I intuited the time exactly without even trying. Just “thought” it was a particular time and saw that it was.

Platinum Member1) I re-listened to Keith Coley’s group meditation that I participated in, and I noticed a difference compared to the first time. Certain sounds that had previously bothered me didn’t affect me as much, and I felt much more present in my body. During the first meditation, I was more restless and received a lot of visual information. This time, however, I experienced more physical sensations.
2) I connected with three animal clients this week. One session was with a cat who had recently passed away. I had previously connected with the guardian’s other cats, and I typically prefer that guardians wait a week or two after a passing so the initial grieving process can unfold and they are able to receive the information more fully. However, she was adamant about connecting with her beloved cat right away. During the session, I noticed the cat seemed more distracted and primarily wanted to share how she was feeling in spirit and what she was experiencing. In comparison, other animals in spirit that I have connected with have generally felt more grounded and focused on the conversation. Although this was the soonest I have ever connected with an animal after they passed, the guardian was very happy with the session and shared that it brought her a great deal of comfort.
3) I am grateful that I had the opportunity to have people connect with Evie in another Facebook group, and I received some really encouraging feedback. Interestingly, several people mentioned that she wanted sweet potatoes. I also briefly connected with a dog who wasn’t feeling well in one of my practice groups. I kept receiving the impression that the dog’s immune system was weak, and everyone else in the group picked up on the same thing. I was especially excited because I didn’t use my usual connection technique. Instead, I simply listened to what the guardian was sharing and allowed the information to come through naturally, and the impression felt very clear.
4) My biggest awareness this week has been the importance of focusing on what I am actually receiving versus my own interpretation of it. I received some neutral feedback from a session with a dog. The guardian shared that the dog’s personality and reaction to strangers were quite different from what I had perceived. They also confirmed that an animal in the home had indeed passed away, but it was the guardian’s pet rat, and the dog and the rat were not particularly close, as I had interpreted during the session. Looking back, I think I received accurate individual impressions but then began interpreting them too much. For example, I correctly perceived that an animal had passed away, but the sadness I sensed may have been the dog reflecting or mirroring the guardian’s emotions rather than expressing his own grief.
5) No, I have not connected with Lili yet, but I plan to do so this month.
6) I started reading The Better Animal Communicator Workbook and used it to help me better distinguish between an impression or observation and an interpretation. I am becoming much more conscious of how information comes through and how I communicate that clearly during my sessions. I also searched for examples of phrases I can use that better reflect exactly what I received, without unintentionally adding my own conclusions or interpretations.

Platinum Member1. Meditation: chanting for an hour in the mornings and half an hour silent meditation following Val’s process in the heart meditations.
2. Had a very clear & helpful message from Elsa come through: I awoke in a state of anxiety where all problems become magnified in the night, I looked at her photo and received. Just follow your heart, step by step. And I felt so much love and reassurance.
3. Celebration & gratitude: starting to appreciate how sensitive my body can be rather than just struggling with it.
4. Understanding: beginning to wonder if the most useful thing I can do in this life right now is to focus and strengthen staying in my heart while in the midst of people who are the opposite. That’s what I’m really trying this week.
5.I connected with Lilli and have just posted. Such joy.
6. Been getting the phone calls right. I’ve also been getting understandings of who will contact me and later that day they do. -

Platinum Member1. What meditation(s) did you practice this week?
Heart wisdom love connection, Twin hearts (joined a 31 days meditation program focusing on one aspect every day, eg emotional healing, global blessings etc), The great invocation, Metta blessing and mindfulness.2. Animal Communication
Describe one communication experience this week.
• Animal’s name & species…not an animal, but a subject suggested by Val in a recent post on trees….connecting to a forest. We have a dense one adjacent to us, starting from our fence, and there are wild animals, especially leopards there. (which is why our dogs have to be indoors after sunset).
• What did you learn? I wasn’t sure who or what to connect to, so finally I invoked the spirit of the forest, the nature spirits and angels of the trees. I have had mixed feelings about the forest from the first day….it looks beautiful and lush from our fence, as it is at a slightly lower level. There are gigantic trees and one can’t see the undergrowth. But I somehow had a sense of unease and even fear of the unknown about it, maybe because there is so much folklore here about forests. I got a message not to be afraid, as nature also reflects life, which has good and bad. There can be some negative spirits even in the forest and these energies can permeate the surrounding environment (which may be why I have always felt undesirable energies in that part of the property) but one has to learn to live with all kinds of energies, and treat them as a part of the soul’s journey.
• What surprised you? The message itself surprised me, as I felt that my scanning of that area was largely negative energies. I hope it isn’t my wishful thinking or imagination!3. Celebration & Gratitude
What are you celebrating this week?
Share one thing you’re grateful for and one win, validation, or breakthrough.
I am grateful for Val’s wisdom and guidance….I spoke with a tree recently, but never thought of the forest! I am glad that I tried it…a small win.
I am also grateful for friends like Mary (Hill) who has been encouraging me and guiding me with simple steps to use the pendulum to clear and replace disease energy, and for the laptop, which has been threatening to malfunction. I’ve listened to all the classes and trying it now.4. Discovery of the Week
What NEW awareness, question, insight, validation, surprise, experiment, or breakthrough did you experience this week?
It was a minor breakthrough, but a surprise that I felt I did get a response from the pendulum.5. Featured Animal Teacher or Practice Lab
Did you communicate with this month’s Featured Animal Teacher or another animal in the Practice Lab?
If not, what’s your plan for practicing this week?
I will connect with the FAT during the call, and awaiting feedback on 2 communications from the Practice lab, so this week went back to nature.6. Intuition Development
What Intuition Development lesson or exercise did you practice this week?
What changed because you practiced?
This week I went through all the pendulum classes, and working on the last lesson, which seems most relevant for now. -

Platinum Member1.Guided meditation for the end of the day, a meditation to release tension and find stillness, mindful meditation to quiet my monkey mind, active meditation while barbecuing, Passive meditation as its getting dark outside and listening for any sounds.
2.Dog- Bauer from walking group. He loves to get on top of the picnic table and put his huge paws on my shoulders. He then licks me . I feel he senses I am different from the other walkers. Surprised me with a hug when I was sitting on the bench by leaning against me.
3. I am thankful Layla approached Christine who is a friend and animal communicator and wanted to get me a message about her food. I explained I had received the message from Layla. It was a strong feeling Layla was tired of eating the same thing after a month. She listed her likes and dislikes also, which I already know. Validation is that I picked up the messages about her food strongly. Layla also wanted me to know my mom and Abbey dog in spirit were here to help. Also archangel Ariel is here to help Layla heal. My win is Layla has had normal poop for a couple of weeks now.
4 I followed Val’s suggestions to ask my pendulum to clear Layla’s allergies to 0 and the pendulum swung weakly counter clockwise. Then I asked the pendulum to raise the spirit of a healthy spleen and it swung weakly clockwise. I was wondering why the pendulum was not energetic and do I have to repeat my suggestions again?
5.No I didn’t connect yet. Am I expecting quick messages? I get a feeling but it takes awhile and then I wonder am I getting anything at all? Val is right, If I don’t try more, then I get nothing.
6. I try to guess time by the setting sun. I love to sit by the lake and listen to the sound of the waves as they rush to shore and meet the sand. Also the night sounds then. I haven’t been to the lake in a long time and long to do so. I also love walking in the forest and listening to sounds there as well. It sooths my soul. It is too hot and Layla doesn’t want to come out. She hates the humidity, it makes her tired. I don’t like it either.

Gold Member1 Meditation:
Weightless by Union for anxiety
4-4-5 calming breathing exercises
Silent meditation – open to what I receive
2 Animal Communication
Several small unexpected incidents.
Ensuring Tuxedo Princess, Tabby Princess and myself (I’m an animal), as well as the many creatures and plants inside my home and in the garden, are catered for during these heatwaves.
Connected with the local council’s newly planted sapling on the opposite side of the path to my home. That I would water and take care of until it becomes strong and supports itself
3 Celebration & Gratitude
Celebrate the hope that I may have more time for myself for a week or so, to catch up with AC as I’m behind on many aspects. And to restart the energy healing course I dropped to complete Penelope Smith’s course. I’m always chasing time – thees not rough hours in the day. A time of clearing and change !!!!!!
Grateful for the newly planted sapling and the gardeners who made it possible. Looking out from my kitchen window, the sapling sits comfortably at the centre of the view, framed like a living picture.
4. Discovery of the Week
Maybe now is the time to take a serious look at what is taking my time and energy. I’ve been giving pieces of myself to different people and situations to the detriment of my being, leaving me drained, exhausted, and unable to focus on myself- and what I would like or need to accomplish
5 Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) or Practice Lab
Hope to connect with FAT during Sat call
6 Intuition Development: sensing the time has become almost second nature to me now, even though I’m sometimes 5–10 minutes off. On the flip side, because I roughly know how much time I have before my next task, I carry on working on what I’m doing, gradually wind down, and (hopefully) avoid rushing – not always though – have come unstuck at times.- lesson learned !!!!!

Platinum Member1. Which meditations did you do?
Heart wisdom meditation.
Quiet meditation
Grounding and protection meditation.2. Which animal(s) did I communicate with? What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience.
I connected with Peg’s Lily again to try to get some answers for Peg.
This brought up a conversation about it being difficult to communicate with our own pets, with Lily’s clear advice to just stop trying to guess and use what we know and just listen.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one & celebrate a win.
Coming away in the campervan and spending some time in the countryside and nature has grounded me. I’ve been calmer and so has Beau.4. Discovery of the Week.
Instead of simply asking what you discovered, I’m inviting you to go deeper.
Ask yourself questions like:
• What NEW awareness did I gain this week?
• What surprised me?
• What did I validate?
• What challenged my assumptions?
• What experiment did I try?
• What mistake taught me something?
• What breakthrough did I have?
• What new question am I now curious to investigate?I’ve been very surprised at how calm Beau has been whilst we’ve been away. I have been putting it down to the environment being better for him, but whilst writing the answers to these questions I’m now starting to ponder on whether it’s because the environment is also better for me and so I’m also much calmer.
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Not this week.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? What changed because I practised?
The clairvoyance exercise. I pictured Daisy bouncing around as a younger dog as though it was a video, zooming in and out. I have only just done this though, so no changes noted yet. -

Meditation: Breathing
Animal Communication: Only with our cats, Shasta and Lexi, helping them understand we would be gone for the day. I was surprised that Lexi left the room the way our Max cat used to when I told him things he did not want to hear.
Celebration & Gratitude: Lexi has learned to enjoy snuggling at night, on a fuzzy blanket, on either of her moms. She now anticipates that time together and waits, somewhat impatiently, for it. The new part of this is the consistency and her impatience!
Discovery of the Week: Magical Healing Goo! I have tried it a few times already with varying degrees of success, but I am dedicated to practicing. I think sometimes I am too much in my head about it, rather than in my heart, connected to Spirit.
FAT/Animal Connection Practice: I did not speak with our FAT for August, yet, but will later in the month. The days I had planned to practice didn’t work out due to our AC going out and having repair techs out at our house three days this past week. I also have realized I have a habit of wanting my timing to feel “just right,” not too sleepy, or having a headache, or one of several such excuses. I know this is something I need to confront and let go of.
Intuition Development: I reviewed Advanced Lesson #1 that I took overa year ago (I think) and am about halfway through Lesson #2. I have not had any training in Reiki techniques before, so this was a brief introduction. I believe there are other classes on this that I will look into. It seems similar to Healing Touch, that I have done some work in.
I did a Feel the Crayon colors exercise and did astonishingly bad. I’m not discouraged from trying again though. I did not sleep well and suspected I was not connecting well, but wanted to try the exercise anyway.

Snickers, Mini Australian Shepherd dog, male and 10.5 years old. This boy is so sweet and adorable! I loved connecting with him. His personality came through really strongly, and his mom confirmed what I shared with her about him.The main reason for this session was that Snickers has been struggling with sudden onset separation anxiety. His vet says it could be related to aging, but his mom has felt like there’s been something more going on. She’s been doing a great job working with her vet to ensure there’s nothing medical causing this challenge.
When asking Snickers about all of this, I was surprised how unclear it felt to go back to the root cause of his separation anxiety. I could hear dogs barking outside (he lives in an apartment building, so it felt more like near the sidewalk area). The other insight that came to me was this feeling of urgency from him, like him needing to tell his mom something. Other than that, I felt like I was sensing confusion from him. This has been going on for 2-3 months.
What surprised me was how clear he came through right before the virtual session. But then during it with his mom, I felt like it was “hazy” with the insights coming through. So… was that him, or me?
Anyway, with all that said… I was able to support his mom with a new way of training him. From this I feel like I’ve learned that the root cause may be unclear sometimes – but it doesn’t prevent us from finding a new path forward in support. Also, it’s okay to go back to the animal when you’re more relaxed and ask again. I feel called to do this with Snickers and just see if there’s anything I might have missed.
3. Celebration & Gratitude
I am grateful for the beautiful, colorful and fragrant roses on the table nearby. My aunt gave them to me as a thank you for tending to her garden last week.It felt really validating to have an image confirmed by Snicker’s mom. I’m so glad I asked her! He sent me an image of his paw on a hand hours before our session, like doing the handshake trick. I shared that with his mom and she said “yes he knows how to do tricks!” It helps me be more aware of the way animals are connecting with me, even before I do all my meditating!
4️. Discovery of the Week
This has happened more times than I can count, but this week I finally really acknowledged it: animals are ready to connect with us, and they know how to send us messages the moment we’re open to receiving them — sometimes hours before we officially sit down together.Last week, while getting ready for a session, I was thinking about a dog named Cici. I remember saying out loud, “you make a funny noise with your mouth, don’t you?” — then completely forgot about it once I started talking with her mom. Partway through the session, her mom mentioned something similar, and it all came rushing back to me.
That was the moment it clicked: I don’t have to wait until I’m formally connecting to start receiving. So I made a point of writing down any insight that comes to me, even hours before a session.
I’m so glad I did this with Snickers!
5️. Featured Animal Teacher or Practice Lab
Yes! I connected with sweet Lili today (and shared in the forum). I let the conversation happen naturally, while asking some questions along the way. She shared several images with me. I’m curious what will resonate with her mom!6️. Intuition Development
“Trust First, Validate Later” intuition practice exercise. This is actually something I do quite a bit with clients, but it felt even more relaxed today. I practiced this with Lili! To get myself grounded first, I did the Stress Busting RX Meditation. Then I said my intention out loud and then introduced myself. I had some questions of my own and then also was guided by this practice exercise. I also made sure to record any images that came through (there were a few I almost missed!).This exercise is a great reminder about the joy of connecting through curiosity. So many times we can get focused on getting things right. Practicing like this today was good for my soul and my body.

Platinum Member1. Meditation: my daily walks with ezla during which I connect to the elements and my elements and listen to gentle guided hypnotherapy meditations.I listened to one of Val’s guided heart meditations and group healings.Due to transmuting some health stuff, I fell asleep during the meditation while holding sebastians right paw with my left hand and my right hand out as to connect with the group energy. We experienced and shared in giving/receiving healing love light and I drifted off.
2. Animal Communication: I connected with Scarlet and we are going to connect again tomorrow. potent! I connected with yet another neighborhood kitty.I discovered his name tag — Oreo. I felt called to see how Ezla and Oreo would interact. So I meditated and mediated during their standoff. I picked a raspberry and placed it before Oreo as an offering of my love, not for him to eat it, just a gift. he sniffed it. we hung out for awhile and I communicated that he is safe and I sent images of Ezla and Oreo hanging out in a similar area, hunting, chillaxing, honoring eachothers space. I guided Ezla back home.I let Ezla know that I had his back and not to worry and that I hoped we could all continue our connection another time. Ezla is tentative about this but seemed relaxed, nevertheless, and very curious. I hope to keep meeting Oreo in the field of beautiful flowers and raspberries.
3. Gratitude: I am grateful for my upstairs window — like a perch right at the top of the white spruce trees — perfect for squirrel viewing — they are my most favorite of all.
4. Discovery: i discovered that ezla is a very good healer. I have been traversing acute pain this week and he laid on his paws in the exact spots needed, responding to my inner call for support.I did attune him to Reiki years ago. Ezla didn’t just leave his morning mouse offering at the porch welcome mat like usual, he marched right in and dropped the mouse while running to the food bowl. I celebrate my little ezla and his big win this summer — being outside almost 24 hours a day. He is usually always on his porch pillow waiting for me.
5. FAT:I look forward to connecting with cute kitty in the box!
6. Intuition: I followed some hunches regarding visiting a book shop and a coffee shop — both to nourish my poetry writing, which has been on a very long pause. This opened some pathways for my creativity. I am also called to dance.
