–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
The more I practice communicating with animals, the more it seemed like I am meditating all the time! It is a flowing connection.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes! Every day! See my posts for December.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am learning to wait quietly without a need to talk every second.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? The ones physically present seem much harder to connect with.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. On the Saturday call. Posted in my December Accountability instead of on Missy’s page as Margaret gave feedback during the call.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I have been doing jigsaw puzzles and seem to be able to pick many of the pieces that fit together immediately.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?   I spent about 2 hours in total meditating.
      I did Val’s Grounding Meditation /Gratitude Meditations /Tapping Meditation

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I communicated with a dog named Lewis. His pet parent was thinking about getting a puppy but was concerned how Lewis would feel about it. Lewis was surprised to hear this and wasn’t sure what this would meander him. I explained that his “Dad” wanted another dog so Lewis would have some company. I also explained that his Dad was filled with so much love to give that he had more than enough to share between Lewis and another dog. Lewis wanted some time to think about this.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate that I have had some moments of clarity and deeper understanding of my own abilities this week.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was that I worked too many hours at my job and this left me drained and tiredv whic made it hard to focus.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results. Yes, I did and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
There was a huge spider (Huntsman) in my living room by the door a few days ago. He was really big and scary looking but these types of spiders are harmless. He shared with me that he likes the reaction humans have when they see him and that I should call him “Mac”. The next morning I found him inside a glass cabinet in my kitchen but he didn’t want to talk. The next day he was by my bathroom door. I decided to play a guessing game about where he would be the next morning. I guessed he would be on another wall in my house. I didn’t see him but I could feel and sense he was nearby watching me and that he was amused I couldn’t see him.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Some short sessions spread over the day, mostly centering and grounding.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Sophie is now living in the kitchen, because I needed the bedroom for my 14 year old feral cat Blacky, who had a surgery to remove a huge tumor on her leg. Now Sophie shows interest to explore the kennel, but last time she went outside, without telling me, Pascal nearly got her. I could interfere in the last moment. So a few days ago, when she was thinking of going outside, I told her to remember the big dog who is living in the kennel and she should better wait until the weekend when I am home and we can explore the kennel together. Then I can keep the dog under control when she gets afraid, which triggers Pascal. Since then she is looking outside, but has not tried to go into the kennel.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That I am making baby steps in the right direction with Pascal.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

How to get the attention of an animal who is focused on a behaviour that I want to stop.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Only during last week’s call. When I asked Missy what she likes to do she said: I love to watch my mom.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I did again the parking lot game, imagining that a slot will open right when I come looking for it. This works great in 90% of the cases.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Every night but one I sat listening to the silence only interrupted by the furnace running, but that soon becomes part of the silence. 1 night I listened to Ananda Bosman’s cd. Time involved 20 -45 minutes each night.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

“My” deer have been very visible this week. One evening I went out to feed the horses, my dog Ginger was with me. One of them was fairly close out in the hay field. She saw us and started to turn and run, but then didn’t and came back. I was very still, sending greetings and messages that we meant her no harm. Ginger barked softly but stopped when I said “no”. Then the other 2 came to join her and they looked like they were having a discussion about whether to stay or go. Pretty soon one of them pranced across the field to the woods, the other 2 following.

The next morning Ginger and I were on our morning walk. As we came over the hill, I saw 3 beautiful faces at the tree line at the bottom of the hill watching us. I stopped and offered the same greeting as before. Then I took Ginger in a different direction so as not to frighten them away. I looked back as we were walking away from them, and just like when you’re playing with horses, (approach and retreat) they were coming up the hill to see where we were going. I smiled to myself and kept walking. When I looked back one last time, they turned around and left. Next morning, same basic scenario, only one of them crossed the hay field to the other woods, the other two followed not far behind. Again, I took a different direction with Ginger, watching them watch us from the trees. I’m so happy they’re staying close around where they’re relatively safe.

Also, I’m trying to connect with the little dog (Oso) that’s staying with us for 16 more sleeps while his mom is away. He’s absolutely precious, and so expressive. I know he’s talking to me all the time, I’m trying to allow his messages to get through to me. How fun would that be! 🙂

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That my deer are staying close to my house where they are relatively safe this time of year.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Getting my “monkey mind” out of the way so their messages can get through!!

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I offered Missy a greeting as I was getting ready to post this, but got distracted with something else.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No, haven’t had time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I did the meditation with Val on the Q&A call and two of her other meditations this week. Approx 45mins in total.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I connected with a cat whose person said he was out of sorts. He showed me an image of a huge crane and a big whole in the ground, filled with rubbish. He felt upset about this. I asked if the noise bothered him and got that it didn’t, but felt a vibration below the floor that did. I mentioned this to his person and was told that she had just ripped out a cupboard under the stairs, which her cat kept looking at. She said the pipes and dehumidifier under the stairs could be vibrating. I asked the cat to go to her person and Mew when she felt scared, so her person could calm her. I also connected with a house piggy, who went missing last year. I felt that he had passed and sensed a strong bond with his person. He told me that they were soul family and that he would always be around her. I asked how he passed and sensed that he was chased and scared by a bigger animal – dog or fox (unclear which) and that he hid, but died of fright. I didn’t pass this last bit on, as I’m still not confident in trusting everything that I’m getting.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I feel I had a bit of a breakthrough this week whilst connecting with the house pig. When doing the intuition card game I sense if the card is red by seeing where I feel the answer in my body, a bit like a barometer. As I wasn’t confident with some of the information I got I tried the same technique to verify if the answer I got felt true or false. I seemed to pick up a yes to the left of my chest and a no, more towards the right. Unfortunately I had no feedback on that communication.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Finding time to practice and meditate more.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. I tried to connect during the Q&A call last week. I was very tired at the time though. I sensed a strong blue colour around Missy and a sense of her being very comfortable, confident and at ease with herself. I had a sudden sense of my alsation, Marley, from spirit jumping into my thoughts, but as I tried to focus my attention I seemed to see Daisy, but couldn’t connect with any of the animals after that.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?No. Limited time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated by focusing on my breathing briefly. It was not for long.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I communicated with my cats. I don’t know if they always understood or not. I know sometimes they did. Perhaps they always did and it just seemed like they didn’t or might not have “heard”/understood me sometimes.
I also did with Missy of course and found out about why meditating is so important to her and some other things Margaret confirmed.
I have also communicated with a couple of dogs in South Africa, but don’t remember if that was in this posts time frame (December 8-December 14).

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing in particular.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing in particular.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I am as I write this. I greeted Missy and she head butted my chin one time. Then she said to come closer because she had something to tell me. She told me to be peaceful and not worry so much and that a lot of things I worry about aren’t worth worrying about. I asked Missy how to not worry. She said, “Meditation.” She also said to either do something to alter my state of consciousness and connect with my higher self, or she said specifically to burn sage. I’ve burned sage once and did get into an altered state of consciousness. She didn’t have much else to say and might have had something else to do. As I was thanking Missy for sharing her wisdom with me and telling me things to help myself, she told me something about my cats which is good to know. We then said our good byes.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I communicated with Barb G.’s dog, Priscilla. I posted in the communication section for Priscilla what transpired.

Looks like this discussion thread may have been playing hide and seek this week.

With the new online Animal Teacher Handout new animals, sometimes the other discussion go to the second or third page of discussion listings. And there have been some system issues which we thought were separate from this issue.

An easy way to find the latest Accountability posting thread is to use the button in the right menu column.

Or use the Search field at the top of the right menu and enter Accountability.

This week I will go through the posts for “Accountability … December 1-7” which some of you used as well as the “where is it post and copy your posts into the correct discussion thread and give you credit for being accountable.

Practice Accountability And Earn BOnus Session with VAL – December 8-14, 2018

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? 5-20 minutes silent sitting, mindfulness in my doing and being 2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I took a dog to the vet and the vet gave him a poor diagnose. As I wanted to get sad and feel sorry for him while he was sitting on the passenger seat looking outside, I connected with him and he said:”Don’t be sad. I had a good life. I am okay. Enjoy life.” My sadness vanished. 3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? How fastly I can connect with animals and feel and sense their ailment. I know that the dog Eddie had some growth in his rectal area and mucus/liquid in the lungs. These were pretty much what the vet diagnosed after the x-ray. 4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None 5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Haven’t done it yet. 6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Didn’t think about it.

ACCOUNTABILITY REPORT FOR DECEMBER 8 – DECEMBER 14

      1. MEDITATION TYPES, TIMES

One missed day; otherwise, 10-35 minutes silent sitting usually followed by a Course 1 meditation either listened to or from memory.

      2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

Again tried to time travel with Shoshana about how her paw was injured in January. The only information that seemed true was that I felt and mentally saw bushes coming up from my hands. There are lines of bushes around the foundations of some houses around mine (as well as mine).

What seemed like my making up a story was imagining that Starlon (don’t know his real name or if he has one) may have chased and fought her (he’s been around from before she was born and I’ve seen him chasing and fighting male cats), that she may have squeezed under the wooden gate of the fence of the house next door before the new owner moved in (I’ve seen cats do that), and that Starlon bit her left back paw when she was in the process of slipping under.

Shoshana didn’t seem interested in this discussion because her paw felt fine, she was okay with being inside, and Starlon disappeared after the incident (I saw him a month or two ago at a house around the corner).

Then I tried to find out why she has the daily or oftener yipping sessions if she doesn’t have bad dreams about this (she didn’t cry out until months afterwards) and if she doesn’t have a UTI. I have to try to focus with her on her missing littermate sister.

      3. CELEBRATE

Sometimes finding it easy to sit still for twenty minutes.

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

      a. My male cat, Raven Raffaele, wants so much attention. When I go to sit or eat at the north-facing table, he jumps there to be brushed. When I’m at the computer at the east-facing table, he’s there to be petted or at least sit close to the keyboard. After a few minutes, he gets the idea that I’m otherwise occupied, so he jumps down–and that makes me feel guilty. He’s so considerate: at night when I turn around in bed, he’s the only kitty who jumps over me so we’re again together. The others dig their claws into my legs or whatever because I’ve disturbed them.

      b. Also guilts about the male orange cat who hangs around wanting food. If I put out a bowl of food for him separate from the one for Rosalie, he might do as Starlon used to do to Shoshana when she was an outdoor cat: he’d move to her bowl, nudge her away, eat up her food, and then go back to finish the food in his bowl. Bad enough to be paying over $60/month for Rosalie’s food when she still runs away from me after ten months of visiting.

      c. At least two other cats (Yossi and often Lily-Grace) imitate Julie-Belle in pooing on the bathroom floor instead of in the litter box. I so resent having to clean up after them as well as do the regular scooping and scrubbing up after their upchucks, etc. Julie-Belle eats too much too fast; I don’t know what the others’ problems are besides hairballs.

      FAT COMMUNICATION

      INTUITION GAMES

      a. Guesses in everyday living like whether a piece of mail will arrive, a traffic light will turn, what a character will say next in a tv episode, what time it is when I wake up at night. Didn’t do well on the last today: I got up thinking it was 6:30 on my analog clock; a few minutes later, saw on the kitchen clock that it was 1:30 am.

      b. Got 10/10 wrong with the die cube. Irritated because Raven was hanging over me?
