Please post your questions and re-post questions you previously posted for our next Gold & Platinum Member Live Monthly Ask Val Anything about Animal Communication Call on Saturday, January 8 at 8:30 am Pacific / 10:30 am Central / 11:30 am Eastern Standard Time. (Q&A = Question and Answer). The deadline for your questions to be considered for the call is 12:00 noon Eastern the day before.
NOTE: Check your Gold or Platinum member Course lesson on QA for a new call in phone number.
If you call in using the Internet, please type in your name so we know who you are and don’t drop the Anonymous caller.
If your question is related to communicating with a specific animal, please attach their picture using a small sized image that is named with your specific animal’s name and your name. This allows all of us to practice our communications skills along with Val.
With all the great questions you’ve been submitting, we increased the length of the call up to 2 hours to provide more time for Featured Animal Teacher live communication and feedback AND to answer more of your questions.
NOTE: The Live Q&A Monthly Coaching Call is an opportunity reserved for Gold & Platinum Members Only who are in good standing in the Club (membership dues are paid up). If you’re not a Gold or Platinum Member and want to participate, email ContactVal@ValHeart.com and ask to be upgraded now. Call information will be provided by email to active members.
If, instead of calling in from your phone, you are using VOIP on the conference line, please include your name as any unidentified callers will be dropped from these private calls. We do not recommend using Skype for these calls. If you have any trouble getting onto the conference call live, email Moderator@ValHeart.com to ask for assistance.
Calling All Questions! If you’d like a chance to get a hot “love” seat in the next call to interact personally with me, then post your question here no later than 24 hours ahead of the class time to assure that they are included on the call. Questions are normally answered in the sequence in which they are posted, so it is best not to wait until the last minute. Be sure to post before the deadline of 12 noon Eastern on Friday, the day before our QA call.
Remember to let us know if there are specific topics on which you would like more teaching.
Prior to the Call, I’ll review the questions posted and will choose how to best answer them in the time we have. Some questions may be combined or adjusted, answers combined to be of great interest to the group. Typically questions are answered in the order in which they are received and we may not have time to answer all questions during the call. Come prepared with your questions as this is your time to get the answers you need to move forward in deepening your animal communication skills. If you have a deep, personal or urgent question, you may be better served by signing up for a personal session.
There will be a recording of the call available after the call within 48 hours. However, student interaction can be the catalyst that produces remarkable insights, and your participation is vitally important. Please plan to be on the live call.
Thank you for being a member of the Coaching Club and for sharing your love of animals with all of your fellow students. I’m looking forward to hearing what’s on your mind and discovering how I can best guide you on your journey!
Love, Val

I would like to know why my 2 male cats brother, Vayu and Sufi, fight not too seriously almost every day? There is no injury or anything like that but some fur do fly away.
-Sometimes I am aware that if they are asking for food or going outside and I don’t want to do so, I see that they just want to get my attention as they know I will come and asked them to behave, and they both look at me like we got her to come to us and maybe she will give in? -And other times they are just sleeping in each other arms and they wake up and start their little ritual of attacking each other for no reason that I know of.
-Some other times they are running and playing and it may escalate to a battle like 2 little boys fighting as the game got too rough.
-I feel that it is not too serious because it does happen when i am away too as I see the fur when I come back home on the bed or other places in the house but they are doing just find like nothing has happened.
Except for these little daily explosions, they are getting along and sleeping together and grooming each other, sharing their food, spending time outside together, etc…. I just wouldn’t want it to escalate and would really like to know how to manage this situation or maybe let them sort it out? But I believe in being proactive when you have 2 or mor pets. I am asking as I am not getting what is going on as I have a hard time connecting with my cats and getting any answers?
It seems to be coming from Sufi?
Also, Vayu does not sleep with us anymore? Only Sufi I wonder if it is related? Or is it that Vayu is guarding the house while Sufi is guarding me during the night, ha!!! Ha!!Attachments:

To follow up on the class on what we consider “pests” I would like to discuss how to address the issue with the persons having the problem. We need to also attend to them and their energy contributing to it.
Also, how to make sure we are connecting with the so call pests in the household or barn or office? i supposed we have to be quite intentional when we want to connect with it or them? I feel it will be different and a bit harder as they are not the pet’s person but more wildlife animals. Thank you! -

Regarding lost animal: Have you worked with power animal to help track and guide a lost animal back home? I know you are not presently working with lost animal but i am sure you did in the past. I remember years ago hearing a student in Europe in my class using a wolf to help her track a lost animal, it was a long time ago and I don’t remember quite what she was doing. i would like to hear what you think of this idea?

Do animals know in-depth their health issues? I know they can identify what issues they have, the area, etc., as evidenced by Val’s affirmation of my dog Katie’s hot spot, but can they identify more complex issues? My dog Frankie had two seizures on New Year’s Day. Would he know what causes them or how I can help?

I often feel that when I am connected or trying to connect with either the FAT or one of my kitties, that one of the others “hijacks” the conversation and all of a sudden I am talking to a different one. Is it possible that they are competing for my attention? (there are 4 of them). I then become somewhat confused and distracted. I am still a newbie at this , so certainly not advanced enough to host a group communication. Or could it be that my intention is not clearly defined enough before I try to get in my heart space? Or maybe my ego is butting in too much? Not sure how to handle this…

I feel like toxicity from the flea repellant use over the years on our pets, i worked with many animals who had experienced seizures from this. Feels like this may be the situation here?

Hi Berenice, Thanks for offering a possible reason for Frankie’s seizures. However, he’s had bloodwork done and there wasn’t any indication of that; plus, my dogs don’t get Frontline every month. Vet specialists he’s seen seem to think it may be heart-related. Based on Val’s reading, though, I’m still wanting to discern the toxicity isses. Thanks again!

Hello Val,
This is about asking animals for signs to show they’ve heard us or understood something. Some animals seem to do this, and others don’t. Is this just down to the fact that they may not have heard or understood? Is it too much of a people thing for some animals? Do we miss the signs? The answer to this may be down to individuals but I think I see a pattern (not just across my practice sessions, other people’s too) of it working very well with some animals, and not at all for others. Elsa is a specific example – she never seems to give signs and yet I’m pretty sure she understands a lot. Or am I just missing them? How can I tell she’s understood if I’m trying to tell her about changes to routine and things like that?
Thank you, Rosemary -

Hello Val,
I have been trying out my new animal Reiki skills on my two male cats, Roo and Salazar (Sal).
Roo (11yo) is a skittish boy with a prior hx of feline tooth resorption and lost most of his back teeth about 5 years ago. He often looks to be in pain. He has always had digestive issues as well, and has been on GI sensitivity food for years. I thought that might be attributing to his pain.I then received an impression from him that leads me to believe he may be experiencing headaches behind his eye. He is impossible to corral and take to the vet, regardless of how much I prepared him beforehand. The last time I tried , it was literally a cat fight, which I lost and there was blood shed (mine) so I finally conceded. During a Q&A class I was listening to 2 weeks after that, you covered this topic. You effectively said that we should respect the animal’s choice if they understand the consequences , but still refuse to go. I felt absolutely horrible and spent the next week apologizing to him for trying to trap him into the crate. I think that’s why he won’t let me near him.
Sal is 4 and has been very vocal and experienced GI issues since we brought him home as a kitten. He often yowls across the house in the evening. I always feel like he is trying to tell me something is wrong, but maybe he is just a talker. He has been seen multiple by 3 different vets who have never found any basis for his issue. ( Both boys just throw up a lot) He too is on a hydrolyzed protein diet. And fortunately, more agreeable to the vet visits. Once while in a meditative state, I received an impression that was almost like looking through a kaleidoscope and then formed what looked like an ulceration.
So these issues are why I am pursuing my Heart School degree in Animal Communication and my Animal Reiki online course. I have consulted animal communicators in the past, with some luck with Roo. ( she discovered Roo’s tooth problem which I had to guide the vet to find) Clearly they were not of your caliber, Val but it was helpful. I also use flower essences to try to help with their anxiety.
have been working on my own healing and becoming more proficient at meditating, but I am not advanced enough to know if I am on the right path, or if I am making things up. The boys are both very calm during and after our attunement sessions. I could swear they are asking for a session when they just keep meowing until I stop what I’m doing. They go into our quiet room and assume their favorite positions, and wait for me to “get in the zone”
Val, could you check in with them to see if I am reading any of this correctly? Would love to know how else I can help them. I am open to any suggestions you or my fellow colleagues might have. Thank you in advance. This is proving to be a fascinating journey!

Hi Lee,
Wanted to let you know that your post came in after the deadline which is noon the day before the call so we have time to prepare for the call. Unfortunately we weren’t able to include this in the January call.
IF you would like to submit for the QA call next month, please re-post in the thread for the February Gold & Platinum members Questions and Answers call.
