We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!
To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.
Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.
Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column above the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).
Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them.

Hi Klaudia,
I’m connecting with Strolch as I write this. I introduced myself and told him I’m studying animal communication with you. I asked him if we could talk. He said, “Sure, but I don’t feel like it (for long)” He said he’s tired. I got that it was not from whatever is causing him to lose weight, but from playing. Then, I got it was a combination of the two.I asked if he could tell me what’s going on with him and that you said he’s losing weight. He said he didn’t know (what’s going on-why he’s losing weight).
I asked him if anything hurts. He said, “No.” “Dry” came to me, but I don’t think he said “dry”. He also said something about peeing. I’m not sure, but I think maybe he said it burns a little and smells. I also got, “I want to throw up.” I got that it’s to get the invaders out.
I’m not sure about the accuracy of this and would like to come back later to talk with him. I told him this. He said he feels fine and I got that he’s saying that because he’s a cat and cats cover up when feelings pain sometimes. I told him he wasn’t feeling fine. I petted his head and gave him a kiss and told him to feel better. I also got that he doesn’t have much time (if something isn’t done), but it’s enough to do something for him to fix the problem to where he’ll be well and live. I also got to check the kidneys and liver.
I’ll reconnect with him.

Hi Martha,
Sorry, I didn’t see your post earlier. I am checking the forum at present only once a week, when I do the accountability.
Something about peeing reminds me that a while ago he was crying in the litter box, but after a couple of days he seemed ok again. So I didn’t take him for check up. When we go for the blood test I will ask the vet to have his urine checked as well and to check for kidney and liver values.
Thanks for connecting with him.
