–> Ready to Practice with the Accountability Game? –> Ready to earn special bonus time with Val? Here’s how to do do both:

One of the most important things to help you stay on track with your goals is to be accountable on a regular basis. To help you with that, once a week please answer these simple questions listed below.

This practice is designed to help you become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, healed and cleared. Mistakes are a necessary part of the journey. There are no right answers here and this is not a test. Just do your best. Doing this exercise will help you improve your skills and be more consciously aware at all times. Remember this is a journey, not a destination. The idea is for you to stay conscious and make progress.

NOTE: Gold and Platinum Club Members are Eligible to Earn the Accountability Bonus Call Award (a live small group coaching session with Val and the month’s other Accountability Bonus Award winners). Here’s how Gold and Platinum Members earn their sessions:

      1) Stay Accountable. Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion for the time period of Saturday through Friday to which you can post any day of the week. You are invited to report on you efforts, progress and frustrations during the week since your last post. You don’t have to have perfect results. It is more important that you are trying, taking action and sharing what’s happening for you.

      2) When you’ve completed 12 consecutive weeks of accountability posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a bonus session with Val.” This email will be sent after the new week’s Accountability Discussion has been posted to the Forum. If you miss a week, just start your count over the next week. (Note: All students will benefit from this exercise. However, you must be a Gold or Platinum Member to earn bonus session with Val.)

      3) In the Congratulations email, you’ll receive instructions on how to participate. Use your time for animal communication mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).

      4) Post each week during the Saturday to Friday timeframe. All posts are automatically time stamped and should align with the appropriate week to apply toward earning a free session with Val. Note: You can’t wait for 3 months then do 12 week’s worth of reporting in 1 week! Having the practice over time will strengthen your Animal Communication muscles.

MEMBER POSTING INSTRUCTIONS: Just copy these 5 questions into your comment below and answer them. Then click Post.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Tip: To copy the questions, highlight the text and type ctrl-C (hold down the ctrl key and type a C) then place the cursor in the Reply box and use ctrl-V to paste.

Remember the weekly posting period runs from Saturday through noon 12:00pm Central (Texas) United States Friday which is the same as 5pm in system time shown at the top of your posts (it is the Universal Time (Greenwich, UK)). You can check your own time using the Time Zone converter at:

      https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html

Note: Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing [email protected] and letting us know.

While only posts answering the above questions count as Accountability Posts, you are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts. We are here to learn from and inspire each other too! Provide feedback to others and we will learn together.

      Much love, Barb & Val

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I have participated in two guided meditations one which was withdrawing your energy to yourself so you can be around wildlife without disturbing them. The other was on feeling your emotions so you know what is yours and what is somebody else’s. I continue my daily practice morning and night of meditation on light and sound centered in the middle of my head.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes. A friend’s “semi-feral” cat came back to her home having somehow been caught in a trap or net and escaped. Without knowing what my friend was doing physically for the cat(she made a physical healing box for him and rubbed salve on his “owies”), I mirrored her ministrations with the healing box and healing goo! Sooo amazing! I also was revisited in the night by a cat I had done a reading on that day and he gave me instructions about another animal that needed my help! I continue to connect with one to two animals each day.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? I’m learning something new almost every day through the wisdom of the animals.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? I have three animals in spirit to connect with next and they all left their bodies in difficult circumstances and I am really praying for guidance. Also the hurt semi-feral cat’s communication was instant but most of the time I feel that
I need to ground, create sacred space and wait….

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
Only during the class due to technical difficulties with the website. Mig is on my list.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Continued with finding next jig saw puzzle piece to fit instantly in the puzzle.(2/3 accuracy)

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

As usual a couple of short sessions spread over the day. Centering, grounding doing, present moment.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Connecting with my Blacky every day. She was very unhappy to be locked in my bedroom. So in a session with Val I offered her to join the other members of the family in the kennel and she agreed to give it a try. Sunday I took her to the utility room and showed her the open window leading into the kennel. She immediately jumped out. But she was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of cats whom she did not know and retreated to a compartment in the scratch tree. The next days I pointed out to her the cats whom she knows from her time living free and she started relaxing a bit. Then I told her it would be rather helpful if she could come to me at feeding time. It took a while, but yesterday she came the first time to the windowsill for eating. The next step is to convince her it is safe to investigate the kennel and visit the upper floor as well. I keep telling her that there are small wooden boxes up there where she can go in. This would be even more safe than the scratch tree, because she would have to watch only one entrance.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I am happy that Blacky feels obviously more happy now that she can feel the wind and see at least the outdoor again.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Working on my confidence.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      No time

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

This week I spent approximately 1 hour meditating. I did a Gratitude Meditation four times.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I communicated with a large frog that was beside a pond on a walkway. I asked the frog how what it was like living there. He told me it was too noisy at times but when there were no people around it was peaceful. He said he was not sure if he was going to stay or go find a new “dwelling”.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

I would like to celebrate that each day is an opportunity to find another animal to communicate with.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

The challenge I had this week was navigating my way through the forum.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

I tried to communicate with Mig but at the time, she was tired and just wanted to sleep.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

I used mini tennis balls ( all different colours) and put them in a box. I closed my eyes and took one in my hand. I guessed it was green and I was correct.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

Yes 4 times this week. Guided meditations and I merged with my totem elephant which I had not done in awhile and it was calming. Her gentle strength is amazing and how powerful it feels to be in such a large body.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes, with the horses daily. It’s wonderful to have the horses all getting along. What a relief. Katey is blossoming as the new leader. Lucy is very happy about being the FAT in March. Her baby is also excited.
We are having behavior issues with Daisy I posted about.
I am going to take her to the stables wearing a muzzle so she can’t hurt the other dogs.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

It is a slow process and takes a lot of work but it is so worth the journey. To see the changes that I have been involved with acting out behaviors turned around and saving the animal from being rehomed is life changing.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

Getting through to Daisy. She is jealous of me and wants my husband to herself so she is not always receptive to my communication. She has improved from disliking me to neutrality thanks to previous communication with Martha.
This is a work in progress.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

Yes, Mig is improving but having difficulty leaving her paw alone. I posted the conversation.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

Yes. Guessing the cards for red or black. I got in the zone first and guessed 8/10 correct then 7/10 and 7/10.
Getting in the zone helps everything.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?

In addition to my nightly meditations, I also managed 3 morning (RPM) meditations for almost one hour each. Also some guided meditations in an on-line animal communications class I’m attending this week.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      Nothing out of the ordinary.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?

      Nothing new.

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

I would like to know how many more mice are living in the couch in my sunroom. As of today, I have trapped and relocated over 50 of them to the outdoors, and they just keep coming!! In the past 2 days, I had 8 in the trap, 4 at a time!! The last time I asked how many more were there, I just got “several”. Several, indeed!!

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.

      Haven’t had time.

      6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?

      No time.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
5-20 minutes of daily silent sitting. Mindfulness in daily activities.
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I connected with an animal but could not tell if the dog stayed calm because I explained that we are only going to the vet and going right back home. It’s a good car right. She was content and trusting. I don’t know the dog so I could not tell if she trusted me or normally behaves like that.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
      Nothing
      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?

      Sorry, didn’t.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you? Yes, I did twice at least. I thanked the Universe for various things and asked the Universe for various things. I also centered while listening to music. I might have centered another time. I’m not sure how long.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, I did with my cats. They understood some or all of the time. I also did with Mig (the FAT right now), Patty M.’s Shadow, and a bird. I posted the conversation with Mig and Shadow. When I connected with the bird, he/she told me something to help me.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? My ability to do it!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Nothing new.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? 6. Did you play one of the Intuition Games (see the games information within the Animal Talk Club Gold/Silver membership resources) this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes, and I posted for Patty M. to see it.

      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Yes – I connected with Novia briefly to see how she was doing and ask permission to send her some reiki.
      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week? Although I struggle to connect with my dogs on a psychic level, I am able to quickly identify what they want most of the time, which in itself can be intuitive.

      5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If so, what happened? If not, why not? If you did, please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so. Yes, posted today.

      1. Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
I have used Val’s stress buster meditation video as well as a 30 min guided meditation designed to help ease anxiety and quiet the mind. I did both of these last night since yesterday was my first day on the site!
      2. Did you connect with the intention to communicate with an animal this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not?
I was exploring the site and came across Mig’s pic. After looking at it for a second my impression was ‘Ball!’ That was all I got but was pleased to read that she does indeed love her red ball. I am brand new to this and will continue practicing my communication skills.

      3. What would you like to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week?
Again, I am brand new to this and have no experience to share as of now. But I look forward to learning and growing and sharing that with my fellow animal lovers!

      4. What challenges or questions do you have about communicating with animals this week?
My challenge is keeping my mind quiet enough to focus on the animal completely. I also need to practice listening to my intuition and not think my mind is just coming up with things.
      5. Did you communicate with the Featured Animal for this month? Did you play of the one of the games on the new games handout this week? If so, what happened? If not, why not? Please post your results communicating with the featured animal in the Discussion of that animal if you have not already done so.
I did the stress busting meditation. I have some chocolate Easter bunnies I am going to practice the color recognition game with this evening! And I posted about Mig earlier; I was able to sence she loved playing with a ball but could not get anything else at the time.
