If you have the intuitive gift of Clairsentience, then keep reading to find out how to best use it!
If your primary intuitive ability is clairsentience, then you know first-hand how difficult it can be to explain how you know what you know, for reasons I’ll get to in a minute.
But, if you haven’t awakened or gained proficiency using your clairsentient abilities – especially with your ability to communicate with animals – then you will have difficulty receiving and/or interpreting many of the animals’ messages when they share them through the gift of clairsentience.
You might be wondering, what is clairsentience, and how do I access it?
Recently, we focused on ways to access/activate, grow, and use clairsentience in the Heart Wisdom Masterclass (for Platinum Club Members).
This is important because you need ALL 4 of your main intuitive abilities open, activated, and available to communicate with animals if you wish to become proficient.
Let’s review, the 4 main intuitive gifts are:
- Clairvoyance (the ability to visualize images in your mind’s eye monitor),
- Clairaudience (the ability to hear their thoughts inside your head),
- Clairsentience (the ability to feel what they feel, resonating with them at a visceral level so you just “know” what they know)
- Claircognizance (the ability to download instant clarity, big picture style, with full conscious awareness).
Everyone has all of these abilities; you are born with them.
Whether you’ve activated them and are using them with proficiency is another story.
To communicate clearly and easily with animals, you must meet them where they are. So if they are clairsentient and you haven’t developed your ability yet, then you won’t be able to understand what they’re trying to tell you. That’s not good….
What’s the difference between each of them?
Consider for a moment the idea of hitting a thumb with a hammer.
There’s a difference between hearing about it, reading about it, or seeing it happen, versus experiencing it actually happening to YOU in real time.
Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance would be the experience of seeing it – that could be reading about it in a book or story, or seeing a sticky note with the words “hit thumb with hammer”. Watching someone do it in a video or seeing it happen to someone else.
It’s not a visceral experience, it’s mental. Imagery only.
A concept. It may not be in real time, meaning it happened long ago, or could happen in the future.
It’s just an image. 
Clairaudience
Clairaudience would be the experience of hearing it happen to someone else – so in the video you hear a fleshy whack as the hammer hits, someone yells ouch, then a few cuss words perhaps.
Claircognizance
Claircognizance would be the Big Picture experience of knowing why it happened, getting the vector and angle and size and even the hardness of the hammer and type of hammer (Is it metal? Wood?
Stone? New hammer, or old rusty hammer?
A pin hammer, a child’s plastic play hammer, or a big sledgehammer, the kind that crushes rocks and bones?).
Who’s holding it, why do they have it, why did they hit the thumb, is it their thumb or someone else’s thumb, was it an accident or intentional?
Instant knowing of the thumb itself, was it a young person’s thumb, older person, an experienced carpenter or inexperienced.
Was it an accident or intentional?
How hard was the thumb hit?
Top of the thumb or side or underneath?
Did it break a bone or bleed, or bruise or crush?
When did it happen?
What was the hammer holder thinking at the time, and what did the hammered thumb recipient think?
Claircognizance is the experience of knowing all of this and more in an instant.

Clairsentience
Clairsentience is the experience of feeling it happen to YOUR thumb in real time. FEELING the experience in your own body, the jarring pain, the screaming nerve endings, the blood rushing to the wound, sticking your wounded thumb in your mouth or calling for help in an emergency situation.
Clairsentience is visceral, a personal experience, not mental at all. It’s all feeling, in real time, like it’s happening right now.
Do you get the difference?
If all your senses are active and working for you, you can get all of this information at once.
How incredible would it be to use ALL 4 of your senses with animals and access this kind of information, and discuss things with them.
For them to share what they know, what they saw, what they heard, and yes, what they felt.
Honestly, it’s life changing.
Highly sensitive empathic people are intimately familiar with clairsentience, because we FEEL so much, and a lot of it isn’t ours.
Clairsentience is perhaps the most powerful of all 4 senses, the most direct and fastest method of communication.
And yet it is the hardest of the 4 intuitive senses to explain to someone else – or defend.
That’s because it is visceral, beyond thinking, it’s knowing how something feels, and may not come with any real thinking to help explain it.
You have to process the information, figure out where it came from (is it yours or someone else’s).
And then, how to interpret the information properly.
Sometimes what you feel and know is beyond explanation, and yet you trust your knowing 100%.
To be sure, these are advanced skills.
Yep, that’s how it works.
These are the complex issues that my clients and students work on (and this is what I help them with).
The thought processes I’ve described here are the kind that I take my animal talk students through in The Heart School of Animal Communication® courses and in the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club, including the Masterclasses.
For instance, all 4 senses are introduced along with ways to access, activate, and build on them in the Beginning Core Foundations Course.
