To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email Moderator@ValHeart.com
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

1. Which meditations did you do?
I meditate every night for about 20 min. Ambiance, Extended Awareness, Mindfulness Releasing Thoughts, Binaural Beat meditation music are the ones I used this week. During the day at work, I take a few minutes here or there to ground myself and have a short meditation, practicing quieting my mind during the exposure to distractions. Like Val mentioned in one of the lessons, you can mediate while washing dishes for example, so I learned that it isn’t necessarily about the body being still, it’s about quieting the mind and being able to quiet the mind while in the middle of commotion, helps you to be able to do it at will. So amazing to put that into practice.2. Practice communicating with at least one animal, what did you discover from the experience?
I communicated with a friend’s cat, Danny. I asked him a few questions: what was his favorite toy, what was his favorite treat, and where did he like to sleep when his human brother wasn’t home. I wrote down the answers and later asked my friend for feedback. She was super shocked because I got very close on everything. That was the first time I communicated with an animal and got feedback. It made me feel really great knowing I got the feelings correct from what I felt he told me. Gave me confidence that I can do this!3. What are you grateful for this week?
I am so grateful to have found Val and the Heart School. I am so grateful that animal communication is a REAL ability. I have put away all those past teachings about how talking to animals was not REAL. Now that I know I can do this and believe I have been doing it all my life but not realizing it, there is no stopping me. I will succeed! 🙂4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week?
I just realized that the beginning foundation classes may have been recorded years ago. When the class participated in the communication exercises with animal teachers, they were getting real-time feedback. As a student listening to the recordings, I didn’t think about that at the time and tried to practice communicating with the class. I felt I connected but my feelings were a bit different than the class responses. I know now that would happen, but it raises a good question for me: how do I know if an animal communicating with me is doing so in body or in spirit (when I am not told if an animal is in body or spirit)? Is there a way to tell without asking them that very question?5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
Yes, I reached out to 50 for a brief chat and posted my communication on that post. I could sense his sweet, very wise energy! Worked his way into the heart rather quickly. 🙂 This was my first FAT communication, so I sure hope I did okay! It will be interesting to see how I did. I know it isn’t about being right, it is about practicing. I won’t know what it feels like to get the “right” message if I don’t know what it feels like to not get that message. 🙂6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
The Communicate with Every Animal You Meet exercise. I practice greeting all the animals and critters in my backyard. I have quite the habitat in my backyard so I practice greeting the birds, lizards, bugs, squirrels, and even a small snake. It is helping me to remember how important the greeting is so I don’t forget to always start with that before going into a conversation. I am getting better interpreting when they want to talk and when they don’t. -

1.Meditation on mindfulness, Rx stress busting and detaching when needed.
2. A bird Robin that was stressed during the eclipse and tried several times to come through the glass. It finally stopped and sat after I reassured it. I talked to it as it sat on the ledge and then it flew away.
3. I am grateful my neighbor came over to help my husband cut down a broken tree limb after the storm. My husband is elderly and has Parkinsons and was using a chainsaw. The high winds broke the limb.
4. Why did the solar eclipse make the birds so unsettled?
5.I tried to communicate with the FAT but didn’t connect.
6. 5-Simple steps to developing your intuitive abilities. Practice helps. Always learn something new. -

1. Which meditation(s) did you do? Post at least one.
Twin hearts meditation, meditation on The Lord’s Prayer, Forgiveness meditation and Stress busting. I do the Ho’oponopono daily as directed by Val.2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with? Briefly describe what happened. What did you discover or learn from the experience? Post at least one.
Again, it’s been one of my dogs, Bholu, as he has developed some issues, been stressed and anxious and required a vet visit, so I’ve been connecting with him. I think I got some inputs, though it could have been my own reasoning.3. Name one (or more) thing you want to celebrate or feel grateful for. Post at least one.
I’m grateful Bholu’s diagnosis was not as serious as I was afraid it would be.4. What questions do you have about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
Are there times when we need to focus on healing rather than communication…I’ve posted this for the call.5. Did you communicate with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? What did you discover? If not, why not?
Not yet, I’m waiting to do it with Val’s guidance during the call.6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuition? Post at least one.
Thanks to the egg hunt, I realized that although I’ve been through the exercises, I have not made notes/recorded my responses, so it’s not been as thorough as it should have been. So I’m starting back again and this time going through each one more deeply and noting my progress. -

1. Which meditations did you do
Grounding Meditation. Practicing quieting my chatterbox mind, a problem I have
2. What is the name (or species type) of the being you practiced communicating with
From a distance, a lovely waggly tailed small dog, similar to a bichon frise kept looking in my direction. I asked him questions in regards to the park we were in, did he live far, his guardian chatting to a friend. He liked going to the park which was a few minutes walk from home. Was waiting for his guardian to stop talking so could be let off the lead to chase the ball and feel the wind rushing past his face. He was polite, saying, sorry but have to go now when the two humans made a move to leave. He made me smile
3. What are you grateful for this week
I feel better in myself now that the days are getting brighter and evenings are staying lighter longer with the benefits of getting more productive in my learning. Gradually moving out from heavy winter clothes.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries
The neighbours cat – Tuxedo Princess, was visiting me, She seemed unsettled, wandering around the house prior to the solar eclipse seen fully in the USA. During the evening’s solar eclipse the air felt colder, sky dull, cloudier awhile, here in London UK. Tried to reassure her. Could I have done anything better to help her
Was there a specific reason for her behaviour. Animals are more sensitive than humans and they know something will happen before we humans do. What/how is the impact of solar eclipse on animals
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher
Not yet. Will wait for Q + A call Saturday
6. Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week
Ambiance from room to room, in/out of buildings. As normal, greet animals that pass my path with or without them having guardians

1. Meditations: Soft Focus (3x), Mindfulness (x2), Breathing (x2)
2. Who I talked with: This week I talked with FAT, 50. I posted in the Forum. 50 recognizes that he’s learned a lot this lifetime – acknowledging the silly pup he was and though still goofy, is much wiser now. I sensed another smaller animal that he has to be careful with, maybe a puppy or a cat. He likes to put his paw on this animal to calm it down and thinks this is funny. I have not heard back from Amber as to the accuracy of our conversation.
3. Gratitude: Our oldest cat, Max, came up on the bed and spent about 20 minutes with me getting love and cuddles like he did before the new cats joined us. This was a big step and I am so grateful he is getting brave and tolerant enough to venture wherever he chooses, even if the kittens are around.
4. Discoveries: I know that clairvoyance comes most easily for me as I am very visual but am learning that if I pay attention, I can sometimes see colors (visual but in a different way) and sense feelings. This lets me know that I am developing my other “clairs” and that I can do this.
5. Yes, I spoke with 50, our FAT, just yesterday. See #2 above.
6. Intuition Exercises: Clairvoyance Exercise #1 from Intuition Development Exercises. Also, in Beginning Animal Communication course, I finished lesson 3 and am on lesson 4.

1.Did you meditate this week? If so, about how much time total did you spend meditating? What meditations did you do? If you didn’t meditate, why didn’t you?
Yes -but sporadic because the Easter break means there are people disrupting routine.
2. What is the name of the animal with whom you communicated this week? What did you talk about? What did you assist with or learn from the experience?
I communicated with Fifty. I will post. I’m not sure that I got anything factually verifiable but I want to go with what I got so I don’t break communication.
3. Name one thing you want to celebrate about your journey in learning how to communicate with animals this week.
I want to celebrate that I’m beginning to find some confidence again.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
Question: what happens when all the people around me decide I’m too “eccentric” and I lose contact with people? It’s a fear. But then I realised, I just have to make effort to meet people who are interested in the same things I am!
5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal of the Month (FAT)? If not, why not? If so, what happened (give us an overview of the conversation)? If you did, remember to post what you got in the Discussion with that animal if you have not already done so.
Yes. Will post.
6. This week did you practice one of the Intuition Development exercises? If so, which one? If not, what did you do this week to practice growing your intuition for easier connection and communication with animals?
I’ve been trying to feel earth vibrations. -

#1 Which meditations did you do?
I have been doing the breathing meditation regularly again, and not only is it helping me feel calmer and more present I can finally feel like I am able to fill my body with air without tensing up.
#2 What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
I communicated with a cane corso named Storm that I know well. She is in the early stages of pregnancy, and I have a question to post for this saturday’s call regarding this. I felt at the time she did not want this, but she has had leg and back issues and I feel like I am projecting my concerns for her regarding this.
#3 What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
Myself! I saw a post on IG about being grateful for yourself and I have tried it this week, and it has really helped me.
I got through the first round at one of the jobs I applied to, have another interview and possibly a third. There’s been no movement on jobs for months and now there seems to be loads!
A really lovely day on Sunday that could have been a really tricky day
#4 Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I was feeling a real slump about communicating and had stopped doing any regular practice for a while. I realise this was a combination of me feeling bad about it as I had one lady who would message me regularly to communicate with her animals, expect immediate answers so I would rush to help without getting myself into the right place and then worry so much if it was ‘right’. I also was helping someone who kept messaging me and then just stopped when I wrote a few things that I was getting from her (very sick) dog and she never replied again. I realise my confidence is fragile still even though it is over 2 years I have been learning and practising. And my boundaries are low. I also started following a lot of animal shelters and horse rescues to ‘motivate’ me to do more, and it did the opposite, I felt helpless and so depressed about it all. So I need to focus on the good that can be done.
#5 Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
No, I got tied up with preparing for the job interviews and applications, next week is for certain.
#7 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I have been using muscle testing a lot not sure if that counts!
Trying to intuit the animals under the lids of the petit filous yoghurts my daughter has
Trying to sense the colours of the cards before turning them over -

1. Which meditations did you do?
I did an animal Reiki technique from the course 3 Easy Ways to Heal Pets Using Animal Reiki, called the bridge and also the exercise Becoming an animal, experiencing their feelings, their thoughts… I often do this when I have lessons with people and their horses, and always when working with so called problem horses, I call them horses that have problems with their people 🙂
And as in my previous weeks, I am practicing yoga 3 times a week. This week I was able to stand on my hand for the first time.2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills. What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
This week I focused on healing. I returned to the book Healing for Horses by Margrit Coates, I was at her course last September and started practicing.
I talked to my Shagya Arabian Mare Kordula and started healing at Brachial Major Chakra and then followed by the Heart Chakra. She needed to keep moving and was observing me a lot, thinking why we do not run together or just do not go eating the grass as the last time, so she was a bit impatient at the beginning. But then she started chewing and blinking her eyes and got relaxed. I really enjoyed it.
The next I asked the 15 year old Welsh Mountain Pony mare for the healing as I felt she needed it. It took some time before we connected but then she started licking and chewing, I could see muscle twitches, shivering and at the end she was a bit sleepy and was yawning. She told me she was sad because even though she is the little pony, she needs the full attention of an adult, talking to her with respect and listening to what she is telling us or asking us for. She has many melanoma around her body and she told me that she feels this time fully spent together may help her to heal. So I promised I would take time to give her the attention that she really deserves. I could see her first and second foal and topics connected with it that I was already talking with her some time ago. She needs me to have it in my mind, it is very important for her.3. What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I am grateful for my restart with my healing and connecting more with my horses.
I am grateful for my therapist that helped me to see my value and helped me to move from the point where I was blocked.4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
I started to go through your bonus course Paws Before Dying and the article Don’t Screw Up Your Dog. It all gives me sense. I was just wondering why raw fish is wrong for dogs. Please, Val, could you explain it to me. Because I can see it being offered in many barfs for dogs. Thank you.5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
I did not yet. I felt I needed to spend more time with my own horses and dogs and start healing and communicating with them this week.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I did many exercises covered in your courses as I mentioned above.
I practice every day being present, centering myself, connecting with my heart and connecting with my gut. I ask questions and wait for my intuition to kick me. And my children started to ask me when they cannot find something and I usually find it very quickly, so I really like this game with my children :)).
I will tell you what happened to me today. I ordered the horse food and usually the transporter takes the bags with the food into our house and I just let my husband assist him, not checking it as it always used to be ok. But this time I had a strong feeling in my gut I should go and check it so I did. And you know what, I had two bags that I did not order :-)). My intuition is becoming better :-)).
And in the Upload Attachment you can watch Frog singing in the pond near the house where we live. I just love it, so enjoy it :-))) Oh, how can I attach video? it is only 47 MB but it doesn’t let me. Maybe I can send it otherwise..? -

#1 Varying meditations…Passive/Active, Stress Buster (I turned into a longer meditation on my own).
#2 I talked with my cat, FiFi. I asked her if she was happy living in our home which can be noisy and chaotic at times. (FiFi keeps to herself and can often be found in a pile of laundry or sunbathing by herself. She doesn’t join in on family time). She confirmed that she is quite happy living with us. She wouldn’t want another family. Her purpose is to be a healer for my youngest son and she is not done. She likes hearing the noises from afar while snuggling under covers by herself. When she wants company, she comes out. She is happy with the way things are.
#3 I would like to celebrate my continued focus on bettering myself in receiving communication.
#4 Why do I sometimes get a strong connection where I do not question the connection and then other times I am suspicious of the connection to be genuine? My approach remains the same, although the outcomes differ.
#5 I have not yet communicated with this month’s FAT.
#6 Finding the eggs was a good way for me to review intuition classes. I am constantly trying to be present, opening up all Claires throughout the day. My auditory has strengthened.
