Sue S has volunteered to host her cat, Scarlett, as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) during May 2024. You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.

We encourage all of you to connect with Scarlett now and throughout the month.

Tune into Scarlett first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.

How does Scarlett feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc. Ask Scarlett ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.

5/3/24: 10:40 am CT, AC with Scarlett (Sue S’s cat):

I greeted Scarlett, introduced myself as an AC classmate of her momma Sue. I asked Scarlett if she was available and would like to talk to me. I felt she said absolutely, let’s talk! I had a little trouble getting a clear message channel to her for some reason – it was like there was something in between us causing static or haziness but I kept going. Maybe it is a weather thing or some high energy getting in the way, I don’t know. It just felt different than when I tried talking with Max (Dakota’s kitty). I felt Scarlett was eager to talk so I stayed with it. 🙂 I asked all sorts of things but here is a summary of what I felt I got answers to from her.

I asked if she had a favorite thing to do, a favorite activity. She showed me her playing with bugs. Nuzzling them with her nose and paws. She didn’t show me that she hurt them, just that she liked to play with them and watch them move.

I asked if she had other animals that lived with her and momma Sue and she showed me a bird, looked to be mostly white in color. She showed me a horse.

I asked her about how she came to know and live with her momma Sue. I got all sorts of images so I will try to describe what I saw as best I can. She showed me that something was on a roof – I couldn’t tell if it was her or something/one else. Then I saw Scarlett sitting in the grass right next to Sue’s feet, looking up at Sue like Scarlett needed something from her. Then I saw lots of people around Sue and the area. That was about all I could see clearly enough to relay back.

I asked what it was like to be a cat, how it felt to meow, what did she like most about being a cat. She showed me her stretching out her paw and extending her claws. She said she likes claws as they make her feel safe. I couldn’t really tell if she still had her claws or if she showed me she wished she had them. Either way, I could feel she likes claws and how they made her feel safe. Then, I seriously heard a very distant meow. Had to be from her. 🙂

I asked if there was anything her momma Sue did that she really liked. She showed me how she likes to have her tail scratched right at the base of her tail. She showed me her arching her back and loving how that felt.

This is a little funny, but I asked if she had any messages she would like me to tell momma Sue and Scarlett said, you are getting low on treats and need to add that to the shopping list. LOL!! 🙂

I thanked her for talking to me and helping me with my AC learning. Before I “hung up the phone”, I told her I thought she had the most beautiful eyes, and that while I know she is MUCH more than her physical beauty, I still felt she had very stunning eyes in her physical body, and she said “thank you very much. I am quite fond of my pretty eyes.” Such a sweet kitty!

I am anxious to see how this went with Scarlett, given the interference I felt we had in the connection channel (I did transform any possible negative energy into positive energy JUST in case the interference was something negative – so that Scarlett and I and our environments stayed safe and cleansed). Thanks to both Scarlett and Sue for being the May FAT! 🙂 <3

Thanks so much for being the first person to talk to Scarlett. She has really been looking forward to the opportunity to talk with people.

I think the static you encountered prevented you from having clear communication with Scarlett. Maybe, if you have some available time this month, you’ll try again and hopefully you won’t have any problem getting a clear channel then.

Scarlett is the only animal in the house. She has never been outside, so the images of her being on the roof or seeing something on the roof isn’t a possibility. Also, she’s never been on grass, so that didn’t fit either. And since she’s only inside, I haven’t seen her playing with bugs. However, if she did come across a bug, I could fully imagine her pawing it and playing with it without causing it harm. She has other favorite things she likes to do, so hopefully if you chat with her again, she can share one of them with you.

Scarlett does still have her claws and I do believe she likes her claws, because she is never cooperative when it’s time to trim them.

Scarlett does like to be scratched right at the base of her tail. Now that she’s mentioned it to you, I will make sure to give that area extra attention.

Scarlett absolutely loves her treats and I keep them well stocked. So it would be like her to double check that we have enough on hand.

That was super sweet of you to acknowledge that she is much more than her physical beauty. That means a lot to Scarlett. However, she also loves to be adored, so I’m sure she was delighted that you complimented her pretty eyes.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I count many things in this a win for me (and not just the few things I did receive from her clearly):

1. I almost immediately had that feeling of wanting to hide in the corner for not getting clear messages, but I put that feeling on the boat and sent it sailing. 🙂 That is a big win for me to be able to so quickly stop that negative emotion and look at this differently.
2. This time, I got to feel what it was like to NOT get clear messages, so that next time when I feel that way, it will help me to refocus, be more patient, and tweak the dial so I get through better. Win. 🙂
3. I feel as though maybe another animal was trying to tell his/her story to me while I was trying to focus on Scarlett, and maybe that explains why I felt the “static”. I didn’t feel it was anything bad at all, just felt like other energy present, like a double vision effect. That teaches me that I need to learn how to tell when something I get is from another animal and not the one I am specifically communicating with, how to differentiate who is speaking at that time. (If anyone has any suggestions on where I can learn that, it would be welcomed! Still going through my courses here so I haven’t gotten to everything yet.) I am glad I got to experience this though, because I believe this is a big part of my AC growth. Win Win!! 🙂

So, in short, while I may not have received all clear messages from Scarlett (Sorry Scarlett! I promise to try again!!), I am so grateful to experience these things as it will help me grow in my AC. I got to experience things I hadn’t before. Thanks again for the feedback and I WILL reach out to her again. 🙂

I love your attitude! You will do well with Animal Communication with that attitude because you could have easily gotten discouraged and instead, you rightly took it as a win. Good for you!

Now that you mention that it could have been another animal coming through, my beloved heart dog, Izzi, passed away less than a year ago and she’s around me all the time. The day I met Izzi, the adoptive parents from the rescue were there and I brought a friend. We meet at a park and there were lots of people in the park. I sat on the grass and Izzi sat next to my feet and looked up at me. We knew at that moment, I would take her home. Reading back over your original message, it sounds really possible that Izzi was trying to tell her story and that’s what you picked up on.

You should feel really encouraged. You did great and you learned so much. Thanks again for not running scared and pushing through to connect with Scarlett.

Oh my gosh, I think I may have just experienced chatting with two of your babies at once! 🙂 I am so sorry to hear Izzi is no longer physically here but so happy to hear she is still with you spiritually. I am amazed that what I saw was so close to Izzi’s story of how she met you. Wow. Didn’t expect that. 🙂 Now I am anxious to get through and hear Scarlett’s story. If that happens again when I try to connect with Scarlett, maybe, if permission is granted, I should have a chat with Izzi first, so she is happy and then lets me talk to Scarlett. Yes, please feel free to chat with Izzi if she tries to interfere again. She was such an amazing dog and she’s been an amazing soul to stay with me after she passed. It’s obvious that she is more than willing to talk and yes, maybe if you let her say all she needs to say, she’ll step aside so you can have a clear channel with Scarlett.

Hi Sue, me again. 🙂 I wanted to share something with you. In one of the courses, Val says that if an animal pops up in your mind out of the blue and I wasn’t thinking of the animal already, it could mean they are wanting to talk to you. This evening 5/6/24 at 5:55 pm CT, I was taking my shower and Scarlett popped in my mind and I got a strong feeling she wanted to talk. I figured, ok, let’s give this a try (I was practicing meditation at the time as well). Wasn’t sure how well this would work, being that I was doing something (albeit I was already void of thought from meditating) so I will not be surprised (or discouraged) if I don’t get any of this correct but I wanted badly to give it a try and see if I could experience AC that quickly and “on demand”. 🙂 How can I grow if I don’t take risks, right? 🙂

So I connected and asked her if she wanted to share some of her favorite activities. I saw her hiding in what looked to be one of those long fabric tunnels for cats. She looked like she would hide and then pop out the other end. Then I saw one of those plastic balls with a bell inside. She looked like she would chase after it. Then I asked if she wanted to share her story of how she met you and I am quite sure I heard her say, when I was done with my shower, she would tell me that part. LOL!

6:35pm: I relaxed and reconnected with her. I asked her if she could confirm those couple messages I got above and felt like she said I heard correctly. I then asked if she would tell me her story now. The words Lost and Found popped in my mind. I asked if Sue found her or she found Sue and I felt she said she found you. I saw a scene play out that looked like you were visiting Scarlett’s momma cat to help with something. Scarlett looked like a young kitty and said she wanted your attention so she meowed as loud as she could, she said it sounded like a tiger roaring. Right after she said that part, I heard a car start up in the distance that sounds like a loud big cat roar. That was funny! The timing was impeccable. I replayed what I saw to her and asked if I saw that correctly and I felt she said I saw what she showed me.

This was a fun “out of the box” practice with her to see if I could talk to her that quickly both times. I think she wants me to take risks and even if I didn’t get anything correct, she is letting me practice with her. Such a sweet girl! 🙂

I’m so proud of you for jumping back in and taking risks.

I feel like you got info correctly, but may have then interpreted it a little off. Hopefully you can read through my responses and see what you got and how you interpreted it.

Scarlett loves to hide at end of hallways, stairs, and doorways and then she pops out when I come through. I always ask her if she is playing hide and seek with me. If you take away the fabric tunnel, then I believe the activity you saw her doing is exactly what she does often and I know she really gets a kick out of it. It makes me laugh out loud when she does it.

Her favorite toys are colorful pom-pom balls that she bats around the house and chases after them. She entertains herself doing that daily. They aren’t made of plastic and they don’t have a bell inside, but I do believe she showed you her favorite toy.

Regarding how she came to be with me, the words Lost & Found could definitely apply. And you are correct that she found me. I adopted her as a 4 year old cat, so there wasn’t a momma cat involved. I am more than happy to share the story with you now, but if you plan to try again, I don’t want to give details until you’re ready.

Also, Scarlett grew a huge mane like a big lion after I got her. I refer to her as my big cat (as in lion) and I have no problem believing that she was once reincarnated as a lion and had a big roar. So maybe she was sharing that part of her with you.

I think it’s wonderful that Scarlett reached out to you and was able to connect with you. You’re doing great!

That is super helpful! You are correct that my interpretation still needs work. I need to remember to zoom out. I am still in literal translation mode – meaning I have to be able to explain what I see, so in my mind I define it with my words rather than leaving it more open and expressive. 🙂 I am still amazed, though, being a beginner still at this, at how well I did that “on-demand”! I have been learning alot from Dakota too, she is very good at expressive interpretation in her writing so reading her AC experiences helps show me how to interpret using more open words/thoughts and not box myself in. I haven’t quite gotten there but the more I practice, the better I’ll get. 😊

Given how Scarlett wants to help me grow, don’t tell me her story yet. I want to keep trying. LOL This had been a very exciting experience with her and I am learning so much from it. Thanks so much!

Hi Sue,
I couldn’t stay away long, Scarlett was on my mind, and I wanted to check in with her again. 🙂 I called out to her and here is how our talk went.

I asked Scarlett if she would like to talk again, she showed me she was walking slowly around the house, going to another spot to nap, it appeared to be very quiet in the house, lazy day, just relaxing, calm energy in her. I told her I wanted to check in and say hi, that it had been a couple weeks, and I was sorry it took so long to check in with her. I missed her. When I said that, something that hasn’t happened for me yet in AC happened, she walked up to me, bumped the top of her head to the underside of my chin and rubbed her head against me in the sweetest way, telling me hi! ❤️ I knew we were connected in that moment.

I asked her how she was doing, was she having a good day, and did she have a good week. She showed me that it was just a week of following mom around and helping her. Good times. Nothing too exciting to tell me. I then felt a strong urge to ask her about her meow sound again. She again showed me that it sounded like a very big cat – lion like. A loud roar and she moved her head like a lion would when she meowed. She did it with such pride. Made me smile!

I got around to asking her if she would tell me the story now of how she and her momma Sue came to be together. I felt Scarlett start off by saying “I found her (mom), and all is well, really that is what matters”. I asked if Scarlett was there when Izzi was there, did she know Izzi before Izzi returned to spirit. What I felt from Scarlett was pretty clear and I wrote down the message I was given as fast as it was coming in, but I don’t know if I interpreted this correctly….I felt that she didn’t take that “special spot” in your heart until Izzi returned to spirit. It seemed like she felt she could then help you fully and take her place in your heart when it was just her there. She was always “there” for you, but she felt Izzi had to do what she had to do for you first, then Scarlett could take the helm. When I opened my eyes and looked back at her picture, I saw a change in her eyes in the picture. Her eyes looked so loving and calm, and the shape changed a little and was less furrowed, more like a look of “and now my story to you is complete, you did it, I showed you what you needed to know and now I just send love and encouragement to you.” I felt complete. I felt her love in that moment. Got goosebumps all over when that happened. 🥰

All I can say after that is, wow. That was an amazing experience with her. I learned after talking to Val yesterday that not only am I primarily clairsentient, but I am also claircognizant, which I wasn’t familiar with the term. After learning that, I was able to free myself to be more accepting of the messages I receive and go with it. I think that knowing is helping in the interpretation area as well. I hope some of this resonates. Even if it didn’t, she gave me quite the feeling experience this time and I loved every minute spent with her!!! 🙂

I was just going through all the posts to make sure I didn’t miss anyone. Somehow my response to your 5/25 post didn’t go through. Thankfully, I kept a copy and apologize that you didn’t get this sooner.

I must tell you again how impressed I am with your positive attitude and perseverance with growing your animal communication skills. I am so happy that Scarlett has been assisting you with this. The day that you tapped into her, it was truly quiet in the house because I was gardening outside, and she was in the house alone.

I love how she greeted you and the instant connection you two had. Sounds like you had an amazing experience with her and that fills my heart with joy. Scarlett is an incredible cat and I think it’s so wonderful that you got to experience her the way I do.

It’s interesting to hear her talk about how we came to be together. The details that I thought would be interesting to share are of no importance to her and she just wants it to be known that she found me and that’s all that matters. She is very matter of fact like that.

I did not get Scarlett until the month after Izzi died. So when I brought Scarlett home, Izzi had already passed. But I do know they talked while both were in Spirit before Scarlett came to be with me. I also know that Izzi came to visit Scarlett after Scarlett arrived in my home. Izzi felt the need to share with Scarlett how best to care for me and keep me happy.

When Scarlett said that she has always been there for me, that’s true. She was my first beloved cat and she died 25 years ago. She was there for me on the other side and knew the importance of Izzi being in my life. She waited patiently until Izzi’s time on earth ended before she found her way back into my life for the second time.

The part of the story that Scarlett does not think is significant to talk about, but that I felt was relevant, is that Scarlett is a Walk-in. When Izzi died suddenly and unexpected, I reached out to an animal communicator (AC) to see how Izzi was doing because her death was so traumatic. Izzi reassured me that she was just fine and that she jumped out of her body and didn’t feel the need to experience the trauma that the body went through at the end. After I was reassured Izzi was fine, I asked the AC to reach out to my first cat, Maddie. My hope was that Maddie had reincarnated and that maybe the AC could point me to right place so I could adopt Maddie. Within moments of connecting with Maddie, it was apparent that she was in Spirit and not on Earth. I knew I didn’t want to adopt a kitten, so I thought my chances of her being my next pet were off the table. Maddie immediately corrected me and asked how soon would I want her to return. I said I was ready for her. She said that she would find the right body who had completed their mission on Earth and she would take over that body while they returned to Spirit. Within a few days, she guided me to a website that did not show any adult cats available. I trusted it was the right place and reached out to the lady who owned the website to see if by chance she had any female adult cats available. She replied in fact she did and when she showed me the picture, I knew instantly it was my Maddie. I picked her up that week. By the way, Scarlett picked out her name this time because her favorite color is red. That’s the more detailed version of how Scarlett came to be with me. Before this, I didn’t know animals could be Walk-in’s and I thought that was significant for new animal communicators to be aware of. Apparently, that’s no big deal to Scarlett and she doesn’t get what all the fuss is about. I thought you would find the full story interesting even though Scarlett does not.

I was wondering why I didn’t feel like she answered my question about if she knew Izzi while she was here. It is amazing how what we think is important isn’t necessarily important to them. I know I felt her say she let Izzi do her thing first before she took over. My mind would think that means she knew Izzi. Not realizing, yes, she knew Izzi but not in the way I perceived it. Wow! This experience with her opens up a huge door for me on the learning!!!! Another interpretation lesson, woo hoo!!! 😄 my goodness, this was the most exciting chat because I learned some wonderful things! I will have to stay in touch with you both because she is such a great teacher! 🥰

Hi Shelly, just to share that I had a similar experience last year….I was speaking with Evelyn’s dog Hawaii from the ATH page, when without realizing, I connected to her other dog in spirit, as he was trying to pass on a message to her! I was quite shaken when I got the feedback! but luckily she was able to work on the message and that resulted in some closure for the dog.

Oh my goodness, Nita! It is so exciting to hear you experienced the same thing. That helps solidify what happened to me, more so. It was such a good feeling when Sue told me what I described was Izzi’s story. I didn’t know something like that could happen, but her feedback and my and your experiences says it can and does! I actually did feel there was another energy present, not a bad one, but I had no idea what that was, I was still new to a lot of these experiences. Thank you so much for sharing that you, too, had that experience. Makes me feel better and more confident. 🙂 Hope you and your babies are all doing well, and hope Sunny is doing better! Thanks Shelly! I too had never heard of something like this, but apparently it does happen! I’d asked Val on the Q and A session (if I can find the one, will tell you) and I think she said that you have to check to ensure that you’ve connected to the right dog. I was quite sure I had, nor did I feel the presence of another energy, so just went through with the communication! Evelyne said that whatever information I got matched that of her dog in spirit, not the one I was speaking with! When she showed me a picture of the dog, it looked very familiar, though I had never seen it before. Evelyne is a wonderful person and good friend and was most supportive, but I was so shaken by the experience, and not being too proficient, I just stayed away from AC for a while! I’m glad to see you’re persisting with it.
Thanks for asking about Sunny….he’s doing well so far since Val’s communication and healing, though she said to wait for 2 weeks at least, so early days yet. Do keep him in your prayers. Lots of love and all the best.

About the unique way she came to live with you, Sue, she didn’t seem interested in talking about it. She said that humans have very busy minds, but animals don’t spend much time in the past. She’s glad to have found you, though.

I asked whether she had any messages for you and she said she does like to be brushed.

I don’t know if this is the usual practice for animal communication, but I asked if she had anything specific to teach me today. She said to keep learning how to quiet my mind.

I thanked Scarlett and asked if we could communicate again. She said, “Absolutely.”

My karma Soul energy fully healed and clean by my work have done over time. I’m not typical cat in body. I’m different status. Some of us are. Yours are and they are here to protect you amongst other things and it’s because of them you didn’t die last Friday. You are right you would have if you had not called ambulance for yourself. They tell you when you need something physically.

Thanks for communicating with Scarlett. I have no doubt that you had a good connection with her.

She definitely is an extraordinary soul. She’s my baby and she demands my undivided attention, which I freely give to her. She can be a chatter box when she feels the situation requires it. She does like to entertain me and she makes me laugh out loud daily.

Her fur is creamy soft. She does love to eat for pleasure, but she can also be amusing while eating.

You absolutely picked the correct adjectives to describe her: bossy, pouty, fussy, and then easy-peasy when she wants to be. She really loves attention (and pouts when she’s not getting it) and never tires of people being in awe of her beauty. She does do the eye blink love often. I am not sure about playing with ice in a glass because I’ve never had ice in a glass with her but maybe she is describing something similar that I’m not aware of.

She is definitely able to utilize all the Clairs.

I do have a kitchen glass window that she sits and looks out often throughout the day. However, there is no painted white wood or gold handle. My inside tile is a tan/light brown color. I do have a pink rose bush, but she can’t see it from that window, so that’s interesting that she was able to describe it to you. She loves to watch the birds. I don’t know what the apple was about – I haven’t had any apples in the house since I’ve had her, but maybe she is saying she’d like one.

She does follow me around the house like a dog and runs and greets me at the door when I come home from work.

She does make her loudest noise when I’m asleep and she wants to go out of my room or thinks I should be getting up to feed her. She’s figured out just the right pitch to wake me from a sound sleep.

You’re absolutely correct, she is not a fan of having her belly rubbed and would prefer to be rubbed under her chin.

She fulfills each of the roles you named: Mother figure, Angel, Guard, and Guide.

Pure Soul & Pure Love are her essence. She is not a typical cat in a body. I’m happy to hear that your cats are of the same high-caliber and that they saved your life last Friday.

Dear Sue and Beloved Scarlett,

I have succeeded to connect with Scarlett during the call and this is what I’ve got:

I see Scarlett lifting from the carpet, and taking a sitting position. She looks straight into my eyes, and she says to me ” I see you”, and lifts her right paw and softly touches my left cheek, like in a comforting touch. Her paw feels soft and warm.
Her touch made me stay focused.
I see her starting to glow in strong silvery light, that grew very big around her.
I immediately understand that she is of divine origin.
I ask her to help me, and give me something to share with you.
she shows me that she likes to stay on the back of a couch where the sun is shining through the window. The couch seems beige but as I focus I would say it is brown.
She says: I’m an Angel. I’m here to guide and guard Sue. I’m on my 14th life with her here on Earth, but I don’t think she will recognize this. She smiles widely with her head slightly on the right locking her gaze into mine.
Her voice sounds like July Andrews or Eva Gabor the actress that is the voice of Duchess, in the Aristocats cartoon. She sounds LOVELY, kind, adorable, hug-able, I feel as I would never get enough of listening to her. 😊
Tell Sue, when she doesn’t feel right to always come to stroke me until I purr, and I will take her pain and upset away no matter the cause.
I’ve been a wolf and shark before for Sue.
I like to eat fish. Fish are pure.
I am mesmerized by her… her great silver energy radiating and soothing.
I ask do you have an advice for me for Sue?
She says she wants to let both of us and all students know: YOU DO IT! Stop thinking otherwise!
When you say, just put the words out, “I want to talk to animals” you already do it, because you thought of it! The secret is practice! And believe!
Believe in yourself no matter what!

She smiles again and and starts to fade away with all that beautiful silvery light around her.
Than I hear her: Hey! Don’t tell Sue yet, that I’m an Angel!

She again fixes her eyes into mine, smiling to bursting into laughter.

i feel I would like to feel again her touch on my face.

She laughed, because she knew I would immediately report everything to you.😊

Reading notes, I realize that besides a couch, that may be beige or brown I don’t too much for you to validate, BUT I hope at least this message, will give you a positive mood, and uplift your spirit.

Your conversation with Scarlett filled me with such joy and you absolutely tapped into her essence. I immediately stroked her 3 times and gave her a kiss on the head from you.

I’ve always felt she was from the Angelic Kingdom, and it was nice to have her validate that. I loved how playful she was about saying not to tell me. That’s totally her personality.

She does love to walk along the back of the couch. The couch is actually a light grey color, but in certain lights, it can look beige.

I have never seen the Aristocats cartoon, but when my sister first met Scarlett, she said that Scarlett reminded her of Duchess too – the way she behaves and sounds.

I am absorbing what she is telling me (and any other students that need to hear it) about believing in ourselves regarding animal communication. I still doubt myself and I know she wants me to stop doing that and just believe that I can do it. I will follow her recommendation to practice more.

I loved that she said to come to her when I’m not feeling right and to pet her until she purrs and she’ll take my pain and upset away, no matter what the cause. I look forward to doing that.

Scarlett is the soul of my most beloved cat that died 25 years ago. I have been blessed to have her twice in this lifetime, but I was unaware that we’ve shared so many past lifetimes together. That was exciting news for me and makes perfect sense for the strong connection we have.

I am so glad you did not hide away and were willing to openly share what you got with Scarlett by posting it. I know it’s vulnerable to post for everyone to see and face the possibility that it’s not 100% accurate. But the couch color was so insignificant and I would have missed out on all the other wonderful things you shared that deeply resonated with me.

Scarlett is a healer, so I fully believe that while you two were connecting, she was also doing healing work on you. So glad to hear that it left you with a peaceful feeling.

Here are my notes from the call. Scarlett is a total dream!

I was first immediately worried (as I always am) I won’t get the same as other people and she immediately interjected and told me to focus on what I am receiving, not others. Firm but fair comment and great advice!

She felt very relaxed, affectionate and felt like she was in a stylish home environment. I felt like she would like to be stroked from the tip of her nose all the way along her back to the tail, and possibly may dribble when she is feeling super affectionate. She showed me rolling on her back, but she did not want her tummy to be stroked.

She radiates calm, and her energy radiates around and shields your home. I felt her aura was pink and sage green. Her energy field felt huge and I wrote otherwordly. Her fur felt silky soft. She said all of her psychic gifts are online.

She felt perfectly balanced in herself. Physically I felt there could be something going on with her back right leg/foot (my ankle area).

She loves being a cat, I feel like she may have been other things in previous lives but really does love being a cat.

I then wrote routine home life (sorry I don’t remember the question or why I wrote this!) and then the message for you – time to step up!

Her role is to bring balance.

To me she said – it’s my turn (will have to ask again to find out my turn for what!!)

The last thing I wrote was that I can see the universe in her eyes. They felt like a literal portal to the Universe!

You did an amazing job connecting with Scarlett. I loved that she encouraged you to just focus on what you received.

Scarlett is very relaxed and has lots of love to share. You described how I stroke her – from the tip of her nose all the way along her back to the end of her tail and she does really enjoy that. You’re absolutely correct, she lays on her back and shows me her belly, but she does not really want me to rub her belly. I tell her it’s not fair to tease me like that.

I can’t see colors, so I can’t confirm the colors you saw, but describing her energy as “otherworldly” is very accurate. Her fur is silky soft, and she is utilizing all her psychic gifts and has access to all the Clairs.

I am not aware of something going on with her back right leg/foot/ankle, but I will keep an eye on it. She plays hard and could have easily banged into some furniture while chasing her toys.

I agree with you, Scarlett loves being a cat.

It definitely sounds like her when she said to tell me, “Time to step up.” She’s getting impatient with my self-doubt regarding my own ability to communicate with animals.

Scarlett’s eyes are captivating, and I can get lost looking into her eyes. Your description of them being a literal portal to the Universe is so true.

This is what I received. Hope something resonates. Sat 11 May 2024 0955 UK time

Scarlett is calmness amongst the chaotic/ chaos, joyful, very wise, peaceful, enigmatic, majestic lady that takes everything in her stride. Comfortable within herself and what she is. Sense she is or has been a soul of the highest order or from another realm. Likes to be indoors, not bothered about being outside roaming around. Enjoys creature comforts. Heard the word steak.

Whilst grounding I receive images of various designed suitcases and boxes whirling around and past me, similar to being inside a whirlwind/tornado that is pushing me in all directions that am unable to stand upright.

I cannot see Scarlett but know she is pushing to exit the swirling mass that slowly calms down, when it does she steps out and walks to me to sit upright like a statue. Her gorgeous blue eyes stay fixed on me as those she is reading me. I sense she is deciding whether to trust me. I wait and give her space. Scarlett pushes her head against my clasped hands wanting stoking and head rubs, which I do. Her soft, silky, deep, comforting fur gives pleasure to touch,.

Scarlett twists her body slowly to sit more comfortably on her belly, with paws in front, hind legs tucked underneath her body, sphinx style. Sense and feel, the nervousness of greeting me has gone. Her body is relaxed as she begins soft purring.

I introduced myself and sought her permission to talk to me. Scarlett flops over onto her right side, sprawled out and relaxed. She still watches me intently.

The sound of a speeding train and large letters spelling ’Train’ whoosh by cutting thru the silence

ME. Can you tell me how you met your mum. Scarlett stayed silent but sensed she was wondering if to tell me as it may be painful to recall or speak of it.

Am receiving flashes of a speeding train, a square dark brown wicker basket with leather straps to hold it closed. The train and carriages lurches as though going too fast to stay on the rails.

A woman stands up from her passenger seat and from the overhead luggage rack takes down the wicker basket and hands it to a young lady seated opposite. A tiny soft meow cry is heard from inside the basket. The leather straps are gently and quietly unbuckled and the lid lifted to reveal a small bundle of white fluff which she takes from the basket and holds it gently against her body.

It is love at first sight. The young woman and kitten were meant to be together. Soulmates.

A voice asks .Would like to have the kitten. The young lady instantly says yes, not thinking she would be given the kitten to keep. In an instant woman has gone leaving the kitten and young lady all alone in the carriage

Me. Is that how you met your mum.

Scarlett nods, saying. It was more than five years. I sense about seven to eight years together. Tells me she was given away. Not wanted. I apologize for her hurt and explain that was the past but since then and now, she is very much wanted, loved and her forever home is with Sue, her mum. S I know that now but I didn’t then. Me. Sometimes humans and animals have to go thru an experience to reach the human or animal we are destined to be with, all of which she understood and said it was meant to be

Her job is to give you love. To know you are not alone. Scarlett said. It’s been hard but it was the way to be together. It was planned. It’s a journey we all have to take in life. Life itself is a lesson and filled with love, forgiveness and being one with thyself. That is what living, is

Shown an apartment, kitten running around, playing. A woman alone but happy, a happy household. A yellow tablecloth covering a wooden table with spindle type legs. Shown an older well used but comfortable, welcoming kitchen, not ultra modern.

The home area is a town rather than a city. Heard the name Washington D.C

Scarlett is seated upright looking supremely In control as though this is a normal experience for her and has nothing more to say today. Feel Scarlett is more relaxed at the end of our communication as though a burden has been lifted from her. For her to breathe more easily

In your first paragraph where you describe Scarlett, I feel you very much got an accurate sense of who she is (although we have coyotes around here, so she never goes outside). She truly is a soul from the highest order from another realm. The adjectives of calm, joyful, very wise, peaceful, enigmatic, and majestic all describe who she is.

The rest of your reading was very detailed and descriptive, but none of it pertained to the life I now share with Scarlett. I also tried to look at it for the symbolic or hidden meanings using the information you shared, but nothing resonated with me. The only thing I can think of is that you may have picked up on another lifetime that I’ve shared with Scarlett, because I know we’ve had other lifetimes together.

You have a beautiful way with words. Have you ever considered writing a novel?

I connected with Scarlett just a few moments ago. She said she’d love to talk with me and that she’s been talking with lots of people. Scarlett immediately showed me what I believe is a small stuffed fish-shaped toy. She said she knew I’d want to know about her favorite toy because everyone asks her. She likes to chased it and claw and bite it. I was having trouble staying connected because my animals decided to start playing which was distracting. She asked who they were and I showed her. Scarlett gave me feedback on them as I showed her – my cat that rolls down the stairs – “not very dignified, is she?” Max, who is a fluffy cat like her – “Oh, I think I’d like him. He’s beautiful like me.”

I kept having trouble and Scarlett suggested I relax and take a deep breath. I did and then felt better. She seems very kind and patient. She feels like an old soul who is very nurturing and wanted to help me. She says she’s here to help teach all of us and wants to help me learn.

I asked about her mom and felt lots of love. This was the strongest feeling I got during our talk. She thinks Mom is the best – she tells her how beautiful she is, brushes her, feeds her, and says they are a team. I sensed a very strong bond. She said that Mom knows her and sees who she is beyond her outside beauty. She knows she is beautiful inside and out.

I asked about her home and felt a lot of light – like it’s sunny and bright. I got the impression there is a large window she can look out. She doesn’t like dark and rainy so is happy you live in a sunny place. (Not sure if that is right or if it is just sunny now.)

I asked if I could talk with her again and she told me certainly, that’s what she’s here for. She likes being the FAT. I thanked her for talking with me.

Thanks so much for connecting with Scarlett. I was amused by the feedback Scarlett gave you about your two cats. Funny girl.

Scarlett does not have a small stuffed fish-shaped toy, but since she mentioned it, if I see one at the store, I’m going to pick one up. She does like to chase, bite, and claw her toys.

She is very kind and patient and I’m glad she was able to help you relax. She is an old soul and very much wants to teach others and help you learn.

I am glad you were able to feel the strong bond that I share with Scarlett. Our love runs very deep, and I do tell her how beautiful she is every day and that we are a team. She has told me before that she appreciates that I can see her for who she is and beyond her outside beauty.

We live in Sunny Southern California, so you got that right. We had more rain than usual earlier this year, so Scarlett is happy the sunny days are back. She likes to sit in front of my sliding glass doors and look out, so that’s the large window you got.

I hadn’t considered that I might be seeing a desired item or even a future event. None of my cats have fish toys either, so would be a weird thing for me to make up, but who knows?

Hi Sue,

Indoors only or also outdoors ?
Is the question whether she should go outside or not an issue or being discussed or was it in the beginning ?
I feel she can go outside if she wants to although someone having been a bit hesitant about that at first. But I do not think she stays out there for very long anyway, or if she does then close to home or rather hiding under a bush or similar, not in plain sight. Scarlett is rather aware of danger outside and spends more time inside than outside.

The place where you live would allow a cat to go outside, so it is rural rather than city centre like (but I do not get countryside).

She likes fish

I feel she gets too warm easily so she is rather not the type to hang around amongst cushions and duvets for too long

Scarlett is strictly an indoor cat. We have coyotes where I live and cats cannot survive outside. She does sit and look out the sliding glass door longingly, so I got a stroller for her and I take her for walks so she can have a little taste of the outside while I can keep her protected.

Scarlett does like fish and I think it’s funny that she brings that up often.

I wasn’t aware that she gets warm easily. She does have a ton of fur, so that would make sense.

Here is what I got connecting with Scarlet.

I got that she is very much in control of all of the energy around her. She was walking around and greeting people on the Q&A call. I got an image of her sitting like the sphinx, very still with a very dignified and proud stance. He fur is very soft. She likes to be stroked down the sides of her face.
She is confident. Her energy field can fill a room – she controls it at will, expanding and contracting as needed. She likes to watch the birds. I just connected in again and here’s is what I got. I deliberately have avoided reading other posts so forgive me if I repeat or make mistakes which you have already corrected :).

At first I got a sense of a mischievous sense of humour.
She showed me putting her paws up. I didn’t really understand so I asked her what she had shown me. She said, patiently but making it clear she was having to make this basic: I put my paws up against the glass to catch insects. Her tail swishes as she watches and prepares to catch them.
She said: don’t judge the information you get when communicating.
I asked her what she likes about being a cat: The agile body, intelligence, elegance. A high level sophisticated being in control of emotions. She contrasted this with humans who are still learning this and it is all quite messy for us.
I asked if she found living with humans limiting. She said: Cats who live with humans have a specific mission. We accept the limitations.

I asked her about how she came to be with you. I saw in image of a basket. She said: I needed to be with Sue.
I tried to get some more specific information. I saw a picture of a tiny cat at the bottom of a big glass wall/door.
I wasn’t sure so I asked again. She said: Someone brought me here. It wasn’t part of Sue’s plan but it was part of mine. I saw a picture of a red ribbon. I also saw the colour pale pink. Perhaps a cushion.

I asked her about grooming. She said she sometimes has a soft brush on her back which is ok. Mostly I can look after myself. She is proud of and very good at this.

I asked her how I could help her today. She said: Please say thank you to all who have spoken to me. It is a release to talk and let people know what is going on. It eases the atmosphere.

As I was preparing to say goodbye she said: Love more. Fear stops this. The earth energy will sustain you. You can be delicate on the outside and strong inside. And I felt that she embodies this.

I was just going through the posts to make sure I didn’t miss anyone, and I see that I never responded to your second connection with Scarlett. Sorry for the delayed response.

Scarlett definitely has a mischievous sense of humor.

When I first read your post, I had never seen Scarlett try to catch an insect. But just the other night, she was asleep next to me on the couch and then she flew into the air unexpectedly. I had never seen her do that and was quite alarmed. Then I realized that a moth had gotten into the house, and she was trying to catch it. It was quite comical watching her jumping and swatting at the moth until she got it. So now I have no problem believing she does try to catch insects up against the glass doors.

I fully enjoyed hearing what Scarlett likes about being a cat. I like how matter of fact she is about accepting the limitations of us humans. She is definitely an evolved being.

I comb Scarlett daily with a metal Greyhound comb. Brushes can’t get through her long fur. She does extensive grooming daily and takes a lot of pride in maintaining her fur.

It’s interesting that you got a basket and a tiny cat (kitten) when you asked Scarlett how she came to be with me. Another person got those two things too when she asked that exact question. However, Scarlett came to me as a 4-year-old cat and there was no basket involved. Those must be symbolic because I don’t think it’s a coincidence that you and Sandy D. got the same thing. No one brought her to me. I went to pick her up. I put the details of how Scarlett came to be with me in my reply post to Shelly on 6/2 if you care to read it.

Red is Scarlett’s favorite color and why she picked the name Scarlett – so that is probably why you saw the Red Ribbon. I don’t think I have anything in my house that is pale pink, so I am not sure what she was showing you.

Scarlett absolutely embodies being delicate on the outside and strong inside. Scarlett imparted some good wisdom for us all to hear: Love more. Fear stops this. Especially when practicing our animal communication, we often let our fear of not getting it right stop us. If we just tune into our love connection, we will succeed.

I think it’s lovely that she extended thanks to everyone that spoke to her this month. She thoroughly enjoyed talking with everyone and will miss being the Featured Animal Teacher.

Hi Sue, thank you for allowing me to speak with Scarlett. I got most of the inputs during the call, and a bit more when I connected again this week. I have not read the earlier responses so as to stay objective, as I’m not very proficient.

She walks forward elegantly yet briskly, with a busy air, as if watching out for something, and lifts up her front right paw in greeting. She has piercing eyes and a sharp look, and is a keen observer. Like Klaudia, I get the image of grass all around her. She has a dignified personality, and a persistent low purr. She has a big aura, largely orange, probably indicating her high energy, but also with a few tinges of green. It is stronger around the shoulders. The fur is soft and smooth, fluffy in places, and she enjoys being stroked gently. She is composed and confident and seems to know she has a noble mission, sometimes lost in deep thought.

Is there some issue with the left side of the lower abdomen? It feels tender to the touch. Her main sense is clairsentience, as she indicates feelings. She is particular about her food. Her temperature is warm.

She is very contented and happy in her warm, comfortable home. Her role is to be an anchor and keep you grounded. I hear “I am with Sue” which I interpret to mean more than just the physical presence. She has been with you in an earlier incarnation. Did you have a pet who is now in spirit?
Her message to me was to be more confident.

Thank you for communicating with Scarlett.

She is very contented and happy in her home and she absolutely keeps me grounded. You are correct that she has been with me in an earlier carnation. She was my first beloved cat that passed 25 years ago. I knew she was special then and I feel extremely fortunate to have her with me twice in this lifetime.

On her lower left abdomen, she has a patch of matted fur that she is working to remove. She won’t let me assist because she wants to take care of it herself. I suspect it is tender and that’s another reason why she won’t let me touch it.

Scarlett is very particular about her food and is very much a foody.

I have found that Scarlett utilizes all the clairs and will communicate with someone in the clair they are most comfortable with.

Scarlett is composed and confident and without a doubt knows she has a noble mission. She does have a big aura, however, I don’t see colors, so I can’t confirm what you saw. Her fur is incredibly soft and she does enjoy being stoked gently.

The image of grass all around her may be her sharing the view she has out the sliding glass doors. She spends a lot of time sitting there looking out at the birds. She is strictly an indoor cat, so she never actually sits on the grass.

I do have a pet in spirit, my heart dog Izzi. She showed up in Shelly’s communication too. Izzi is always around me and I fully believe she would want to tell me to be more confident.

Nita, you did an incredible job connecting with Scarlett and Izzi. You have to stop saying that you are not very proficient because that may have been true in the past, but you’ve improved and your abilities are very tuned into the animal. For you to be able to distinguish between Scarlett and my animal in Spirit was very skilled. Thanks again for taking the time to talk with Scarlett and to post your conversation.

I agree with Sue, Nita. You are doing great and I am learning a lot from reading your posts. Positive thinking goes a LONG way and makes good things happen. I spent the last several years going through a new spiritual journey and part of that was learning the importance of positive thinking. Getting those negative thoughts out of my head had to be the hardest part of the journey because those negative thoughts became such a bad habit for me. So, every time I had a negative thought, I forced myself to retract it and restate a positive thought in its place. A positive mindset can make a world of difference. ☺️ stay encouraged, be brave, trust in yourself and your ability. You got this! 😄

Hi Sue, thanks very much for your encouraging feedback. How blessed you are to have your cat back again! I didn’t actually sense or connect with Izzi, nor do I think Scarlett said anything…just a thought that came to me! Maybe Izzi was around even though I didn’t feel her!

I totally agree with everything you say….I took up Pranic healing 9 years ago, much before AC….was doing well till we moved here and there’s so little time and energy to practice. I lost 4 of mine in 2 years, and as Val says, one has to heal first…I have a long way to go! But thanks to friends like you and Sue, I’m trying to get back to it and regain my confidence. Much gratitude and love.

Oh my, I am so sorry you lost 4 in two years. I didn’t know that. My heart goes out to you and will pray hard for healing to come your way and mend your heart! ❤️ I am even more amazed, now knowing that, at how well your AC still has been recently in your posts. That says a LOT about just how strong your AC ability is, even going through what you have gone through. Sending many hugs, love, and blessings to you!

Thanks again Shelly! I suffered intense trauma for 2 years after losing my first dog, resulting in debilitating physical issues…till I found Val..and I owe it entirely to her to have got some closure. I was able to cope better when my oldest girl passed last year, thanks to support and guidance from Val and friends like you. Just as I thought I was making progress, I lost a young boy in December, from being fine in the morning, gone by the evening. Then in February, my most abused and difficult (all my 9 are rescues) girl left in 5 days…don’t know if you had joined then, but I had posted on FB and the forum, and got so much help and support. Soon after, I had a coaching session with Val, and once again, she helped more than I can say and suggested some powerful strategies…The journey has begun, but I have a very long way to go. My main motivation to strengthen my AC is to be able to connect to my 4….you may remember that I asked a related question in the last call, and Val said healing has to happen first. Today around 12:30 or so (Pacific Time) I listened to the coaching call for June and communicated with Scarlett for the second time. She remembered me and welcomed a conversation. I explained that I was listening to the call as I was talking with her. She remembered the day and said she so wanted to talk with and help everyone but that it was a bit overwhelming having so many conversations at once. She asked that I shut off the recording so we could just talk because it was distracting for both of us.

She has so much wisdom and love to share. I tried to really feel her energy and I was reminded of a very calm lake, so calm that the reflections of trees and such are nearly perfect. Scarlett has that soothing, peaceful energy. She was happy to share it and says she shares it with her mom a lot. She feels it is important that she help her mom feel peace.

I asked if there was anything she wanted to share with me. She says she is very spoiled and wants for nothing, although, she would like more of something in a pink can. Salmon? A particular cat food? She knows she doesn’t get it all the time but really likes it.

There was a sudden distraction in her home and Scarlett had to run, telling me to come back again sometime.

Sounds like you really tuned into Scarlett. She does have a very calming presence. I like the picture you used of a very calm lake and the reflections of trees in the water being nearly perfect. Her energy is very peaceful and soothing. She definitely shares it with me a lot. I ask her for it when I need it, but I feel like she knows before I even ask that I need it.

She cracks me up. When asked what she wants to share, she often mentions food. She is such a foody. I’m glad she said she’s spoiled and wants for nothing, because since she’s always mentioning food, you’d think I never feed her. I think the food she asked for more of is albacore. She doesn’t get it very often, and she only gets a tiny bit, but she sure loves it.

I am so glad you got to talk with Scarlett a second time and that she remembered you and was welcoming. Feel free to come back and talk with Scarlett any time.

Thank you for letting me have a conversation with sweet Scarlett.
When I first connected with Scarlett, she presented as a cat that can be timid with others that were outside of her family. When it is just the family at home, she feels confident and will strut her stuff like she is walking down the runway of the red carpet.

She feels safe and loved by Mom and enjoys kneading on Mom when Mom is massaging her. She also enjoys the company of the man in her life as well. She never tires of hearing how beautiful she is. How beautiful her eyes are.

She is a ground dweller verses being up high. She can be found under a couch or a bed. She also may be found buried in a pile of laundry.

She gets very excited and becomes vocal when it is mealtime. She is very happy in her home and with her life. She gives everything a thumbs up!

Your description of Scarlett strutting her stuff like she is walking down the runway of the red carpet is the perfect picture of her. She is very confident and I so enjoy watching her walk into a room because she commands attention.

Scarlett loves to be adored and never tires of compliments. Which is good, because I can’t help but tell her how beautiful she is on a daily basis. Her eyes are mesmerizing. She enjoys kneading on me when she first wakes up. I don’t have a man in my life right now, but hopefully this means she will enjoy the company of a man when one comes into my life. She loves my undivided attention and I hope she will be able to share me some day.

You are absolutely correct – she is more comfortable nearer the ground than in high places. She enjoys being under the bed.

She always becomes vocal when it’s meal time and when I’m running late for meal time. She keeps me on schedule (her schedule, not mine).

It’s nice to hear that she is happy in her home and knows how much I love her. She is a very special cat and I just adore her.
