Hi Carmen!
I have scanned Scout, and in the beginning he seemed he is feeling cold, and than, while working on him I heard him say “Don’t stop that! I like it!”. I felt his body warming up. As he warmed up he showed me that he will lift up to eat.
I wish that what I did is for his highest good and that you will come back with good news.As an advice for everybody who’s reading, please keep in your house a bottle of Rescue Remedy. At least it will help during transport to the vet or any other location as cats are notorious for not agreeing to be handled or put in a box… and maybe some dogs too.
I learned that the best way to use it is to put if possible a drop in the mouth, and if not possible, take a deep breath and shake your hands and put a drop and rub on the inside part of the ear. I also put a drop on the blanket inside the cage where the head is so that it infuses the air. On my cats I do all of them.

I don’t see your message from yesterday about the area that you thought was bothering him – must have got lost in the internet ether! But, we think his issue is Pancreatitis which would be the right side so your thought was right.Thank you for connecting with him – he is back with his brothers and is much more lively.

According with Val’s email notification, it has been an issue from transitioning the website to a new server.While I was waiting yesterday (at least for me it has been yesterday 🙂 ) I’ve spent again a little time with him, and all of a sudden I got the thought or word “pancreas”. I did not dare editing or adding previous post as I thought that I may create confusions, but I got a certainty about it. This means he will need a special diet for a while, and a little extra TLC.
Honestly I’m so happy that he received and accepted the good thoughts and energy from so many people.Thank you so much again, for your reply, as it is a bless in confidence building. 🙂
