–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game?
–> Ready to earn a free private session with Val?
Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.

This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Award (a Laser Coaching half hour private session, value $275, limit 4 per person per year). Here’s how Gold Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold Member to earn a free session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your 30 minute private consultation. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love,
      Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
As usual some short sessions over the day. Tried again some longer sessions before going to bed, but fell asleep in my chair every time.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Talking to my family on a daily basis about taking medicine, stop soiling, stop bullying, be more quiet at night time………

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
More and more often we come to agreements. In the meantime it takes me no more than 5 minutes to administer antibiotics to 8 kittens / young cats every night. And Silver with her liver damage accepts her daily tablet without restricting her.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I am missing 2 of the tame feral cats since a couple of days. I get an impression of poison, but somehow refuse to believe that.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I did and posted together with the first impressions I had during our last call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Trying to use my intuition during daily life. I did not have time to do specific games.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Every day for 5-10 minutes headspace and mindfulness during the day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I connected with my friends dog ‘Schatzi’ again with the purpose to apologize for the rat poison being spread out in his territory (home). He was upset when I told him why the poison was spread out and said ‘why don’t you talk to the rats’ I told him that I don’t know if I can do this and he said ‘you are talking to me’. This made me laugh. He offers his help to hunt the rats. This would be a great job. He said, he does’t feel safe anymore and that his human should have told him about the poison. Schatzi was upset about this also. I apologized and that the his human are very sorry. I told my friend about the session and that her husband needs to apologize to Schatzi and the best thing would be if the whole family gather around him and do the ho’oponopono. They owe him this.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? When connected that it seems pretty easy and that the communication happens very fast. I was also able to feel the dogs upsetness and sadness.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
      none

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Bungee is living in my household and yes, I talk to him everyday.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
      No

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

More meditating again this week as I’ve been slacking off on the reading. Back to 20-30 minutes of sitting in silence. Will I ever get to my goal of an hour? I think this is taking a long time for me because I’m so used to “doing” stuff all day. I’ve never been one for “down time”. Working on just “being” and sitting silently without doing something seems foreign, but I realize that it is a good thing to work towards.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Took a few minutes after feeding my horses to try to merge my breathing with Willow’s to see if anything could connect. Still not real sure how to do this. She stood there looking at me, ears forward, and I told her I was trying to figure out how to communicate with her. I heard “you can do this”. Not sure if it came from her or from me. I would like to think it came from her.

Also tried to tell my former barn kitty again that the only way he can go outside is if he’s attached to me. He’s been pretty adamant recently about wanting to go out, and I really have to watch when I go in and out so he doesn’t scoot outside. He seems happy to have his own home, but there’s just that one thing he would still like to do that I deny him because I want to keep him safe. He either isn’t hearing me or I’m being ignored. 🙂

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I had a few minutes to listen to another lesson in the Beginning course this week. Yay!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Not sure how to “merge” my breathing with the one I’m trying to talk to. Especially if they’re small and take what seem like tiny breaths.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No, just on the call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

No, I just try listening to my intuition on a daily basis now when situations come up, and then see how much of the time it’s correct.

      • 1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Did only a 10 min or so a day, though I have been doing chanting of Buddha Mantras from a CD I recently purchased and I am Loving It. I have played it over and over many times and for hours while I pick up the house and make Pizzelle’s for Christmas. I am being Gentle with myself and with the kitties, esp during this Holiday busy, buzzy time. It puts me in such a deep, aware yet relaxed space. It surly is helping me.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Only with my cats here at home, I have been thinking about that dog I worked with recently and am sending him my attention but have not actually gone back to him with the intent to speak. I have not been in the right space for it. Charlie has a bad scratch on his nose that I am treating. I got right away a visual of him messing with Mr. O’Leary, one of my feral kitties and got scratched by him. I told Charlie that O’Leary is not afraid of you anymore and the bullying you do to him will no longer be tolerated; so to avoid any more scratches you best leave him alone. I got an ‘hmmph’ from Charlie. Tee hee I told KoKo that John is going to be coming this weekend to visit you and he is looking forward to it. I spoke again about my willingness to let her go into Spirit when she is ready. She remains in a limbo place. I am ok with that. It is very interesting to me because I believe she is a mirror for me in many ways in which I need to let go and am not. We are both in a limbo space.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Just that I am feeling an inner calm within and it is nice. I have a long road ahead of me and I am plugging along. More inner work is necessary for me to get out of my own way and really begin to kick into gear. I am intending for big leaps in 2018.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? My challenge is that these past several months since KoKo has been with me I have slipped off my mark or path – which is mind boggling to me because one would think that it would actually enhance my eagerness to practice but it has not. I am in a ‘sitting in quiet’ zone, like KoKo. I feel unconscious energy stirring within me; it just has not fully surfaced into my waking consciousness. Odd, I know. I have been engaging in more creative endeavors and this is good for me. I made some nice gifts for my sisters and will soon begin doing some mixed media collage with some recently purchased supplies. My inner muse wants me to play with paint. I trust this can help me to get some of that stirring quelled and understood.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No, this is the first time I have opened my computer all week. Sorry Bungee! Soon, I promise.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I am always playing around with mini talks with animals and plants I see when I am away from the house. A squirrel darted out in front of my car when driving toward my home in the neighborhood; I had to brake for the little shit. I told him he was lucky I was not driving fast. His response was “I knew I was going to be ok, I wanted to feel a rush of excitement”. I felt some pain from a tree that was being cut down. I expressed my sorrow and wished him well in Spirit. Been doing much better with knowing who is calling me when I hear my phone ring or when a text alert comes – I am better than 50/50. So those are what I have been playing around with.

Pam, Pammie, Pammie Jean, Pamela.... you can call me any of these names.

      1. Did you meditate this week?

My usual 20 minutes minimum to one hour or more except for one day when I had an early appointment. Awareness, mindfulness, listening.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?

I reach out almost every day to Moby, the Great Dane, and Pam’s Koko. Moby feels discouraged and frustrated. He is doing his best to deal but is now losing hope of ever getting better. I visited him twice in person and he is weakening rapidly. I offer him Reiki and “feel my hand” often. He has so much love in his heart but he feels sad. I tell him he will soon be able to stay with his family, running upstairs and down without pain. I try not to share my sadness.

From Koko I feel hope. Staying or leaving does not feel decided yet. A turnaround would be so wonderful!

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

Learning to feel the difference between what is me and what is not is helping a lot. I have someone who comes to me often to unload her hurts and disappointments. When she leaves she feels lighter and happier. I always feel broken and sad for hours or days after. Now I understand her relief does not come from my taking on her pain but just from being listened to with love. I am learning to release her suffering knowing that it will not go back to her if I don’t hold on to it.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I have become aware of a habit I have of always striving for efficiency. I thought it was a “good habit” because, as I perfect ways to do things I don’t particularly enjoy more quickly and effectively, I am able to do them automatically, freeing up time for more interesting things. I’m afraid I’ve been trying to apply this type of thinking to my animal communication practice, hoping to make the work of it automatic so I can just enjoy the doing. I am discovering that my efforts to organize, prioritize and simplify are often counter-productive and that most of my time constraints and deadlines are self-imposed. Better to just do without a plan.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)?

I fully intended to reconnect with Bungee last weekend but didn’t. Manuela kindly gave encouraging feedback on my last impressions.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games this week?

I played the marbles game with my 15-year-old granddaughter yesterday. She was amazing! I did barely okay. I’m encouraged to know it can be done so well.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I meditated once. The day I meditated I made it a point to be aware of my surroundings and use my senses.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
My only intent was to communicate with Gizmo.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I am celebrating my reconnection with Gizmo. A couple of weeks ago, I followed a different format of meditation and protection. Long story short, I did something that disconnected my link with Gizmo. I won’t do that again.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I do not have any questions about communicating with animals. I know in time it will happen.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
No, I did not communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month. I was so concerned with my disconnect with Gizmo and my finals.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, I did not play the Intuition Game, but now that finals are over. I’ll be playing it soon.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes I meditated 4 times this week with guided meditations. 20 minutes each time.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes I communicated with a dog and a bird this week. The bird was on the grass and I asked how are you doing? And the bird said, I am ok, looking for food.” Then flew away. The dog was in a car at the store. He was barking and said he was guarding the vehicle. He was very small and barking loudly. I told him he was a good watch dog and he said, “I know.”

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I have been trying to communicate with a bird for awhile with no luck until this week.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I haven’t been able to get my 8 month old heeled puppy to stop jumping over the wall to get out. She is not interested in negotiations.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Not this week. Hopefully over the holiday weekend.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes I played with the deck of cards. That is easier than the buttons. Less colors.

      Week TWO: January 15, 2018

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I meditated daily from 15 minutes to 2 hours. I meditate on instructions from my meditation teacher but it is quieting the mind, being still and withdrawing attention to the Center of my head.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I followed Val’s instructions to see the world from my daughter’s Doberman puppy, Luchien’s viewpoint. I became one with him for a few minutes really enjoying chewing on the new glow in the dark ball! (Boy is it squishy and lovely to bite, why should I give it up?). After acknowledging him and that feeling I told him there are a few things he doesn’t know about this game. That when he bites me, I might not be able to play the game because my arm would hurt and I might not even be able to drive him to the dog park as my foot might hurt too much. I asked him could he remember this? I had this conversation while walking along the street. I received a feeling that he understood. When he came over and we went to the park, he brought the ball back and sat and dropped it for the first time ever. When he started to get riled up I put my hand on his shoulder and said remember and he calmed down and got this faraway expression like he was “listening”! Also, Val said he was broadcasting quite well! thoughts, feelings and desires were very very clear. I had been overlooking much of his communication as too obvious.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I feel very happy that Luchien and I are more connected and making progress.
I am also excited to report that I just took an intro to Shamanism workshop and will be starting a three week shadow altar. This is an exercise that allows one to take a look at the characteristics that could get in the way of being of service to others and allowing them to leave….

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Val said to try a different track with Shadow so I told him to talk to Boo about their relationship and let me know if they are both happy. I haven’t heard back and not sure that was a very good question from me.
I may try when I’m feeling calm to become one with Shadow…..see the relationship from his point of view….I am also going to do a shamanic clearing of my space and ground myself into earth before the conversation.
I do feel I’m more successful with these conversations sometimes when the animals just “drop in” when I’m attending to other activities like walking or washing dishes.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I just posted above in number 4

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. I played guess the black or red card game about six times and feel that when I randomly guess without thought leaving it up to random rights and wrongs I am about 30 right. 22wrong.
When I try to feel the energy: the red energy is hot and goes in a clockwise direction. The black is neutral and goes counterclockwise I get about the same results but it takes longer….
I would not want to hire me based on these results😥

        Hi Barbara,

I’m excited for your progress with Luchien! I’m also excited to hear any further developments you may get from Shadow and Boo! She’s exhibiting a bit more confidence recently, and I’m curious where that’s coming from. She’s been allowing me to cut off some of her matted fur as long as I take my time and go slowly. That’s something she’s never let me do before. Interesting developments, to be sure.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did not meditate this week. My father-in-law passed away and have been overwhelmed with sadness.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, I did not communicate with any animal this week due to the death in the family. Truth be told, I wasn’t in the mood since I was sad.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Even though there was a death in the family; I did receive a feeling of excitement and celebration.
Gizmo sent me an image of both my father-in-law and her standing side by side. My father-in-law had a huge smile on his face with an expression of “I understand” the love and connection. That was the feeling I had when I received the image. It makes me cry tears of joy because it’s so beautiful.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I’m still struggling with receiving messages. What I mean is; I am receiving messages but they’re very subtle that I’d like them to come in “words” and not images. Of course, I say this selfishly and need to learn patience. Also, I recently started using my imagination when I started practicing this year; therefore, I’m impatient. Nonetheless, sticking to it since I should be celebrating the little bits of images and feelings I receive rather than not celebrating anything.
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I did not; however, the moment I opened up the Club Member Forum; and looked at Shadow. I received an overwhelming feeling of tranquility which allowed me to breath.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
No, I did not play the Intuition Game. I’m stuck in “my head” with the death of my father-in-law and allowing myself to feel sad. I know he’s in a beautiful place but will miss him physically.

There was not a current place to post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes I attended a shamanic techniques class and we meditated 8 times over the weekend to drumming.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. Connected with spirit animals. Went on journeys with them to the Akashic records.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Met a new power animal. A skunk named jewel who said to stay on my path. I was able to make myself small and go inside my body and look around. I removed a couple energy blocks and had an amazing experience.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. I printed the picture and will communicate with the cat.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I did not have time this week.

      WEEK THREE: Barb Grout
      JANUARY 20-26
I am posting EVERY Tuesday. This is my third post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I meditated with the stress reducer meditation two times. I also did my meditation practice between one to two hours per day.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I connected with Max a black and white Shepard mix who lives in Wisconsin. My friend who owns him says he barks constantly ever since Cooper, a red healer mix joined the Family. He told me he wanted to be “heard” and he has a big job. I told him it hurt his person’s ears after acknowledging him for his job. Then I told his owner that he might want her acknowledment (not me but intuition saying this) and to put her hand on his shoulder and thank him.
Mariah, their person says Max barking less! Wow!!!! Now the next step is to connect with Cooper, the younger dog because he barks too 😊.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Becoming the animal and seeing from their perspective.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
A friend of mine’s cat was missing when she returned from a trip. The cat sitter said Aslan, the cat (a pure bred Absinnian) was there the last time the sitter was there….
I am not sure the cat is in spirit but am finding it difficult to sense her.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I tried to ask Shadow if he had a discussion with Boo about attacking her but I did not receive an answer, so I did not post it.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I played the red/black card game and when I “got it” which was only one game out of seven, it was a really different feeling 👏. It was not sensing the energy of the card but it was I KNOW what it is! It was amazing! I got 26 out of 30 correct that time. My usual is about 26 out of 52.
