–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.

This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn a free session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love,
      Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I continue to practice my meditation on light and sound staying centered in my head daily. Mornings 30-60 minutes. Evenings: 30 minutes

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with many animals this week. The most validation I received when a friend told me her 4 year old female cat was not getting along with her brother who was born in the same litter. He has bonded with another older male cat in her “family” I first received wave after wave of intense sadness from
Indigo (her female cat). I thought this is totally wrong but then I heard she misses her mother who disappeared in the woods one night. I told my friend and she said it makes sense because Indigo is all alone now that the other two cats have bonded and ignore her. Indigo and the mother cat were very close.
I also tried connecting with the oversoul of moles because my backyard has ALOT of tunnels. I asked him to talk with the ones who live in my yard and let them know that it is not safe here as they are creating unstable conditions for the tree roots. I tried talking to the moles that live here and all I got was:…too busy…go away. We don’t care. We have our jobs.”
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am feeling more confidant, the more validation I receive from my practice clients.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Finding enough time to practice. I am going to create a daily schedule so I can fit it in.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No. I haven’t heard if there is a new one yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. Continuing with guessing card colors. I am going to see if I can play once a day this week as it has gone back down to 50% when I only play 3 or 4 times.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? – I mediate/self-reiki daily for 15-30 minutes daily.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? – connected with my dog quite a bit this week besides some other animals and plants because she was going to a boarding kennel, so I prepared her what is going to happen and I connected with her while she was boarded. When she as at a vet’s office getting acupuncture, I connected with her in heart space and she was quite calm and kept all her needles which was first time.

If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. – I haven’t communicated with Roxy since I communicated with her in the beginning of the month. For what I’m trying to accomplish with my communication journey, I felt it is better to work with other animals.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I spent approximately 1 hour meditating this week. I did Val’s Grounding Meditation, Tapping Meditation, and Destiny Meditation.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I was at the zoo and tried to communicate with some of the elephants. I was unsuccessful as they were not interested in communicating. It was like they were in a world of their own but I thought that could have been because there were a lot of children making a lot of noise close to the enclosure. When I tried to communicate with a few other animals at the zoo I had the same experience, so it might have been me trying to hard or not being focused enough.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I would like to celebrate that I got a years membership at the zoo close to my home. I will be able to go to the zoo anytime to keep practice communicating with the animals there.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was that I felt a bit discouraged when I tried to communicate with the zoo animals and they did not respond.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Since I didn’t see a FAT for September yet, I took great pleasure in checking in with Roxy again and posted my results.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I used a deck of animal cards, thought of an animal (Parrot) and then pulled out a card and it was a swan. The second card, I thought of a dog and when I pulled out the card, it was a parrot.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Listened to Ananda Bosman 1 nite, the rest sat in silence for as long as I could stay in the “zone”.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Not really, I’ve just been trying to remain present, in the moment, and open to whatever might be coming through. I guess I did try to communicate to Ginger that she needs to drink more water. She used to drink quite a bit while Cooper was here, now I rarely see her drink, and some days go by without me needing to fill up the water bowl at all. A couple of times after I told her she needs to drink more water, she went to the bowl and drank some. Yay!

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing specific.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Not sure how to get Ginger to drink more water consistently like she used to.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes mindful meditation or silent sitting, walking meditation.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with a dog that I walk on regular basis. He is sick since a while. It got so bad that he was laying on my chest after the walk like a baby and did not move. I asked him what is hurting. He said his head is hurting, his throat and that he is not feeling so well overall. He feels tired and weak. I could swear he was feverish. I thought, this is enough and I need to tell the owner which I did. I told them they need to go to the vet before they move back to Florida. He has fever and is not feeling well. The dog got steroids and antibiotics. Three days later, I saw him and he was so much better. I am also glad that the vet recommended for him to wear a harness. Now, he has a beautiful harness.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I need to trust my ability more.So happy that I could help Bailey to be taken to the vet next day.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Time flies and I didn’t check.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I’ve done a feeling body meditation (30mins), 2 guided meditations (30mins), a 20min ‘stillness’ meditation and Val’s 3 minute meditation.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I communicated with a dog in spirit. His human would like to get another dog, but her connection to this one was so strong that when he passed over she became extremely allergic to dogs. He was also very possessive of her. When I, sensitively explained the situation to him and reassured him that she wouldn’t be replacing him he was happy to let her. He said her allergies were related to her own guilt about wanting another dog and to let that guilt go. He also said he would return to her himself in the future and that she would know him.
I also connected with a cat, who told me that he was there to protect his human, as she didn’t geound and protect herself enough.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
After a really good disxussion in the facebook forum, I experimented with a different way to connect. Instead of my usual trying to think of questions and writing them down, I just connected in consciousness and let the conversation flow, which felt so much more interesting.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I still struggle connecting with Daisy. She’s awoken in fear twice this week and shot across to the other side of the bed, shaking. I’m not sure if she’s seen something or had a nightmare. I would love to be able to communicate with her to find out more.
I still struggle to identify what are my rhoughts and what thoughts are coming from the animal. Roxy told me that’s my ego getting in the way. How can I stop that?
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I’ve posted the discussion in the forum.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes. How do I receive information? I sometimes get very quick images, sometimes a ‘knowing,’ often I feel things in my body e.g. aches or pains in a certain area. The most frequent, but probably the most unreliable messages I get come into my head as thoughts, though occasionally I get an accent with it.

      1. MEDITATION: TYPE, TIMES

Again, only kirtan kriya or a Course 1 meditation most days. Found the Joel Levey CD I misplaced and hope it has a 20-minute meditation.

      2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE

      a. Yossi, my cat who spends much of her time on the tables on the screened porch, started calling out at about 10:30 one night. When I turned on the porch and outdoor lights, I saw she was staring sometimes above the master bath window that looks out on the porch and sometimes (right-angle turn) above the door with the pet door that opens onto the porch. There was nothing there that I could see then or when I went onto the porch or when I used the other door and went onto the patio and looked around on that and into the porch. Meanwhile, Yossi continued staring.

This was repeated twice more that night with no explanation. I failed to connect with Yossi to learn what she was experiencing. Then I got nervous that someone with a flashlight or a laser pointer was teasing her though we live in a “safest” neighborhood in the city. As far as I know, the incident hasn’t been repeated.

      b. Shoshana, the cat who became an indoor cat after I fed her three to four times a day outside for almost three years, has yipping spells day and night when she’s sleeping alone. I try to connect with her to see if her cries are reliving the attack and paw injury she received that caused her to become an indoor cat.

      c. Rosalie the Lorelei, the outdoor cat who showed up on the patio two weeks after Shoshana came inside, hasn’t visited for two days. She makes her presence known by persistent, desperate cries morning and evening for food; she then eats and returns to a semi-wild, chain-linked drainage area behind the house across the street. However, it’s been two days that she hasn’t come. I haven’t been able to connect with her either.

      d. I should start visiting (later this fall when other business is settled) the Cameron Park Zoo, which is about a 15-minute, easy drive. It’s a 52-acre, natural habitat zoo with a 4.6/5.0 Google rating. Maybe I can connect with someone there.

      3. CELEBRATE

I appreciated the FB discussion over Labor Day Weekend about animal communication techniques and examples.

      4. CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS

Failure to connect with the above three cats. Probably that’s due to my not getting sufficiently centered and following the steps to connect: attune, synchronize breathing, giving and receiving, merging hearts and minds, recognizing each other on a deep level. Actually, each step seems an intensification of the previous one.

I am too anxious about my other major project and about a tour of Ireland, which is an interruption requiring lots of preparation for the visit plus rearranging the study space for when I return.

      5. FAT COMMUNICATION

No September FAT yet; didn’t want to burden Roxy and Margaret yet again.

      6. INTUITION GAMES, RESULTS

Just to fill this section, I took out the die cube again. Set the intention of guessing odd/even 8 of 10 times; did 7 of 10 correctly. Tried to perceive if a correct guess felt different from an incorrect one. Seemed to get that my left hand might signal odd and right, even when the die dropped. That worked for the last four tries, which were correct.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I did meditate. I focused on breathing through my abdomen a little bit. Also, for about 20 minutes I meditated to a guided hypnosis meditation for finding one’s purpose in life.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did with my cats. I asked them questions and told them things, but I don’t know that I always got a reply which leads me to wondering if they got the message.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing in particular.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I introduced myself and Roxy remembered me. He asked me how I am. I told him I’m hoping to still make it in the animal communication business. He said for me to just talk to animals.
I asked him what he’s doing and he said he was bathing. I asked him what’s new. He said not much, but that his urinary tract system is in check and his infection is gone. He said it was a bit of a battle.
I asked him when the last time was that he went (sneaked) outside. He said it was last week. He said, “I’ve been a good boy.”
After a minute or so, he told me he was ready to take a nap. Then after the word, “heat,” came to me, I started to wonder if he was planning to take a nap in the sun. So, I asked him if that is what he is planning to do. He confirmed that it is. He sent me a sensation of how it felt for him and an image of where it felt really good. He sent me an image of him lying in the sun.
He invited me to take a nap in the sun with him. I told him I’d love to but that I had things to do now, but that I’d love to another time. He invited me to take a nap in the sun with him anytime it’s sunny and he’s taking a nap in it. I thanked him. He’s so sweet!
We said our goodbyes and said that we’d connect again, which we’re both looking forward to.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I played the deck of cards game. Red vs. white: I got ten right out of 26.For the face vs. no face I got nine right out of 13. For what suit I got one right out of ten.
I was a bit off this morning.
