Melanie has volunteered to host her dog Daisy as our next Featured Animal Teacher (FAT). You will enjoy getting to know this wonderful animal teacher.
Gold & Platinum members will have an opportunity to connect with Roxy along with Val on the next Q&A call Saturday, September 15. We encourage all of you to connect with Daisy now and through out the month.
Tune into Daisy first and see what you sense. It’s not just about getting words although that’s a lot of fun when it happens. Remember that telepathic comes from ‘tele’ meaning over a distance like telephone and television, and ‘pathic’ that comes from pathos. So literally telepathic is emotion over a distance.
How does Daisy feel to you? Happy? Sad? Excited? etc.
Ask Daisy ice breaker questions as you might with any new teacher. It’s not about “getting the right answer” but about connecting with a wonderful animal.
Have fun!
Many thanks to Melanie for offering to host Daisy as our featured animal teacher for this month. We look forward to Melanie and Daisy sharing feedback, information and stories along our journey.

Daisy is happy and filled with energy. Playful, and tunes in quickly to what’s around her. Barks when she wants to play or for attention. Back end moves quickly when excited and wagging her tail.

I just connected with Daisy this morning.
Daisy looks to you for directions and approval. You and Daisy have a very healthy and happy relationship with each other. She wants to please you. In a past life I saw that you were together. I got that Daisy was a carriage horse and you were her driver. You were very kind to her and she became very attached to you and wanted to spend more time with you. This applies to now in this relationship.Physically, she is about 8 years? She really enjoys her walks with you especially off leash. She might be tempted by a bunny, squirrel or kitty when walking in town so best to pick safe off leash places. She really enjoys playing outside but when I asked if she had a favorite toy I received an image of a forest…wild Life area. I also received an image of a split rail fence and field.
When I asked about a favorite room I saw a room with brown carpet, white adobe like walls and a wood stove.
I asked does she enjoy eating? She sent back an image of sleeping.
Tan dog bed in living room?
I was distracted toward the end so am unsure about the dog bed.
Then I told her I would her I would continue conversation later and thanked her and said goodbye. -

Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for communicating with Daisy.
We do have a very good relationship. She’s my baby. She’s 5 years old. She lives her walks. We usually walk on the canal, but when the weather is dry we walk in a woodland, through a split-rail fence, where she loves to paddle in the river. We then come out of the woodland area into a big field.
She does love to chase things and often chases the geese on the canal. This is becoming a problematic trait though, as she has started chasing other dogs in an aggressive manner if they run past her, which is resulting in me having to put her on the lead more. It would be great if you or anyone wants to explore this further.
Our living room has a brown carpet, with 3 cream coloured walls. Her bed downstairs is a thick beige blanket, in a crate in the back room. She usually sleeps on the sofa during the day, but takes herself off to bed when she wants some peace.
I don’t have a stove unfortunately, just a coal effect gas fire.
Daisy does love to please me, but is also very strong-willed if she sets her mind on something.
It’s really interesting what you said about her being a horse in her past life. We often show each other affection by touching foreheads and noses, like you see people doing with horses. I’ve always thought this unusual, but it feels so natural to us both.
Thanks again for connecting with her. You had a strong connection there too. Well done. Xx

Hello Melanie,
Thank you for letting us talk with Daisy this month.
She is such a full of love! When I connected with her energy, I felt calm and slow moving energy from her. Though I got a sense that when she was puppy, she was bit more energetic and likes to jump around? She seems to have slowed down with the age and I sensed she is getting a bit of heaviness due to her aging. Though I didn’t sense anything painful or it was bothering her. It was just how she operates now.
I asked her if there’s something she wants me to relay to you and I got an image of a black metal gate and fence that is closed but she is on the outside of that gate. There was stairs going up behind that gate to somewhere. That’s all she gave me as a “hint” and I’m hoping this might ring a bell to you so you can let me know to have further conversation about this with Melanie…
I offered healing just in case she wants it like I always do when I connected with her. Instead of me giving her healing, she actually surrounded me with her loving energy instead! Such a lovely dog. I think she might be a healer of your household?
After I wrote this much, I scanned other conversation that has happened with her so far (my comments above was done without reading previous posts). I noticed you wanted help with her aggressive behavior on leash. I’d LOVE to help you with this. My goal with AC/healing is to be able to help animals and humans who developed unwanted behavior due to one reason or another. So I’d like to explore and be able to improve my skills here because this is what I am so passionate about! I’ll talk to her about it next time when I connect with her.
Thanks and looking forward to hearing back from you!

Ha ha, I’m really laughing at her ‘hint’. There are no black gates. Daisy comes with us everywhere and doesn’t like to be left alone. However, the only time we leave her downstairs is when my hubby and I need some ‘alone time,’ which she strongly objects to – lol.
Whilst she still has her giddy moments, she has slowed down a lot from being a pup. Occasionally she gets a bit of stiffness in her back leg, but she seems ok at the moment.
She is most definitely a healer and it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that she sent you some healing.
I would love for you to communicate wih her regarding her behaviour with other dogs. Thank you.
She is very random with it. Most of the time she is fine with other dogs, but occasionally she just seems to randomly chase and bark aggressively at them. She is more nervous of other dogs whilst on the lead which I get, but sometimes, more recently she can sniff a dog whilst off the lead and be fine, but then run behind it, barking aggressively as it turns to walk away.
More consistently,if a dog is running alongside its human we have to grab her or she chases it.
With smaller dogs she seems to want to dominate them by repeatedly running around in circles and jumping on them. Again this is random and happens occassionally. My husband and I are very aware and try to be very calm whilst approaching other dogs, so I’m pretty sure she’s not picking up any fear or nerves from us.
I would love to know what’s going on and how I can help her with this as she is such a loving girl and I’ve no idea why or how this has come about.
Thanks Chigusa.xx

Hello Melanie,
I haven’t had chance to spend time checking in with her (I’d like to give it some time but I don’t have time this morning) about the behavior but I wanted to relay one message.Daisy was not joking about the hint. She wants to you to think about it. Just know that (and this is important for AC) it might not be literally a gate or even black. It might not be physical object. It represents something that seems important to Daisy to communicate to you. And my sense I get is that she is outside of the gate, not inside, so she is not talking about being left out, almost sense not being let in. Could you give it another try? Does it ring a bell?
Thanks,
Chigusa

Hi Chigusa,
Joking aside, Daisy does have separation anxiety. We take her with us wherever we can or leave her with one of our parents when we can’t, so she’s never left alone for very long. However, even when we leave her at our parents when we go out, she can be quite anxious, waiting for us to get back.
I struggle to communicate with Daisy as I know her so well and can’t differentiate what comes from her and what comes from me. I tried to connect again with her tonight to ask about her hint. I felt a sadness with it, but still couldn’t grasp what she wants me to know.
My daughter also has 3 rats, who live in a large cage upstairs in her bedroom. When they come out to play Daisy is not allowed in the room. She likes to say hello through the bars, but we are worried that she would chase them and accidentally hurt them if we let them out whilst she was in the room.
Sorry, maybe I’m clutching at straws here, but I’m really not sure what she’s referring to.
I’d really like to find out though, so if you can get any more insight I’d love to hear it.
Thank you
Mel x-

Hello Melanie,
This morning, I had quite a bit of block to connect for some reason… Though I was finally able to calm my energy to have conversation with Daisy about her separation anxiety because that was what she directed me to talk about.I sensed that she used to be human before in one of her incarnation. She feels that because how you and your husband treat her (like a little child), she feels she has to act like a child. She believe that acting like a little child that is left behind and make a big fuss is what you two want because otherwise you would feel like she doesn’t care about you two or you would feel that she doesn’t love you. So she is doing that to express her love to you in a way that she feels is the right way of expressing that is easy for you to understand.
I explained to her that that’s not the right way to express it. She should treat you and your husband like a friend, rather than a child. If being a child is what she wants and what you want, that’s fine but that should be of an older child not a little child. I explained to her that if she was a friend or an older child, she wouldn’t make such a big fuss about you leaving, will she?
She understands that but she also has developed a habit of doing this and told me would be hard to undo because she feels your anxiety when you leave. I told her that it is OK that she ignore you two when you leave. I told her to block your energy and just go inside her cocoon and cuddle up in her own energy. I showed her an image of her coiling on a bed and simply ignoring you two. I advised to look away, do whatever to avoid her reacting to your energy.
So, next time when you leave, please just leave her like you do when you leave your friend’s house. Say goodbye (or you probably could even avoid that in the beginning!) but just walk away. And please do not react or think she is ignoring you (actually she is on purpose) and feel sad about it.
Let me know if this improve the separation anxiety situation.
Thanks,
Chigusa

I introduced myself to her. She was welcoming to me. I told her she’s the Featured Animal Teacher of the Month (for a month). She wanted to know what that is, so I explained it to her. She likes that she’ll have people talking to her. I asked her how she is and she said, “Fine, just fine.” She said she also enjoys lying on the couch with Mom or on the floor by Mom’s feet. I got that she’s not real interested in toys, but she used to be when she was younger. She said she likes treats. She said she likes snausages, bones (like Milk Bone), and Beggin’ Strips. When I asked Daisy if she eats dry food or canned food, I got that she eats both but mostly dry food. I asked her if she sleeps on the bed. I got that she sleeps on both beds (dog and human). I asked her if she likes baths. I got mixed answers. I also got a visual or her being wet and leaning back from the water (as in a shower with a human). I also got a visual of her sitting while being bathed and really enjoying the bath. We talked a little more and mentioned that she gets a little bored sometimes and wanted me to tell her mom that. We said our goodbyes and that we look forward to talking again.

Hi Melanie,
Before I tried to connect with Daisy, I brought up the two ATH photos (larger than the ones posted on this page) and did a few (too few) centered breaths. Then from 10:15 to 10:25 CDT (Texas), we had the following exchange. About 4:00 pm in London? I had some specific questions but tried to maintain an “unintentional field” (or whatever the correct term is which I’ll look up later).
I greeted her, gave her my first name, and mentioned the ATCC group. Her reply seemed to be: What’s this? Another one talking to me?
She seemed to be sitting on a sofa with her front legs stretched out, back legs stretched behind her as in the photo. What is the name of that posture for dogs and cats?
Daisy seemed alert, curious, and direct in the sense of: If I want to know something, I explore it.
Verifiable questions (no sense of accuracy about these):
Were you a puppy when Melanie adopted you? Yes.Did you two meet when you were in a kennel at a shelter or loose in a home? Loose in a home.
Do you know how old you are now? Eight. (Same answer as Barbara Grout above, but the correct age is five.)
Do you do anything bad that worries Melanie? Chase squirrels. (Incorrect: chasing dogs is worrisome as Melanie explains.)
Is there something special about you that Melanie doesn’t know and that you want her to know? I got “washing.” She doesn’t seem to like baths (typical of dogs like squirrel chasing?) but she likes being hugged with the drying towel around her.
Thank you, Melanie and Daisy, for the opportunity. ~Carol
Are you nervous about group members contacting you during the ATCC phone call tomorrow? A litt.e.

Hi Martha,
Thank you for connecting with Daisy. She loves attention from people, so I’m sure she’ll enjoy her chats this month. She does love to lie on the coach with me or her dad or by our feet.
Daisy does love her toys, but she likes to be chased with them or else she chews them.
Daisy loves sausages and treats of all kinds. You are spot on with her food. After trying lots of different types she seems to like to mix it up, so she has dried food in the morning and dried food with a bit of meat mixed in for her evening meal.
Daisy isn’t actually allowed on our bed. She usually sleeps on her bed on the floor next to us.
Daisy loves splashing in water and puddles, but isn’t too keen on baths. We usually shower her in the bath.
Daisy is very bright, so I will take it on board about her being bored at times and do some more training tricks with her, which she loves (along with the treats that go with them).
Thanks for communicating with her. 🙂 -

Hi Carole,
Thanks for communicating with Daisy. At around 4:00pm she she was lying on the sofa on her side.
She is very alert and curious and will most certainly explore whatever takes her interest.Yes I did get Daisy from a house as a puppy. She is 5 years old and will be 6 in December.
She’s not fond of baths, but does love to be towelled after a bath or walk in the rain.
I’ll try to talk to her about the call tomorrow.
Thanks for connecting with her 🙂

Barbara Grout,
I’ve just take Daisy onto the field near our house to play with her ball. As I went on I passed a black split rail fence. I’d forgotten all about that as my husband takes her on that field more than me. I usually take her to the canal or river. -

Hi Melanie, I wanted to connect with Daisy before the class because sometimes it is hard for the animal to connect with so many people. She is very friendly and said that she loves her life and her parents very much. I asked her what her purpose is with you and she said that she is teaching you patience and experiencing joy connecting to the present moment. She enjoys just being in your company.
She is a delight. Thank you for sharing her with us this month. -

Hi Melanie! I just love Daisy! So cute! My first impression was she is mellow and goofy, fun but can relax. She really enjoys watching everything around her. She likes to chase bikes. She reminds me of my dog Smokey who was a Schnauzer terrier mix. He loved chasing and circling too as someone mentioned. Hard to break that habit! But he was a good protector and best buddy to mini schnauzer Sadie. They are both in spirit now. What surprised me is she told me Smokey was sitting next to her right now. I get chills wow! What breed or mix is she? Thanks for sharing her with us!

Hi Chigusa,
Thank you for connecting again with Daisy. She really doesn’t like to be separated from us, so it doesn’t surprise me that that’s what came up.
Both my husband and I are very matter of fact about leaving her and always have been to ensure that she doesn’t pick up on any stress from us. We aren’t worried about leaving her as we know she is safe hands with people she knows well.
We have also been practising mindfulness with her, which we’ve done just before leaving her or moving any distance away from her e.g. if my husband takes her to his allotment he has to secure her to a nearby post (within view) so she doesn’t run on the plots.
She doesn’t like it if just one of us moves out of sight. Whilst she calms right down with the mindfulness, she soon starts barking again if we leave her, even to go in a different room.
It’s very interesting though how animals can perceive things differently and it will be interesting to see if she feels any better about things after your conversation.
Thanks very much.-

Hello Melanie,
I tried something different this morning. Both you and Daisy gave me a few clues about her separation anxiety so I’m going to see if I can interpret it and if that makes sense to you at all…Daisy did tell us in the beginning about “being let in.” You told me that you work on mindfulness and you leave Daisy rather matter of fact fashion. Have you tried talking with Daisy before you leave to let her know what you and your husband are doing? (I have a feeling you do, but just asking…)
When I started AC and back when I didn’t pick up any signals from my dog, I tried something one of the books told me to do. I spoke to my dog about the trip my husband and I are taking, and how many days we will be gone, and how she will stay at this boarding kennel which has swimming pool and I think she’ll have so much fun. Every day, I sort of “sold” this idea of her being boarded. It was rather comical because when we arrived at the boarding kennel, she not only had no concern at all, but ran inside the boarding place pulling the caretaker. She never looked back once at us. 🙂
Nowadays, when I travel, I do this explanation and I do check in with my dog occasionally during the trip to say hi. When I come home, my dog typically says hi, but excitement is a little bit more than the amount of excitement when I come home from a grocery store. She doesn’t even say hi to me when I come home from work anymore… Provided, that she never really had a huge separation anxiety but she does react when I leave on a trip (which I do at least once a year to visit my family back home). She knows when my suitcase comes out. So that’s when I start talking.
Since our animals are always listening, there’s no hiding. For better or worse, it is now a big deal to Daisy, so why don’t you make a “big deal” with it? By telling her that it is not a big deal is almost like telling her that she is wrong and you are right. I try to approach AC with the mindset of “animal is always right” and see how we could influence that mind in a way that may help the situation. She wants to know what would happen to her, but I have a feeling you are not telling her. If you are already talking to her about it, try to explain in more details (you might even have to go as much details as “I am going to put on my shoes, then open the door…”)
Let me know how this resonate with you!
Thanks,
Chigusa

Hi Alicia @aliciashamilton
Thank you for connecting with Daisy. You’ve got a really good sense of her. She is an absolute joy, full of fun and very friendly.
She is a very good teacher and I learn so much about being in the moment with her, whether through our shared walks, playing or sitting on the grass in the garden and just ‘being’ – something she does most evenings.
Thank you for communicating with her. -

Hi Joy @joy_2812
I love your description of her – mellow, but goofy. She has calmed down a lot over the years, but still has lots of energy and her mad moments. She knows how to relax and loves to chill out and meditate with us or enjoy the reiki energy when I’m doing some healing. She’s a labradoodle and when she is giddy she bombs around in circles, racing uo and down the room, doing what we call a ‘doodle dash.’
She doesn’t chase bikes so much as dogs that run along side bikes 😮 However she is very alert and loves to watch what is going on around her.
That’s so lovely that Smokey joined her today to connect with you. He sounds lovely.
Thanks for connecting with her. -

Hi everyone,
A couple of things came up on the call today that I don’t remember verifying.
Pamela you mentioned that Daisy may have problems with her hip when she gets older. She does seem to get a bit of stiffness in her back leg during the winter months, so I think you’re spot on with that too.
Martha, you mentioned her connecting with people and really feeling them. You are right with that too. She is very empathic. A couple of years ago I tutored a little girl at home for a while. Her mum was so anxious that when she came around Daisy urinated in the house on two occasions, something she never does. She would just go and sit in front of her and give her a paw.
It’s so lovely hearing you all talking about Daisy and knowing that you are all getting a good sense of the beautiful soul that she is.
Thank you xx

You’ve given me some really good tips there to try.I do often tell Daisy when I’m going out and roughly when we’ll be back and I try to send her images where I can. However, I do struggle to communicate with her in a sense that I’m not sure if what I’m getting is her or me, so I’ve not gone into too much detail and have maybe been a bit inconsistent with this.
I’ll make an effort to do this every time now and break it down like you said into specific details.
I can see what you mean now about “letting her in” – involving her more in our plans and how her “hint” fits in with her separation anxiety.
Thank you so much for persisting wih this. I’ll let you know how it goes. Xx

Hello Melanie,
How are you and Daisy doing? Have you had a chance to try out the process of including her when you separate? It’s been a while I connected with Daisy so I decided to talk with her this morning. Please forgive me what I’m about to say might be something against your belief system or sound “out there” but I’ve been getting bombarded by spiritual lessons that I cannot ignore and changing the whole view of the spirituality and the universe… So here it goes.
You might have had some reason why you started doing mindfulness. I don’t now the reason behind it but my guess is there was something you were working on that is not just for AC. Whatever it is, Daisy is there to help you with it.
Her reaction to other dogs has to do with that. You mentioned that you become calm when Daisy reacts. How do you do it? My sense is that Daisy reacts to dogs whose energy is little on the negative side or their energy is very strong that can affect your energy. That doesn’t mean the dog is good or bad, it is just the energy at the time of encounter that something about that energy is “off” to Daisy. And I sense that however you are doing mindfulness at that point somehow is dropping your shield so Daisy is trying to protect you there. When you do mindfulness in these situations, does your energy go inward or outward? How does your energy feel? Strong or weak? I sense the energy is going more inward direction that gets weaker.
Next time when you encounter another dog (do this when you walk Daisy and way before Daisy reacts), try projecting your loving energy and see what happens?
Loving lights,
Chigusa

Hi Melanie, Thank you so much for sharing Daisy with us. I introduced myself to Daisy and she was very happy and wiggling her body and tail all at the same time. I remembered seeing somewhere that you said that there were some issues about her behavior around other dogs at times, so I asked her about it.
She had some interesting things to say about this. Daisy told me that it was because she could sense that at some time earlier in the dog’s life, even if it was just once; the dog she encountered had growled or displayed aggression towards a human, so she was protecting you. Then she said there was a dog who she snapped at because she felt was being judged by that dog. It was her way of saying “Don’t judge me”. I asked if that was a message to any of us and she just smiled. -

Hi Jo, thanks for connecting with Daisy.
She does get very excited when people say hello to her and does waggle her body as well as her tail in excitement.
It’s very interesting what she’s said about other dogs. If you connect again at any point will you please thank her from me, but tell her that I’d be much happier if she didn’t chase other dogs.
It’s particularly interesting what you said about judgement as that is a personal fear that I am working on overcoming at the moment, as it’s holding me back. I wonder if she is mirroring that back to me. -

Hi Melanie,
Hopefully you can confirm one or the other, besides Daisy being defensive towards dogs.
When Val guided us to connect with Daisy, I drew a heart around her name, which Ii never did before. My sentences started with Love, like I love to play, love to sleep & dreams, love to have fun, love walks, love my home, love food and people, and love dogs but is very cautious toward other dogs also. Daisy is a energised dog. Daisy knows how to defend her family and home, if she needs too. She has a young personality. I asked:’How old are you?” I received 10 years old. Her body feels sometimes stiff but I am okay. Advise to me: Take life easier -

Hi Manuela,
‘Love’ is the perfect word to describe Daisy. She is a very happy, loving, energetic dog. She loves all the things you’ve mentioned too. She does love to say hello and play with a lot of dogs, but she is cautious of them and we do have the occasional problem of her chasing them.
I have no doubt that she would defend us if she has to. She is very protective and on two occasions has blocked people from coming near us on the canal by standing between us and barking – something we really don’t encourage, though I understand that she is protecting us. Using The Trust Technique (mindfulness), we’re trying to work on helping her feel that we are able to take ownership of the situations and that she doesn’t have to.
I’m very interested to note that two people have said that Daisy loves her dreams. She does dream a lot. However, she does seem to have nightmares too occasionally. On a couple of occasions over the years she has woken us up by howling mournfully in her sleep and at the beginning of the month she woke up twice and raced to the other side of the bed in fright. When I got up to check on her we went and sat out on the landing and her heart was beating really quickly, so I had to calm her down.
Daisy is 5 years old and will be 6 in December. She still has her giddy moments and is definitely young at heart and all about the joy in life. It’s very interesting that everyone here has picked up that she is an older dog. She does get stiffness in her back legs at times too, usually after she has been lay down a bit, but sometimes when the weather is colder too.
Thanks for connecting with her Manuela. That’s great advice she gave too 🙂

Hi Melanie,
I had a 5-to-10 minute conversation with/fantasy about Daisy this morning as follows:
I complimented her on receiving and following your directions so well when you visited the house with two cats with her. She said you laid out what she was to do clearly, so she felt like you two were a “team.” She loves you and wants to please you, and she feels very loved.
I told her that yesterday when I was emptying a new bag of kibble into a plastic container for my six cats, I thought of how my male cat, Raven, knows how to open cupboards if I store a bag in one of them. Then he rips and chews the bag open to get at the food even though there’s a bowl of kibble on the cats’ dining table.
I asked Daisy if she ever took food like my cat did before you or your husband gave it to her. The answer seemed to be that the food goes immediately into a tall white cylinder in the kitchen; she took me from the living room where she’d been resting to see it. She said she might open a bag if it weren’t in a container she couldn’t open. I asked if the kitchen were a large room. The reply seemed to be, Well, look around. It’s medium, smaller than the living room (afraid I was superimposing my kitchen on whatever image she was trying to show me).
I apologized for fading out and said I hoped we could talk again.

Hello Melanie,
I connected with Daisy this morning. I greeted Daisy and she gave me some gentle licks and said she remembered me. I love her sweet, caring, gentle, patient, warm energy. She asked me how I’ve been and I told her I’ve been well. I asked her how she’s been. She said, “Just dandy!” I asked her “What’s new?” She said, ‘I was going to ask that!”I told her I’ve seen my sister, nephew dog, brother-in-law, and some other people and have eaten things I don’t generally eat that have been SOOOOO good. She said “Sometimes it’s good to eat things you don’t generally eat that taste good.” She said it’s good for the soul which is good for the body in a way. I told her my sister, nephew dog, and I went to Petco. She said she likes Petco. I said that’s it’s a nice store. She said, “Yes, it’s nice animals are welcome.”
I asked he what she’s been up to. She said, “Living life. Helping mom. Being with doggy friends. Hanging out in the nice grass.” I also got that there is human company or human company is coming to visit.
I asked Daisy if there’s anything else in particular she’d like to talk about. Something about teeth came up. I don’t know if it’s accurate or even applies to her. I got that he teeth aren’t bothering her, but there might be something going on with them. I asked her if they need veterinary attention. She said not now but maybe next regular veterinary visit. Again, I don’t know this is right or even applies to her.
I asked her if she could tell me about some of her favorite things. I got a visual of a red leash. I asked her about her favorite food. She said, “dog food.” I got a sense she eats raw dog food. I also got that she likes venison. I also got she likes macaroni and cheese. “Apple” also came to me. I asked her if she was telling me if she likes apples or if she was telling me she loves her mommy. She said, “both.”
I told Daisy I enjoyed talking with her and she can come talk to me any time she wants. I told we’ll talk again soon. I also told her I like apples, too. I also gave her and hug and she licked my nose.

Hi Gina,
Daisy loves people in general. Even when people are adraid of her she senses it and tries to befriend them.
She does however get a bit spooked when my son brings his tall friends home, especially if they are wearing hats. Once they take their hat off and sit down she is fine.
Sh has never snapped at person, It’s not in her nature.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for connecting with Daisy again. She is certainly very loved.
We’re sat on the couch having a morning cuddle right now ☺️I love the conversation about food. We do indeed put Daisy’s food out of her reach when it arrives. We have a big, clear plastic tub in the kitchen on a worktop behind the microwave – out of her reach. Considering she steals dog treats out of my pockets I’ve no doubt whatsoever that she would steal her own food given the chance – lol.
Our kitchen is quite big, probably about the same size as our living room as it was extended several years ago. When animals show me a kitchen I often see parts of ny own too. I suppose that’s how the information comes in a way that makes sense to us. Xx
Thanks for connecting with her Carol. It looks like you had a really good connection.

Hi Melanie,
It was about 9 am CDT in Texas so about 2 in the afternoon in England? Daisy seemed to be lying on the sofa, so I sort of kneeled on the carpet beside her (does the posture have a name for legs slanted out, butt on floor?).
When I asked her the weather, I got “sunny.” My complaints about humans and so much stuff in the house and then having to try to reduce what’s needed to a suitcase for ten days. Daisy sighed and seemed glad she didn’t have to bother about that. Did her guardians ever go on vacation and for how long? I seemed to get five days. She stayed home and had someone visit her, or she stayed in another house–no kennel stay like at a vet’s.
I told Daisy about a cat I mostly tended for about two years before he and his guardian moved away (and then I adopted my first cat). He would sit in front of my record-radio-audiocassette player (no CDs in late 80s/early 90s) when he wanted me to put on Jean-Pierre Rampal’s flute music, and he’d stay there for a side of the cassette. I asked Daisy if she liked to listen to music. Not loud blasting from a passing vehicle. But she liked (oh, where is this is off-the-rails stuff coming from?) Waltzing Mathilda and similar music.
I thanked Daisy for her attention and told her I had to smile at how pretty she is with her curly hair. She seemed to smile, too.

Hi Martha, thanks for connecting with Daisy again. She is very welcoming and having spoken to you once will see you as a friend now.
Daisy gets bored of the same food, so after trying lots of different things we now give her the same kibble, but mix it with different flavoured meats in the evening. I think venison is in one of those flavours. I tried her on raw food a few years ago, but it knocked her tummy off and she kept being sick.
We don’t have a Petco in the UK. I took her in a local Petsmart a couple of years ago maybe and they gave her a treat, so I’m sure she enjoyed the experience – lol.
We did have company on Friday. My two neices came to stay and their pup came for a little while when they were dropped off. I’m not aware of any problems with Daisy’s teeth at the moment, but I’ve just bought some ear cleaner as she’s been rubbing her ears. I’ll keep an eye out for her teeth though, in case there is some nerve pain.
Daisy does have a red leash and she loves her walks. She doesn’t seem to bother about apples, but likes to eat the pears that drop off our neighbours tree.
I love that she listed ‘helping mom’ as one of the things she enjoys as she does like to get involved – usually looking for opportunities to play or cuddle ☺️

Hi Carol,
At 2pm today Daisy was lying on the sofa. My husband, Andy, was home with her and he just laughed and said she was lay on her back with her legs in the air, wagging her tail whilst sleeping. I’ve not seen her wag her tail in her sleep before – I wonder if that’s because she was enjoying her conversation with you.
I’ve been indoors all day at work, but Andy said it has been sunny today.
You are spot on about the holiday. We went to stay with family in Spain for 5 days and Daisy stayed at my mum-in-law’s house. We’ve been camping too, but she comes camping with us.
I’m not sure about the music. My son plays the guitar and keyboard and as a family we all love singing. My kids are even good at it – lol, so she’s around music all the time. Not the older stuff though.
Daisy has a great smile and o viously enjoyed the conversation. Thanks for connecting with her ☺️

Hi Melanie,
I’m so sorry for the late reply to your response. Please accept my apologies.
Thank you for the feedback. I enjoy getting the confirmation where I am right in the communication and guidance where I’m not right.
As for your nieces visiting, I hope Daisy had a good time. In regards to Petsmart, I didn’t know they have those in the UK. Considering she was given a treat while there, yes, I’m sure she enjoyed Petsmart!
Your Daisy is truly a precious girl!

Hi Melanie, I connected with lovely Daisy and wanted to share the special conversation we had. Daisy was laying in tall grass and and when I said hello, she remembered me and invited me to lay in the tall grass with her.
Daisy: Come and lay close beside me in the grass.
Me: Thank you. I would love to join you. Oh, this is so nice.
Daisy: Do you feel my heat beating?
Me: Yes, I do. Are you ok?
Daisy: I am ok.
Me: I am curious why you asked me about your heart. Tell me more please.
Daisy: If you can hear and feel my heart beating, then you can feel my love.
Me: I do feel your love. I hope you can hear and feel my heart beating full of love for you.
Daisy: Yes (Wagging her body and tail)
Me: Mom wanted me to thank you for talking to me about the other dogs that you meet when you go on walks. She would love it (you will hear and feel her heart beating with love) if you just didn’t chase them.
Just think how enjoyable your walks would be if you stay close to Mom and not worry about those other dogs.
Daisy: Maybe
Me: Do you have any messages or anything you would like to say?
Daisy: “Just be”
Me: Thank you so much for sharing this time with me. -

A Conversation with Daisy
Hi Daisy, I’m Barb from the animal communication class that your person Melanie is also taking.
Daisy: I know I remember you.
Barb: can we have a chat: (She sends me an image of a dirty diaper being changed.)
Daisy: Ooooooh. I do not like that human smell. Good thing Melanie doesn’t have a baby that does this.
Barb: I’m happy that I don’t have to change human’s diapers at this time in my life.
Daisy: So yucky. Dogs smell better.
Barb: I take my daughter’s dog for a walk and clean up his poop. It doesn’t smell good to me.
Daisy: ha ha…
Barb: I took him to the dog park and he chased and growled at other dogs and nipped at them. It didn’t make me happy. We had to leave the park.
Daisy: I do that too when I don’t like the other dog. I want it to move a long. Go away.
Barb: I imagine your person Melanie might not like when you do that.
Daisy: Tell her to not get so close to them. Leave room. I don’t like being too close. I see you take your daughter’s dog off the path and away from the other ones. Maybe she can to.
Barb: How do you see that?
Daisy: You showed me a picture!
Barb: wow! Thanks for telling me that! Ok. I’ll let her know.
How does she know the ones you do not like?
Daisy: I’ll growl….
Barb: hmmmm….
Daisy: ??? No? How about I lead off the path a bit.
Barb: Ok. Don’t pull too much, only for a second to show her.
Daisy: Ok! (Wag, wag, wag)
Barb: It was nice talking to you. I’ll connect again.
Daisy: smiles -

Jo, that sounds like a lovely conversation. Daisy loves to lie on the lawn in the evening and just be.
Thanks. For talking to her again. Fingers crossed she will continue to be food around other dogs. I’ve not had any problems with her chasing other dogs since she has been animal teacher. Xx -

Hi Barb,
Thanks for connecting with Daisy again. That was an interesting insight into me getting too close to other dogs, as she only really does it on the canal, where there isn’t much room to manoevre around. The only other time she has done it was whilst out walking with my brother’s pup. My brother-in-law had Daisy on a lead and I was carying the puppy. Another dog passed us on a lead and Daisy turned around and tried to chase it after it had passed her and was passing us. That would certainly suggest that she is being protective.
Hopefully with everyone talking to her she will start to get the message that the behaviour is unwanted. She has been very good recently.
Thanks again for taking the time to connect with her. Xx -

Hi Chigusa,
I’m sorry – I had missed your post. Thanks for the nudge.
Don’t worry about being too way out – I’m on a very spiritual journey too and learning so much it’s blowing my mind.
It’s really interesting what you said about the mindfulness. The technique I’m using is called the Trust Technique, which was developed by someone who is also an animal communicator and healer. I’m still learning the process, so it’s early days yet, but I have just been focussed on emptying my mind and being present – focussing on what I can see, hear and feel etc.
After listening to the Kathleen Prassad interview and subsequently reading her book the effect seems to be very similar, so I have recently started to ‘be reiki’ more and breathe out the love as she – and you have just suggested. It’s early days yet and I have so much more to learn, but that is certainly a good starting point. Thank you so much for the insight.

Hello Melanie,
I’m familiar with the Trust Technique. I’ve practiced it for a while before I decided it is not for me (don’t take me wrong, I’m sure it is good for some other, just wasn’t for me). I also am familiar with Kathleen Prassad and in my earlier days (that’s like only a few months!), her meditation method that she shared that was a recording of her and Val talking helped me tremendously to deepen my knowledge.I’m a Reiki master myself but I don’t practice any specific method. I actually hate when someone tells me I have to do these things in these specific manner (in life and in spirituality) because I feel everyone is unique and everyone do not fit in one shape. But I am very keen on learning what everyone does so I try these methods and see if it is for me and make my own methods out of them. At the end of the day, I practice what I get guided to. The other day, a tree communicated to me about a new method that I think might help you as well so sharing here. Give it a try to see if you like it. If you don’t, then move onto finding what it works for you. 🙂 And the other thing is, these are also place in time thing. As you grow in your spirituality, you will be guided to deepen your practice and that may require you to change what you’ve been doing. Coming from my own experience…
Reiki energy come from the universe. This is the great thing about Reiki that it is supposed to be abundance of energy that you can tap into and you are just a conduit. Tree told me that in order to take energy from the universe, I need to open holes on the both ends. What it meant is like this. When poke a hole in a can of chicken broth, if I only open one hole, it doesn’t work. But if I poke two holes on opposite ends, it flows freely. It’s like that. I need to open up the connection to universe (normally crown chakra) and also open up the connection to ground (normally base chakra), then it will start flowing. This will take the energy from the universe and return to earth. But most importantly is to take the energy back up from the ground and that’s the energy you give…
This message was helping me make sure I am not depleting my energy as you do these exercises. Especially the ones that come from love. I try to vibrate at higher frequency so I can expand my love, similar to Katheleen’s method. But what I didn’t internalize and causing an imbalance was that I have to remember to also take. (This is my challenge at the moment…)
Animals often come to me so I can help provide healing to their owners. Daisy brought me to you here so I am obligated to at least share this. How you receive it is totally up to you! 🙂
Thanks,
Chigusa -

Hi Melanie,
I’m writing this as Daisy and I communicate. When I greeted her, she right away starting giving me kisses on my face. She’s so happy to see me. While kissing me, she said, “Martha, Martha,”. Lots of happy energy and warmth. I asked her how she’s doing. She stretched out on her back with legs in the air and said, “Faaaaabuuuuulous!” I asked her to tell me more about that. For some reason, “Apple,” came to mind. She also said she just got back from a walk. This was at 7:47 am PST. I also got dirty, smelly teenage boy socks. I also got breakfast food-pancakes or something. I got an open field for her walk, but then I got a walk in a neighborhood with houses around. For the walk in the open field, I got a vision of a tennis ball or a frisbee or a big stick and then a vision of Daisy carrying the big stick and a vision of her carrying either the frisbee or tennis ball. She showed me her treat container. She showed me a white ceramic container around 10-12 inches right with a lid. She said, “This is where Mommy keeps by treats!!!” She loves her treats! I get the sense that they’re healthy treats and that they’re dark in color and air dried meat that looks like beef jerky but is not beef jerky.
She said you, Melanie, take or keep water for her in the car. I got a plastic, spill proof dog water bowl. I also got an image of an aqua colored human water bottle.
She showed me an image of her walking alongside a bike being ridden.
She also gave me an image of clouds from her view when she’s lying in the grass looking at them.
She sent me a vision of her with a squeaky toy in her mouth and sent audio of the toy squeaking. She loves to hear the squeaks!
She also sent me an image of you meditating and sitting on the ground or a red pillow with your legs crossed and your eyes closed and your arms bent with your palms up (well known meditation position) and of her next to you. She wants you to know that while you’re meditating, she’s also meditating and can feel your energy. She enjoys this.
Daisy said she also likes “family movie night”.
Then, she said, “(Sounds like “Wup”” Gotta go.” Then I scrolled up to her picture again to clarify to make sure that that actually came from her. When I scrolled up to her picture, she showed me an image of her getting in a vehicle-seemed like an SUV or something else a little high from the ground-not like a low car. This was around 8:10 am PST.
I said “bye” to her and told her she can come talk to me anytime. She said the same. I hugged her and she kissed me, then I kissed her. I could feel her absorbing my love and energy and I could feel her love and energy and absorbed it. Then, the vehicle started backing up to go somewhere. we then said, “Bye” and that we’ll talk again.

Hi Martha,
Daisy does love people. We take her on a walk to different places – mostly the canal, but sometimes we walk on the roads, which takes us through a housing estate and sometimes we take her on a field near our house with a ball and a long ball thrower. She has had a frisbee on occasion and does like them, but she tends to break them, so hasn’t had one for a while.
I think 7:45 PST is about 3:45pm in the UK, so a little late for her walk. We usually go at around 9:30am uk time. Today we went in the car to the canal, so it’s right about her having to get in to come home. We have a 7 seater VW, so it is bigger than a standard car. I do take water in the car for her if we are going on long journeys. Andy has a bike, but he doesn’t take her out with him whilst riding it. Usually when we see a bike on the canal we shout her over to the side to sit and wait until it has passed.
Daisy loves socks and is forever seeking out our worn socks and running away with them. She likes to sleep with them at night too. She also loves to lie on the grass outside at night, just chilling. I enjoy watching the clouds and looking for images in them, so she may have picked this up from me.
I keep her treats mainly in a green oblong tin, but the treats she seems to be showing you sound like her ‘moo choos’, which are long strips of air dried meat. She’s not had them for a while as they are quite expensive, but she does like them. I think maybe she’s sending me a hint there – lol.
I don’t tend to sit on the floor to meditate. Usually I sit cross legged on the sofa or bed or I lie down. Daisy does usually lie down next to me to join in though. She loves the energy when we meditate or do reiki.
Friday night has always been Family Movie Night, though this doesn’t happen s much now the kids are getting older. Daisy loves it when the family are all together though, so it doesn’t surprise me that she gave that.
Thanks for connecting with her again 🙂

Hi Melanie,
Thanks for the feedback. As for the part about hinting for treats, that’s so cute! I’m glad I was able to help Daisy in her request for treats!
Regarding the socks, again, how cute! I got a vision of her carrying one in her mouth just now. I got that the socks make her feel good because they smell like you all and she has something of yours and it’s comforting. She doesn’t need the comforting, but it is comforting. She likes having the socks because it provides closeness and having something of yours in her mouth or having physical contact feels good.I just now asked Daisy if she picked up watching the clouds from you. She said, “Yes.” She said she observed you watching them and also got visions of them from you as you saw them at that particular moment. She really enjoys watching clouds with you and by herself.
Regarding the meditating, in addition to the meditating on the floor, I also got a vision of you meditating while on the couch when I got the floor vision!
Thank you so much for sharing your sweet Daisy with us! I love Daisy!

Hi, I’m new to the forum but very excited to get to know all of you. What I noticed the first thing when I got on the site and saw Daisy, she wanted to talk right away. I had to stop and talk to her. She is very friendly, lovable and loves to play fetch (any ball) Loves to go on rides in what I saw was a truck and she was in the passenger side. Very sure of herself but very concerned about YOU. Wants to make sure your okay (meaning anyone who is talking to her) She wants you to feel welcomed. Loves to have fun and has many friends, both animal and humans. very special dog with a heart of gold.

Hi Melanie,
I connected with Miss Daisy. She’s so sweet! When I greeted her, she immediately kissed my face and wagged her tail. She said she had/is going to have company (young company). I asked if the company are your nieces. She said they are.She also gave me the image of her in the front seat of your vehicle with the windows down. She loves this! I asked her if she was going somewhere. It’s almost 8:45 am PST on Friday. Daisy said she went somewhere earlier today (for her).
Then she sent me the image of a soft, yellow toy. I asked her if she likes this toy. She sent me an image of her nodding her head.
She also gave me an image of her on her back on beautiful green grass. She likes this. She also said, “The apples, the apples.”
She also sent me an image of an older lady who is about the height and weight of the Queen of England. There’s also something about this lady and stones and crystals. She tends to wear about 1 inch heels, stockings, and a skirt. I also got that she typically wears a hat.
She then sent me an image of her carrying a sock in her mouth. She said this is almost a daily occurrence.
She said usually/quite often when you all have Family Movie Night that the movie is a comedy.
Then she sent me a vision of her with a red leash in her mouth as if she was waiting to go for a walk. I asked her if she was saying she’d like to go for a walk. She sent another image of her nodding her head and then smiling.
I also got an image of her prancing through a big, open field of beautiful green grass. She loves this field!
As we were saying our goodbyes she sent me the thought of those treats she really likes that you mentioned before. She’d love it if you got some and gave them to her!
when we were saying our goodbye I told her I look forward to talking to her again even if she’s not the FAT and that she’s welcome to come talk to me anytime. I told her I love her and gave her a hug. She kissed me. We said, “Bye,” and she went running off happily.

Hi Martha, it sounds like you had a lovely conversation.
We went to my mum’s house earlier today, where we saw my neices and their puppy.
Daisy doesn’t have a yellow toy and her toys are all pretty tough as she tends to wreck them otherwise. Stealing socks is very much a daily thing though ☺️
Daisy loves her runs and open fields are great for her. She showed my husband a big field near a resecoir that we occasionally visit, so I think that may be what you’re seeing too.
I’m not sure what she means by apples as she’s not that keen. She loves picking up pears that drop into our garden from a neighbours tree though. Or she could be referring to us Appleyards maybe.
I’m not sure who the lady is. My mum-in-law likes crystals and sometimes wears skirts, but no hat and not the same build as the Queen. I’ll watch for that one.
I’ll be sure to buy her some more of those chews with my next order – lol ☺️.
Thanks for connecting with her 💖
