–> It’s Time to Practice with the Accountability Game!

Ready to earn special bonus private coaching time with Val? Here’s how:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: All students are invited to play, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Accountability private Coaching Session Awards (value $125).

Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn your sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week.

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to schedule. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication intuitive muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 6 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know. Put Upgrade in the subject line.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I did meditate. I did a Val’s daily Mindset Meditation/ Exercise every morning from GoPro Lesson 3. I also did a 10 minute Gratitude Meditation three times.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I tried to connect with Jax the precious lost cat that Pam posted about in the Facebook Group. I got a clear connection of how he ended up away from his home. I have been trying to connect again but it has been like a rerun of how he got lost. (A small animal in the bushes or near a tree caught his attention and he went to chase it down).

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that I found a few stuck spots with my mindset and I am working through them.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was finding a quiet space to meditate but I managed to do so.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I communicated with Maggie and all she wanted to know is what toys I brought her to play with. She was so playful and curious. She told me that life is all about having fun. I was unable to post in the forum for some reason but I will try again.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I used my deck of animal cards and picked a card. I guessed that it was an eagle but it turned out to be an owl.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

I did my usual short sessions a few times each day and in the evenings the meditation from the mindset lesson on the GoPro program.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Talking daily with Schnucki and Wuschel, 2 of my 3 feral youngsters who had babies recently. I am preparing Wuschel for spaying (will happen one of the next days). She is not very fond of the idea, but I promised her that she can go back outdoors after the procedure and removal of the stitches. I just hope she won’t turn out like her sister Grisi, who wanted to go out all the time while under medical treatment. And after she was spayed, she decided she likes to be indoors.
Telling Schnucki daily how important it is that she stays with her baby, praising her for taking care of the little guy. Sunday night she had sneaked out into the kennel and refused to come back inside. I had to bottle feed the kitten all Monday, which is difficult when I am at work. I can feed only early morning, during lunch break and then after work, which leaves him 5 hours between feedings. Only Monday night, I managed to chase her back inside. Actually, after more than 1 hour chase, she got tired and stumbled, when jumping on the window sill, falling backwards inside. So I quickly closed the window, ran back indoors, opened the kitchen door and she went back to her baby.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That I could talk Schnucki into looking after her baby for more than 1 week already. Each day under his mommy’s care raises his chances of survival drastically. As I don’t trust his mother, I weigh him daily to make sure he had enough milk. In spite of 2 days on bottle feeding, he nearly doubled his birth weight in 8 days.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I am extremely tired this week and have trouble focusing. Also since 3 days I try to gain the trust of 1 feral kitten in my yard (about 3-4 months old). The mother is around, but no more interested. The little one got injured and 1 front paw is swollen and obviously very painful. I suspect a snake bite. So far, I can’t get close enough to catch the kitten, but I keep talking and trying.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

I tried yesterday evening, but kept drifting off, losing focus and a few times nearly fell asleep. So I apologized to Maggie and told her I’ll be back later.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No games.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, I went back to silent sitting this week, except for last nite, when I did some reading. 15-20 minutes each time.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      Nothing out of the ordinary.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

My intuition has been working really well this week when it comes to thinking about people and then hearing from them shortly after. Also, yesterday morning I had let my horses into the 2nd pasture before going to take a shower. The sun was shining brightly. When I got out of the shower, we were under a severe thunderstorm warning, and it had gotten very stormy looking outside, so I took Ginger (my dog) out to do her morning business before it rolled in. I noticed the gate to the second pasture had blown shut and, not seeing the horses, thought they had gone to the barn. While Ginger was doing some sniffing around, I looked over at one of the gates to the second pasture, and Willow (my mare) was standing there looking at me. She never does that! She made sure I saw her and then went back to grazing. So I went and opened the gate that had blown shut and said “come on!”. She immediately took off and ran through the gate and into the barn, with Shiloh following. Talk about timing! The very minute Ginger and I got back into the house, the heavens opened up!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Not yet.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1) Did you meditate this week? Yes I did 3 guided meditations. I spent everyday in prayer. Guided meditation helps me focus when my surroundings are constantly changing with my job.

      2) Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? Yes, I unintentionally connected with a strange cat and had an allergic reaction – I think we will be discussing on AC call on Saturday

      3) What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
To always close off channels to your heart after you have opened up – set boundaries

      4) What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My desire has waned a bit since my allergic reaction – a temporary set back. I’m just not feeling it right now – the desire.

      5) Did you communicate with the FAT? Not yet – she looks just like the cat that I live with (not mine)- adorable. I want to though!

Hi everyone. I'm so excited about meeting more of you. I'm struggling a little with the web site but that is on me - it seems great! I work with dogs and grew up on horses, don't know much about cats but hope to learn.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes, daily Hemi-Sync meditations around 45 min each.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, with Lucy about the baby and to not run off when I have the baby. I was leading the baby from the barn to the pasture and let Lucy be loose thinking she won’t leave the baby. Well so much for that because Lucy ran out to the dirt road in front of the property and stood there, to show me that she could, then she ran back and ran around the property and finally joined the baby in the pasture. I asked her to not panic the baby like that. So far she hasn’t done it again. Lucy did this with her other babies rebelling the mother role for an episode.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

That the horses are so responsive to my communication. It helps a lot.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Being able to communicate more with Chica in spirit

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.

      Not yet

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I listened to my intuition at a rock and mineral show. There was a few pendants I like so I tried each one on and one gave me chills from head to toe and I knew it was the one.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
45-60 minutes mindful meditation. Body scan and sitting meditation.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I did and it was not nice of what I had to talk about. What happened. Our beloved Spike crossed the rainbow bridge just like he said he will. His body Oliver knew and knew he will take over his position in the house. He is very sad and is hardly eating.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Information from an animal can be upsetting and you just can’t believe of what you’ve been told. You think it is an error but you had to see that this event happened just like the animal said. In this case taken his final breath.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
      None
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
      Sorry, haven’t connect.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Forgot or just use different tools to sharpen my intuition.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? I tried this morning, but not much and I don’t think it’d really be considered meditating. This morning I’m concerned about time. Other times I didn’t think about it-maybe due to anxiety/busy mind. I’m not sure if there were other times that would have been considered meditating or not.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, my cats. I was going to connect with Maggie, the FAT, but wasn’t in a good head space and I thought maybe she said she didn’t want to connect with me then, but that might have been my ego brain. I also got a 404 error message when I clicked on the button to be able to write when connecting with Maggie. I plan to connect with her though over the weekend my time or later on today maybe.
I also connected with a dog in the bank who told me about having had a walk earlier that day that wasn’t real eventful but he smelled some good smells. He also said the recent 4th of July wasn’t real scary for him.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Nothing new.

I might have briefly and she might have told me she didn’t want to connect with me then because I wasn’t in a good head space. I’m not sure. I wouldn’t have been able to post in her section anyway due to a 404 error message.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? I was going to with Lion Heart, Helene F.’s cat, but wasn’t in a good space to do it. I will connect again later.

MEDITATIONS: TYPES, TIMES Daily 20-minute guided chakra clearing meditation for the am; three or four days, also the pm version (need to try something new because this CD hasn’t helped strengthen my lower chakras). Square and Zen breaths.

INTENTION TO CONNECT AND COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANIMAL

–Possibly succeeded in conveying to Rosalie the Lorelei, a feral, loud, outdoor cat, to come only in the morning for feeding (6 ounces canned cat food, sometimes an extra 3-ounce can if she keeps sitting on the window ledge looking in). I haven’t seen her in the evening when I’m at the laptop watching a film and keeping an eye on the picture window. But I have not received a message from her about how she regards this treatment.

–Tried to connect with Jax. Maybe did (FB posts). Wednesday or Thursday got a sudden, unexpected vision of him walking in tall (about two feet high) grass or weeds. Only those image flashes, nothing else.

–Keep trying to convey to Julie-Belle and Janie-Kate that I’ll be taking them outside to live unless they stop urinating and defecating in inappropriate places (kitchen counters and sink, dining room table, bathroom tub and toilet lid, bookcases, exercise mat, chairs). I am probably too angry at them and disappointed in myself for being so angry to connect and communicate. Their bad behavior escalates almost daily: when I saw Janie-Kate climbing into my large purse, I feared she’d dump there. They’re microchipped; I’ll put food and water outside; add furniture under the patio overhang; keep their flea medication up-to-date. I can’t turn the mother and daughter in at the shelter because they might get separated. Also, the shelter had only nine cats a few weeks ago; now, it has over 130 cats.

CELEBRATE Nothing in AC skills. Maybe realizing that relationships change, though four months after J-B and J-K came to live with me in another home, another state, I bought pet stuff at Target to enable them to live outside because of J-B’s bathroom behavior. Then I returned the stuff. Twelve years of cleaning up later, I can no longer deal with them. Maybe they, too, will welcome the change.

–This is an addition at sunset rather than waiting for next week’s report when it won’t matter as much. Months ago, Val encouraged us to communicate with a tree. I chose a cedar I can see through the picture window when at my Mac; it’s just over the property line on my neighbor’s side. I felt sorry for it because in the four years I’ve lived here, it has been severely hit twice by storms. The property owners (two different) at those times drastically trimmed it. Then, when I had professionals trimming my trees, they took off more limbs that hung over my property in an attempt to gain some symmetry. Poor, much-hacked tree. I noticed that if I stood outside at a particular angle, the remaining boughs looked as though they could be hugging someone. Sometimes, I imagined myself as a tall Alice in Wonderland and the tree was hugging me. The only message I got from it was “I’m still here.” Later I learned from reading that it was probably connected by the roots to cedars across three (or more) properties on the other side of the street.

While I was watching a film, it was hard to listen because of chainsaws. Then I noticed men cutting off more limbs, and I sent the tree my gratitude for its presence and the slight connection we had. After, I guess, some strategic cuts to the trunk, two men pushed against the tall trunk until it thundered to the ground. Would you believe that at the cut, lower-end near the stump, the wood is actually red? Because of the sunset or because the wood is that color? But the killing of the tree reminded me of the death of a massive mammal, and that made the event doubly sad. I suppose the men will be back from dumping the brush to drill out the stump.

In one of the FB articles on this site, an author wrote that some trees of the same species keep the roots of a tree alive when nothing of the tree is left above ground. For me, though, the tree I had connected with is gone. I’m grateful that I could be present with it.

CHALLENGES, QUESTIONS See Intention and Celebrate.

FAT COMMUNICATION I’m eager to get clear enough to try to communicate with Robin S’s Maggie: she’s adorable in the two photos Robin posted on FB.

INTUITION GAMES I tried with the pendulum to determine about how far away Jax is from home. It didn’t move at all for about five minutes. Maybe I’m too impatient and also skeptical about getting a correct answer, i.e., one that I don’t influence.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Once again I must admit that I have not mediated much. Some mornings I sit quietly with my first cu of coffee. It is still my intention to mediate daily but somehow it just never happens.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? There is nothing to celebrate

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? My challenge is just doing it. I don’t expect it to work so I just don’t try. I do talk to my cats and know they get some of my communication to them but I do not get communication from them other than body language when it is obvious what they want, i.e. food.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so. Not yet – plan to do so in the call tomorrow.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? No, sorry. playing these games is low on my list of things to do.

Yes sitting meditation in moments throughout my week
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Yes always everyday communing; more formal communication with a new friends dog that I have been working with to help with some aggression towards dogs; some progress mainly in helping person be more conscious of how she is communicating telepathically with Lucille her dog. Also helped a moth this week that was stuck in an old spiderweb; sweet encounter. Listening to birds everyday as meditation and tuning in with them. Great connections with my cats.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Beautiful animals around me. My ability to help animals having a difficult time.
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
      Mosquitos and biting flies!
      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the Featured Animal in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
I will tomorrow before and during call! I spoke with Maggie a few months ago and look forward to more time with her.
      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
Playing card deck intuitive game that I always play. Still need to find a new fun game.
