Calling All Questions! If you’d like a chance to get a hot “love” seat in the next call to interact personally with me, then post your question here no later than 24 hours ahead of the class time to assure that they are included on the call. Questions are normally answered in the sequence in which they are posted, so it is best not to wait until the last minute.
Remember to let us know if there are specific topics on which you would like more teaching.
Prior to the Call, I’ll review the questions posted and will choose how to best answer them in the time we have. Come prepared with your questions as this is your time to get the answers you need to move forward in deepening your animal communication skills.
There will be a recording of the call available after the call within 48 hours. However, student interaction can be the catalyst that produces remarkable insights, and your participation is vitally important. Please plan to be on the live call.
Thank you for being a member of the Coaching Club and for sharing your love of animals with all of your fellow students. I’m looking forward to hearing what’s on your mind and discovering how I can best guide you on your journey!
Love,

My puppy Maddie has a few issues….1) occasionally she lifts up her back right leg when she runs and sometimes she doesn’t put her full weight on her foot when standing. I can’t find anything wrong with her knee, hip or foot. I haven’t been able to communicate with her yet. 2) She is very finicky about her food. She’ll eat some for a day or so and then she won’t touch that brand of soft or hard food again. I buy her the fresh chicken dog food in the refrigerator section and she may eat some one day or just ignore it for days! I’m throwing out a lot of food! Should I just buy a regular chicken for her to eat, although I was told that’s not necessarily good for her in the long run. Not enough vitamins etc.

Update on Maddie, she is walking fine. But she is becoming very scared around other dogs, she used to try to meet them, now she runs up my leg or cowers between my legs. Can someone try to reassure her that I won’t let anything bad happen (these are all nice dogs) and that she is missing out on making new friends! Thanks!

As you know, I adopted 2 furry companions from an elderly lady. All 4 seem to have settled nicely now, except for the occasional growl from Stella (which she has been doing before with Ruby anyway). I just want to thank you and say that I do listen to the replays all the time.
Question: The 97 year old lady did not want to stay at Care Centre and was taken back home and wanted the 2 dogs back. I refused to give them back for the sake of the animal’s well-being. I said she could not handle them like carpets, on top of that she was not feeding them properly and they are both afraid to go outside, that means they were inside the house all the time with no exercise. I would like to know if Suzie and Simba are happy to be with us all??? Also if Simba the Labrador is in any pain, he seems to have hip problems. I am taking him to the vet tomorrow 20th Feb. By March 11th, these might be outdated questions??? -

One of our adopted companions is a Cocker Spaniel named Suzie. During my 12 to about 16 years old, my grandmother had exactly the same dog named Diane and I spend a lot of time with them. Every Friday the two of them came to fetch me at the bus stop, my grandmother always said that Diane knew when it was Friday and the time to fetch me. Somewhere during that time, our whole family (10 humans) where split up because of circumstances. My sister and I went to boarding school and only went home every trimester. We even moved to different countries when I was 17+. I have never seen Diane again and all these years I have been wandering what happened to her, now that I have Suzie, I often call her Diane and the question of what happened to her is stronger than ever??? About 50 years later???? Anything you can say about this??? Thanks Ilse

Val, please ask Simba the big Labrador why he is afraid to go outside of the house??? I have to pull him outside, but he has never messed inside the house.

General question: why is it that if one dog gets hurt and cries out, all the other dogs want to attack the one which got hurt???

Val, My girlfriend Randy has 2 cats; Rocky (small black Manx) and Milo (shown). She is seriously considering moving to Mexico in June and does not want to take Milo (she feels he doesn’t want to go either). What does Milo think about this?

I was on a pet sitting job and the dog ReRe was in the stall with Cash the horse. She’s done that before with no problem. This particular day while i was tending to the other horse ReRe ran out the stall crying and her butt tucked under and unable to be consoled for several minutes. I looked her over and saw nothing and she was walking fine after she calmed down. She went to the back door and wanted to go back inside. After 10 minutes of feeling her all over and looking for signs of a reaction if there was any pain she did jump when I pushed on her left shoulder. I notified ReRe ‘s mom and went outside to see about Cash the horse. I had noticed once before he was sifting the ground for poop and eating it. I know dogs do this but I’m not familiar with horses. I also saw ReRe in the stall at an earlier time eating Cash’s poop.
I saw Cash sifting the ground and eating poop again and i got this immediate sense that Cash may have kicked ReRe because he felt she was eating his food. Am i on track with this train of thought? -

oh my, Cash is so thin looking. He looks a bit ill to me. Which leads me to a comment and a question. I worry much about how I will be able to stay emotionally stable when working with animals who have been abused, neglected, mistreated ect ect. Being able to stay in a ‘witness state’ without emotions getting in the way of truly being present has been a challenge for me. How to be strong in heart and empathy without falling into extreme emotionality? What are your insights about pain and suffering for all Hearts concerned?
