understand about the new litter box and about the upcoming trip. Also all our other animals – explaining about our upcoming trips.

      3. Gratitude: I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with my adult kids. This week I had dinner with my daughter and her partner. Tomorrow I will be going to a movie with my son. These are my favorites times in my weeks.

      4. Discoveries: Lexi has gotten to be so confident, independent and curious. She’s come a long ways from the shelter kitty she was 7 months ago. It’s been wonderful to see her grow and feel her energy become so much more positive.

      5. FAT: I have still not spoken with the FAT. I am still using medications for back pain that change my energy and ability to focus. I know when I have not been taking anything I need to try to speaking with the FAT or someone since it has been several weeks, and it is impacting my confidence in learning to communicate well.

      6. Intuition Exercises: I have been focussing on Shasta’s energy when she is feeling very loving in the early mornings. I am trying to give her what she needs and wants during these times in hopes that she will express her love at other times, too. I have also been taking time to enter her world and meet her where she is – let her show me what she’s looking at outside, watching her play with a spider, and encouraging her silly play on the stairs.

      1. I listened to a music cd for stilling your mind. I meditate when ever I am bothered by news or something else that happened that day. I detach at the end of the day as well. I will be downloading Val’s meditations onto a cd so I can take them with me. I find such peace listening to her voice.

      2. A bunny that comes to feed in our yard. They are not afraid to have me outside when they eat the clover. Unfortunately the yard was cut so the clover is gone.

      3. I am grateful for my homeopathic vet who is helping me with Layla’s tummy problems. I am also grateful for Layla in my life. She keeps me going.

4.Lots of questions: why can’t I concentrate on my AC? Where are my thoughts and beliefs going? Why do I keep having a constant exhausting battle with my mind and thoughts? Why do I feel nothing when I listen to the Q and A calls? Why do I feel adrift in this sea of life?

      5. I have approached this lovely animal but haven’t connected.

      6. Hearing , feeling, my intuition spoke up loud and clear with such a strong feeling about a trail I wanted to walk Layla on. I did not go to that trail, instead I asked my intuition to guide me to another which it did. The first trail had been sprayed with a pesticide and my intuition kept us safe. Why does man have to kill everything with chemicals?
