Berenice has volunteered to host her cat, Vayu, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold and Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Vayu along with Val on the Q&A call Saturday, March 14. We encourage all of you to connect with Vayu now and through out the month.

Tune into Vayu first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.

How does Vayu feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Vayu ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.

      Have fun!

Many thanks to Berenice for offering to host Vayu as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Berenice and Vayu sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

      Hi Berenice here,
I am very excited to have Vayu talk and converse with you. Just for your information, I live in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada at the moment with my 2 cats, we moved here about 1 + year ago, I am an american citizen as well, I was living in Iowa most of my life.
Thank you all, looking forward to your insights, I already posted some questions for Val for the next Q and A before I knew he was going to be the feature animal for this month if you want to start with that?
      Have fun!

I connected almost immediately with Vayu (8:20 pm). She was having fun playing with bugs. Her energy seems very direct and focussed, not spread out or scattered. She said that lots of people are going to talk to her and she is looking forward to it. I said I was one of those people and she stopped and sat down and stared at me very directly. (I started having difficulty staying focussed, out of nervousness)…
She seems very healthy and strong physically. She likes to hunt…
When I first contacted her, she said I would move to Vancouver next fall. So far I haven’t thought of that, but we will see…
I’m seeing her in summer weather and I see her walking along a stone pathway. I’m smelling a flowery ‘perfume’. Maybe violets or lily of the valley’s. It’s very noticeable. Maybe she (like me) is looking forward to the warm weather!
…Now I’m seeing that one of her front paws is sore. Maybe even some stitches inVolved. And now I’m smelling rubbing alcohol. Her foot has a bandage.
Was she by any chance stalked by a predator? Something like a coyote? She is tearing across a green space towards home and is very relieved to get there and be with her mother…
I can tell that my time sequences are mixed up in this story.
Well, I hope I got something correct!

Hi Karen, glad you were able to connect with Vayu. I realized that my cats name are confusing, Vayu is a male. but I have to say that his energy feels very female to me compare to my other male cat. what you mention about him staring at you directly and being focus make sense to me, he is clear.
yes, very healthy and strong is true.
yes, he loves to hunt! does it every day. about moving to Vancouver? i did not know he can do this? he likes to hunt along the dirt road in front of my cottage and there are some big stones along the road. what you were smelling might be the pot of spring bulb flowers on my table, 5 different kind of flowers blooming and it smell very delicious and strong! he did not have any injury on his paws, not sure what this is about? hope this is helpful and will make sense to you. thank you

Hi Berenice! Oh what a sweetie Vayu is. I chatted for a few minutes today with him. The word “clumsy” came through first. I then heard “I am a teacher”. He’s very proud of this. He then said “I feel happy,I am loved endlessly”. I asked him as my teacher what he might like to teach me. He responded with “Trust in your own knowing. You have it within you. I promise you with your intention to hear my voice, you will”. I thanked him and he tickled me on my belly and it really tickled….it was so funny! I wanted to giggle. It was like he was proving to me that I could hear him by this. He’s a smartie! At the end of our conversation, I heard the word “Roberta”. Does this resonate with you Berenice?

      hi Marybeth,
thank you for connecting with Vayu! clumsy: Vayu is not clumsy but my other cat is… wonder if he saw Sufi do something clumsy today, or I just started pet sitting my friend’s puppy, big change in the house and this puppy is young and clumsy! this is a big adjustment in the house at the moment so possibly why this word came first. teacher: I consider my cats to be quite evolved, I am glad to hear he is a teacher and some good advice for you. He is very loved and he is also very loving and affectionate. this is really great that he tickled you, so adorable of him! I don’t know anybody call Roberta? will see if I meet this person in the future? !!or it means something else?
      good work!

Thanks so much for your feedback Berenice. I will continue to talk with Vayu this month and let you know what else transpires between us. He absolutely is very evolved. He helped me greatly when I asked him what he would like to teach me as my teacher. I’m very grateful for him.Thank you for this opportunity to communicate with your sweet boy. Say hi to Sufi and your friend’s puppy too!

Oh….shoot! I did not copy my amazing connection with Vayu.
When I pushed submit it disappeared 😥😥😥.

This is what I remember: He has a tangerine colored aura.
When I connected in he came up to me with a bouncy little prance—light and lithe!
He told me he could read minds and that he liked blueberries and going in and out as he pleased. He is very happy in a cat body—first experience in this kind of body. He loves to play with you Berenice when you hold a soft thing that dangles on a string. Then he rolled into a ball and enjoyed the warm sunshine on the ground. He likes to run and hunt and catch mice.
He told me that all the animals were happy I was learning animal communication.
I said how do you know this?
He said he was connected to the oversoul of all cats. The many become one. The cats report in and all know about a lot of things that are going on.
I asked if he had a message for Berenice and he said you were special—a lover and a giver.
I thanked him deeply and said I would connect on the group call in a few days.

      12March2020

Thank you so much for putting Vayu forward to be our teacher this month, Berenice.

Wow. He came in with a flurry of furry purring loving energy. Deep, wise and strong.
Me: How do you spend your day.
V: Playing with Berenice. Exploring outside. Talking with my friends.
I sensed that he wasn’t interested in small chat but wanted to cut to the chase.
      Me: Tell me about yourself:
V: I am quite powerful. I see things in my minds eye and I connect with them. I like to teach other animals.
I wish all beings would connect with the earth in the way that I do.
      Me: Grounding is so important
      V: Exactly so!

(Right now He’s in my heart space. Purring and filling it with love.)

Me: do you connect with my Mathilda?
      V: Oh yes! She’s beautiful. She’s a radiant soul.

Me: Is it night time where you are?
      V: Yes. It doesn’t matter.

Me: Do you have any messages for Berenice?
V: Yes. Tell her I love her.
She’s the most important being in my world.
Tell her to be happy and not to take life so seriously.
      Tell her I’m hers.

Me: Do you have a message for me?
V: Stay on your chosen path (I’ve been having doubts and feeling discouraged) You have a gift.
      Me: I’ve been having doubts
V: Well leave them outside in the cold! Come in here where it’s warm! (I love that – and he showed me an image of a beautiful warm cosy room with a fire- I’m not sure if the image was your place or an imaginary place I could come when I experience doubts)
We need you to help us. I love you.

      Again, my thanks Berenice xxx

Hi Barbara, thank you for connecting with Vayu! let me try to give you some feed back if I can! regarding aura i cannot see aura so I cannot really help you there, maybe someone else in the class on saturday can confirm this. Vayu is very athletic so he will feel light, glad to hear he could read mind, I know he hears me very well when I talk to him. he likes papaya. he does go in and out but I only allow them to go outside when I am home during the day and can keep an eye on him because of the eagles and running loose dogs around here. When I play with him, he likes little rubans which looks like mouse tails I suppose… he is a hunter that is for sure and a good one! interesting information about his connection with the oversoul of cats and his message to me. thank you again. excellent!

hi Averil, thank you for your connection! let me reply to what I could confirm for you. yes, he is pure love energy, this is true. I will concur to being deep, wise and strong as well, this is how he feels to me and will make sense that he would not feel like doing small talk. we spend a lot of time together and he loves to go outside and hunt and check on the geese etc… interesting to hear that he feels powerful and see things and teach other animals. filling your heart with love will be like him! thank you for his message, good one about taking life too seriously, I know it is so true how much he loves me he puts his arms around my neck like a person so adorable and lots of bunking with his nose to my face saying see, see, how much I love you! I love the message he gave you, we do have a cozy living room with a fire place and we hang out there at night all together on the sofa, its our special moment and I think he wanted to transmit this feeling of ease. thank you so much! hope this is helpful!

Thanks for getting back to me Berenice. I’m delighted that you do have a cosy lounge room with a fireplace. It seemed very detailed and I could see him snuggled up having a snooze on the couch. He’s beautiful.
Another special and beautiful animal in my acquaintance. xxx

      Hi Berenice,
I’m connecting with Vayu as I write this. Before even greeting him (when just sensing his energy), I felt that he is confident and got an image of him walking confidently with his head held high and happy while doing so.

When I greeted him he rubbed my face with his head.

I asked him what he would like to talk about. He said he’d like to talk about anything. I asked him what it’s like where he lives. I’m not sure if I got an image of the background in the FAT picture for Vayu or if I was just seeing the background. I got, “France,” and “France home”. I also got that he likes the background in the FAT picture and that he likes to be outside and roam. He likes to hear, see, and smell other animals and Nature.

Vayu said he’s a healthy boy and I got an image of him getting up in your lap and purring. He said, “Don’t forget kneading.” “I love to knead.”

He also said he’s an acrobat. He said he loves to, “play with the mouse.” “And tuna. I love to eat tuna.”

I stepped away from the conversation for a bit and then came back and apologized. He was cool with it. I said, “So, tell me about yourself.” Vayu said you got him when he was young-a kitten-small kitten-and he loves to play. He sent me a visual of a mouse and then one of him walking around where you two live and in the visual he was carrying the mouse. He said he loves the mouse.

He said he loves things that smell good-like something you burn (sage?) and flowers. I got an image of some flowers in a small vase.

He said he loves to climb trees. And nap. He said there’s a particular blanket he LOVES. I also got that you have a particular female friend who he loves.

Vayu said he loves it when you hang out on the couch and watch TV in the evenings or the weekend. I got an image of you on a couch with the light on a working on a laptop and I’m getting that Vayu is nearby or next to you and the TV is on.

He also said he’s been a part in helping you heal physically and emotionally and that he purrs and part of why he purrs is for the vibrations to heal you physicallyand to make you happy, too and heal emotionally. He knows purrs are very powerful-not just sweet and cute. “Although I am a sweetheart,” he says.

“I have a sense of humor, too” he says. I love to laugh and make her and the other cat laugh. I love to perform for people so when other people are over at the house I do silly things and make them laugh.” ” I also love to check out their belongings and them, too. I smeel them, their clothes, their shoes, and their items-purses and such). I also like to leave my mark,” and he sent a smile.

I thanked Vayu for talking with me and wished him a nice weekend. He thanked me and wished me the same and said, “Bye,” and sent an image of him going off and then he rubbed his face on me again. Love to Vayu!

Hi Martha, thank you for your communication on this post and today during the class, Amazing, so glad you felt he taught you something with the green light.
the confidence he shows when you connected with him is him, here around the cottage he walks among gaggles of geese and they respect him and he respect them.
***he rub your face you said, he loves to headbutt it is totally him.
***yes, he likes to roam around the cottage and hunt and we are surrounded by grass and by the forest and we go for walks. he stays close and go in and out.
***yes, he loves to knead when he feels particularly amorous and loving.
***he is very athletic and acrobat probably came to you because he has to go up this ladder in the loft and he really needs to turn and twist to go up.
***he likes mice and he said it many time to you, funny! he must really like them! and wanted you to have the experience of it! and birds too and rabbit, and chipmunk, etc. he likes tuna but more so I will say chicken and sardines?
***yes, I got him when he was a kitten with his brother from a feral mother.
***I am diffusing some lavender and thieves these days (sometimes I burn incense too) and I have several small bouquets of flowers in small vases on my table! around a pot of several variety of bulbs that just finished flowering, that is amazing that he showed you this! wow! this is impressive.
***he often attends to claim tree
***and yes, I almost always have a blanket on me when I meditate or watch TV on the couch and he lies on me, he loves that. I think I know who he likes, it’s probably my friend Awatief!
***yes, certainly part of my healing team!
***yes, he makes me laugh, runs around silly.
      ***yes, smell visitors stuff
***he often make the gesture of marking not on things but around the house while he is meowing and unhappy about something…
***not surprised he rub his face on you when you were finished talking to him, He loves to do that and bunt when he loves someone, he loves you!
you did amazing! thank you. if you are more questions let me know.

hey! thank you so much for all your connections with Vayu during the class today, it was very validating for me too. I know that Vayu is a strong being and is pure loving energy, it made me realized that he is very powerful, confident and focus in his purpose as a teacher and an healer, healing with his heart (green energy). I am aware how much he loves me and all the ways he shows me, he hugs me with his front legs and paws around my neck like a human, so cute right! lots of headbutts and I sure love him back as much as he does. Since both my cats come from a feral mother, they feel very strong and wild yet domesticated and very obedient at the same time if it makes sense, one of the reason they more so love the outdoor and hunting and actually really eating and enjoying their preys. Vayu and Sufi, both males and brothers, have great inner strength from my point of view and their presences are never missed by all the people they meet. thank you for your validation if you have more questions let me know.
Blessings and love to all my classmates for your commitments.

      Hi Berenice!
Thank you for the feedback. Vayu hunts chipmunks, too?! Wow! What a hunter he is! I loved the part about the green light he talked about, too. It wasn’t me-I don’t remember who got about the green light though. I think it was whoever was in the queue after me.

Where you live sounds lovely and peaceful-a cottage, grass, flowers, and geese 🙂

About going up the ladder, I just got, “Yes, that’s how I keep in shape.” lol.

As for the lavender and thieves you diffuse and the flowers, I think he loves and enjoys them 🙂 He sent me an image just now of him smelling them in the vase and then another of him outside and his head surrounded by a bunch of flowers and looking at me-very cute!

Sunday: Hi Berenice! I’m connecting with Vayu right now. I asked if he had a moment to talk. At first he asked me to wait a moment. He was bathing and wanted to finish. lol 🙂 I asked him which of the fruits he likes. I got “peach”. I thanked him. He asked if we’d talk again. I said, “Yes, of course!” and wished him a lovely day. He said, “Great! Thanks, you, too, hun” or “doll”. I said, “I love you, Vayu.” He said, “I love you, too, Martha.” He sent me an image of him with a big smile 🙂

      Hi Berenice
Thank you so much for make yourself and Vayu available as the FAT of this month.

I have received the following during the Q & A call:
Vayu is open, curious, aware of his surrounding, ready to run if necessary. I think you can call being very alert. Can you see this in him?
He is doing well. I feel how he is rubbing against my leg.
He loves to be outside but also enjoys his inside time. The outside is adventure time and inside is safe time and loving time with you. Vayu is full of life. He likes to purr. He likes to sleep in the bed.
He likes to be touched and loves the lower back by the tail to be touched. His fur feel soft.
He said which I don’t understand. Maybe you will about a dog:
They have a dog in the family. He is cool but I kinda stay away and sometimes take a sniff at him.
His aura is orange and in some area’s turning brownish.
He says” Don’t worry too much.”

      Hi Berenice,
About the papaya-Papaya was what I got first! It just goes to show us that we need thank the ego brain, but not go with what it says but instead go with what we get first. I let my ego brain get in the way though because my ego brain had me thinking a cat wouldn’t like papaya. Papaya was what came to me first though! 🙂

Before greeting Vayu, he was already connecting with me and showed me his two front paws. He was pointing out his socks (the white on his front paws). I think he’s proud of them and I just heard him say that he is 🙂

I asked Vayu how he is. He said he’s worried about you because you’re worried about the corona virus for yourself, the world, and those you love. He said he’s also worried about you because your immune system is a bit weaker than other peoples immune systems. I just heard, “Lemon” “Tell her to drink lemon”. “She won’t like it, but tell her to drink it.”

He just said he wants to talk about something besides the virus. I asked what he’d like to talk about and he said his favorite things to do. “Go outside and explore and hunt and sunbathe. Lounge around, loaf around inside. Sleep. Cuddle. Play with my toy. Smell. Go on adventures in my mind when I play.” He then asked me what I like to do and I told him I don’t get out much. He said I should get out more. I agreed and said maybe I would after the corona virus. Then Hawkeye (my boy kitty) said he has been trying to tell me to get out more and Serenity (my girl kitty) agreed.

I asked him what you like to do. I got an image of you on the couch with a blanket and I’m getting you read. I also got that you like to ride horses.

Vayu said he likes to bring things or creatures to you from outside. He also sent me an image of him on his hind legs playing with a wand toy with a string and something on the end of the string that someone is holding for him to play with. He said he loves this.

I also got that he sleeps with you at night and curls up in your chest and that Sufi is either by your legs or by your head.

Vayu said he’d like to be able to ride in the car and look out the window. I told him that it’s not safe (for him to be loose in the car) and explained to him why it’s not safe. He said he hadn’t thought of that before.

He sent me an image of him rubbing around your legs while in the kitchen. He said when he does that he’s waiting for breakfast/food.

I thanked him for talking with me. He wished me a wonderful weekend and to be well. I thanked him and said, “You, too.”

Hi Manuela, yes, he is very curious, inquisitive and alert. glad to hear he is doing well! yes, he loves to be outside and hunt and I can attest that he is also very comfortable inside, feeling safe here and I enjoyed his company and loving heart. he is here for me. yes, he purrs a lot when we hug and he has a soft purr. he sleeps in the beds and both my cats have many area where they like to rest. I do pet him on his back by his tail and he seems to like it!
**** about the dog…. I was pet sitting a friend’s puppy with a happy high energy, you can imagine how very active full of energy this young pup was. Vayu was very cool with the puppy and calm and kept away as I had the puppy only in the kitchen area inside and sniffing the pup yes when he will pass by and at the end he would pass by the puppy who was on a leash outside and the pup learned from Vayu not to go run after him, he would just sit calmly and let him pass by. I filmed it, I was impressed! *** a lot of people in the class have seen the orange aura around Vayu. Did he say “don’t worry too much to me or you or both of us? it certainly apply to me ! Ha!! thank you for your connection

Hi Martha, so amazing and cute everything you are getting from Vayu! thank you!
yes, really good about the papaya … go with the first hit when we get answer so hard not to let our logical brain kick in. ***Interesting for Vayu to talk about his white front paws! ***I think he is right that I have to be careful since my immune system seems weak right now, it is very interesting, just 1/2 hour ago before reading this post, I got out my lemon essential oil to diffuse I thought I should alternate with the other oils I am diffusing and I went to the store to buy more lemons, I do lemon water every day upon arising and I also got some lemon infused mineral water! wow! right on!!! **** I thought it was very funny that he wanted to talk about something else but virus something that is more of interest to him. all the things you mention are true. also, made me laugh that he is mentioning for you to go out more and that your cats agree! LOL! *** When I finally get to sit on the couch I do for my meditation or rest or at night at the end of the day, (with a blanket) I will watch TV or read about something. Vayu always join me in those moments when i can relax. I work with horses every week at therapeutic riding, yes, I love horses. I am starting riding class this weekend. *** he likes to bring his prey inside if I would let him do so but he knows i don’t want to so he stays on the balcony. ***he loves playing with a toy on a string which I attached a ribbon as well at the end of it, both my cats love it! *** Actually, I asked Vayu to come sleep with us 2 nights ago, because he has been sleeping in the living room, so he did, Vayu likes to sleep by my head but it varies between the 2 cats depending who gets there first, then the other will take another place by my chest, leg or head, true. ***we don’t do the car often these days only to go to the vet and I have been putting them in their crates but i know that he likes to be free in the car and look in the window that is for sure! *** he does the rubbing sometimes but this is mostly his brother Sufi that does that every morning. Vayu likes to wait in certain spots from a distance as he is not that hungry in the morning, unlike his brother, Vayu wants to go out first. hope this is helpful and I thank you so much for this wonderful dialogue!!! super good work, very inspiring!

      Hi Berenice
Thanks for the fast reply. Cool, I didn’t know had a dog in the house. On the call, you only mentioned another cat. The dog message came in strongly and decided to write about it. About the message ‘don’t worry too much’, I believe this was for the both of us. I think to remember that I have asked him if he has a message. I am also a worrier so I guess the message was for the both of us. Lol. You have a wonderful cat!

Thanks Manuela, you know the song on my phone when it rings is « don’t worry, be happy » so appropriate! Ha! I was pet sitting my friend’s puppy from March 2-12 and it was a big deal for my cats. The pup was in here all the times and I had to take care of him and play and train, it disrupted our little routine that’s for sure!

Hello Berenice: I just tuned into Vayu. I wasn’t able to connect during our Q&A call unfortunately, but today I got a little bit. I am not getting a lot yet. What I did get seems rather general. Vayu seemed happy to have someone tune in to visit with. I just held the space as I connected. He stood at a distance and put his tail up into the air. I think he was seizing me up before he decided to come closer. His aura was a green color. He came over to me and rubbed on my legs and started purring. He is a beautiful boy, very soft and loving. I enjoyed being with him for a short time.

Hi Sally! Yes, Vayu is a happy cat and is very loving. You got his approach right, he likes to check the person out before he decides if he wants to interact with the person and shower his love and healing. Green is the color he likes to work with according to others in the class. I am glad you got to experience his softness and gentle loving heart. Thank you and good work!

      Hi Berenice!
Thanks for the feedback-very helpful indeed!-helpful to know for things where I was right on as well as it’s helpful to know where there was perhaps another cat communicating (Sufi about rubbing your legs for breakfast) as well as about bedtime. A good question for me to put in this week’s accountability for the one about if we have any questions about communicating with animals would be how to be able to tell if another animal is jumping into the conversation. That would be interesting and very good to know!

In regards to him wanting to talk about something besides the virus, he probably knows that it’s on the mind of a lot of humans and maybe thinks it’s good for us to think about other things.

Even these days I am still so impressed with myself when I am right on about things-for example: Vayu saying for me to tell you to drink lemon and you using lemon in your diffuser and you drinking water with lemon every morning!. Regardless of how many times I’m right, it’s all still so amazing to me!

      March 27th communication with Vayu:
I’m connecting with Vayu as I write this. I asked him how he is and he said good. He also showed me an image of him walking on the rock or wall in the picture. He said he was walking towards me 🙂

I asked Vayu what he has been up to. He said the other day (yesterday?) he brought you something (a creature) from outside. He was giving you a gift to “help take care of you since you take care of him”. “I love her. I love Mommy”. I said, “That’s very sweet of you,” and he sent me an image of him smiling.

I asked Vayu if he has gotten any papaya lately. He said he has and that he gets it quite often. He said you like papaya, too, but Sufi doesn’t. He said you and he share the papaya. And you share tuna.

He said, “I like catnip,” but then I got that Sufi said that. I just got, “We both do!”

He said he roams around outside and patrols. He likes to protect his territory and his loved ones.

I also got that you’re not much of a coffee drinker and that you are more of a tea drinker.

I asked Vayu if he likes horses. He said he doesn’t know, but he thinks he probably would. He said if you do then he would. He said he likes most of what you like.

I also got that he would like for you to read to him and Sufi! 🙂 They think that would be fun 🙂 He said they should makes books for reading to cats!

I said, “I hope you have a great and relaxing weekend, Vayu”. He said, “Thanks! I will!” I thanked him for talking with me and said I am excited for the next time we talk. He said, “You’re welcome. Me, too.” I think rubbed his chin and gave him a kiss on the head and he then walked away to go do stuff. Love to Vayu!

hi Martha, yes, good question about how to notice that another animal is commenting. about creature…. I am not aware that he has been successful in his hunting, lately they have not been catching any mice or others. …. love, love, love, this is always well expressed, every day he reminds me. …. no papaya around for a long time, did not see any here on the island since we moved here. True, Sufi does not like papaya. hummm tuna, okay, I don’t give them tuna very often as it contains a lot of mercury so this is a rare thing. ….they like catnip and get somewhat high on it. …. yes, he does patrol and feel that he is the protector. ….. I like coffee but cannot drink too much of it (no cafeine) and I drink tea too, both. ….you are right about the horses, he has never really met one so he does not know, I work with horses every week. ….read to them, that is funny! what about singing? Ha! …. thank you again, Love to you!
