Communicating With Animals In Spirit – How Far Back Can You Go?
My most favorite kind of students are the ones who ask questions, who are open to learning what they don’t know yet, and who show up wanting to be a better communicator.
Because if you don’t ask, how will you learn or advance your skills and abilities?
Beyond that is being sure to ask the RIGHT person – an expert – who knows the answers and can properly guide you, because THAT is even more important.
Asking “Joe or Jill in the diner” who has an opinion about everything but doesn’t have 30 years expertise in the field will get you very different answers that may not be helpful at all.
And if you’re going in the wrong direction, more speed doesn’t help.
Margaret asked, “Is there a timeline for how far back you can go to communicate with animals in spirit?”

First, let’s be clear about who animals really are.
Animals, like humans, are spiritual beings in physical bodies.
They are intelligent, thinking, reasoning, feeling beings.
They have their own purposes, lessons, unique viewpoints, and roles they play in their Soul’s Journey.
We all have souls, and we can be “incarnate” (in physical form) for a wide variety of reasons.
When we leave our bodies, our soul continues beyond the physical body.
Our Souls are not lost forever or disappear from existence.
We only step out of our body, like taking off an old suit that no longer fits us, or getting out of a vehicle that no longer functions.
Beyond that, it’s important to realize there is no such thing as time; it is a linear construct helpful for living life on planet Earth.
Quantum physics tells us that, so time is irrelevant when it comes to communicating with Souls.
This is something I have learned from communicating with thousands of profoundly wise animals for over 30 years.
And it’s something I do for private clients, and, I’ve taught in Q&A Coaching Calls, Masterclasses and in my courses too – how to communicate with animals in spirit.
In my experience, there is no timeline for how far back you can go to communicate with them after they’ve transitioned.
And there is no need to wait a certain amount of time before communicating with them after they’ve crossed over.
I’ve communicated successfully with animals who transitioned recently, more than 50+ years ago, and I’ve been fully present with animals during and immediately after their transition too.
Is it harder to communicate with animals who crossed over many years ago?
Yes, sometimes, especially if they’ve already reincarnated, and maybe have experienced multiple lifetimes since you were with them.
Or they are currently living a life incarnate with someone else…
But not impossible, no.
Is it harder to communicate with animals in spirit if you’re still grieving or are not at peace with what happened to them?
Yes, especially so when you’re grieving because you have to feel to be able to communicate and when you’re feeling so much pain and loss and upset, your thoughts are scattered, your heart is broken…
You’ll block yourself or limit your ability to communicate.
Not because they don’t want to talk to you, but because you cannot hear them.
Is it different communicating with animals in spirit form than when they are in physical form?
Yes it is.
I teach about communicating successfully with animals who have crossed over in the Advanced Course, and we have many Masterclasses on the topic of soulmates, transitions, incarnation and soul circles because communicating with animals in spirit is different than in physical form.
