If I wanted to connect with a specific animal species — for example, dolphins — but didn’t have a particular individual or group of dolphins in mind, would I simply set the intention to connect with the collective consciousness of the dolphins, or ask for one to come forward to represent them? Is there a way to sense whether an individual has stepped forward, or if I’m connecting with the collective consciousness of the species?

Ceiling area by fireplace – lookin up and loudly talking to ghosts(?) n looking back at me trying to tell me something. Should I worry?

Platinum MemberCategory: a) Sick not urgent
From the last Q&A on Oct. 11, I left an update.
Sorry to be back on here, we have been having a rough time. Diagnosis is that she has Pancreatitis. It seems like every time she goes to the Vet; she has something new. To make a long story short, she started vomiting yellow, pasty stuff every day. After many days of trial and error, I’ve found that she doesn’t vomit if I feed her every 3 hours with smaller amounts of food. This is every 3 hours for 24-hour days. So, I am attached to an alarm.
Now no vomit, but her poop has diminished to one every other day. She used to have 2/day. The last 2 poops have been very dark, almost black. The vet is considering keeping her overnight and start her on Cerenia. I can’t let this happen.
What is going on with Mochi? She doesn’t look sick, and she is such a love bug! She cannot be dying! What do I need to do to help her? She won’t talk to me! I am trying to find another vet, since she doesn’t seem to like the one we now go to. We have very limited choices here.
Thank you!

Platinum MemberDebbie,
I don’t know if you will get this. I tried earlier today, but it didn’t go through.
I do not have your email. So, I do not know how to get in touch with you.Valerie
Here is what I sent earlier…
Debbie,
That is so sweet of you to offer your help in my Mochi’s situation! I will gladly accept your kind offer.
I do not have Facebook. I don’t know what messenger is, unless that is texting. Lol, you can tell I’m not
technologically savvy.I was saddened to hear that class was cancelled, but Val’s health is of the
utmost importance at this time!I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, so I will be gone. I’m sure you and Mochi will be fine together, but I won’t be able
to give you feed back until later.Mochi seems to be holding her own right now. I’m afraid to change anything I’m doing for fear she will slip into vomiting again.
Peace and Prayers for your kind soul,
Valerie and MochiOn Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:42:50 AM PST, AnimalTalk Club <[email protected]> wrote:

Platinum MemberHi Valerie, I connected with Mochi and I got from her a feeling that it is nothing to do with Pancreatis.. I did pick up that she has an upset stomach.. She did tell me from 1-10 that she felt like a 5- 6 in pain ( headache)..
Mochi says you always worry about her!.. She wants you to just be in a calm state and not to look for anything right now!.. I almost feel like she is acting extra sick because you are really studying her?.. I wouldn’t give the thought to much attention and with vets!.. Unless it’s an emergency which you will know!.. I’m not a vet nor am I Val!!.. So don’t take what I say to heart!.. I do feel her stomach is sensitive and nothing wrong with smaller meals, longs they add up to right amount for the day.. You could try boiled chicken for her, that’s easy on stomach and gives her good nutrients..
I feel she has a lot going on digestively.. but I feel it’s managable at home with you! .. When she likes to eat.. was she a cat that gobbled her food down quickly?..
If Mochi had Pancreatis .. she would not be purring and acting okay as it is quite painful..
I hope that helps and that Mochi feels herself again!.. let us know how Mochi is doing.. as if it were something like the Pancreas, we could download a good one like Val taught us!Thank you Valerie, and thank you Mochi for talking with me 🙂
Love and Light,
Debbie

Platinum MemberDebbie,
I am so sorry not to get back to you quicker!! After I went to the dentist, I felt my energy being drained rather quickly. It was so strange. Then my right eye was giving me problems; so much that I had to call the optometrist to see what was going on. It turned out that I had an inflammation in my right eye that was causing all my woes. He gave me some drops and within 2 hours, I was feeling better, and my eye was definitely on the mend. But all the stuff I had scheduled to do went on the back burner. So, please forgive me!
It is so hard for me to not worry about Mochi…she is my all in all. But I have been trying to calm myself down after I read your reply. I think you were right about her stomach being upset. I watched her for a couple of days and found that she wanted to go to the potty, but nothing was happening. Her food intake was diminishing to less than a can a day. So, against the Vet’s recommendation, I put a tsp of organic pumpkin mixed with her food. It was like a miracle…she went poop! And it was a nicely formed one too. It happened, I’d say within 15 minutes of eating. Then she even looked so much happier. She has started to eat better now. I gave her one more tsp of pumpkin and she has been good.
I’ve read that purring can be a healing tool for cats when in pain, so I’m not sure about her not purring suggesting that there isn’t pancreatitis. But I do like the idea of visualizing a new pancreas for her. That would be awesome!
I’m going to try the boiled chicken for her. Again, the vet suggested that making her food would be difficult and time consuming, when I asked if I could make her food instead of the canned food. I think she was worried that Mochi wouldn’t get the right nutrients especially for her kidney disease.
Since she is an only cat, she never had to worry about anyone stealing her food, so she didn’t gobble her food too quickly.
Thank you so much for talking with Mochi and seeing what is going on with her. I know she loves me, but I really wonder why I can’t talk to her like you and many others in the group. I must be doing something all wrong. Anyway, I am grateful for you!
Peace and love,
Mochi and Valerie -

Platinum MemberUpdate on Mochi,
The Vet just called with the results of her bloodwork. Her pancreas enzymes have gone up from a 4.4 to a 7.1 in one month. All sorts of discussions on treatments, I’ve opted for the antibiotics (Zeniquin) to see if that helps. I do not know much about that drug. She has also lost 1 pound since her last check up a few weeks ago. She has been eating but it is a roller coaster as far as amounts go.
Just thought I’d let you all know what is going on with Mochi.
Much love,
Valerie & Mochi-

Question: Debelica is a street cat my friend takes care for. She has spasms or cramps, when her right front leg fully bends and Debelica loudly cries and jumps in terrible pain. Vets did blood test and X-ray but nothing is showing. What could it be connected to? Thank you from all of us.
