A few years ago I assisted my Dog of 17 years, Blu , my little chihuahua to cross the rainbow bridge. It was the middle of the night and he was in congestive heart failure. When the dr came in and Blu saw the needle or saw her -I can’t remember which he squeaked or called out . I said oh no he doesn’t want to go. She said oh no he is just struggling to breathe. He can’t get air. I said oh! We can’t let him suffer. This has haunted me to this day. Did he want to stay a bit longer or was he truly trying to breathe or was it something else. He was and is my soul dog and I always wanted to know if I had done the right thing. I thought I would get over it but I have not. I love that dog and will forever as we do with all of our animals.

Bridget I tuned into Blu and I saw a very happy puppy. His joy filled my heart and engulfed my self with joy.
He is in very good place. you dont need to worry about him. Blu is not a chihuhua, but very happy middle size dog.
I would tune into his joyful soul or I would encourage you to tune into that energy.
🙂
hope this helps. send you love. patricia

This question is a general (heavy) question (and I am not sure this is the correct location to post it). I would like to hear from whomever would want to share their insights, knowledge & thoughts and I would also like to hear from you Val and your experience.
What are your thoughts about suicide / ending life in animals vs humans. Do you see ending life in animals different than when people decide to end their life?
I bring this up because my colleague, the person who sat next to me and shared a cube with at work decided to end his life and was successful just 3 weeks ago and 1 week before Shy decided to also leave. Pedro’s was young (43) and NEVER gave an indication he was miserable with his life. No prior notice at all. WE are ALL shocked. I am very heartbroken & seeing a counselor. I dont understand how I did not see it. He sat next to me. With COVID we were not speaking too much because we were partially working from home alternate weeks.
After of notice that he had died ( no one at work told us he hung himself and to this day no one has officially told us how he died) I communicated with him and asked him what happened. I wanted to make sure he crossed over and was ok. For what ever reason he proceeded to tell me he had died of heart attack days before he did actually ended his life and how he felt he had been cheated out of life. “This is a mistake ! ” he shouted at me.
about a week after his death I found out he was not truthful with me about how he died. I know he is having hard time with his decision to end his life and I am trying to feel compassion for him rather than feel lied to. it just makes it so much harder to help someone if they are not truthful. My experience with animals is very different. I have been helping animals in the passing and the crossing over process. Some outside animals would look for me so I help their bodies pass by taking them to the vet for assistance (I dont do that much anymore). A bird at Publix let me put him in a box to then jump out in front of a car to his death! He knew I would do a ceremony and properly bury or cremate him. he just wanted to make sure I would pick him up!
With animals there SEEMS to be a wanting to go to the next step, next life, back home. While with humans its a wanting to end life due to unbearable life (as they see it) more mental. they want to end their problems by ending life.
thanks for reading and responding. -

Snoopy passed peacefully June 10, 2020 at 2:00pm. What is she doing now? How are her teeth? Back legs? What does she say about her life? I would like to know if Snoopy wants to reincarnate back to me, if so how will I know it is her? Did she pass before her time? Or just as planned?

My grey kitty Stash went to his fantastic new home on June 8.
Would you be able to have a conversation with him about his biting? I am very concerned he may cause big problems once he is settled in, if he continues biting. I will be absolutely riveted to see how you deal with this issue. Also, can you check in how it is all going with him? With the “limited info” I get, I think it is going good as he settles in.

Taffy, my 75-pound golden retriever, barks and lunges at some vehicles driving by (cars, trucks, bicycles), especially larger trucks (which are frequent in my neighborhood), when we take walks. It is very dangerous for me and for her, as it often takes every ounce of my strength to hold her back and for me not to fall over and to hold onto her leash. Why does she do this? How can this behavior be stopped? She needs to understand that instead of protecting me, she is putting me and herself in danger. Also, does her “fuzzy eyesight” (Taffy’s words to you) contribute in any way to this behavioral issue? Thanks.

Although my cat Lady promised in our private session to use the litter box again when I replace the one, in which her friend Silver died, she changed her mind and now uses exclusively my couch for peeing and pooping. Please check in with her why she does this.
I think I will force her to live in the kennel, which she will not like at all, but I can’t cope with the situation much longer.

Can animals manifest things at their reality like people can? Can they change and affect on the people, like we can change and effect them?
How they Experiences time?
What is similar and what diffrent in the mental and emotional between us and them

I’m reposting this from the June call since we didn’t have time to get to it. Any insight will be greatly appreciated!
My dog, Sadie, will not drink out of any water bowls inside the house. I adopted her almost 1.5 years ago and this has always been the case. When I first adopted her she seemed to be afraid of any water and she has gradually gotten better outside with water. I’d really like to know what to do for her because it is so hot here in the summer and I am concerned that she will be chronically dehydrated if she doesn’t drink any water inside the house. One other thing I’d love to know is why she is resistant to come into my bedroom and sleep there at night. If she’d like her dog bed to be in a different location, I’d be happy to move it.Attachments:

What questions will you ask with lost animals?
Do you have any tips about it?
And how can we know if they are in their phisical body still or left him? -

Hi. I was wondering if you can communicate with animals when they are asleep. Because of the different time zones I may be trying to connect with an animal when it is the middle of the night for them. Unfortunately I will probably not be on the call as it is the middle of the night for me, but it is great to get the recordings. Many thanks. Angela.

Hi Angela Levis, i could not help but answering your question because it just happened to me recently with the FAT Prince, Vivian’s dog. I did not know where he was located or time there. When I started connecting with him, I could tell that he was sleeping and figure out that he was probably sleeping for the night which I confirmed with Vivian later when I asked her to let me know her time zone. I simply asked him if it was alright with him to talk to me even though it was bed time and he said yes. If he would of said no, I would of try another time. The same can happen if they are busy doing something important to them this is why I always connect and ask if this is a good time to talk. Berenice
As a comment: I think it will be a good idea for the FAT conversations to let us know their location and time zone right away. -

I would like some help with Lacey, schnauzer/poodle mix, 5 yrs old, who belongs to a friend. She has separation anxiety and is barking a lot when people come to the farm. Lacey lived with an old couple for 2 years before they decided to find a home for her, she did not get much exercice or socialisation and one of them was always at home. My new friend has horses and is a good horse trainer but talking with her she admits that she does not have much time or energy left for Lacey and her training and that she does not want to be the nag as well since her young daughter who is 10 will not follow up and her husband is not interested. It is more important to keep harmony with the family at this point. She agreed to try a few easy things I suggested.
First question: how do you deal with this little doggy knowing that the physical training needed will not be happening?
2nd question: I connected with Lacey and she is not grounded so I work on that on her behalf, she tells me she used to be a fairy and it is very hard for her to connect to the earth. I explain that I understand since I am he same way and I tell her the benefit: she will feel so much calmer and she won’t need to rely on people to make her feel grounded and it will also give her a bigger perspective on her life situation since she will feel so much bigger and stronger when connected to the earth energy. I wonder if she got all that?
I feel her anxiety is all about feeling safe, is this right?
Since she has to find peace for herself I asked her if there is a place within herself she can go to to feel safe? I also offer to create a grid around her and her bed where she will feel safe and I am thinking of asking her person to create a place where she can go to feel safe and not be disturb by anyone?
Am I on the right track please advice?Attachments:

Val, I am in real need to have you answer this question: I am venturing out more with regard to my going Professional; though I have not done any advertising or created a website people are beginning to call on me for help. YaY… the issue I am facing is with behavioral changes in animals. I have had some really good and I believe powerful sessions but when I follow up with the client they say the behavior is still happening. I realize that it can take more than one session but how do I convey this? without demeaning myself or working another several hours doing another session & report for no extra price. I so wan to be able to have such good conversations so that the animal(s) are willing to alter their behavior in one session, but…. What percentage of your “behavior sessions” take more than the one visit?
Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

I’m concerned that Maddie may be having some joint issue in her hind legs or hips. She hesitates when jumping up on the recliner or going up the last part of the ramp up onto the bed. She also has terrible tear stains and her hair gets matted. I bought her a natural product in chewy tablets for her to help with this. Can you please ask her to just eat them and not to refuse them at times, what is the problem with taking them when asked? Some days she doesn’t eat anything but some biscuits or a chicken jerky, is she having a stomach problem? Thanks, Mayr

Hi Val, a dog named Shep has been missing since Tuesday, June 30th. There is a search team out looking for him, tracking dog etc. I was called in to see if I could help with communication. He was frightened as he was blind and out by himself. A rabbit came into my mind and I followed rabbit’s guidance. I told Shep that a bunny was nearby, very calm and gentle and that this bunny was placing around him a protective shield to help him feel safe. As we continued communication, the anxiety Shep was feeling continued to decrease. Through the bunny’s eyes, I was able to hear from him (the bunny) some landmarks, colours and things of Shep’s location. I was able to dowse for his location and it was in an area that had not yet searched as they didn’t think he would cross a road. When they went to search in this area, a bunny appeared to them on the path. They had not come across a bunny in their searches so far. They also confirmed the landmarks that bunny gave (the colour red on the roof was a red eaves trough and the “glass roof” was shiny tin roof of the building with windows in them). They still have not found Shep and are still searching for him.
Has Shep passed away? Does he wish to be found? Thank you xo
Marybeth

Hi Val. Supplementing my June 18th question above:
Taffy also barks and lunges at two particular dogs on our street: Zelda, a sweet well-trained golden retriever to whom Taffy was “introduced” when they moved in this year, as well as a small black dog to whom she has not been introduced. I just found out the small dog’s name is Ziggy. Ziggy’s owners say that he/she actually likes big dogs. When we pass them during walks, often from across the street, and Taffy barks and lunges, the other two dogs remain calm and quiet. The golden retriever is often trotting along side her mom or dad who is riding a bike (and is somehow attached).
For each individually, does Taffy want to play? Or is it aggression? Or? Why does Taffy do this?
Again, it is very dangerous for me and for her, if I were to fall or let go of the leash. -

STASH UPDATE:
I got an update on Stash from his new owner about 2 weeks ago. They said he would hide in the tiniest of spaces – I don’t think he came out too much. I think he was quite scared. He does eat and use the litter box. I think though he was starting to come out a bit more after that. I would love to know how he is making out. -

Hi Pam,
I’d Love to be that good with animals and behavior! I know though that behavior matters can take multiple sessions. I don’t know what to do either regarding charging the people. Right now I don’t charge for additional sessions with the same animal when it’s involving the same original reason of contact.
