Moderator–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn a free private session with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.
This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Award (a Laser Coaching half hour private session, value $275, limit 4 per person per year). Here’s how Gold Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your 30 minute private consultation. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes…I’ve been working a lot so my meditation time does not seem very productive. I loose focus or never get focused. I am dog sitting a dog who is living at my home with me and it changes the energy. I try every day though the same meditation of sitting in the center of my head.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Two Ferrets who had French names I couldn’t write down. 1. He is loosing weight. I checked in with his emotional and he seems depressed. He wants more nurturing time with his person. He is lonely and trying to figure out how to be good at being a domesticated animal and feels he is failing. He misses somebody. 2. This one has now left the body. He is very happy as he felt he served his purpose of helping his owner learn to love. He is with the oversoul of ferrets and very busy. She wanted to tell him she loved him and whether he would be returning soon. He already knew that but said thank you and no he was too busy in the spirit world but he was available to listen to her whenever she wanted to talk to him. She wanted help with training the new baby ferret to be as nice as he was and he said that he could not be replaced but she could talk to an animal communicator about it! 😊3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I am over halfway through the book Val wanted me to read: The Power of Focusing despite my heavy work schedule.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Not enough time to practice every day.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. I’ll communicate with Cinders again soon and will post it.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Still trying to figure out whether I should ask what color card it is or feel what color. Or just know it. I keep trying each way.

Yes, I did meditate about 2 ½ hours this week. I did Vals Grounding Meditation x2 / Inner Peace Meditation / Relaxation and Focus Meditation2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I was out for a walk and there was a man walking his dog. The dog stopped in his tracks as I made a connection with him and told me ” My leg hurts but even so I am not afraid to roll around in the dirt”. Then he rolled around on his back and his human person was still trying to get him to walk. The dog was laughing about it because he said I should roll around in the dirt with him, since I understood. Then he got up, shook himself off and the man and his dog walked off. Just before they walked off I said hello to the man and told him it looks like your dog was really enjoying himself and the man said he never did that before.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I want to celebrate that I was able to experience the live monthly call and got so many golden nuggets which I posted in the forum.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The challenge I had this week was trying to make a connection with my cat Tiki. Sometimes he treats me as though I am invisible and I was unsuccessful in connecting with him to find out why5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes, I did and posted my results.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I picked two animal cards out of a deck and both times thought it was some kind of a bird but got it wrong. -

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week?
My usual every morning one hour give or take.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?
Connected with an owl who perched in branches almost directly over my head during yesterday’s outdoor meditation. No two-way conversation, although I asked her why she was bobbing and weaving. She kept perching closer and closer. Her mate flew down a few feet from my face but Aspen barked at him and he distanced himself.
Yesterday I found a tiny wren with her head caught in the bird feeder. I think she had been there a long time before I realized she was no longer moving. When I freed her she was trembling all over and her neck was too weak to hold up her head. The right side of her face was swollen like she had mumps. The swelling could have been caused by her ordeal or it might have pre-existed causing her to become trapped. She drank water from a dropper and one drop of colloidal silver (in case the swelling was from infection.) I warmed her in my hands and offered Reiki until she stopped trembling. Then I fed her millet seeds, one at a time, with tweezers. It was the only seed she would eat and her weak neck did not allow her to self-feed. She cracked the seeds and spit out the shells. Eventually she stopped eating and went to sleep. Come bedtime I made her a nest in a box of tissues in the rescue cage.
This morning she was still asleep when I went out to meditate so I woke her up and held her while we listened to the bird sounds. When I put her back in the cage she was holding her head up normally and clinging to the window-side of the cage, so I released her. I’m almost certain she’s the one I saw at the feeder a few minutes later because she was eating one seed at a time and pausing to look at me watching her through the window. That felt like communication!
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
That I feel myself opening to what I feel and hear unfiltered by what I want or expect.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
One of my biggest challenges is not leaping to conclusions based on what I think I know. In the same vein, I’m learning to catch myself when I’m tempted to assign meaning to every little thing.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)?
Not since Saturday’s Q & A. I’ve been listening to Val’s recordings so more focused on gathering insights than on practicing.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Not this week. My mind has been elsewhere.

The usual short sessions spread over the day. Additionally, I did 2 times a 20 min session during lunch break.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Only to my own critters.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
No celebration.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
The time constraints are getting worse now that I have to walk the dogs at night for a longer time. Before Pascal regained his confidence and subsequently started hunting cats, I just let them out on their own. Genie always stays in our garden, when she is without leash and Pascal was all over the town.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
No time, too tired.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Tried color guessing, which never did work and is not improving either. But also my game of guessing which lift is going to stop on my floor has not been working well anymore.5/12

Yes, still with Ananda Bosman’s S'”OM”A cd. Also, at Chigusa’s instruction, I have changed the meditation/visualization with Cooper and Jewell to ask for help in separating the energies which are already entwined, transmuting them into pure Love and Light, and returning them to their rightful places. She said she felt a shift in Cooper after I did this the first time, so hopefully this will be successful. I will continue with this. (BTW, his appetite, which has been MIA for quite a while, is back with a vengeance! This is a GOOD thing!)
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I always try to remain open for anything that might come to me from any of the non-human beings in my life. This week it was a beautiful deer, my bunnies, squirrels, and birds on my property. No messages.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Celebrating Cooper’s improvements and the help I’m receiving with him.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Got a busy signal on our call. Haven’t had time to try again.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Haven’t had time for this.

2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? yes my Ming Ming passed on to me his desire to have a peaceful fearless death. He laid in the middle on the living area on the shag rug napping a lot and moving off the rug i think to cool down or stretch himself then back to the rug. He was relaxed and none of the other cats bothered him. Towards the end he would crawl under the sofa for a bit but he’d always come back out to lie on the rug.I sensed he had a fearful death at one point as he lie there helpless and it didn’t end well. This time he could relax and just do the process and i suppose i was the right person to provide that for him…..still not happy about it but i accepted it before he passed and did the process with him. I watched the moment his soul left his body.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? got some clarity on Ming Mings passing.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? none

Platinum Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? A tiny bit, unless what I did yesterday would be considered meditating. I was feeling very anxious and I sat down and then closed my eyes and calmed down. I experienced a strange feeling where it seemed like the things I was anxious about were bad and overwhelming. It felt like there were dark forces, too. Then after a while I felt better and a sort of tingling or something in my body and then better again. It was like the dark forces had been removed.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. I told Serenity my thoughts regarding flea prevention and my feelings. She understood I think. I’ve also talked to Hawkeye about the approach he needs to take with Serenity at times, and I think he’s starting to understand.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Hawkeye seems to be understanding me better or responding better.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I still don’t know how to know if an animal receives my message or not when he/she doesn’t respond or doesn’t respond in a way that I know he/she is responding.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I communicated with Cinders. It wasn’t for long, because shortly after our conversation started she wanted to play. During our conversation I asked her if she ever hangs out with her human mom from her previous life or Seamus. She said, “Yes! All the time! Well, maybe not all the time, but quite a lot.” She also said she plays with Seamus and Seamus can see her. I read or heard somewhere that cats can see spirits. So, it’s natural that Seamus can see Cinders. It seems like there might have been a little more to the conversation even though it was short, but I don’t remember for sure at the moment. I wanted to have a conversation without writing at the same time, but maybe writing at the same time is better. Anyway, Cinders said she was going to go to play. I said, “Bye, Cinders.”
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Well, before I even asked Serenity to tell me a joke- when I was about to ask her but the thought to was still in my head- I got something about a bucket of something green dropping from a doorway (I guess if the door had been opened). I’m not sure if she was telling me that or if that was my ego. When I asked Serenity to tell me a joke, she said she was busy or sleeping or something. I asked Hawkeye if he could tell me a joke. He said something about two humans and a fart (one of them passed gas). I don’t know what else there was to the joke though. Before that he gave me images or two peanuts and two cats (or maybe some other animal). I think maybe the joke could be with two peanuts, two cats, or two humans (or maybe two of something else).

Inactive Member1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
~15-20 minutes daily minus two days. Kirtan kriya, Val’s Course 1 (will be more specific for next week–need to list all the meditation options available to me).
2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE
ATCC-wise, this week was about Lily-Grace and her mats. Connecting with her a few times, the longest for 15 minutes, I met only a wall of resistance as in “I don’t want to talk about it.”
After the mats were removed, I was bored with the topic and grateful she was physically affectionate: head rubbing, licking, lying on my forearm on the table while I was watching a film on the Mac, lying beside me to sleep at pillow level.
3. & 4. CELEBRATE + CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS
Lily-Grace’s experienced pet sitter came to our house Tuesday to try to remove the mats. Usually, the gentle cat protests what she doesn’t like a with whimper or two; that morning she became a feline fighting machine. The pet sitter sighed that we’d traumatized her, so maybe she needed sedation for de-matting. As I re-entered the front door after seeing the pet sitter out, Lily-Grace greeted and licked me as if she hadn’t been in recent distress.
Thursday morning, being in a hospital environment with two vet-techs working on her, Lily-Grace–un-sedated–allowed the procedure. A vet-tech told me, though, that she strongly protested being turned on her back so her front could be checked for mats (fortunately, there were none).
I can celebrate that Lily-Grace was relieved of the mats with apparently no hard feelings towards anyone. But I failed the challenge of communicating with her about them; I still need to try to ask her about her experience at the vet’s. And there is one mat that the vet-techs missed, so the challenge of its removal remains with me.
5. FAT COMMUNICATION
I’ll reach out to Cinders later today or definitely next week.
6. INTUITION GAMES, RESULTS
(a) I didn’t get back to the dice as expected, but have real-life incidents to relate. When I receive two Netflix DVD mailers the same day, I try to guess which holds the film I want to see first. Of the three tries last week and this, two were correct.
(b) Yesterday (Th 7/19), I planned to ask the mail carrier if he wanted a bottle of water. Because there are several carriers, male and female, the delivery time ranges from 10:30 to 5:30. The later time may be due to the record-breaking 105-109-degree temperatures we’re having this week. After lunch, I went from the living room/study to the bedroom to read (followed by a few cats, of course).
After an hour or so, I wondered whether I’d turned off the ceiling fan in the living room, so I went to check. While there, I opened the front door to see if the mail had come (sometimes it’s stuck in the slot so it doesn’t fall through to the floor) just as the mail carrier came up the steps. Yes, he appreciated the refrigerated water.
(c) Yesterday, mat-removal day, I left Lily-Grace at the vet’s because if sedated, she wouldn’t be ready for pick-up until late afternoon. As long as she was there, I asked if she could be given her annual wellness exam with vaccinations (usually due in September). After mat-removal, a vet-tech telephoned to tell me the veterinarian would examine Lily-Grace after he finished a surgery. Wanting to get her home and the car in the garage before the temperature soared, I drove to the hospital intending to pick her up and not wait for her exam. But I arrived about two minutes after her exam was done and before the vet-tech could call me.
