We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Barb..When I checked in with Tiki, all of a sudden I felt drawn to his gaze. He told me that he was (and still is) a wise teacher. I felt a sense of masculine energy. I asked him about his life in his physical body but he only replied: “Oh, that body. I was just an observer and I used “THAT LOOK” to get my lessons across when necessary”. I asked about his spirit and he said that he still sleeps a lot but has the ability to observe and that you can feel his energy. Then he added that he comes and checks on you when you are asleep. I thanked him for talking and sharing this time with me. If I need advice, I feel like I should come back and talk your precious Tiki.

Hi Barb,
I’m connecting with Tiki as I write this. When I first saw his picture, I got a sense that he was very brave and courageous. He was sick for a while which resulted in him passing on. During that time he was a real trooper through treatments and veterinary visits for his illness, getting medicine for his illness, and when he didn’t feel so good-tired, nauseous, hurting. He said he was a real friendly boy when he felt comfortable with someone and was at times uncomfortable with strangers in the beginning. He said that his reaction to new humans was based a lot of your energy. He said he was a real lover-affectionate.I got that he was between 12-16 years old. I think 16 years is on the high end, and I’m feeling like he wasn’t that old.
He said he guided you in life and gave you his opinions on lots of matters you wanted his advice on. He also said he liked blankets, warmth, and a fire going in the fire place.
I also saw a while light above him (not the light in the picture either) and the light continued down his body and then he became a vision of a white feline being-maybe a white tiger?
He said he was and still is an angel and spends a lot of time with you, Barb.
He also gave me a message for myself.
He is going to do something on the Other Side now. We said our goodbyes.
He is truly a remarkable soul.

I was scanning through the ATH as it instruct us to do and Tiki stopped me to say hi.
First, thank you for offering Tiki for us to talk to!Her energy feels a bit rough, sort of gives me a sense of sand or those straw shade that you put up during the summer that’s not very warm feeling like a curtain. I’m sensing that when she was alive (was it she? The energy felt like female but physically could be he), she wasn’t much of a cuddling type. Though she communicated to me that she regrets it a bit and wants to come back as a bit more cuddly type. However she needed to be like that when she was alive. Something about not like to being touched and that type of energy suited her, then. I sensed that she’s thinking about coming back again but this time, it’d be different. You might notice it is her at first but you’ll know.
Not sure if this rings a bell to you. Did I capture her energy?

Thanks Chigusa for connecting with Tiki.
He may have feminine energy because he was a companion and friend. We all just lived together and nobody in our family was very snuggly. He was also the watch cat at our house so that might be the rough energy.
Toward the end he was very snuggly as he was ill and needed us deeply.-

Perhaps the fact he experienced what snuggly feels like towards the end made him to want to be like that next time… Also about the shade analogy I used could have to do with the protector energy. Who knows. I find it fascinating that different animals communicate differently and some animals give me visions of what they actually do or feel, but in case of Tiki, he gave me type of energy he was, so it required a bit more imagination on my end. 🙂 It was great to get feedback from you so I can learn to interpret these energy for the next time. wise soul and guide. He feels everywhere at once. He says he is connecting on all levels all the time and that he is a cave of wisdom written on the walls and that he seeks the prisms of his mind for clarity. He feels like a peaceful yoda type, but still carrying a more robust and “athletic” side. I asked for guidance on personal matters and he helped me with his clarity. He says his mission is helping people bring art into the world and to come into alignment with themselves. He says he loved paintings and bright objects like jewelry. He says that he sees space exploration as the cutting edge for the human race, for expanding and exploring the creative potential of mankind.

I have used him to help me connect with other animals before but in a small way. Your message gives me the idea that he can REALLY help me with my next clients who are ALL in spirit. Hi Barbara I found an older communication with Tiki; short but i figured I’d share. I saw him surrounded in a gold white energy that seemed to expand. He said to me “you have just the one suit, so wear it well.” He was very active in life but calm and no anxious behavior. He said he was fulfilled and satisfied in life and didn’t have to worry about anything. He says that everybody got along. I got that he was in body with Lucien around, but not Priscilla? Though writing it it feels off. Thanks for any feedback!

He did not physically meet Luchien or Priscilla.
But….
Luchien spends more time at my home than Priscilla. That must be what he meant! Luchien is my daughter’s dog who I see every week. Priscilla is my son’s dog who I see once a month or less.He was very calm and satisfied I think in life. The other cat who lived with us got along well with Tiki. Others have said he is wise so I better tap into his energy!
PS: I do not get any messages to let me know people have connected with my animals so sorry for delays in answering.

Hi Barb,
I was scrolling through the ATH pictures and Tiki said, “Me, me, me”. I’m connecting with him as I write this. He said to learn from you in animal communication and in building a clientele/business building. I told him you shared about blogging. He said you have much to teach me. He’s also saying for me to get more in touch with myself and to relax and everything will be okay and I’m on the right path. He’s referring to some personal things in my life. I asked him how he knows-I was referring to my personal things. He said he’s all seeing, wise, and knows.He said even when he was a cat in his physical body he was aware of just about everything in the house-even when he was sleeping or appeared to be sleeping. He said, too, he would appear from out of nowhere and from anywhere when it was time to eat and sometimes you didn’t know where he was until he appeared. He said he did that a lot even if it wasn’t for food.
He also showed me a visual of him putting his paw in a glass with a beverage and ice cubes and said he liked to play with the ice cubes. He said he even got one out one time and played with it while batting it around the floor.
He said he loved to play when he was younger and more so than a lot of other cats when they’re older.
He said he loved the smell of flowers, meat, and when you cooked/baked.
He said he loved the bed and that that was one of his favorite places.
He also sent me an image of a man sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. This might be my ego brain, but it came to me that the man smoked a pipe and wore a cap.
I got off focus and he said, “meditate” and asked me if I’d like to meditate. I told him, “yes.”
I tried to meditate with him. There is a loud sound nearby that is distracting and I don’t know how well I meditated. I did take a natural relaxing deeper breath. That was good. He invited me to become one with him, which I tried to do, but don’t know how well I did. We wished each other a good weekend and said we’d like to talk again and meditate again. When I last looked at his picture I felt the connection shift a little and get stronger. I told Tiki I love him and gave him a kiss. He said he loves me, too. I thanked him for talking with me, meditating with me, and helping me. He said, “You’re welcome.” Then he said, “Now have a good day!” I said, “You, too…sweet boy”.

He did not sleep very much when he was in the physical. He was a watch cat! I can see him messing with a piece of ice!!! He also used to wake us up to meditate every morning. Our clock radio turned on by pushing a button on top of it and he would stand on the radio until it turned on!!!!!
Thank You for reminding me that he is an all knowing soul. I forget to use him as a guide and he would be really helpful.
You don’t need any help from me as you are finding your way with this just beautifully! -
It seems like maybe I had a relative that smoked a pipe but can’t place it or why it would be important right now.
He liked being close to us so the bed would have been a favorite place but his last few months with us overshadows other memories so it’s difficult to remember where he liked to hang out. -

Thanks for the feedback! Thanks for the encouragement, too! That’s funny and cute that he would stand on the clock radio until it turned on! I love when cats, meditate, too 🙂 He sounds like he was one awesome kitty!As for not getting emails, I understand about that. I told Barb about that and have started getting more emails in relation to forum posts. I’m not sure whether or not I get notified on everything though that I used to get notified on. I used to get notified on when people would communicate with my cats and when people would respond to my FAT posts as well as my ATH posts.

Yes, I love how much the animals share with me. That’s a great idea to see why they’re showing me/telling me what they do and what the relevance is for the particular person. There might be something really special for the particular person involved or maybe something really important. Thanks for mentioning that!

Hi Barb,
I am a beginner and was looking for an animal teacher to practice with and Tiki caught my attention. I hope you will let me know if any of what I received resonates with you. Tiki showed me an image of him amongst the stars/planets/galaxy and his energy was very wise and all-knowing. He said that on Earth you protected each other. I got the feeling he protected you, but in the end when he wasn’t in good health, you protected him and he felt that you were “equal” in your giving/receiving roles. I asked if he would be coming back to you and I received the feeling that your “job” right now was to look after the other animals in your life (I saw you with 2-3 blurry figures around your legs (possibly feeding them?) maybe 1-2 dogs and 1 cat? One may have been white and one more multi-colored with brown/black/grey and one blackish?, it was obviously a little hard to make out because they were moving in the image). He assured me you would be reunited in Spirit when you cross over, and that your souls are very connected.<3

WOW! Great insights and details! Tiki was our “watch cat” when he was younger and yes, I needed to protect him at the end as his retinas detached and he became blind. He relied on me for everything at the end of his life.
And yes Tiki has helped me in my communication with other furry beings and has been one of my guides as I developed my animal communication business. He has helped me a lot until recently when he said I did not need him anymore and I feel where you described he is now resonates. So glad he is not returning to the physical world and one day we will meet again. That resonates as well. We were very close.
I dog sit for two black and brown Dobermans. Luchien’s picture is in my file. I live part time with a light colored teacup chihuahua who has very catlike energy so again you got it!

I haven’t been connecting on Val’s website in the last few months, so that’s why I haven’t replied, but you just connected with Priscilla and that is why I am on now. So glad to see you continue to practice. The more you practice, you will start to see patterns emerge and will get surprise confirmations and begin to understand how communication works best for you. Keep going! It’s wonderful!
