ModeratorTo help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email [email protected]
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.

Platinum Member1. Meditations?
I spent around 15 minutes most days meditating to the drum meditation music. I find that listening to the repetitive drum beats really clears my mind of all thoughts and I just focus on the beats. So relaxing and refreshing. It almost feels like my mind takes a bath and is all cleaned out afterwards. 🙂 I also continued throughout the day, every day, with staying in the heart love space as taught in the heart wisdom love meditation. And I meditated to body healing frequency music to help calm pain in my hip/back from an old injury that flared up. I’ll have to work on the healing masterclasses next.2. Communicate with at least one animal?
I was in my car driving down the road when several little butterflies started all flying into the road and right into the cars. Every so often, we get a huge influx of these babies migrating to the area and sadly, many lose their lives being hit by all the cars. My heart breaks every time they do this. All of a sudden, I felt in my spirit what I needed to do. So, I imagined putting a love energy barrier up to surround the road and the cars to keep the butterflies safe and I told them to fly over the barrier so they wouldn’t get hit and killed. Right after I did that, the butterflies stopped flying into the road. I saw them all over the sides of the road, but I didn’t see any swarms fly into the cars. After driving several miles, I got distracted and wasn’t as focused on the protection barrier and when that happened, several started flying back into the road. I immediately focused back on the barrier and the butterflies went back to the side of the road. It took a lot of energy to keep that focus going but it was worth it because it kept them off of the road so they wouldn’t get hit. I wish the barrier would stay up and keep them all safe but maybe my message to them helps them stay away from the cars.I also talked to Missy again (Natalie’s horse), she visited me this time during a meditation. It was such a nice visit with her. I posted about that on her ATH page. ❤️
3. Grateful for?
Where to begin this week…..so much to be grateful for. I am grateful again for what I learned this week in my AC journey as well as my continued spiritual journey. I am so grateful for having a safe space to talk about what I experience and learn in AC without being judged or shunned. It is so nice having friends here (human and animal) who experience the same things, and we can share the journey together. I am grateful for my two pups who bring me such joy, love, and happiness.4. Questions/discoveries?
This week, I got to see just how much focus and energy it takes at times to accomplish certain AC tasks. I am sure the better and more proficient I get in my AC abilities and the more I practice putting my energy to work for the greater good, the less energy it will consume in the future when doing things like focusing on the love energy barrier to keep the butterflies safe. My energy is like a muscle, I have to exercise it properly to keep it strong and healthy. 😄I also realized the time is coming where I need to start having more in-depth conversations with my own pups. I am so close to them on every level and with them every minute of my time when I am at home, and I know we always communicate but I am missing out on something greater. I have so many great, detailed talks with other animals that I want that now with my pups. More than the old, “what do you want for dinner” type conversations. 😄 I know my boys have some great wisdom they can share with their momma. 🥰 LOL
5. FAT communication?
I didn’t have a chance this week.6. Intuition Lessons/Exercises?
Still listening for the animals who call me so I can talk to them. My clairvoyance kicked up a notch this week when Missy came for a spiritual visit. I saw her this time in addition to the feelings and knowings. That is a good sign that my visual intuition is starting to grow stronger. -

Platinum Member1. Stress busting, Ambiance( I love it), Prayers of the heart and love meditation is my favorite.
2. A cat that came by the house, noisy blue jays, Stubborn squirrels, and a quiet chipmunk. I called the cat to me and after hesitating it came for some pettings. I told the squirrels the ground in the garden box will freeze and they won’t be able to get food from there in winter that they hid. The chipmunk just sits and sends a quiet message that it would like some peanuts. I discovered nature is in a hurry and demanding.
3. I am grateful for Val and Jade for all their help. Also all my friends in the AC group and the answers to my intentions that the universe is sending me.
4. I discovered the animals know what I am saying and stop to listen.
5. I have tried but my pain must still be blocking the conversation.
6. Tasting things, some foods are yukky. Some are yummy.

Platinum Member1. I’ve done the Stress Busting meditation and the Heart Wisdom Love meditation several times. I did another chakra balancing meditation on YouTube. I listened to the Three Advanced Healing Techniques: Wei Qi Clone and Patch, God’s Healing Vault, and the Healing Sarcophagus masterclass and was intrigued by the mandala meditation, so I listened to/watched a mandala meditation on YouTube.
2. I communicated with Patty Miller’s horse Shiloh. I focused on the questions she would like to have answered (about whether he needs a companion and what to feed him through the winter). I sensed that he deeply wants a companion and saw a miniature horse or small pony. I also got a picture of a warm mash of soaked hay cubes and beet pulp. I don’t usually see images when I communicate with animals, so it was cool to have that intuitive sense finally awaken! I posted in the forum and hope Patty sees it.
3. I’m thankful to be home, to not have gotten sick during my conference, and to have finished with out-of-town conferences for the year. I’m thankful for all the guidance I’ve gotten from Smokey this month, especially the idea that I’m right where I am supposed to be and need to be.
4. In listening to the Three Advanced Healing Techniques, I wondered whether those techniques could be applied to emotional/mental/spiritual healing as well as physical healing. I asked this question on the Facebook page and am really curious for the answer.
5. I still have trouble getting clear communications from my own animals, but I’m learning to trust the process. As Smokey told one of the other students, communicating with animals is much easier than you think it is. I’m going to trust my boy in this!
6. I pulled a card from my horse oracle deck this morning and it told me to be more assertive and trust myself more. It basically asked a variation of the question, what would you do if you had no fear? What does this have to do with intuition? I trusted my intuition when I felt led to reach out to Patty’s Shiloh and I trusted the images I got from him. That’s huge for me!

Platinum Member1. Which meditations did you do?
-Making time to drop into my heart centre and focus on love this week in order to try to communicate with Daisy and try to manage my emotions and not overwhelm her with them.
-On Sunday I woke up at 5:30am, lit candles and incense, put on some reiki music, did some angelic healing on Daisy and meditated for 2 hours, finding my peace and coming to terms with the decision to let her go. This also brought Daisy a lot of peace.Which animal(s) did I communicate with?
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I have been focussing on communicating with Daisy this week. I’ve done lots of Ho’oponopono and explained what treatments we have tried, why she needed to take her meds and end of life options.
I didn’t get any response via the usual clairs, but I did get a strong knowing that she understood. She took her meds no problem and was able to tell me what she wanted in her way, through moving, eye contact and her subtle eye movements. My son was away and switched to an earlier flight to see her before we went to the vets. I had told her that he was coming and that when she had seen Jamie we would go to the vets, where they would help her end her pain and move on to rainbow bridge where she could run, see her little rat friends and play again. When Jamie cam home and fussed her for a bit she looked at me and came over, somehow letting me know that she was ready.
I feel that this communication was so different to any other animal communication, as I didn’t get a response through language or images, but it felt very real. A shared understanding.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
All the wonderful years I’ve had with Daisy, my wonderful family, for how we all pulled together to support each other through this difficult time and for all the wonderful people in this group who have sent their support and healing, especially Nita. Thank you.4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
Maybe that I’ve believed I’ve been struggling with animal communication all this time with my own dogs, that it never occurred to me that we were communicating every day through a shared understanding of each other and our deeper connection. Sometimes you just don’t need words or images, you just know – like when you speak a language fluently, you don’t need a translator, or images showing to you, you just know.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
No, not since the Q&A call – I’ve just been focussed on Daisy this week, whilst she’s been ill.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
Just trying to stay connected with Daisy as much as possible this week, focussing on how she was feeling and how I could help.-

Platinum MemberOh Melanie, that’s so kind of you…there was little I could do, but it was an honor to connect with Daisy and be part of her journey. Thank you for sharing it with me. What a beautiful way to prepare her for crossing the bridge…may she RIP. Much love and prayers for all of you as you get used to being without her physical presence, though she is always with you in spirit. Blessings

Platinum Member1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one,
Heart wisdom love connection. Apart from the guided meditation by Val, I’ve done the latter a few times briefly, on my own. Twin Hearts meditation, The Great invocation.2. What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I spoke with Bear from the ATH page, and will post after making another connection.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
We just lost an elephant, Suzy, who was sponsored by my son for years. She was old and blind, rescued from a circus, and I’m so grateful that we got to know her, that her last years were spent in care and comfort, and that she passed suddenly, without pain.4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
Is it common for dogs to hide their pain? Blackie showed no signs, yet revealed to Val that it has been at 5 for 3 months.5 Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not?
Yes, posted and got feedback.6 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
Since I’ve decided to persist sufficiently with each exercise, I’ve been trying to think of when an animal understood me (carrying on from last week) and remembered a time few years ago. We get troops of monkeys here, provoking all the dogs and creating havoc. So I spoke to them (didn’t know then that it’s more effective to single out the leader) asking them to please cross the fence to the adjacent jungle. To my great surprise, they did just that! Another time, suddenly a swarm of bees appeared just outside the kitchen window, planning to stay there. I requested them to move to a location a bit farther away…the next day they were gone! Not sure if it was a coincidence, or maybe they really understood. -

I didn’t find the list if exercises – just list of meditations.
I remember some of them though. One was about a time when an animal understood me.
One time I called Hawkeye without using my physical voice and he came !

Gold Member1. Meditations: Breathing, Mindfulness
2. Who did I talk with: Elizabeth’s Smokey, last month’s FAT. He is a horse. I posted our full conversation but his message for me was that I had some dreams and goals from the past that are no longer relevant to the person I am now. He helped me experience what it would feel like to let them go. I felt like I was in his body feeling light and airy but grounded and solid. It was a good feeling.
3. Gratitude: My wife and I are into our second week of a 19-day RV trip with our kitties, Max, Shasta and Lexi and we have noticed Max is spending more time with the girls. He often hides from them (and Lexi’s still kitten-y ways) and when in the RV we don’t usually see him until evening. Max has been coming out more, sleeping within a short distance of Shasta, and coming right back out from wherever Lexi has chased him. This is huge progress in their relationship. I am super happy about it and hope it extends to our house once we are home.
4. Discoveries/Questions: Sometimes I get a very clear feeling during the course of a conversation with an animal, and I feel strongly that we have really connected. Other parts of the same conversation feel different – like I am getting things, but I don’t feel as certain about them. I am not sure if that means I am just making up parts subconsciously, or if I only deeply feel something when it is an important message that I need to pay attention to. I guess conversations with other humans are that way – some parts are just chatter and others contain significant information. I want to pay closer attention to this and communicate more and get feedback from other class members.
5. FAT: I have not spoken with this month’s FAT, but it’s only Oct. 1. 🙂
6. Intuition Exercises: I listed to the Bonus Lesson – Coaching Power Call. My Golden Nugget is: Be a detective. Funny, I have been watching season 4 of True Detective where Jody Foster plays a police chief. She constantly tells her charges, “Ask the question,” and often when they do, she tells them that’s not the right question, ask again. It reminds me of Val telling us to ask questions and if we aren’t getting anything useful, ask a different question. So, the key in both cases is asking the right questions.

Platinum MemberSo happy to hear that Max is starting to come out of his shell around the kitties! Woo hoo! Maybe being in the RV gave him a little push because he’s limited on places to hide. LOL Sweet Max. I hope he keeps that up when you get back home.
(Side note: Apparently I can now only put text and no emojis in my replies so just pretend this reply is full of smiley, hug, and heart emojis. LOL! 🙂 )

Gold Member1. Which meditations did you do
Check during the day, I am keeping in the ‘heart love space’ active for when animals cross my path. Stress busting several times a week. After another stressful day, listened to calming music to clear my mind and settle my breathing, however, fell asleep. Awoke to silence. The 60 mins music session had finished. Need to check out the other meditations
2. What is the name (or species type of the being you practiced communicating with
Smokey, a gray horse – Sep FTA. A bluebottle fly landed on my hand to stay a while. Looked closely at fly’s beautiful iridescent colours and became fascinated by how it was cleaning itself. Informed fly how beautiful it was and that its feet/arms tickled. Heard a soft faint giggle.
3. What are you grateful for this week
Grateful for my guides and other helpers that help me in my animal communications. Grateful injured Tuxedo Princess is still making a good recovery. Still upset that tuxedo’s guardian is not concerned in any way with tuxedo’s welfare. That my communications with Smokey, may have helped his guardian, Elizabeth, and her doubts in riding Smokey again
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
I cannot change Tuxedo Princess guardians’ behaviour, thoughts or concerns by whatever means that the guardian should be concerned and act upon Tuxedo’s well being. Believe guardian is not bothered as someone else (me) is taking on the responsibility of caring for tuxedo Princess. I do wonder how, or if, the guardian would react if Tuxedo’s sister, mostly an indoor cat, was in a similar situation as her sister (Tuxedo Princess). Authorities may have taken both cats and we may not have seen them again. The guardian is aware that other neighbours are aware of the situation and would be answerable to them
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Yes. Posted in the forum. Received feedback.
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
Had a strong feeling about visiting a particular social gathering that I don’t often attend, Outcome was that a person I knew was feeling overwhelmed by 2 specific situations, not of his making. Appx 2 hours of discussion later, the person felt calmer, had a plan on how to move forward and resolve the issues. Usually attempt to tap into my intuition whenever possible

Platinum MemberMeditation: I did the ambiance meditation and began to use is as I traveled around Maui. In particular I tried to notice the ambiance at the butterfly farm; the peacefulness of being in an enclosed space with dozens of butterflies… one lightly landed on my finger, and several on a sprig of flowers s in my hand. Later I used ambiance as I walked on the beach. When I returned home, I did my hemi sync chakra cleansing meditation.
.2 What is their name (of the animal you commutated with) if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience? At work I briefly communicated with a Guinea pig who said his name was Rodney. He was a little skittish, but said it was because I was so big. He said he liked his life, liked food, liked hay, and liked companionship. (He was alone in his cage) There’s such a difference between Rodney and Smokey the horse. Rodney is a simple guy but Smokey was ‘deep’, I also communicated with Carol Hanson’s dog Layla. “I like to run. I like cats. I’m happy. I love life. I’ve got the perfect life, the perfect family (mom , dad, & kids) a perfect place to live with lots of space to run. I like to put my chin on dad’s leg and look at him until he pets me or takes me out to play with sticks. Sometimes I gulp my food and mom tells me to slow down. They found me at a shelter when I was a puppy. I’m glad they did.
3. What are you grateful for this week? I’m very grateful to have a wonderful home, considering how many people from Lahaina lost their homes in the fire and the government has been so slow to help them! Many are living in tents on the beach after a year. Our tour guide opened her two bed room one bath home to 12 of her family when they lost their homes.
4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? These animals are so different! No personality is anywhere near the same. And yet, I still struggle with self-doubt. But even the animals encourage me. I’m not using the forum because I don’t really know what I’m doing. I would like to communicate more with other students but I don’t understand the procedure.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Yes, I communicated with Alfie. It was a surprise when I went to the site expecting Stormy, but I will enjoy getting to know Alfie. It took a few minutes to “warm up” but that happened with Stormy also. Alfie started talking when I mentioned that Chihuahuas bark a lot. He said that his job was to warn people and when you are small, all you can do is bark. He loves his people and wants to protect them. His people include Shelly and her children. He says he’s not young but not old either. He’s good at cuddling, he says, and likes to sit on laps. He’s also good at eating. He likes his food but he’s not lazy. He gets lots of exercise. He runs and jumps really well. We’ll get to know each other better later on.6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week?
What makes for a great life? I asked Carmen’s cat, Stormy some questions about a great life. First I asked for his permission and then this is what he had to say: OK, get on with it. Sure I’ve thought about life. Life is great because of how you live it. If you do nothing but sit around and do nothing life is not great. You need to accomplish something.. I’ve accomplished a lot. I’ve fathered many children before I had an operation. I’ve chased many mice and other critters. I’ve kept our home safe. It’s my job to keep our home safe and to tend to my owners—keep them in line so to speak. A great life is to have someone to love and to be loved and I have that. My best accomplishment is working with all the students like you to better understand how to communicate and the universe. Come back any time to talk and learn. Before I go, I want to say one thing. Keep working. You can accomplish much.
Remember any past lives? I used the stress buster meditation to get started. I went to Carmen’s cat Stormy. He told me he wanted to talk and remembered some past loves but then said he didn’t want to share. I was disappointed. Felt sure it was me. Felt sure all the other conversations I’d had were me talking to myself. Went away and pouted for a while, then got reenergized and came back and talked to Dakota’s cat Shasta. I asked Shasta how He/she liked being a teacher animal and she stated that she didn’t know it would be so much work. We went on to talk about past lives. “I remember being a dog,” She didn’t know if it was normal to change species, but she did. She liked being a dog. It was fun being big and aggressive. Not mean, just powerful. I like being a cat too, it’s just different. Don’t know where it was. I think it was a long time ago. I helped my master herd animals and watch over them at night. I had lots of responsibility. I chose to be a cat this life time because it would be much simpler–an easier life. I don’t think any of my current people were in that life. I have lots of responsibility now but it’s a different kind. I don’t think I was ever a person that I can remember

Platinum MemberI’ve been slowly getting back to meditating in the mornings. I did some silent ones in teh evenings before communicating following the recording.
I practised with Elsa – I was feeling very disconnected. I did a formal connect in and had a really beautiful conversation. I don’t know if I made it up. She showed me her sense of belonging in the world. She showed me how when she is sitting and looking around when we are out on a walk, she is connecting with the air and earth’s energy. This is very pertinent to me because it is a huge gap for me – an area that needs healing. After this conversation, I feel I have changed regarding this. I’m feeling a stronger sense of self and confidence is coming more easily. A huge change summarised in a such a short paragraph.
I’m grateful for the patience of people in this club with my slow progress 🙂
I’ve discovered that I can do this but only if I settle myself and get very quiet. I can’t do it when I’m all noisy from my day job. I have to remember this because I get frustrated.
No, not yet.
I’ve been doing a lot of breath exercises to help me sleep. I think they work better in the night than visualisation etc which still leaves me exhausted in the morning.
