To help you stay on track growing your communication abilities, each week answer these 6 questions. As an ethical bribe incentive, when you post your answers for 12 weeks in a row, Gold and Platinum members earn a free Student Breakthrough Laser Coaching Session with Val (regularly $125).
The 6 questions you are tasked with answering each week address multiple and interconnected areas and are clarified below. Please post your answers with specifics for each question.
The goal is to guide you to become more consciously aware of your journey, to celebrate your successes and share any perceived “failures” so they can be acknowledged, learned from, healed, and cleared.
You don’t have to be perfect, just do your best completing each assignment every week. Practice with animals and receive proper feedback about what you got (example: talk with Featured Animal Teacher) is the best way to know if you’re doing it correctly, if you’re making mistakes along the way, and help you discover what adjustments could help you improve.
Rather than copy and paste the same answers every week, the answers must be unique each and every week. If we feel you are not putting real effort into this or trying to hack the system, then you will be asked to try again. If you still don’t improve your efforts, then your weekly posting sequence count will start over.
HERE’S HOW GOLD & PLATINUM MEMBERS EARN REWARDS:
1) Each week there will be a new Accountability Discussion posted for the current week period.
Post your answers anytime from Thursday through Wednesday. If you miss the weekly deadline to post, you will have to start over with your weekly sequence count.
2) When you’ve successfully completed 12 consecutive weeks of posts you will receive an email from the Coaching Club Moderator with the Subject “Congratulations – you’ve earned a coaching session with Val.”
Your Congratulations email includes instructions on how to schedule your reward Laser Coaching session with Val. You can use your session for communication coaching, intuition development, mentoring, healing, and/or Val’s help working with your own animal(s).
Refer to your Welcome Module in your student member dashboard for more detailed instructions about the Accountability exercises and office policies.
6 QUESTIONS
Answer these 6 assigned task questions in the REPLY box below. Be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. If you did not do a task, you get 1 free pass during the 12 week period. After that if you’re still not making the effort to complete the required assignments, then your 12 week counter will start over.
1. Meditating is important to your progress because it makes it easier to connect and communicate with animals, releasing mind chatter, improving your ability to be fully present. There are thousands of different kinds of meditations, taking anywhere from just a few minutes to an hour or more. There are no good excuses to not making the time to meditate during the week. You have a Meditation Module in your membership with many of our favorites especially designed for our students.
Which meditations did you do?
2. Practice communicating with at least one animal each week to strengthen and grow your communication skills, and so you can get validation and confirmation. It is often easier to communicate with animals that are not your own. Visit our Animal Teachers page or our Featured Animal Teacher and share what you get so their person can give you the proper feedback to grow your skills, or correct and learn from mistakes in our safe community.
What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
3. Celebrating connections, life, feeling love, appreciation and practicing gratitude is important. There is always something to appreciate and for which to be grateful.
What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
4. Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
5. Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? You have many to choose from (in your student dashboard under the Welcome Module). These are not games, they are exercises I designed especially for you. Do not use an intuition game app. If you didn’t do one of our exercises, reconsider what you did do and instead of answering “no” or “none this week” (which will disqualify you from earning your reward), reframe what you DID do and which senses you noticed or focused on instead.
Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
We look forward to reading about your week. You are welcome to comment on anyone else’s posts offering encouragement, loving support, and celebrating successes. After all, we are here to learn from and inspire each other too!Need help or have a question? Click Reply below, OR look under HELP in the top menu, OR email Moderator@ValHeart.com
TIP: We recommend you type your answers elsewhere first, such as in a document in Word, Google docs, or Pages, and then copy and paste them into the Reply field below. That way if something glitches with your post, you won’t have to start over rewriting your accountability post.
NOTE: All students are invited to participate, but only Gold and Platinum Club Members are eligible to earn the Laser Coaching Session Rewards. Silver members can Upgrade to Gold or Platinum membership at any time by emailing Support@ValHeart.com and letting us know your wishes. Put “Upgrade” in the subject line.

#1 Meditation has consistently become a regular part of my daily routine.
#2 This week I talked with Luna, an 11 month old Pit Mix who was eating rocks. Her Mom was worried Luna would hurt herself and wanted Luna to stop eating rocks. Luna is a vibrant puppy that is in play mode 24/7. I asked if we could talk about her eating rocks and why it is so dangerous. Listed 3 negative outcomes from doing this, which she was unaware of. Luna liked to throw the rocks up in the air to play with them. She didn’t know they were dangerous. Then Luna showed me a video of her playing with a ball with a stretchy string attached to it. She could replace that ball for the rocks and if she lost it her Mom could get it for her. What a brilliant idea! Luna, you are amazing!
#3 I would like to celebrate my continued consistency in focus in practicing and developing my AC skills.
#4 I’m wondering if my skills would strengthen quicker if I chose one thing to improve on and focus on that versus general daily practicing. 🤔
#5 I did connect with 50. He came through like a cool Grandpa type that was loved by everyone. He is the center of the family and still goes everywhere that he can with the family. He still has adventures within him, so don’t count him out just yet!
#6 I have been listening to the many sounds outside and trying to pick out a certain sound and blocking out the other noises in the background.

1) I’m new to all this, so my meditation was the first one that Val posted in our lessons, a five-minute stress reduction meditation.
2) I spoke with 50, the featured animal teacher. We talked about his favorite things and people and then I asked if he had anything to teach me specifically today. He said, “Let loose,” which I take to mean to get out of my own way and stop trying to control everything! He is a generally happy guy, although I got the distinct impression he had a bad him, though it felt good today. He has a sense of humor–I tried to describe him as an older dog and he said, “Just plain old,” which made me laugh.
3) I’m grateful that my own animals were quiet enough for me to hear from 50. We live in an animal-loud household, so this was amazing!
4) I’m learning about all the ways we can help ourselves get out of our own way in communicating with animals and in life! I just completed the Awaken Your Inner Guidance System course and I’m learning to negotiate with my anxiety (what if I can’t do it? what if I do it wrong?) in a way I’d never realized was possible. I wonder what kind of being my anxiety is (i.e. Protector, etc.)? How do I know?
5) I connected with 50, as I mentioned above. He seems to be a wonderful boy who told me I could come back and talk to him again anytime. He said he loves people!
6) I did the very first exercise, the one where you take different colored crayons and try to feel the difference between them. My strength is clairsentience, so this was tough for me and I didn’t do very well. I’ll keep working on quieting my mind through the meditation exercises and get better!

1. Which meditations did you do?
This week I spent 20 min each evening meditating to ocean wave sounds with soft relaxing meditation music and incorporated the heart wisdom love practice at the same time, to expand my light to all beings around me and beyond. I noticed when I finished and went outside afterwards, there were more wild animals in my yard than there were when I didn’t meditate and went outside. I think they are enjoying sharing that space with me now. 🙂2. Practice communicating with at least one animal, what did you discover from the experience?
I communicated with Max (Dakota’s kitty cat). I posted my conversation with Max on that ATH forum post. I got to really experience this time just how different it feels between communicating with a cat vs a dog. I communicated with my friend’s cat not long ago but that was early in my learning, so I didn’t notice that at the time until I chatted for a longer time with Max. I also got to see from Max how even though his friend Jasper is no longer physically with him, there is really nothing to miss because they don’t leave us. That helped me in dealing with the emotions I still hold on to about my pup Cubby who went to be in spirit years ago.3. What are you grateful for this week?
I am grateful that Terrianne helped me realize that I still had some unresolved emotions about Cubby’s passing so I could deal with those properly and also how to send off sad/negative emotions prior to AC. I am grateful that Max helped me understand that just because they may leave us physically, they are still with us. 🙂 I am grateful for all the animal teachers and for my classmates and for Val giving us a safe place to come together, to practice, and learn from one another.4. What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week?
I spent the week going through the Paws Before Dying course and that helped me in processing those remaining emotions of guilt, the not knowing, the what ifs, etc. about Cubby. I also learned from Terrianne’s advice, the importance of pushing those sad emotions aside, pack them up and send them off prior to AC so that I don’t transfer those emotions to the animal I am communicating with in the present. I was having trouble doing that when I was practicing Animal Reiki because I got sad about their situation but when I put in my mind that I was being selfish if I didn’t put those emotions away, it helped me to refocus on the healing energy and not on the sad emotion energy.5. Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
I didn’t get a chance to reach out this week. I did connect with him the first two weeks of this month.6. Which Intuition Development Lessons and Exercises did you do this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
Since I am still having trouble with the crayon color exercise, I decided to table that one for a little while (I’ll come back to it later) and instead focus on the clairaudience conscious breathing exercise. Maybe if I start with more simpler exercises, I can build them up for the more challenging exercises. -

1. Mindfullness, Quieting my mind and listening. Also I meditate before detaching at bed time.
2.An ant, a chipmunk on the trail walk and a rabbit. I told the ant the consequences of not listening, the chipmunk came to ask for food, the rabbit showed me where it was living when I asked. If I try too hard, it goes nowhere.
3.I am grateful for the support of my husband and his belief in animal communication. Also grateful for my hubby giving me the extra sessions with Val.
4.Don’t try so hard to communicate, relax and it will come.
5.No I didn’t try this week, too much going on family wise.
6.I tried the new one and need more practice. I guess at the time and am pretty close. I listen with the feel of my hands and I am going to try to identify the species of tree by feeling and smelling them. -

Hi Sandy! I was having the same issue so I wanted to share with you what I do to get around that in the meantime until they are able to fix it. 🙂 If you click on the option for the Coaching Club Dashboard (rather than on the Meditations option) and scroll down the page (on the dashboard page), there will be another spot to click on for the Meditations section. That is my workaround, as I experienced the same issue as you did. Hope that helps! 🙂

Aha, I see exactly what you’re saying now, Sandy. I checked your login and clicked on those two dropdown links and was taken to our coaching club sales page. I will get in touch with our web team and see what the issue is. Shelly is correct, this is the workaround, you can scroll down on the dashboard page and go to the “module” title Meditations and Exercises.

1. Meditations: Breathing, Mindfulness, Guided (from course). I did each more than once.
2. Who I talked with: Shelly C’s little dog, LeBeau. (I don’t think he has pictures posted publicly, yet, but he gave her permission for me to talk with him.) He had lots to say, was very excited, showed me how he likes to run around, and wanted to know about me and my animals. He is very curious! He had a message about sounds that made sense to his mom. It was a good talk. 🙂
I also talked with my cat Max – really, I am always talking with all of our furry family members – but I specifically tuned in to Max a few times. He was super happy that Shelly C. talked with him and when I read the feedback out loud to my wife, Max came running in to hear all about it. He laid next to me and purred while I read and talked about him.
3. Gratitude: Today I am grateful that Lexi (one of the newer cats) snuggled next to me for the first time, even napping against my leg for a while. I am also grateful to Shelly for partnering up with me so we can practice with each other’s animals and support each other.
4. Discoveries: I am starting to feel various parts of my life and my studies come together. My wife’s experiences with spirituality and meditation are very similar to the things Vals teaches, and I am becoming more aware of my own awareness. It is easy to switch into seeing what a given situation is like from my dog’s or cats’ perspectives and how joyous it is to hear all the sounds and smell the smells. It is calming and is bringing us closer together.
5. FAT: I did not speak with our FAT this week, but have checked in with 50 twice this month.
6. Intuition Exercises: Be the Animal, continuing with the exercises in the book, True Purpose. I am making good progress and believe I am on my way to discovering a purpose that I didn’t expect but makes perfect sense. It’s quite exciting! I finished Lesson 5 of the Beginning Animal Communication course and am starting the Bonus classes.

#1 Which meditations did you do?
Continued breathing meditation, Heart meditations, I did a group in person meditation which was really nice, regular grounding meditations
#2 What is their name if you know it and what type of species? Briefly describe what you talked about. What did you discover from the experience?
This week I connected with a missing dog Dotty, who I was sure was alive (as can be) and felt that she was wagging her tail and happy the last time I connected with her, before finding out she was home. I realise the importance of my ‘helpers’ when I get asked about missing animals, and the energetic work behind them getting home. Also not to be so hard on myself with missing animals as they are really tricky.
I also participated in an in-person animal communication day at an animal sanctuary where I connected with chickens, donkeys, a cow, a sheep and some emu. So much I could write about this but it was beautiful, and the emus were truly old souls and so healing.
#3 What are you grateful for this week? Post at least one.
I got offered a job, in a very friendly local company which is brilliant
Grateful to spend the time at the animal rescue and connect with new people
After over two years studying animal communication I finally posted about it on my personal FB and IG. This is a huge step for me
#4 Questions and/or Discoveries!
What questions do you have or what discoveries did you make about communicating with animals this week? Post at least one.
That I often stall or don’t do a communication because I am worried I will get it ‘wrong’
Momentum is everything and I need to keep going as been on a roll this week!
#5 Communicating with our Featured Animal Teacher (FAT) of the month is a great opportunity to grow your animal communication skills. You are required to attempt at least one FAT communication per 4 week period.
Did you communicate this week with the Featured Animal Teacher? If not, why not?
No, I will do over the next couple of days for sure
#7 Which of the Intuition Development exercises did you explore this week? If you didn’t do one of our Lessons, what else did you do to practice growing your intuitive senses?
I have been doing the lean in very often this week. Tried to intuit whether land or sea animal only behind yoghurt pots (last ditch attempt before moving on) -

I’ve been doing usual morning meditation before work, and Val’s love for self and other meditation before communicating with Elsa.
I practised with Elsa – very interesting. I realised I had to give up on words. I felt her energy and she led me into a moment where we lay with our feet/hands/paws together and she embraced me energetically. I learned even more that words are limiting and while they provide me with a sense of security, they limit her.
I’m grateful for a book recommendation – the war of art. I’d recommend it to help stay focused with AC!
I have shared my discovery about the limitations of words above.
i haven’t communicated with Fifty again, but I’m veyr grateful for Amber’s feedback.
I haven’t done any deliberate intuition training.
