ModeratorErika T. has volunteered to host her dog, Ashton, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) during August 2024. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
We encourage all of you to connect with Ashton now and throughout the month.
Tune into Ashton first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Ashton feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc. Ask Ashton ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Gold and Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Ashton along with Val on the Q&A call August 10th. Check your time on a world clock for call time of 11:30am Eastern / 10:30am Central Texas. World Clock at https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html) Call reminder emails will be emailed to you. Also, call information found in your course materials.
Have fun practicing your communication skills in this supportive setting! Lots of interesting discoveries happen here.

Platinum MemberSome of this information feels very specific, so I’m not sure how accurate I am, but I won’t learn if I don’t share, so here goes.
Ashton is a beautiful soul – felt very clever, but very wary. Hasn’t always had it easy. Her energy felt female, but I didn’t ask.
I got that she was rescued from the streets – Romania came into my head.
I picked up that she’s happy with current home and well looked after, but misses their pack. Some rescued, some not. Felt sad about it.
I felt that the first connection was a little rushed, so I felt very reluctant to post it initially. However, I’ve tried connecting in again after a long meditation and some of the info I picked up seemed to reinforce what I got the first time.
I still got again that she has come to you as a rescue from abroad and I saw an image of her in a crate with a plane nearby.
She said she likes chicken, but I couldn’t pick up a sense of any toys that she likes to play with. I asked how long she has lived with you and got 2 years. I asked if she had a message for you and felt a sense of gratitude for you from her.
Thank you for letting with your lovely dog.

Platinum MemberHi Melanie,
Thanks for taking the time to connect with Ashton. He’s a boy, but he does have a more feminine energy; he mostly hangs out with our 2 girl dogs, so he’s almost “one of the girls.”
You’re right that he’s clever and wary; he had a very rough start in life, and we didn’t rescue him until he was about 3 years old. We had to help him with a lot of healing. We are in the US, North Carolina specifically. He was rescued from a hoarding case with about 40-50 other dogs who were in bad conditions with him, and while we know where several of his siblings are, roughly 10 were found dead and many others went off to different rescues.
He spent his life in an outside crate/kennel that was covered in tarps, but he was transported to the rescue in a crate via a car.
He loves chicken (actually he loves EVERY food. I haven’t seen him turn anything down yet, haha). He’s not a big fan of toys and tends to ignore them. He’ll lie on a dog bed while his siblings play with toys.
You’re spot on — we’ve had him for 2 years this month! Thank you for passing along his gratitude; it’s obvious from his body language and changed behavior (since when he first came to us) that he’s much happier.
Fantastic job!

Platinum MemberHi Erika and Ashton!
Tonight, Tues 8/6/24, at 6:35 pm US Central Time, I reached out to Ashton. I am quite amazed at how I receive more detailed messages, feelings, images from animals now compared to when I first started AC. My talk with Ashton was wonderful and so detailed. Here is how it went.I asked Ashton if he was able to talk and I introduced myself to him. I felt he was able to talk so I asked him if he would tell me a little about himself. I got a feeling that he was a little bashful and shy, a gentle soul, he gave me the impression he doesn’t like to be hot, he prefers to be in a cool place, something cool to touch his skin. I asked if he had anything around him that he really liked. He showed me the color yellow. I didn’t see what that yellow was, so I don’t know if it was maybe a ball/toy/cloth blanket or something, I just saw a lot of yellow. Then he showed me red, something shaped like a bowl. He showed me that he has siblings (of the animal kind 🙂). He said he gets along with them but does prefer to do his own thing oftentimes. I asked if he had a favorite activity, and he showed me he likes to run around outside and explore. I asked if he had been with you his whole life and I got a feeling he was rescued by you, you saved him.
I told him I thought he had the most beautiful skin markings and that he was quite a handsome fellow. He said yes, he is very unique and special. He said some people look at him oddly, but he knows he is special, so he pays that no attention. He said his “features make me, me”.
He showed me that he is a deep thinker, he contemplates things often. I asked if he could share some of the wisdom he has and he said “there is more around us than what we see with our eyes. Look past what you “see”. There is so much more there that you don’t see with your eyes. LOOK at it without eyes and you will see it, too.” I must add that to my animal wisdom journal I am going to start keeping! ❤️
I thanked him for talking to me and sharing what he shared. I sent him lots of love and kisses and told him how much I appreciated him and for helping us this month.
He is such a gentle soul. I am looking forward to getting to know him this month! Thank you for sharing him with us!

Platinum MemberHey Shelly,
Thanks for chatting with Ashton; you did a great job!
Ashton is a bit shy and wary of new people at first. He likes to approach them on his terms, but never wants to be the center of attention. He’s exceptionally gentle and patient, and his body does seem to run hot, even without much hair. He loves the AC and being inside during the summer!
I’m trying to think of what may be yellow, but I’m having a tough time. We don’t really have any yellow things in our house, but if something comes to me, I’ll let you know! If he showed you a bowl, it’s because he LOVES food. His dinner bowl is purple, but his brother has a red one, and Ashton licks it once his brother is finished eating. He does have a lot of animal siblings (3 other dogs and 5 cats). He is so good with the cats, and he loves hanging out with the 2 girl dogs, but he often lies by himself while they play with toys or run in the yard. He seems very content to just “be.” Yes, we rescued him 2 years ago from a really bad hoarding situation.
He does have beautiful skin markings, and he’s SO SOFT! When we adopted him, he was covered in a terrible yeast infection, so his skin was red, scaly, itchy, and painful. He had very little hair and he could barely stand to be touched. Now that his hair has grown in (as much as it can), he’s quite unique-looking with his random bald spots, but I think he’s very handsome.
He does seem to be a deep thinker. He has the energy of a wise older soul and despite his past, he’s grateful and hopeful for his future. I’m quite impressed by his resilience. His advice to you is beautiful, and he’s so right. There’s so much more than “the physical,” and that’s what we’re learning in this group. I’m excited to learn more from him this month through all of you.❤️
You did a wonderful job connecting and understanding him. Thank you for taking the time to do so!

Platinum MemberThank you so much for your very helpful feedback! It is very encouraging to hear that I heard/felt correctly on many things. I tried to remember how I felt when I received each answer so that I would know how it feels to be off and how it feels to be on. I find it easier now to be able to expand my focus so that I can not only receive their messages, but I can recall how it felt when I received it so I can fine tune the communication when I don’t hear as clearly on something. I am excited to chat with Ashton again. Thank you for sharing him with us! 🥰

Platinum MemberHello Erika
Thank you for offering Ashton as the Featured Animal Teacher. He’s a beautiful Soul! Here are my notes from my conversation with Ashton during the club call:
Ashton
Im always very proud of myself and Mommy
I take care of her in more ways than she knows.
I give her many things in addition to Love
I am always curious about my family regardless if what species. I tend to make myself heard and known but I also can be quiet
I am not fussy
I understand easily and well.
Mommy is my Soulmate
I almost died once in a previous life
I am a superb listener
I saw blue. Color like medium sapphire blue. I heard this is to guide me to speak my truth. Do what I want when I want. Say no if that weighs on the scale of resonation more. Showed pendulum with different weight. Sometimes what is your truth is whatever comes to mind first or comes even before mind. SOMETIMES it’s the truth and it’s inside or above in the purple.Belly good face around eyes and gums good. Rub ears. PAWS HELL NO! ABSOLUTELY NEVER. I RUN AWAY AND LET OUT A YELP YOU COULD HEAR ACROSS THE FIELD.
About your neck and such. It’s going to work itself out. I’m telling you STRESS LESS! My God! If you don’t know answer or aren’t sure which or you make mistakes in any way at all in any direction, it’s okay. LET IT BE. LET IT PAUL! Sent smile face if him.
I Love apples!

Platinum MemberHi Martha,
Thanks for talking to Ashton. You are spot on with some of your notes — he’s very curious about his housemates/family members (cats, dogs, humans), and it’s obvious he’s listening and observing things around him and thinking about them. He’s usually very quiet, but when he’s excited he barks LOUDLY! He gets excited for car rides, walks, and food, and he’ll let us know just how excited he is. 🙂 He’s not fussy at all. He’s surprisingly tolerant and patient about most things and just goes with the flow.I love that he’s proud of himself, and I’m touched that he’s proud of me, too. I have come to figure that he and I are soulmates; I think I’m here to help him heal from his past, and he’s here to guide/teach me about my spiritual journey.
I’m curious about him almost dying; I’m assuming he meant in the earlier part of this life. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t be surprised considering the state of him when he came to us.
When I think about colors, I associate him with Blue because he’s found his voice, and apparently, he’s here to teach. I love that.
You’re also correct about where he likes to be touched. He hates his feet to be touched (they were once urine-burned and extremely sensitive). Though they’ve healed, I think they’re prone to yeast flare-ups and itching, and may sometimes be sensitive.
It sounds like he had some good advice for you, too. 🙂
Thanks for talking with him, Martha! Great job!

Platinum MemberHi Erika! I connected with Ashton during the live call and wanted to share some of what I got. Ashton was wary but open when I approached him. I got the feeling that he wants to observe people and their energy before he comes near them. His energy was strong and he’s definitely content with himself.
He’s been through a lot and has learned a great deal in his life. He chooses not to dwell on the past, but to focus on the here and now, where he’s happy and loved. I got the impression that he was an angel and a teacher. He’s definitely an old soul.
He wanted me to stroke his ears and back (he nosed me until I got to the right places, ha!). His aura was sort of a bright blue. I don’t usually get colors, so this was exciting to see!
The live calls move a little too fast for me, so I need to connect to Ashton again in order to get more. We didn’t get into his wisdom at all and I’m sure he has a lot of it.
Thanks for letting Ashton be available for us. I think he enjoyed his time as FAT on the live call, but maybe felt a little overwhelmed by all the people trying to talk to him at once. Did he have to take a nap after the call?

Platinum MemberHey, Elizabeth!
Thanks for talking with him; it definitely sounds like you had a connection.
You nailed his hesitancy – he likes to observe new people and usually looks to me or our other dogs to determine if they’re safe for him to approach. He’s a little tentative, but he’s getting much braver. He loves to have his ears rubbed (and right behind his ears), and he likes to have his back stroked. He’s generally okay with being pet anywhere as long as they’re long, slow strokes.
I haven’t been able to see colors either, but I think of BLUE when I see him. I think it’s because he’s found his voice after his rough past, and hearing him bark or howl for the first time was such a big moment for me. He finally felt safe enough to “speak.” Before that, he was withdrawn and silent, trying to make himself small enough to disappear into the background when we were around.
He was sleeping during the call, and when the FAT portion was happening, he was dreaming/twitching. I think it was a bit overwhelming for him to be approached by so many people, but I agree that he’s enjoyed it. It’s been a good opportunity for him to stretch his comfort zone, and he has so much to say!
If you do decide to talk with him again, please share what you get! I love learning what you all are getting from him, as I have a harder time connecting with my own animals.
Thanks, Elizabeth!

Platinum MemberHello Erika,
Here is what I got from Ashton.
A playful and gentle dog. Friendly but not pushy – not shy either. Prefers to approach with time. Unsure of unknown humans and wants to look and check them out first. He does find them busy and confusing. Can be quite a contemplative dog. He is highly intelligent and sensitive.
If he wants something he will brush against a leg and lean in a little with a tail way or else stare at you. He can also bring you things in his mouth that he wants to bring to your attention.
He likes to play with a ball – getting more confident at it. He likes digging. He likes to roll on his back on grass.A feathered tail wagging when he’s pleased.
i got that he is medium height with a springy step. I wonder if he has weakness in his legs.He likes to go for walks with mum and another lady. He looks after them, the house and the grounds. He is a protector – not just protecting from people but also energy.
He has a deep loud bark but doesn’t bark much. He does bark when he hears someone at the door.
He likes to have behind his head rubbed by his humans if he comes up to them and is pleased.
I asked him what he wanted to say and got this:
Be confident. There is nothing to be ashamed of. One’s past is one’s path and we pick up what we pick up on the road. This is who we are. There is no perfect way to be. We are still on the road.
Please hold this lightly – very grateful for any feedback, and thank you both for the opportunity to practice.
Rosemary 🙂-

Platinum MemberHi, Rosemary!
I’m so sorry I didn’t see this sooner- I didn’t get the notification of your response. My apologies.Your initial perception of Ashton is spot on! He’s very hesitant around new people, preferring to feel them out before going up to them or allowing them to pet him. He always seems to be observing and analyzing, and it wouldn’t surprise me that he finds us busy and confusing. He’s very smart and sensitive. Nice job!
He does stare intently when he wants something. He’ll look at me, then at the object, then at me, and back at the object. When he is excited, he’ll “boop” us with his nose to tell us it’s time to get moving to get him what he wants (usually dinner or a car ride). He doesn’t really carry anything in his mouth or lean on us (he’s pretty selective about how he touches or is touched), so most of his communication is through his eyes or energy.
He doesn’t play with toys or balls, and he’s not much of a digger. He likes to watch the others play with toys, but he hasn’t really gotten into it himself. I think it’s because he spent 3 years with no toys and never really learned how to play.
You nailed his tail– it’s bushy and feathery now (huge surprise compared to how it looked when we got him!). He is medium height and while m
I’m not sure if it’s weakness in his legs, he does have VERY sensitive paws and skin around his feet which make them sore and bothersome. We are constantly putting creams on his feet/heels amd using special wipes between his pads.He LOVES going for walks. The other lady is my wife, so great job picking that up. He gets so pumped to go for walks, and his bark is loud and deep. He barks when he’s very excited or when he thinks he’s being protective.
His advice would make sense considering how rough his past was. He is who he is, and he doesn’t make any apologies for it. He just ‘is,’ and his confidence in that is inspirational.
Give yourself more credit– you did a wonderful job talking with him. 🙂💜 -

Platinum MemberHi Erika, thanks for allowing us to speak with Ashton. I had connected with him months ago, but I am not looking at it or any of the earlier posts to remain objective and see how it compares to my earlier communication! He says he remembers me vaguely and lifts a paw in greeting!
His aura is mainly yellow, with some flashes of orange. I don’t actually see colors, but just get impressions. He likes to be touched gently on the back, almost like a massage. His bark is loud and steady, and fur is soft and warm. He shows me a long doorway, and playing with a big ball.
Ashton is very loving, but took a while to relax and adjust. He is a bit hesitant, not very demonstrative, rather calm and measured, and has medium energy. Is there some issue with his neck?
He shows images, so is probably more clairvoyant, but also claircognizant.Ashton is an old soul, who has had a contract with you. He likes being near you, and has taken on the role of protector, knowing when you’re stressed. His purpose is to give stability to the household.
I hope some of this resonates with you, and then I’ll look at the ATH post!!
Much love and blessings to both of you, and Kaden too.-

Platinum MemberHello Nita,
Thanks for talking with Ashton again! I love that he remembers you. You’re right – he does like to be touched gently along his back, and his fur is very soft and warm (where he has fur). His bark is quite loud, and since he only uses it for certain situations, it’s very intense when he barks. It’s interesting that he’s showing several of you a ball since he doesn’t play with any toys. His sisters do, and I will often throw a ball or other toys down our front hallway for them to retrieve and bring back to me. Ashton doesn’t participate but watches from the side. I try to get him involved, but he shows very little interest.
You’re very correct that he’s loving but took a while to relax. He’s still a bit skittish at times, especially with my wife. He’s much more relaxed around me, but he can still be jumpy if he’s not expecting to be touched. We’ve had him for 2 years now, and I think it took him more than 1 year to fully realize that he was staying with us forever. There was a part of him that worried that all of this would go away, so he hesitated to fully immerse himself until he knew that he was more secure. I hope he finally understands that he’s a permanent part of the family.
You’re also correct that he’s calm, measured, and not demonstrative. He’s not a very affectionate dog (he doesn’t quite know “How” to express love — when he’s overly excited, he bites [not hard, but it’s like he doesn’t know what to do with his mouth]), but he’s getting better about being more interactive and expressive. I’m not sure if there are any issues with his neck beyond the itchy skin. He still has yeast problems, so we have to give him medicated baths and use creams to help keep his skin calm. It’s the main area where he’s missing hair. It’s interesting to hear he’s more clairvoyant. I’m claircognizant primarily, so that’s generally what I pick up.
He is a very old soul, and I’m interested to learn more about what his contract is with me. He’s very attached to and protective of me, and he does help level out the energy of his 2 sisters (Keely and Kam).
You’ve done a wonderful job, Nita! Thanks for chatting with him and sharing your thoughts. Also, thank you for the love, support, and resources you’ve sent for Kaden. I have truly appreciated your kindness. Much love, my friend!

Gold MemberThank you Erica for allowing me to talk to Ashton
I do not read member’s communications prior to my own. My communications often consist of symbolic meanings, so hope something resonates but does not upset you in any way.
Ashton, looking left and right as he casually walks in a steady line from my right to left side. Appears he is on a mission and has a job to do. Am reluctant to interrupt him but he stops and sits upright’ He’s calm, interested, majestic, an understated dog, more of an observer than a go-getter. Is an elegant walker, light on his paws. Sense he’s all knowing, not a show off, quiet, neat and confident. Likes being approached and head rubs, being told he is a good boy. A lovely gentle character
Aston comes forward, licks my hands and face which I thank him for
Ask if there is anything he’d like to show or tell me today. Ashton fidgets before sitting upright. Tells me there is nothing to say today. I sense there is but he’s not willing to share at the moment. Tell him I understand and willing to wait if he wants me to
Ashton likes being the FAT as he gets to meet and talk to a lot of people to ‘it’s interesting’ he states. You are all so different. I agree with him and explain that it’s the same as being a dog. You are all different, be it breeds, colour, markings, size and character. Some dogs are quiet, some loud. You are different from other dogs within your own breed. That what makes us (humans) and you, in fact all animals, beings, are special. We all have our own life experiences. We. are here to learn, some are protectors, others are teachers.
Ashton ponders for a moment then agrees we are all different, saying. Everyone has something to pass on, good or bad. I ask him what it is, he has to pass on
To make my humans understand. She has love but doesn’t often use it wisely. She has loved but was afraid. Told Ashton his mum loves you dearly. Yes, but not committed to be herself, to love herself, be happy. She needed reassurance but her eyes and ears were closed. Shown heavy metal round chain ‘slave’ type shackles that restrict hand and feet movement. She had freedom but not in her eyes. She still has freedom if she opens her heart, her eyes and ears. A Beautiful Life awaits.
Shown a clear round ball shape bubble encasing images of bright golden sparkling houses and streets, children playing, cats and dogs running and laughing. Feel an abundance of love and happiness overflowing. The bubble slowly drifts off into the darkness to become a spot of light. Sense and feel this orb can be brought back if chosen to be so by the Human, the person, it’s meant for. Silence rains. I wait quietly absorbing the energy and senses what is coming next
I call for Ashton who ambles from my right. His tail hangs down. I feel and sense a change in him, not sad but like contemplation. He sits quietly in front of me, feeling his heart is heavy and a tinge of sadness. Tears form in my eyes. Everything has stopped. We are waiting, perhaps for something to happen. Ashton doesn’t understand what it is.
Asked Ashton, what I have been shown, can it be changed. He replied. Of course. Like many things, can be changed if the desire is there. If there is no desire it will not change. It’s that easy. You humans always believe everything is difficult. It is not. It is you that makes it difficult. It’s you that restricts who you are, what you are supposed to be. We, the animals, can help and show you the way but you have to learn to be strong to achieve whatever it is that you are meant to do or be on the physical planet you call Earth. It’s called Mother Earth for a reason. Shown images of the world from a distance. To nurture, to teach, to feed and take care of you.. If you allow us to do this for you
Ashton has nothing more to say at this time
Ashton. Can you tell or show me something that your guardian, Erica, knows I have communicated with you.
Shown a red and white check material similar to a tea towel that dries the dishes. A shining metal round feeding bowl on a dark gray mat. Round red rubber type of ball. TV showing a baseball game being played at a large open air arena. Hear the name, Dodgers. Shown colours red and white. Crowds cheer, music blares within the stadium as a home run seems possible for a player running from post to post. Ashton, sitting sphinx, watching the game. Nearby is a dark wood surround fireplace
Have you a message from Mum Erika
Be yourself. Don’t be afraid. It’s within your grasp. Take it with both hands and enjoy life and be happy. Love Ashton
Gave Ashton my gratitude and thanks for talking to me. Ashton turns his head, looks into my eyes and says emphatically, he wants to be wrapped in white for it will become pink, green and all the colors of the rainbow and beyond.
Symbology: It would be interesting to delve more in the symbolic meaning of the various aspects of this communication inc the ‘Dodgers’ I live in the UK, therefore it’s rare for baseball games to be shown on our TV networks
The symbolic meaning of this communication, which I am learning, seems to consist of an underlying feeling of love and support, learning, happiness, and confidence. What you desire is in reach if you allow yourself to reach out and take it.
Love is a powerful concept that is viewed as a fundamental element of human existence, a unifying force, an essential attribute of everyday life, and our psychological drive. Love can be defined as the “desire to enter, maintain, or expand a close, connected, and ongoing relationship with another person. It can also be understood to be a set of emotions and behaviors that are characterized by engendering passion and commitment. It also results in expressions of care, closeness, and attraction. As well as many negative emotions such as jealousy, envy, and cause violence
Thankyou for allowing me to communicate with lovely Ashton and also thanks to Ashton.

Platinum MemberHi Sandy, I just had to say that your post about your conversation with Ashton was amazing. The messages received in your post are so profound and thought provoking. Wow. I learn a lot from reading your posts because it helps remind me how symbolism works and how to better interpret what we receive. Your writings help me to expand my understanding and interpretation when communicating with animals. Just wanted to share that with you because I do learn from your posts. Sending lots of hugs and love your way! 🤗🩷

Gold MemberHi
Am so sorry Shelly, and apologies that I haven’t replied sooner. Had not received notification of your feedback. I just happened to notice it when scrolling thru the forum. At the time and still, life was hectic in many ways. Appreciate that it is not helpful, especially as you took time and effort to write to me.
Glad you found my communications of use. I find that encouraging. Am often embarrassed by them for they sometimes seem ‘off the wall’ so to speak. Have not long started to look at the wider picture of animal communication, especially as I receive, what seems unrelated images within my communications but it’s what the animals want to share. I want to make sense of it.
I have found that symbology, images, videos often don’t make sense and are totally unrelated to the guardians requirements, however, digging down, they do give a deeper meaning that is relevant to the guardian. It takes time to find some answers relevant to the guardian and doesn’t always ‘land’ straight away.
As the saying goes’ Always trust the animals what they share with you’.
Have you started to look at symbolic meanings in your communications. There can be many meanings within a small fleeting images as well as a large scale ‘movie’
Once again. Many thanks for your lovely comments. You don’t realize how appreciative I am
Lots of big hugs are contained in the reply xxxxx
Take care
Sandy

Platinum MemberHi Sandy,
No worries on the delay. 🙂 I hope the hectic-ness calms down for you and you can have some time to relax. As I learn and grow in my animal communication skills, I notice how we all see/hear/feel things differently, oftentimes, from one another. I learned that even though I may not be able to express clearly what I get from animals, I know what I got from them was real. I just have to learn how to put it in words. When I read other’s posts, like yours, I sometimes catch myself saying “why can’t I receive or interpret the messages as well as they do”. I have to give myself a talking to and remind myself that we all have our own gifts and our own way of receiving messages, some have the gift of being able to clearly explain what the animal is saying and be so correct while others have the gift of receiving messages through feelings/symbols/numbers but sometimes those messages aren’t so easy to describe. But it’s like you said, we have to trust what the animal gives us.I am just now starting to look for symbols in the communications but haven’t yet been able to point them out. For the most part for me, I get flooded with feelings and “the knowing” in communications. I am still trying to get the audio and visual clairs to kick in. 😄 But your posts do inspire me to dig deeper into the feelings and knowing I get from animals, as I love how yours tell a story of what they show you. You have a very special gift in how you receive messages, and I applaud your courage in sharing those with us. I know it must be so difficult to make sense of those messages, but I know the animals are showing you what they need you to see, in a way that you are most able to receive it. Your gift is like poetry. Some of us are less able to interpret poetry and sadly may avoid it because we don’t understand it, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a meaning and message behind it because there is! 🙂 Thankfully, even though you may struggle interpreting those messages, you don’t give up! 🤗 With time, I am sure the symbolism in the messages start to fall into place and make sense.
Keep up the fantastic work you are doing! It is very inspiring. Here come some more hugs and love being sent your way! 🤗❤️

Gold MemberHi
Hope you are keeping ok
Sorry for late reply. Things haven’t calmed down. Taking care of a neighbours injured cat – Tuxedo Princess, for the last 2.5 weeks. Guardian does not want to do anything with the cat. Tuxedo is doing well, almost back to normal. She did spend a lot of time with me but more so now, even staying overnight more.
Plus internet down for a week and cannot be repaired till next few days Same with landline, so am at local library to catch up with emails etc. Plus other stuff, external drive, after years decided to be corrupted and so on..
Anyway. Will write fully in due course.
Symbology, the meaning of something, can show up in a communication in different ways. a scene or a stand alone item that may not make sense. e.g water running under a bridge, the shape of a headstone. seeing a star during a communication
Also the ‘symbol’ can have many meanings but what is relevant to that person – e.g guardian and they can decide what resonates with them. you give the info
I find it interesting
Hugs and wishes.
Catch-up soon
Sandy

Platinum MemberHi Sandy,
Thank you for talking with Ashton. I found your conversation with him to be quite interesting! You describe him perfectly – sits when he wants attention, quiet, calm, observer, interested, and gentle.I am happy to hear he’s enjoyed being the FAT this month, as I was a bit worried he may find it overwhelming due to his more quiet and laid-back nature. He is very smart, and I’m loving what you all are discussing.
I’m fascinated by what he shared with you about me. I quit my job in corporate a couple of months back, and I’m investing more time in developing my animal communication skills and energy healing while volunteering at the animal shelter. I felt like I was supposed to be doing something different with my life, but naturally, this has been a complete upheaval of everything I knew before. I was my job, and without my job and the “friends” that came with it, I am feeling quite upside-down. I wonder if that’s what he’s referencing. I haven’t fully embraced this “new” me, because it’s so far from who I used to be, and I’m not quite sure where I’m supposed to be going/what I should be doing next. I hope he can help guide me there, because I feel passionately that I’m supposed to do something different, but I know it’s not “Accepted” by most people.
It’s also interesting that he showed you baseball. We don’t really watch sports, but my wife LOVES to watch the women’s college softball world series every year, and the team we follow is Oklahoma (who has red/white for their colors). He does eat out of a shiny food bowl for dinner, but we don’t have a fireplace in our home (although it sounds beautiful!).
I love that he wants to be wrapped in white light that will turn to pink/green, etc. The poor guy was so neglected for the first several years of his life, that he took a while to learn how to receive and give love; the fact that he’s so full of love now makes my heart happy.
Thank you for talking with him and sharing his message with me. I need to work on my confidence in my spiritual abilities and trust in the process. Again, I hope he’ll help me with this, and I thank you for taking the time to write out all that you received from your connection. It is quite interesting and beautiful, and I have some self-reflection to do. 🙂 Great job, Sandy!

Gold MemberHi
Am so sorry and apologies Erika for the extremely late reply to your lovely feedback.. Had not received notification of your feedback. At the time of the communication with Ashton and your feedback, life was hectic and still is. Appreciate that it is not helpful to you, especially as you took time and effort to write to me.
When I believe I have clear time to catch up with various things, something else happens for me to deal with. These last 2 weeks are an example.
Briefly, a cat. Tuxedo Princess visits and stays many hours with me over the years is injured. She is staying with me and am taking care of her. Guardian puts off visiting a vet. It’s a complicated situation and I am trying to resolve it.
Anyway.
Hope you have had time to re-read my communication with lovely, wise Ashton and gained more info from it
Reading back on my communication with lovey Ashton and your feedback, I can see the broader picture and how Ashton is encouraging you to set aside your doubts and follow your dreams. Which I hope you do whole heartedly as does Ashton who believes in you and knows you can achieve your dream – courage.
The upheaval is a sign of growth. We have all gone thru and still do to become the person we are meant to be. His messages and wise words clearly state this. Colours Ashton wanted to be wrapped were personal to you.
Ashton is there for you, lean on him, talk to him. He will guide you so be guided by him.
For more years than I’d like to say I used to live/worked in Norman and the city of Oklahoma. Plus I lived in Chicago (visited Wrigley Field often, and enjoyed baseball. Still have ‘cubs’ pennant). and Washington DC for quite a while when I was traveling across the USA for about 3 years I am English and live in London UK
Take care
Love, hugs and best wishes for everything
Sandy

Platinum MemberI thanked Ashton for participating in this practice. I asked him what it was like to have people check in with him. I got this was pretty different. It felt/heard as if a bell or tone would chime when someone connected with him. I asked if this was a good time and got that it was fine. He seems to be deep in thought. He gets concerned at times for the family yet doesn’t seem like he is trying to be as much on the lookout as some dogs might. I get that there is another dog who is more in charge of being the “town crier” Lol. I ask if there are any concerns for him and presently things seem to be smoother, back on track or back to a schedule. I asked if there is something he’d like to say or tell about -I see him looking up at the night sky. Interesting. Things are different from one place to another. but we all see the same thing at night. I tell him that is a beautiful thought. It feels like he sees or senses things that other animals may not notice. It’s energy. He has this radar that can sense textures (this might also be if there is a density in a geographic area or if there is a gap in energy.) He also senses energy that is emitted from people. His body/skin is so highly tuned to the inside/outside/ world. He could be Luke Skywalker -he knows if there is a disturbance in the Force! I feel that as a way of his being attuned to life force energy. Thanks Ashton for helping me with that perception! He shows me his life is good right now-that he doesn’t have to work as hard to live. His world has opened up and he is blessed to be able to have had the opportunity to see/feel/hear/ and know life in a whole new way. I thank him for connecting with me and get that we all can benefit from his perspectives about gratitude and the learning to be ok with our sensitivities. The good stuff is brought through that sensitivity. Sweet.

Platinum MemberHello, Mary Helen!
I am sorry for the delay; we had to euthanize one of our dogs yesterday, and the past couple of days have been difficult. Thank you for talking with Ashton. You’re right that he’s often deep in thought. He’s a very observant dog who likes to watch most of the action from the sidelines (unless it involves food, then he’s right in the middle!). We do have another dog who could be seen as the town crier (haha). That’s Kam, and she likes to instigate a bark to get the others riled up.
As far as things being smoother/back on schedule, I would imagine this may have been because our nieces came to stay with us at the end of July for about 10 days, and that was a different level of activity than our animals are used to. They received lots of attention, and after the girls left, everyone slept hard for a couple of days.
His thoughts on the night sky are very beautiful. Your perception of his ability to see energy is very interesting, and while I can’t confirm it, I would not be surprised by it. Ashton has a very old soul and is quite wise, so I can imagine that he’d be able to see energies and read situations/people much better than others.
As for his life being good now, I’m so happy to read that. He was pulled from a hoarding case where he was not given adequate food, water, or general care, so he was in pretty bad condition before we took him in. He gets regular meals, constant access to water, and weekly skin baths (along with car rides, snacks, treats, plenty of walks and outdoor time, and cushy beds/couches), so I’m happy to hear he’s enjoying his current lifestyle and feels like he can relax more. He was very uptight when we first brought him home, so knowing he’s settled in and just “being” is wonderful. I also love the “learning to be okay with our sensitivities” and the callout of having gratitude. Accepting who and where we are and allowing ourselves to appreciate all of it enables us to be open to receiving even more good things. He’s a deep one!
Thank you again for talking with him. You did a lovely job!
