We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Julie.. I connected with Mignon today.. She is so pretty!.. She showed that she liked being petted above the beak on her head and loved being in your arms, hugged! She showed me a dark haired lady and she liked 2 young people, kids?
She showed me when I asked if she had a friend.. not sure if it was a white chicken or white cat?..
She looked like she was dancing!.. lol, like putting one foot down at a time and back and forth with her feet!.
Did something happen with her throat / upper chest area while on earth?..
I asked if she hangs around still, she showed me Shoes!!.. no idea.. did you buy new shoes recently?..She sure was a very happy Girl!.. Thank you for sharing her Julie! 🙂

I am so very sorry for not replying sooner but I had no idea that you had connected with Mignon. There was an issue that meant that I didn’t get notified – maybe Mercury in retrograde was at work! But I am here now to reply!
Yes, Mignon loved to be cuddled by me and have her head stroked above her beak.
I don’t know who the dark haired lady could be. Mignon liked my elderly neighbour who had grey hair and she looked after my chickens when I went away. Could this be the lady? I don’t have any children, so I am unsure who the two young people might be.
Mignon lived with her beloved rooster, Tiger but he wasn’t white. I didn’t have white chickens or any cats. Mignon was given to me as a gift from a French neighbour. He kept chickens to eat and had a soft spot for Mignon and that’s how she ended up with me. There were white chickens at her previous home.
Mignon was a little bantam and used to scurry around – yes, it could look as though she was dancing!
Her little egg song got quieter in later life – I have no idea what happened to her vocal chords – that’s amazing that you picked that up.
Ah shoes…. I used to eat my lunch in the courtyard with her and she would sit on my shoes. When I had finished eating, she hopped off waiting to be picked up and cuddled. She’d snuggle down in my lap as though she was a cat! Also, she loved to sit on my trainers that I left to air outside after my run. No idea what it was all about!
She was indeed a very happy little hen…
We had a very special relationship and had an amazing journey together. I have kept chickens for 20 years and have never experienced another hen or rooster like Mignon. She really was unique.

Hi Julie.. no worries!.. yes, most of us are feeling Mercury being in retrograde!
The lady had brown hair,.. could be your neighbor.. not sure.. colors sometimes can change a little even with shadows.
The white chicken/cat could be he had a friend or felt them as they were for meat?..
The 2 young people(maybe not kids, teenagers maybe) could have been visiting from other place.. they didn’t live there.. Maybe showing me her past home?
She showed me her throat and her top part of her chest, but didn’t know the issue..
Cool about the Shoes!!.. That is when I asked her if she is hanging around!.. So that would be a Validation that she is with you!!.. Maybe talk to her and see if you feel her on your shoes! 🙂
Laying on your trainers maybe your scent, she feels your love and feels safe 🙂
