Moderator–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn a free private session with Val? Here’s how to do do both:
One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listen below.
This Game is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.
NOTE: Gold Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Award (a Laser Coaching half hour private session, value $275, limit 4 per person per year). Here’s how Gold Members earn their sessions:
1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.
2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a laser session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold Member to earn a free session with Val.)
3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule your 30 minute private consultation. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.
MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
1. Serena, a ferret, who just had an animal friend in her household pass away. She wishes for her guardian to play and listen to her more in this time of grieving.
2. Groucho, the dog. His guardian wonders if Groucho still likes his job as a therapy dog. He said yes but he wanted time to play and move his body more.
3. Smudge who told me he was bored because his person would not let him outside anymore as he loves to wander. He bites people who try to pat him. He has been re-homed to a place where he can wander a lot.
4. Luchien keeps biting a spot on his side and has bit the hair away. I asked why and he said he was bored. I bought him a new toy which seems to help a little.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? My graduation from a four month long class I have been taking on animal communication and healing.

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, I’ve meditated every day and as I am on vacation I’ve been able to meditate in the mornings as opposed to the afternoon or night after work and it has made a huge difference for me.2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes, I connected with my sister’s in law dog. I tried connecting with him while we were both in the same room. I thought it was going to be hard but was kind of easy. I must say though, that it was only the 2 of us in the room and the house was very quiete. It is usually a noisy place so I wouldn’t know how easy it would be to connect under normal circumstances.3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I’m meditating every day and it is helping me to say grounded, feel more positive, relaxed and aware.4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Still wanting to figure out how to get the animal’s physical sensations in my own body.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
No, I’m on vacation in the U.S visiting family, so I haven’t been able to practice a lot.6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Not this week.

Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I spent a total of about 2 hours meditating. The meditations I did were: Guided Sleep Meditation / Tapping Meditation x 2 / Val’s Soft Focus Meditation
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. I was asked to connect with a cat who seemed to be disconnected from her family. When I connected with her, she told me she didn’t want to share her person “Mom” with anyone else. She explained her Mom has been giving her attention elsewhere and her energy has been stressful and distracted. I assured her that her Mom was going through an adjustment in her living arrangements but still loves her very much. I also let her know that I would pass on what she told me to her Mom.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I want to celebrate that I have set aside and scheduled a designated time each week in which I will be able to devote into going deeper with my studies of animal communication.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Work/Life balance was challenging as I struggled to find the time to spend studying. I did however (as stated in my answer to question 3 celebrating my journey) realize that this challenge is not going away anytime soon, so I have to find a solution.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I did and posted my results.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did. Before I opened my back door at home, I tuned in to guess just how many birds (White Parrots) were outside in the tree at the time. I guessed that there were 12. When I opened the door, I counted 11 at first and then noticed that there was one more bird (Not a white parrot, but instead was a black and white bird).

Platinum Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I did some short sessions during each day – grounding and centering2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Mogli, one of my feral cats had babies again last Sunday. She delivered in plain view on my veranda, right in front of the entrance door. I asked her to relax a while and then to take the babies to a safe place. She told me she delivers in an open space for me to see the babies. In the afternoon, when I checked again, they were gone.
I keep talking to Pascal. He is fixed on chasing specific feral cats. So far we are not really making progress. I can’t let him out on his own anymore, because as soon as he is out of the door, he starts searching for cats. On top, he slips out of every harness and collar(even, when they are very tight around his neck. The only thing he has not managed to escape from so far is a choke collar (the type that tightens around his neck, when he pulls).3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Nothing right now4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Pascal is by far the biggest challenge I had for a very long time5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Inactive Member1. Did you meditate this week?
Every day, once 20 minutes but usually 40 minutes to over an hour. Rediscovering the joy of sitting outside early mornings by the creek with Aspen and Kit-Ten. They really love it. It is so beautiful I find myself meditating with my eyes open. Birds and a baby squirrel are keeping a close eye on me.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week?
I feel much closer to the squirrels at the feeders outside my window. Been giving them their Indian names: Tail Bite, Raccoon Tail, Yellow Tail, Half Tail, QQ Tail, Ragged Tail. It feels good getting to know and recognize them when they visit.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
I think I can celebrate being more accepting and comfortable with some of the unexpected words and pictures I’ve been receiving when I try to communicate. Moby died last Friday and, even though I wasn’t there, I felt his huge relief at being free from the painful drugged body that had been holding him down. I saw him as his body was being driven to be buried at the farm 40 miles away. He was standing on the roof of the car panting with joy, his ears flapping in the wind. Whenever I remember I feel such a mix of joy and sadness. The sadness is all mine but we share the joy.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
I enjoyed a double accountability award with Val on Wednesday. As always Val offered new unexpected insights and I know I will discover even more as I listen to the recording. The challenge is that she asked me to share what we talked about to help me more fully understand and hold onto the experience. I promised and I will. It just might take a little time and doing!
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)?
I did not communicate with Cinders this week. I’ve had a lot on my mind.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games this week?
Again, my mind has been elsewhere.

Platinum Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes, back to the Ananda Bosman cd most nites. Also, before sleep, I’ve been trying to visualize my Cooper, my horse Jewell (in Spirit) and myself sitting/standing in a circle around a bonfire/violet flame. This is per an ongoing conversation I’ve been having with Chigusa in this forum on the topic “Updated Picture of Cooper….” I’ve been visualizing our energies criss-crossing across the flames and sharing and joining with each other.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
One of my best friend’s horses was down earlier in the week and she called me because she didn’t know what to do to get her back on her feet. She thought maybe Honey was passing on, but I really didn’t get that feeling from her as she kept raising her head like she wanted to get up. I put a halter on her and asked her if she wanted to get up while tugging on the lead rope just enough to let her know the support was there if she wanted it. She immediately got on her feet and began eating the food her mom put out for her. After she ate, I cleaned out her feet and the one that was really packed with mud smelled Thrushy, so I put some Thrush medicine on all her feet. The next day her mom said she was doing much better. YAY!
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Even though I’m not where I want to be with animal communication (yet), every once in a while I’m able to make a significant difference in someones’ life, and that feels really good.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
Nothing new.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Not yet.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Didn’t have time.

5-20 minutes silent sitting
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I Think I always try to connect.. It is more a feeling, I tune in and do what I think to receive. For instant, tonight, my little feral cat was too shy to come to the stairs to have her meal and stayed under the tree. I had the feeling that she got chases today and is too afraid to come closer but is very hungry. So, I got out, she came half way to meow and put the food under the tree. She waited until I even closed the door and only then she would start eating. Normally, she starts eating by the stairs when I turn around to walk up the stairs to get back in the house. Is this intuition or common sense. I would think it is intuition. Many times, I am not aware of tuning in to the animal. It is second nature.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? None4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? None
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet, will do it on Saturday.

2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? been talking to Ming my deceased cat since he left. I get bits and pieces here and there. Pam said he did not want any intervention so I honored that request as hard as it was to watch him die i remember what Snoops taught me. The dying process is an experience too. So I did not intervene. In return I asked that he allow me to hold him when he passes and he did.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Haven t felt like celebrating just yet.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? none

6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No just kinda closed off right now. In addition to Ming passing my toilet overflowed and flooded half my house and ruined all my floors. I have to pull them up and find new ones t install. I m sure things are going to start looking up now.

Inactive Member1. MEDITATION: TYPES, TIMES
Between 15 to 20 minutes daily; missed two days. Kirtan kriya and Val’s bonus meditations at the end of the Core Foundations course. Will add Joel Levey’s from the CD and a book for next week. Thank you to whomever posted this recommendation from Val.
2. CONNECT WITH INTENTION TO COMMUNICATE
Lily-Grace has long, thick, white fur that she grooms meticulously enough that the vet-techs at her annual wellness exam last September noted she had no mats. That was fortunate because she dislikes being touched accept for head strokes and forehead-to-forehead rubs. The shelter from which I adopted her said she had a history of being passed from one male college student to another. When accepted at the shelter, her all-over mats necessitated an all-over shave.
Last week, I felt a large mat I could not begin to pull a Furminator through. Usually when I pick her up (usually only to take her to the vet), she just whimpers and licks my hand and arm. This time, as she struggled to get free, she gave me a kick in the chest that hurt for minutes.
A day or so later (Th 7/12), I realized I had to make a deeper connection with her about the mat than “Hold on. Sorry, this may hurt.” We sat on chairs in the living room/study about twelve feet from each other. She had been laying on her side with her head hanging down (she often likes to lay with head hanging). Then, in response to my trying to connect?, she switched to a curled up position with her head hidden in her fluffy tail.
Connecting with her, I explained how the mat would grow and limit her movement, e.g., jumping up to the kitchen counter. That would be dangerous because it increased the likelihood of her falling, and the tightness from the mat would hurt. Therefore, she had to let me treat it or accept that someone else would. As beautiful as she kept herself, this was simply too difficult for her to remove herself. I assured her we’d be as gentle as possible, but the procedure would be somewhat uncomfortable. Her petsitter, Carol South, will try next week. When they’re together, Lily-Grace likes to lick Carol’s hand and arm. If, however, Lily-Grace does not cooperate, as she won’t with me, then she’ll have to be driven to a professional cat groomer.
Lily-Grace seemed to recognize her situation, but she didn’t comment on it or change her physical position.
I will keep connecting with Lily-Grace to reassure her how good it will feel to groom herself when the mat is removed. I will try the February 18 Q&A patch-healing technique to soften the mat so it will be easier to remove. I will also try to breathe in patience with and for Lily-Grace as we near the appointment.
3. CELEBRATE
a. On Thursday, 7/12, I listened to the first forty minutes of the September 2013 Q&A with Val’s story and the message: change your story, and you change what the world reflects back. As very much proven by Val!
Definitely, life has been good as a retiree in Waco–maybe too good because I drift from one event, place, or book to another, happily but feeling guilty because of having no direction. As of this summer, I’ve found two special projects, one of which is animal communication. Now I have to acknowledge I’m fully responsible to make these successful and trust that I will.
One way will be to do Val’s Awaken Inner Guidance exercise (which reminds me of Jung’s active imagination) at least weekly and to keep a journal of the conversations.
b. Some correct calls with Hawkeye and Cinders.
4. CHALLENGES, PROBLEMS
a. As someone else has written, I need to feel in my body where, how, how much an animal hurts. With Lily-Grace, for example, how much does the tightness of the mat hurt? what does she think and feel as she’s grooming herself?
b. There is so much work to do with my six indoor cats and the one outdoor one, that I haven’t participated in the Facebook cases with cats. I’m especially sorry that Shadow hasn’t been found. I haven’t tried to connect, but my thoughts and prayers gravitate to him because he resembles my Raven-Raffaele.
5. FAT Thursday 7/12 connection(?) posted about Cinders.
6. INTUITION GAME
This is a modification of the black or red card game. On Tuesday 7/10, I rolled a die between my fingers and then dropped it an inch or so to the table at which I was sitting. My fingers did not touch the dots. My intent was to guess whether an odd or an even number of dots came up. Surprisingly, though it was not my intent, a specific number of dots often came up.
Results of ten tries: seven correct guesses/intuitions about odd vs. even. Of those seven, three correct about the exact number of dot(s) on the die.
(If anyone cares, I just checked online and “dice” is now as correct as “die” for the singular of “dice.”)

Platinum MemberPLEASE NOTE: I ALREADY DID THE ACCOUNTABILITY THAT’S DUE TODAY, BUT IT DIDN’T POST FOR SOME REASON. I’M NOT SURE IF I DIDN’T CLICK THE “SUBMIT” BUTTON OR IF SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED. I’M GOING TO ANSWER THE QUESTION AGAIN, BUT SINCE I’M A BIT FRUSTRATED AND ALREADY ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS, THE ANSWERS ARE GOING TO BE SHORTER AND NOT AS DETAILED AS BEFORE. 1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I meditated for about 10.5 minutes and imagined a warm, while light that vibrated love coming out of myself, my cats, and out apartment and it shielding us from all bad things. I imagined the light enclosing all those I love and care about whether in Physical form or Spirit form.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats and a mother bird and her baby bird. I helped the baby bird. I told the them I was helping (or trying to anyway) them. I told them I love them and I told the baby to be safe, be well, be happy, and be at peace and content.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing in particular.
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I still don’t know how to know if an animal receives my message when the animal doesn’t seem to respond. I also don’t know how to know if the animal is responding when he/she doesn’t seem to be responding.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, I wrote everything before, but please see what transpired where I posted in the FAT section today.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I played the deck of cards game. I don’t all the numbers exactly on how many I got right out of how many “guesses”.

Gold Member1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Most days I meditated. Some mornings I just sat quietly for about 15-20 minutes breathing and relaxing into the energy.
2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Once again I attempted to connect with one of my cats but was not successful.
3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing to celebrate
4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I continue to be unable to connect with animals as I used to do so easily.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. No, I did not get to communicating with the FAT this week.
6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, again I have not done this at all.

ModeratorChigusa – Helping animals to understand human travel including vacations makes a huge difference. That was one of my first trainings with Val and has made a world of difference for Rumery kitty and other animals. Celebrating small steps helps lead us to larger accomplishments. Don’t wait to celebrate.
Barbara – Thanks for the reminder of the importance to spend time and attention with animals who are grieving. It helps the animals and the people. Congratulations on your graduation! Remember that it takes practice to feel and see with accuracy. Be gentle with yourself.
Ana – Meditation while on vacation can be magical. Each of us has our own collection of communication modalities and not everyone ‘feels’ physical sensations in their bodies. Have you explored other ways to connect with animals.
Jo – Thanks for helping to share message between animal and her Mom. Congratulations on setting aside a specific time to study. Let us know the difference this makes for you. Getting into a new habit is challenging and totally worth it for good habits. this is inspiring.
Klaudia – Sweet that Mogli likes to share her births with you. Wonder what messages are inside the Pascal challenges.
Claire – Meditation mornings by the creek sounds wonderful. Nature is inspiring. Love the Indian names for the squirrels. What a blessing to share the joy and relief that Moby has found.
Patty – Great jobs on working with your spirit animals and with helping Honey! Yes, you are making significant differences, in more ways than you area aware.
Manuela – Thank you for your awareness and help to the feral cat resolving her needs.
Gina – My condolences on you loss of physical Ming and on your honoring of his requests and sharing the transition with him. Note that he too honored you and your requests. Yes, the flood waters are clearing the way for better to come in.
Carol – Trying showing Lily-Grace the entire procedure to remove the the mat and the positive outcome by doing that. If there is still confusion show her the negative of not doing it, then the positive again. Show her how careful you will be and perhaps give her an example from your own life where you went through some discomfort to get clear of your own mat equivalent and why. Your continued communication is great work. AS mentioned above, feeling animals in our body id not the default sensory experience for everyone. We have multiple senses and some come easier to us. Start with the easier modalities and gently practice additional modalities.
Alicia – Peppermint treats and new shoes – lots of adventures for Tina. Your continued conversations about moving are helpful What have the animals shared with you about their thoughts on the move?
Martha – Yes, technology can be frustrating. Sometimes we think we pressed a button and it doesn’t always click. Be open to alternate ways for animals to respond. They don’t think, talk or move like we do. Be gentle with you and them. And sometimes they aren’t available when we are. Perhaps they try to connect with you at other times.
Margaret – Glad you were able to enjoy some quiet time meditation. Are there other animals with whom you could practice connecting, perhaps those not so close at hand. Sometimes we have too much in the way with our closest and dearest.
