Platinum MemberHi Everyone,
My name is Shelly and I am a new student. I live in San Antonio, TX and I am vegan. I have completed the Awaken Your Inner Guidance course and on lesson 3 of the Core Foundations course. I have always loved animals and have always talked to them with my words, never knowing that two-way communication with them was actually possible! Now that I know we CAN communicate with them, I am super excited to master this ability! I am so glad to be learning from Val and each of you!I have had a couple wonderful experiences lately that I wanted to share and get your thoughts to see what you think, if I am on the right track. 🙂 I will try to summarize them as best I can.
1. A couple months ago, a squirrel was trapped in my laundry room. I had a live trap set up but couldn’t get him to go in for nothing! All day passed and still wouldn’t go in. I went outside, bare feet to the ground and pleaded with the squirrel to go in the crate before it got dark so I could set him free (this was before I even knew about animal communication – I just got desperate and worried for the squirrel, it just felt like the thing to do at the time). The second I went back in the house, I heard the door to the trap close! He went in!!!!! I talked to him the whole way outside (with words so I thought) and set him free.
2. This weekend, a green anole lizard was on my aloe plant outside. I decided to try what I learned so far from these classes and had 3 separate conversations with it. I used my words and my thoughts to ask several questions to the lizard. Usually they run away the second they see you but this one tilted his head like he was shocked he could hear me. I asked if he would help me with my animal communication skills. He stayed and physically answered every question I asked. Ex: I asked if he had dinner yet and he opened his mouth, smacked his lips like he just ate. I asked how he gets his dinner and he slowly crawled up the leaf looking at me like he was sneaking up on something. I asked what does he do next, does he use his tongue? He opened his mouth like he grabbed something real quick and acted like he was eating. No bug in sight. I told him he was so strong to hold on to the leaf like he did, that he had strong toes. He then flexed his toes! It goes on and on but that was how the talk went. When I asked him later to show me something mentally this time instead of physically, he closed his eyes, so I closed mine. I immediately saw a very bright red light behind my closed eyelids (I never see color, just darkness), then it turned to yellow, then went away. I opened my eyes, he had moved to another leaf and just looked at me. After awhile, when I could tell he was done talking, I thanked him, he nodded his head as if to say you’re welcome and bye!
I couldn’t contain the excitement! Does it sound like I am on the right track? I can’t wait to learn more! Maybe soon I will try the animal teacher practice so I can get feedback. 🙂 Nice to meet all of you!

Platinum MemberWelcome Shelly!
It absolutely sounds like you are on the right track. The squirrel definitely heard you and complied so he could be set free outside. And what a delightful exchange you had with the lizard. Thanks for sharing. Check out the Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises. You will have a lot of fun going through those. With all the wonderful material in this program, it will be exciting to see your progress.

Platinum MemberThank you, Sue!! I will absolutely check out those lessons/exercises! It is exciting to know I am on the right track. It felt so right both times and I told myself I actually did it but you know how the mind goes, it started saying, “ah, that was too easy to be true”. LOL 😆 I am learning that if I “just do it and don’t think to hard about it”, basically just let it happen, it seems to happen. When I think to hard about it, I think that is my block. I am glad I learned that lesson early so I can prevent the block. Gives more meaning to me of the saying, “just BE”.
So nice meeting you and thank you for your thoughts and help! I look forward to learning with you!

Platinum MemberThank you so much, Val!!! It is such a wonderful feeling! I am so happy to be learning from you and will be like a big sponge and adsorb all I can. 🙂 I just finished your ambience meditation for the first time and good golly, the emotions went from one end of the spectrum to the other. I had my nice meadow, tree, flowers, grass, insects, birds, and a fluffy bunny and was so happy and at peace. When you brought in the construction crew, my emotions took quite the turn and I felt so sad, like I lost it all. But when you brought us out of our imagination and told us to appreciate what we had around us, it definitely made me appreciate more! That was quite a powerful meditation and would actually be helpful in dealing with emotions of loss to get through it and love what we have still here. 🙂 Big hugs and much love back to you!!!! 🙂
