JoJo has volunteered to host her cat Cinders as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). Cinders is in spirit making this a great opportunity to practice our regular Animal Communication techniques in this expanded realm. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold members will have an opportunity to connect with Cinders along with Val on the next Q&A call Saturday, July 14. We encourage all of you to connect with Cinders now and through the month.
Tune into Cinders first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Cinders feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Cinders ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.

Cinders feels magical. She loved and was loved deeply in life and still is now. She wants Jojo to know that love is the only thing that is real. It is never lost. Reality changes. Memories can fade but love never goes away. The more she opens her heart the more love gets in and there will always be room for more. Jojo must never be afraid to love.

I connected right away with Cinders. I felt that there was a male energy but when I asked Cinders about that he/she just gave a smile as though it was a game and I would be kept guessing. Cinders told me about how much he/she enjoyed being playful, humorous, pouncing on things and being the center of attention. When I asked if he/she had any messages for JoJo or anyone else, the reply I got was: ” Look before you Leap”.

That’s funny that you felt male energy and that smile was definitely her playfulness, you’re right! She is all girl, sweet, gentle, girl – who indeed loves to pounce. Although, if she has come back in a new body, perhaps she is now a male? She did love spending lots of time with me, we bonded particularly strongly from the point she got ill on, and actually started asserting herself to get/keep my attention (I.e – not letting my other kitty, Seamus, usurp her from my lap as he would normally do – despite my attempts to get her to stay on my lap, if he came up, she’d immediately jump down.) You really have me thinking with that message!! I’ve been contemplating major job changes, and I’m wondering if that is what she is referring to! I don’t know if she is willing/able to elaborate on that, but if you are interested in connecting with he again, perhaps you could ask? I’ll think on that though, that’s very interesting! Thanks for your insights!

I communicated with Cinders this morning. Cinders told me she likes to play, climb, eat, sleep, and get attention from her human. I told her that her eyes look like they have a lot to say. Then, it came to me that they have a lot of wisdom. So, Cinders is a very wise cat. She said she can be a bit shy at times, but also very talkative at times, too. She said she eats mainly canned cat food. Also, Cinders likes to go outside and stalk through tall grass. She’s very sweet and very gentle. I also got that she has a favorite toy and that it’s yellow. I also got that her dishes that she eats canned cat food from are plastic (either red or kind of a creamy color). I also got that Cinders likes the color pink and her favorite color is a light blue.-
Oh my gosh! I just realized Cinders is in spirit! Did she pass on recently? I connected with one of your other kitties not long ago (Seamus I think his name was). I saw Cinders’ picture when I connected with your other kitty and wasn’t aware Cinders was in Spirit. Perhaps that is what the green bubble said. Anyway, I apologize for not realizing she was in Spirit until now.

Hi Martha – Thank you! She does enjoy all those things, and, after she took ill, even more attention which I cherished so much! She indeed could be very shy – some people in the neighborhood didn’t even realize I had 2 cats, as her brother is definitely the more outgoing! She had access to dry food throughout the day, but had wet food (canned) for dinner.) Her food dishes were different than you described (I don’t know if you want to try again – I can reveal that, I wasn’t sure if it might be a good exercise to try that one again? Favorite colors – Hmm, that’s funny I’ve been trying to think how I could tell – her toys were a variety of colors, but I will say that I like pink & MY favorite color is blue – so interesting, right? Favorite toy – the one I would say is her favorite, from my observation, is pink – however – she very much enjoyed playing with the plastic rings from drink beverages – several of which were yellow, so maybe that is the toy??
No worries at all – that’s cool that you saw her when you connected to Seamus, I wonder what he had to say?! He’s a hoot! Cinders passed just before Thanksgiving 2017, so almost 8 months – although it feels like yesterday at times. The green bubble says, “Hi, I’m Cinders”, unfortunately, it didn’t transfer clearly when it got posted. Thanks so much for talking to Cinders & providing your insights!

Thank you for this opportunity, JoJo, to connect with a cat in spirit. However, this attempt does seem like the triumph of imagination over intuition.
After I introduced myself, Cinders replied, “Let’s do business.” (Did this response come because I had just been reading about business in 1st century Palestine?) Replies that quickly followed: “I’m sad without Mom.” “I’m healthy now.”
In answer to when and how she (incorrect assumption about sex based on nickname for Cinderella? the female cat with the same name of a housemate in the 1990’s?) passed, I got about two years ago and “belly” and “tired.” But about ten or fifteen minutes after yesterday afternoon’s (Thursday 6/5) session, I got “I drowned.” No response to whether her guardian was with her when she passed.
Vague on new guardians, new friends, old friends, games there; misses other pets in her household on Earth. She likes to be outside in a garden because it’s safe there. Likes being a cat; wouldn’t like being a bird.
Purpose? “I’m helping you and coaching club.” Then: helping with kittens who are arriving. “So many” because people don’t take care of them.
She ended with “I have to go now,” so I thanked her and said good-bye.

Hi Carol – I think you did well! I’m sure I did actually have Cinderella in my mind – more in the modern adaptation “Ever After”, when a stepsister called her “Cindersoot” – Her grey color with some white mottled in, settled her name for me, and Cinders is indeed a girl : ) It feels good (yet sad, of course) that she misses me as I’m sure she can feel how much I miss her every day. But, I know she is sooo happy to be well now. She actually passed ~ 8 months ago, but, she was sick for over a year,and she could be referring to how long ago she got sick? It was indeed some mass in her belly – and I’m sure she was tired of fighting the illness so long. My vet actually came to the house to check on her for me as she took a turn for the worse, and we determined it was time to put her to sleep – I don’t know if that could feel like “drowning” to her, but she was in my arms when she passed. You’re right again about the garden – she enjoyed sunning in the small garden next to my porch and perching on the front garden wall as well. I do believe if she comes back – it would again be as a kitty, and very much get the sense she I a “teacher” & “helper”. Thank you for your comments & insights!

Thank you for offering to let us communicate with Cinders. Really appreciate the opportunity!When I first connected, I saw a beach and I felt like I was flying over it. It felt like he was in a spiritual form, so I asked if he could come back into the body of Cinders so I can feel what he was like when he lived and he did that for me. I think Cinders was a male? I felt very calm and almost like a boss like confidence. Felt he was a friends with bird and there was a female cat energy present. I asked him if there is something he wants me to tell Jojo, then he showed me this beautiful white bird, mystical looking almost like a fairly or a phoenix like wing that has energy around them as it flies. It was beautiful. And he flew away. I thanked him and told him that I look forward to connecting again in class.

Hi Chigusa! I wonder if she was “taking a spin” around the world for a little vacation : ) She was never personally at the beach while with me, although I often talked to her about how she would probably love the beach & looking at the ocean : ) Cinders is a “she” – or was when she was with me – and, yes, usually very calm (unless frightened, a bit shy!) I’m not sure how to interpret the bird / female cat energy (other than herself.) She has a brother (Seamus) who is still with me, and they were from the same litter. That message is so beautiful – thank you so much for asking her & sharing that. You are all sharing such lovely things and I’m in need of more tissues!

I connected with Cinders who told me he (or she) was still curious about everyone and everything going on here in the physical world. I asked what I could ask for him or find out and let him know. He wisely replied to me that he already knows things just like when he was here and that curiosity never leaves.

Hi Jo – Cinders is a “she”, my sweet “baby girl.” That’s nice to hear – as I (selfishly) would like her to hang around as much as possible ; ) Wow, she is so wise, and true, I often forget that those in spirit already “know”, but I talk to her all the time and tell her things that I’m sure she already knows/senses – but makes me feel better in my “human condition.”

Cinders: I’m happy to help you learn.
Barb: thank you! I fall asleep sometimes when connecting to an animal.
Cinders: it’s best to ground yourself and sit upright.
Barb: Ok. I just did. Are you female or male?
Cinders: I am soul and not in a body now so neither. When I was in the body, the body was male.
Barb: have you been out of that body very long?
Cinders: no. Only a few months.
Barb: how old were you when you left the body?
Cinders: Jo jo thinks I was too young. It was my time to go. I am more helpful now that I am in spirit.
Barb: Did I hear you say 8 years? Did you leave in a quick way?
Cinders: I was 12 years. There was something the matter with my body. Try to feel where it was…
Barb: ok. I just tried to sense where you had a problem but I have a headache right now and not feeling receptive. I will try again tomorrow if that is ok?
Cinders: try tonight. You will be more accurate and you will get it.

Hi Barb – Thank you – That’s interesting that so many have picked up a male body – I wonder if she could now be in a male body?? And, yes, she passed almost 8 months ago and she was just about 12 when she passed, so you seem to pick up on both of those #s! Correct that she did have something wrong with her body – I don’t know if you want to try again on what the issue was (spoiler alert: don’t look at the other responses if you do, b/c it is somewhat revealed in those messages.)

P.S. – She is right I did think it was too soon, but would probably always think that. I always tried to put my feelings aside, as difficult as that was, to ensure she didn’t remain beyond having a quality life. I know she knows how much I struggled that last day – even when she looked up at me, I’m sure to tell me it was ok to let her go.

It is great I got the sex wrong because I received it as an impression which isn’t usually accurate for me. This is a good reminder to ask questions instead! I asked about her age!
I did go back last night and connect with her and received something wrong(painful mass)on the left side stomach area….I’ll check the website now for answers.

That makes sense, and it appears a lot of folks felt she had a male energy. Mass in her stomach – You are correct – not sure about which side of her stomach it was exactly, but it’s great you were able to get such detail. Thank you – I miss her so, but am glad she is out of her sick body and is not suffering any longer. I think these conversations have been healing – I didn’t think of that potential side effect, and it’s been a wonderful experience!

After being acknowledged and greeted (Th 7/12, about five minutes around 6:00 pm), I asked Cinders what was the most amazing feature for her of her new place. I saw (because of Patty Miller’s video on Facebook?) an outdoor spiral slide, wider than the one in the video and with cantilevered landings at different height levels and facing different directions. Cinders likes to climb and sit with a feline companion on these looking out at the green and blooming countryside and breathing in the sweet-smelling air.
My first cat, Persephone, liked to walk up my hollow-core flush door slantboard–until she mastered the balance challenge and then it wasn’t fun anymore; she could walk up and down as easily as if it were a flat surface. It seems like I’m building components from everyday experience to create a dream (as in Freud’s The Interpretation of Dreams). I hope there is an amusement park for cats in the hereafter that contains a slide with vistas like this! I’d like to play there, too.

Hi Jo! Thank you for the feedback on my conversation with Cinders. She’s such a cute and sweet girl with an adorable voice and way or talking. I posted about my conversation with Seamus when I had it. I think maybe you didn’t get notified. I’ll try to find it and post it on your wall or in the FAT section for Cinders.
For my conversation this time with Cinders this is what transpired: She came to me and was very happy to see me and even rubbed my face 🙂 I told her who I was. I think she remembered me though. I asked what she’d like to talk about. She said she wanted to talk about the meaning of life. She said the meaning of life is to be good to others and for the soul to advance. She asked me about myself and I told her I have two cats in Physical form, and I told her I’ve had cats and a fish who have passed on and a cat who we gave to someone so she could be the only kitty since she’d be happier being an only kitty. I told her I live in LA, too. I asked her if she has any suggestions for building my clientele (for my animal communication business). She said to love the clients (animals) and to stretch my comfort level (by having physical contact with the animals). I already love the animals, but having physical contact with the ones who aren’t mine will definitely take some work as I have OCD and anxiety and would be so afraid of getting something from the animals who aren’t mind and it passing to my kitties. I asked Cinders about the food bowls. This time I got that they were ceramic bowls with some kind of design-paw prints maybe. I also asked about the yellow ice rings. I asked her if she told me her favorite color was/is yellow because of the ice rings. She said, “Yes,” and told me she loved the ice rings and loved to touch them and watch them move around and float. I asked Cinders if the yellow rings she told me about were the yellow toy she told me about. She said, “Yeesss,” in a cat voice I don’t quite know how to describe. when she said, “yes,” my eyes opened wider. I think perhaps hers did, too, when she said, “yes”. I asked Cinders if I could pet her, rub her, and give her a kiss. She said, “Of course,” and I petted her, rubbed her, and gave her a kiss on the lips. When I kissed her she smiled and giggled a little. Her giggle was very cute. I also held her like a baby. She didn’t like that and got out of that position and went to a hugging position where she kneaded my shoulder and then she got up on my shoulder and is sitting on my shoulder as I write this. She said for me to tell you that she likes me and feels comfortable with me but she wouldn’t sit on just anyone’s shoulder and let just anyone kiss her, pet her, or hug her. She said to tell Mommy and Seamus I love them. She also said just now that she’s going to go now but that she’ll be back soon and is interested in me building my clientele for when I do animal communication for work. She licked my ears and then floated to wherever she is going to go and I said “Bye, Cinders.” She said, “Bye, Martha. I’ll be back.”

Hi Martha – Aww, that’s my girl : ) Seamus – I don’t believe I did, that’d be great – I’m still learning the navigation here, so I’m sorry if I overlooked it! I don’t know if the picture of him I submitted shows it, but he and Hawkeye look very much alike – even the couch Hawkeye is sitting on looks like the same color as mine. I thought Hawkeye was Seamus for a minute when I first saw it…but I digress: It sounds like you had a wonderful chat with Cinders again and she gave some sage advice! That would be a stretch with someone with OCD, I imagine, I wish you well with that, one animal at a time. I can’t pretend to know how hard that must be for you, and how you best cope with that, but I find that practicing keeping “present” helps me push-out anxious thoughts/reactions; I’ve some good success with that (wish I had started that practice long ago – whoops…back to being “present” ; ) Food bowls – for her wet food (dinner) she would have a metal saucer, but they did have a ceramic bowl I used for her dry food – it did have muted colors, but not really a specific design (i.e. – paws or anything.) Yellow toy – I’m glad she was able to confirm that, she would spend a lot of time playing with those things : ) That’s so sweet – yes, she did not care for being picked-up, or held like a baby, but was more than willing to climb, of her own accord, onto my lap and knead away! That’s great that she felt so comfortable with you – and no, she would not just sit on anyone’s shoulder & share that affection, so that’s special : ) Aww, that is so sweet – I’m glad you had another good experience with her and I wish you well with your A.C. work as well – and know she’ll be good support!

Hi Jojo, I just wanted to share what I posted in the golden nuggets from our call on the 14th of July. Here is what I experienced with Cinders:
Cinders was surrounded by a beautiful white aura and when I did the pause and play from the photo she “bounced” out of the photo with energy and moved towards me. She was filled with a gentle and playful energy and said she was loving all the attention from everyone. It was as though she was was waiting to burst out of the photo to show how vibrant she will always be. I was able to fully connect with her in such a beautiful way.
I just connected again today with Cinders to see if I could ask a few question. I asked her about coming back into the physical world and Cinders said that she might be curious enough to be willing to come back as a boy. I asked if she could tell me more about her ” Look before you Leap” comment and if she had any message for you. This time she told me to tell you that life is an adventure, be curious, be brave, and take chances as long as you “Look before you Leap”. -

I just connected with Cinders and asked what do you want us to know. Cinders said, You are all students of the inner world. Explore this realm to receive the insights and clarity you are seeking. Honor yourself and the truths of who you are. Trust in your knowingness. Let things come naturally. When you try too hard it interrupts the flow of energy. I thanked Cinders for this great advice.

I connected with Cinders during the Q&A call. Cinders truly was there for us all and is an angel.
My intention for the call was for the students to learn what’s appropriate for themselves about the pet loss. I intended this because I had most amazing experience with my dog passing in March. Yes, it was painful but I learned so much and it completely changed how I view death not just for pets but for anything living.
When I connected with Cinders, she was a pink light as well as a green/yellow energy and it kept getting bigger and bigger. The energy surrounded us all. She was keeping a space for us all to learn.
When I connect with animals during calls, I sometimes get busy signals because they are communicating with others. Cinders was connected with all of us and she was one with us and her energy was everywhere. There was no limit to how many souls she could communicate at one time.
I asked my dog to be included in this beautiful space and funny thing happened. She was panting quite a bit until the moment I asked Cinders to include her and she suddenly stopped panting and laid down. That was amazing…
As I write this, I felt the same energy I felt during the class and it is making my heart warm and happy. Thank you, Cinders, for being such a great teacher for us all!

Hi Chigusa – I’m sorry for your loss. I too have had a shift in how I understand and experience loss, as well as so many other things, as I’ve learned more about energy, how the universe works, etc. It really had helped me cope better with death and other situations. I’m continually amazed at the insights everyone is receiving from Cinders, and the knowing you got about there being no limits to the souls she can connect with simultaneously and your dog’s response – that’s just awesome!

Did cinders die of renal failure at about 16? Liked outside but stayed close and ate wet food bowl made of ceramic white located in kitchen area on a vinyl type floor. WIndows across the back of the house looking onto a cement area first then grass.

Hi Gina – She did have renal failure, she had a mass in her stomach. She was almost 12. She indeed liked being outside, but yes stayed close 🙂
Her main bowls weren’t ceramic (or white), but she did have access to some food in a ceramic bowl – but yes, it is in the kitchen and on a vinyl flooring. There is a sliding glass door across the back that she looked out of – it overlooks grass with the cement area to the left of it and grass beyond that – so that sounds about right!! That was great – thanks for sharing your insights!! -

Hi JoJo! I communicated with Cinders his morning. It wasn’t for long, because shortly after our conversation started she wanted to play. During our conversation I asked her if she ever hangs out with her human mom from her previous life or Seamus. She said, “Yes! All the time! Well, maybe not all the time, but quite a lot.” She also said she plays with Seamus and Seamus can see her. I read or heard somewhere that cats can see spirits. So, it’s natural that Seamus can see Cinders. It seems like there might have been a little more to the conversation even though it was short, but I don’t remember for sure at the moment. I wanted to have a conversation without writing at the same time, but maybe writing at the same time is better. Anyway, Cinders said she was going to go to play. I said, “Bye, Cinders.”

Hi Martha! Yes, I think she does visit often, which I, of course, love 🙂 I absolutely agree that Seamus sees Cinders. When she first passed, and sometimes still, when he’s eating his dinner he suddenly runs away from his bowl towards the basement and turns and stares near his bowl area. It’s like someone startled him, that I can’t see – and just know that is her! Yeah, I agree – It’s a challenge to capture everything and keep the conversation going! Thanks for sharing your conversation with Cinders!!

I communicated with Cinders last night. I had connected during the monthly call and knew she liked being in spirit. I asked her what she did and learned that she works with incoming beings who arrive confused. She said they do not know what happened. I got the sense it was primarily animals who had been heavily drugged prior to transition so did not have a conscious transition. It is a little like babies being born addicted. Of course, there is no physical addiction since they no longer have a body but they need support to come out of the fog and understand what happened and where they are. It seems she is sort of a counselor or therapist for animals arriving who need support.
I asked her if she knows my cat Princess who made transition several years ago. Princess was with me as a cat 3 times in this lifetime and made it clear that she was not coming back this time. She does know Princess and it was sort of as if she handed the phone to Princess. I got a sense of what Princess is doing now and to try and put it in words she is sort of in a management or supervisory role. She works with souls who are planning their next incarnation to help them with their plans. A picture of Princess will be on the August handout. I attached a picture of her here in case anyone wants to communicate with her.I’ve communicated with cats before who were welcoming arrivals but not ones who were working with arrivals who need support or advising those planning their next incarnation. This was my first real communication with Princess since she transitioned almost 6 years ago.
I was not trying to connect – just thought about Cinders and the connection was there. It was a good experience

That is great that you’ve had Princess in your life 3 times! I hope to experience that if Cinders returns to physical some day. I tried to connect with Cinders today but Cinders was having too much fun hiding in some tall grass. She was peeking out at me so I asked her if she wanted to share some conversation with me. All she said was that she was busy exploring and playing, so I told her to have fun and enjoy. She said “Oh, I will” and then she took off. She left me with a sense of playfulness and joy.

Cinders: I am a guide. They recognize that. I connect instantly like they do.
Barb: oh…thank you! Will you keep this job?
Cinders: For awhile. It is so fun! Jo jo can connect with me whenever she likes. I am so happy she could heal this month. Please let all the animal communicator students know how grateful we are that they are learning. It is very much needed in this world and it will help bring positive energy to the physical world.

CS (me): “Hi Cinders. This is Carol from the ATCC.”
C: “Yes, I remember you and wondered when you’d get back with me. We built that spiral slide and it’s been fun.”
CS: “How’d you do that?”
C: “We built it with our thoughts. Teachers showed us how. Then we modified the slide with our thoughts. We added plants and birds on the platform and a big furry bumblebee, and we made a track with more grip so our kittens could learn to climb. What else should we build?”
CS: “Um, um. Well, what about an aquarium?”
C: “What does that look like?”
CS sent a picture of a large, room divider aquarium with lots of brilliantly colored fish like the one she used to see in a dentist’s office.
C: “Yes, I’ve seen a smaller one. Leave this one, and we’ll work on it. Let’s sit here now and watch the fish.”
CS (sitting cross-legged on a low bench in front of it with C alongside): “Are you a touchy-feely cat?”
C: “Oh, yes. Touchy-feely, huggy-kissy. Lots of kittens to cuddle with.”
CS: “Do you remember living somewhere when you were a kitten before you lived with JoJo?”
C: “There was a cat bed with a blanket for me and other kittens. Then JoJo came and chose me. It was scary leaving with her.”
CS: “Did JoJo also bring your brother? Wait a minute, I don’t remember whether you or another kitty in the ATCC has a brother we were talking about.”
C: “You’re going to cheat, aren’t you, and look through the other posts?”
CS: “Yes.”
C: “JoJo had a cat bed ready for us, so I knew we’d be all right with her.”
CS: “What else has scared you?”
C: “Once there was something big and black that filled the doorway. Like smoke. I thought it was coming to smother me. Are you happy with your life?”
CS (thinking of negatives and disappointments): “Yes, despite everything that should have been different.”
C: “Then you should try to forgive her. Them.”
CS: “Maybe. Thank you.”

Hi Carol – Thank you for sharing your follow-up connection with Cinders. That is so cool that you could pick up where you left off and continue to build your kitty amusement park. I hope I can visit there sometime, that is so cool. I love these stories – I do wonder what that was that scared her, that’s interesting! I see she had some special advice for you as well! Your questions for her when she was a kitten made me think of when I went to see the kittens that needed a home, and I picked her for a special reason, I wonder if she knows that and why… Thanks for sharing your conversation.

I found her eyes in the photo a little spooky. As i looked at it again after just having looked up the meaning of Cinder. Never heard that name before….it means gift from God. I looked her pic again and mentioned this and i saw gargoyles pop in my head who too can have spooky looking eyes. She said she was a protector of the property.

Hi Gina! I took that photo a few weeks before she passed away. Her eyes were very yellow from being ill and definitely looked more penetrating than usual in that photo. I didn’t realize that was the meaning – but she truly is a gift from God, and, I’m so grateful to have her in my life. Oh, wow, that’s amazing. Thanks for sharing your chat with her 🙂

Some miscellaneous thoughts below:
–During the July call-in time with Cinders, I also got (as did Ana 7/19 above) that purple was associated with her. I think a caller mentioned a pink or pale purple; I saw a deeper purple. Well, that’s three hits for purple.
–Gina mentioned getting responses during what I think of as the “liminal” or “threshold” state between consciousness and sleep. When I Googled, I learned there are technical terms for the state:
From “state before sleep”: Hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations are visual, tactile, auditory, or other sensory events, usually brief but occasionally prolonged, that occur at the transition from wakefulness to sleep (hypnagogic) or from sleep to wakefulness (hypnopompic).Aug 26, 2015
Last night, when I felt in this state, I asked Cinders what JoJo teased with in her reply to me: she “picked her [Cinders] for a special reason, I wonder if she knows that and why.” Cinders penetrating eyes might have bored into me, so that might be a reason I’d have chosen her. But an image came of Cinders’ paw reaching out to touch JoJo’s hand, and that bonded them. If so, Cinders certainly knew what she was doing to claim JoJo.
–Margaret believes her cat Princess spent three lifetimes with her as a cat. Though I think one lifetime on Earth is enough, I was delighted when I thought my second cat was a reincarnation of a cat I wanted to adopt ten years before. Briefly, my first cat, Persephone, made clear she intended to be an only cat when she tried to kill, after only three days, another cat I fell in love with and brought home. So the new cat rejoined the neighborhood cat lady and died a few months later from a disease at the age of three or four years–major guilt trip for me. A year-and-a-quarter after Persephone died, I adopted a cat from the local shelter (long story short) who I came to believe was my lost second cat reincarnated. A colleague encouraged my belief by describing why she thought one of her current cats had reincarnated.

Hi Carol – That’s a lot of good stuff. I have to look that up to learn even more – about the “hypno/hypna..” states – that also might be a good time for me to attempt connections with the animals, I’ll have to try that. As for Cinders, when I first saw her & her siblings (there were ~ 8 of them) running around where they were being kept, I got the feeling she was picked on by her brothers & sisters, which the guys there confirmed, and I just had to take her with me. I also chose her 1 orange brother (Seamus),or, as you said, maybe she/they chose me… I had the feeling she was a girl, but the guys thought she was a boy and had actually nicknamed her “Mud”, I guess for her coloring. Turns out she was indeed a “she.” (Just something I recalled while thinking of we met.) I’d found out about them thru my boyfriend who works with thes guys periodically and he happened to be at their job site when they were 4 weeks old & told me I could have my pick if I was interested. I wasn’t sure I wanted a new kitty after my last one had died, but it had been about a year at this point and when I woke up that morning (it was also my birthday) I knew without a doubt that I was going to get me a birthday gift in the form of a new kitten or two! I’m so glad I did…And her eyes, they do draw you in and not just during her illness when they were so vibrant – she always had this “knowing” look in them…

Hi JoJo. I communicated with Cinders this morning. I greeted Cinders. She greeted me and said, “Good meowning!” I thought that was so cute! She said I got her while she was on a break from playing. She then said that she is actually mentoring some souls but that they had been playing and she was on a break at the moment. I asked her how the mentoring is going and she said she really likes being able to guide other souls. I asked he what she’s mentoring for. She said she’s helping souls figure out what they want to do in their next lifetime. She asked me why I want to learn to communicate with animals. I told her I want to be able to communicate with my animals in physical body and in Spirit to be able to talk to them and to help them and help make their lives better and also because animals are one of my passions as well as their health, well being, rights, and welfare and I want to be able to help them. She then directed the question to my personal life asking if I’m married and have kids. I told her I don’t have human kids and that I’m not married. She said that she didn’t have kids either in her previous life (she was talking about the one with you) and thought she might in her next life. I got the sense though that you’re married and that in her life with you she had been around kids. Cinders asked me what I’m going to do today. I told her I’m going to do errands and I’m mentioned that I’m going to go to Bed Bath & Beyond. She’s very inquisitive and asked me what that is. I told her it’s a store where you can buy things for the house and for home improvement things. She said animals aren’t concerned with that stuff much, but they like things to be at least somewhat nice. As I was writing this she said she was going to play. She said we could still talk though and told me something, but I forgot what it was. I went to talk some more and she was having a lot of fun playing so I didn’t want to interrupt. I wanted her to keep playing. She told me though to not feel badly that I forgot the other thing she told me. Sometime I’d like to talk with her to ask her things where I can see if what I got was right (asking things that pertain to her life with you). I guess you can verify some of the things I got this time though.

Hi Martha – well, sounds like you two had quite a visit! I have no doubt she loves mentoring, that is so great! She did not have any kittens in her life with me, as she was fixed, but you have me thinking that It’s a choice I never thought I could have her make – I had not known much about communicating with animals in this way until I saw one on a t.v. show – and I was fascinated!! I also had no idea that “normal” people could have the same skills – I thought it was something only some folks were born with, as I guess many (most?) people believe. I, of course discovered everyone can develop these skills (hence my joining here 🙂 ) and it still is amazing the paradigm shift I’ve gone through the last few years as I learn more & more….but I digress! I am not married, but do have a boyfriend, no human kids of my own, but she has been around children, and my one niece since she (my niece) was a baby and neighborhood kids. She was not a fan of kids, being my shy girl – and those little people move so fast and are all hands 🙂 I can picture her being such a loving Mommy though!

Hi JoJo, thank you for sharing Cinders. I just had a very powerful connection with her. She just gave me a huge life lesson.
I must apologise in advance for the long post though.
I was traveling for 2 weeks and I’m just settleing back into my new routine, as both my husband and I are starting new jobs. I am beyond excited and thankful for all of these new changes. We’ve been working hard since we got back from Australia 10 years ago and it is finally paying off. However I had been worrying about not being able to have enough time to practice animal communication and therefore forgetting entirely how to do it and just getting back into being a disconnected human.In the past week and a half I had been meditating but I wasn’t able to connect with an animal. I was traveling and getting things ready for work so I didn’t practice talking to them. I got up this morning determined to connect with an animal. I didn’t know to which one and suddenly out of the blue before starting my meditation Cinders came to my mind.
She was alert, looking at me. I felt her lightness and kindness and I got the feeling that there was something she needed to tell me.
I said hi and asked if it was a good time to talk. She said oh hi, I’ve been waiting for you. I have something for you.
I asked how she was doing and she said: we both know I’m fine, but you my child, you need a bit of help.
C: why are you living in fear and not trusting yourself?
A: I’m afraid I might forget how to do this and I’m scared something can happen to Vincent my dog
C: My dear you can’t be afraid, you need to live and enjoy life. Life is good and you must embrace it once and for all. You will never forget how to talk to animals. You opened that door, you walked the path and it is all in your heart. You have a big heart, there is space for everyone and everything.
Know, believe and repeat to yourself that no matter where life takes you, you will forever be connected with us animals.
Stop being scared, thinking nonesense and doubting yourself. We are all in your heart, you just need to trust and listen. We are always with you. No one can take this away from you, no one can come into your heart and shut us down. This is oart of who you are. Trust and rest assured that you will never forget hiw to talk to animals. You are already listening to us in your everyday, you just don’t realise it yet, but we do.
A: By this moment I was crying and I had a smile on my face and got this sense of calmness and relief. I felt so much compassion and kindness coming from Cinders.
Thank you Cinders for your loving words for your kindness. I got this feeling it was you who I needed to talk to today.
C: yes, dear I’ve been waiting.
Be happy, you can, you have it within you, you deserve a good life. Embrace it. Tell fear to go away you don’t need it, don’t carry it along. Run confident and calm. We are in your heart and you will hear us, believe me you will. Free yourself, be happy you deserve it.
A: and what about my Vincent?
C: what about him? He is there by your side, enjoy your time together. He is a bright guy, listen to him, trust him. He knows what to do. He is your teacher, listen!
He is showing you what you need to work on and fix. He is smart, follow him, trust him. Stop fearing, you don’t need to be scared. You deserve a good life, for God’s sake veleive you do and enjoy it, you are worth it.
Stop being nervous and scared, you are protected and guided, you are.
A: Cinders you are so bright, powerful and wise. Thank you for your message and all this love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I started crying and I felt this warmth and softness against my chest.
C: child, I knew you needed this. You are loved and protected you have your angel by your side, listen to him and just relax, he know what to do. Change your fear for calmness and confidence. Vincent is tired of being the grumpy dog at the park just to show you waht you need to get ridd of. He is doing this for you, but you should stop it now. He is and will be fine, but you need to do your work.

C: you neededit delived with love fro yoyr tender heart and I am really good at that so I did it the best way know how.

Hi Ana! Congratulations to you and your husband on the new jobs – and I’m happy things are going so well for you!! I too am in awe of your conversation with Cinders! I am so glad you were able to connect with her in such a wonderful way and for her to be able to impart such wisdom to you! I am increasingly amazed with each connection you’ve all made with her and have learned so much from you all and about her. I know her loving spirit – she is pure love, but I have learned so much more about her through what you’ve all shared. I had goosebumps reading the post and I’m so glad you’ve shared your experience. It seems she has been able to help a few on this site with her wisdom, and I am thrilled that it has been such a great experience for everyone – I didn’t know what to expect, having her in spirit, but it has been amazing. Hi JoJo, I am sorry for this late post but I have been wanting to share something with you. After my communications with Cinders, I had had a fall and fell backwards landing on my wrist (which is now broken and my arm is in a cast). I wonder if the message ” Look before you leap, Be cautious, Be Brave” had some meaning for me too. Anyway, I just wanted to share that thought with you. I also wanted thank you for sharing the beautiful and charming Cinders with all of us.
